But, given the track record of this administration AND the methods, I doubt anything will come of it. ie: Comey (click here), Fitzgerald, etc.
There are two sides to the same coin. There is a problem when racketeering enters the process at high levels of government. When racketeering dominates the process the end result is corruption and won’t hold up. They might in Russian courts, but, not in the USA.
Trump has tried his best to corrupt the processes of the Rule of Law in this country. The result of his shenanigans always seems to come out in the wash.
I am sorry to see Joe Kent resign because he seems very qualified. If he was and is having a rush of conscience I applaud him and welcome him to the ranks of the patriots.
There, by the way is a very viable strategy for a winning defense. He and his attorneys simply expose the corruption that motivated his whistleblowing and the case dies.
It is better to be a patriot rather than a prisoner.
