First ICE destroys the only reality Wael Tarabishi understood, he dies, and his caregiver father is denied time at his final resting place. What has happened to the United States of America? This one hurts all the more for the simple joyful life this father and son shared only to be destroyed for what reason? They harmed no one.
This level of inhumanity is the same as witnessed during the pandemic of 2020-21. People died for no reason. They were exposed to a virus in complete denial of its deadly potential. People were encouraged to disbelieve the danger of COVID-19 in the face of the largest death toll on Earth.
These people don’t know God. They believe they are God.
Asylum was required in this case for the intricacies of the relationship. There was absolutely no grounds for the detention of Maher Tarabishi. He automatically was excused from arrest for being a sole caregiver of another human life. ICE had to go out of the way to bring this depth of cruelty to reality.
The inhumanity is the same as before. They do not value human life.
Each day is worse than the day before.
It is unconscionable to believe the American people are going to give up their morality in the face of such blatant disregard for human life.
This is heartbreaking. This is not us.
