Letitia James is African American. There is no legal basis for the operations of Bondi’s DOJ. This administration loves playing with themselves.
Don Lemon is a high profile case. Trump is trying to intimidate a nation of people that know better. In Trump’s Court he is “the only one who can.” Trump is convinced he can get away with anything if it is played right. Let me provide an example.
My purpose is not to predict how the Supreme Court will rule, but, to illustrate the strategy/tactics against the USA Constitution. I remind Trump is not interested in abiding by the Constitution unless it permits his worst instincts. But, where the Constitution does not allow Trump to succeed he simple tells Bondi to proceed and break the law.
There was an argument before the court and Justice Gorsuch stood out from the others with clarity.

Basically, the lawyer paid to play with the verbiage of the USA Constitution reached back into the history of the country and the history of the court to bring about more and more control of the aspects of freedom.
“You don’t have to go that far.”
“I know I don’t have to go that far.”
I found this exchange rather arrogant on the side of the lawyer. He is attempting to bring outdated law/decisions to bear to create an argument. I think this is learned behavior not of an education or practice but the tactics of Project 2025.
All to frequently bad lawyering comes out of Bondi’s DOJ. There is the problem with Bondi’s DOJ of allowing completely unqualified people to sit in seats of power without care or concern to the circus she is creating.
Lindsey Halligan (whom until now) has not warranted attention, but, she is hapless. Feckless is a great word. Bondi never listened to the judge in regard to Halligan’s placement AND continued loyalty to keeping her as a lawyer in the DOJ. The judge had to follow up after ruling in Comey’s favor in order to have Bondi comply with the gross injustice of her department.
The problem here was spelled out by another judge (I don’t keep track of their names as there are so many, perhaps I should, but, who knew) that the Trump Cabinet are puppets on strings in their roles in the Executive Branch. The judge clearly described a hugely dysfunctional presidential cabinet controlled by Donald John Trump as if he knows all and directs all. Bondi in realizing her real role as Attorney General is engaged in gross malpractice. And she doesn’t stop when the judiciary points to her follies. She just looks for verbiage to continue the same folly.
The Congress doesn’t act on this Executive Branch and who knows why. There is issue after issue of over reach, abuse of power, and quite frankly anarchy. People are dying of extrajudicial decisions, the military is stealing Venezuelan petroleum. The military is so far out of bounds it is astounding to realize there is no action to contain Trump’s ideology in regard to the War Powers Act. Trump has assaulted the country’s alliances with impunity.
WHAT THE HELL?
Americans are supposed to like and admire raw power as greatness? Bullshit, we created that power over centuries and it is being abused and causing immeasurable harm.
The problem Don Lemon is having is just more of the same feckless administration with no oversight because the election of 2024 was bought by Musk.
Every human being adversely effected by the Trump Administration at any level should be filing lawsuit after lawsuit of the individual members that COOPERATE with a dictatorial administration and practices lawless agendas AS CRIMINALS in a path of greed that serves the worst instincts of the powerful and results in illness, death, and irreparable harm to livelihoods and professions.
Trump is ruling his cabinet as a spoiled brat allowed to treat this country with gross disrespect and misdirection.
