Cute. Putin is stating he takes back everything he said about a peace deal. NATO needs to prepare for conflict with third world Russia and its mercenary armies that never get a chance to collect their first paycheck.
To return to Trump’s war on boats; with a toe hold in Venezuela why does anyone suppose it was important to bring Balsanaro to the USA seeking asylum? Then he pardons Hernandez. Hello?

Oh, cute. Trump is adding a new chief architect to the East Wing demolition. He isn’t firing anyone. That would be admitting he screwed up. There could be real world reason why his buildings ended up in bankruptcy.
Americans need to consider building a new presidential residence somewhere else because it is going to take a long time to reconstruct this one. It will be unfair to put the next First Family through all that.
But, I am turning now to Alaska.
There was a vote today regarding a plot of land of the Alaskan coastal plain. Here we go with petroleum again.
There is a segment of land named “1001” or talked about as “ten oh one.”

I have never heard a former president defamed on the Senate floor as much as Former President Biden was today. Any why? Because Lisa Murkowski couldn’t get her way with Joe to exploit endangered species habitat to benefit the petroleum industry profits.
Now, mind you Murkowski, who I consider to be a fairly level headed Senator, stated they had done ALL the environmental studies and there was no reason for then President Biden to get in the way of Alaskan energy.
And this is the sad part. Murkowski’s environmental studies left out one very important environmental FACT; the climate crisis. Former President Biden was not having cognition problems, he was standing on solid moral grounds and if anyone wants to challenge that fact I suggest taking it up with the Vatican.
There is no reason to drill in Alaska except for the wealthy people on the dole from the industry and the Alaskan authorities. Oh yeah, there is the money to get elected, too. Croney money.
Think about this for a minute. The Alaskan Pipeline is enormous. Our allies drilled there at one time. Yes, for profits, but, the north shore dried up.
Air pollution, heat exposure, wildfires, and disease all come from the climate crisis that claims more than 500,000 human beings a year. A YEAR. Yes. Disease. Ever hear of the New World Screwworm? It had migrated into Texas and why? Because things in Texas are now a happy place for this pest due to global warming.
The climate crisis and its greenhouse gas pollution is a huge moral issue and Republicans choke on the words, climate crisis. You won’t hear one of them say it. Exploding Smokey Mountains or not, there is no vocabulary for such events that aren’t explained away by ancient political rhetoric.
So, while the Republicans and their cronies spent a lot of money to prove their activities in Sector “ten oh one,” won’t cause problems for the fishing industry it says nothing about the migrated fish north from the equator now calling higher latitudes home because of hot ocean waters. Republicans will never admit there is volumes and volumes of research that OUR OWN AGENCIES have carried out supporting the climate crisis FACTS and the need for RESPONSIBLE GOVERNMENT.
