“No King” rallies are peaceful protesters protecting their constitutional rights. The situation becomes confrontational AFTER the National Guard is deployed.
It is called oppression practiced regularly as an expression of Executive Power in State and now federal government. The POWER to deploy the National Guard needs to be revisited because the Red State Governors use it as a tool of politics. There must be costs associated with this abuse of power.
This is not the first time Abbot is inappropriate in his expression of power. This is political expression as an unwillingness to accept the freedoms of the First Amendment, not a sincere emergency, just the creation of one with confrontation.
