Localized flooding (click here) is expected to continue across portions of northern Michigan. Watch for flooded roadways: turn around don't drown.
There are some major rivers in the areas that are black. But, the high water areas appear to be different from any of the major rivers. It is basically local flooding.
Michigan may want to ask the US Army Corp. to take a look at this mess. The Great Lakes have been extremely high on any one day this year. There are times they are at flood stage with fluctuations of 12 inches a day when large ships are on the lakes. I really think the Governor needs an ally in the US Army Corp. With higher lake levels that raises the water table.
