Look, this is part of the job. There is no excuse.
My first thought is, where was Putin? My second is, what has the trip turned into a shopping spree in Paris? This is astounding. I cannot believe the USA was not represented at those graves sites.
Trump is a disgrace. I am also concerned about the alternate reality that he sequesters Americans away from the mainstream media. He says things such as, "You'll see everyone will eventually come on board." (Meaning he is expecting his separate media world will be viewed as the correct America.) What the Americans now rejecting the mainstream media as Fake News doesn't realize is they are being CAPTURED for Trump's future plans after he is out of the White House. Not to say he isn't interested in creating a dictatorship and new royalty for the USA, but, if that doesn't happen, his alternate plans will do.
The article states he was in Trump was in his room watching television. Where was Putin and where was Trump's phone?
I would like to know the reflections of General Kelly. His point of view is the only one worthy of knowing.

...Early Saturday, (click here) the White House announced Trump and the first lady had scuttled plans, due to bad weather, for their first stop in the weekend’s remembrance activities — a visit to the solemn Aisne Marne American Cemetery, marking the ferocious Battle of Belleau Wood.
It was not completely clear why the Trumps were unable to attend. The cemetery is 50 miles from Paris. Perhaps the president was planning to travel on Marine One, which is occasionally grounded by the Secret Service....
