This looks like Common Dolphin.
Photographer states :: Having fun with the dolphins this weekend on a Whale watching tour in Avalon, CA. There were hundreds and hundreds of dolphins to view, but sadly, no grey whales for viewing. ~ This little girl here had her pup behind her for this shot.
