October 6, 2005. Negotiating Rush Hour is not a new task for this elephant. The beautiful elephant is massive. The stepping out is made with large steps. Realizing the length of stride this animal can take it is easy to realize how quickly they can move in the wild. An elephant is a bit pre-historic. Their leg leads into a shoulder that takes up nearly the entire front half of it's body. They have great memories and bond as a family would. They organize their family structure along maternal lines in the wild. I am sure that natural instinct is accomodated by the circus who have happy and healthy performers. Posted by Picasa
