August 16, 2005. Emotions run high at Gaza. One might note 'the lady' is the only one screaming and getting attention while surrounded by the Israeli Defense Force. I am sure it's a media circus as well. The setters are passionate people about their beliefs. They wouldn't be in settlements as pioneers for any other reason. One has to remember these families are leaving behind the place where children were killed by Palestinian extremists. The settlements have a history of violence. The settlers suffered substantial hardship. This time the hardship to many seem more devastating than anything else they have had to face. Eventually, Israel will have to supplement the settlers losses regardless of their resistance. This is Neve Dekalim, the hub of resistance at this time. It's a well established town actually.
