The National Weather Service (click here) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Benton and Washington counties.
The advisory is in effect until 10:00 p.m. tonight.
Precipitation has begun to transition to snow across portions of Northwest Arkansas. Areas of snow will continue into the afternoon hours before ending by late afternoon.
1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation will be possible.
Roads in the advisory area may become slick and hazardous, especially on bridges and overpasses and non-treated surfaces.
