Toyota Recalling 150,000 Tacoma Pickups (click here)

12:18 p.m. | Updated Toyota is recalling about 150,000 2001-4 Tacoma (That was 2001 through 2004) pickups to fix a rust problem that could allow the spare tire to fall from beneath the vehicle, according to a report from the automaker posted on the Web site of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Toyota told the safety agency that part of the mechanism that holds the tire was not properly treated with an anti-corrosive. That means it could rust, break and allow the tire to fall. On the Tacoma, the spare tire is carried beneath the pickup’s bed....
Yep.
Toyota never bothered to fix the problem even after the first set of major substandard mistakes.
Oh and that is not all. The Toyota Four Runner is having the same darn problem, only Toyota won't have anything to do with that. They still ignore the claims by owners of the Four Runner.
