September 14, 2005. This is the water vapor satellite showing all the dynamics below but in higher resolution. What shows up here is a 'vortice phenomena' manifesting off the 'V' shaped air masses over Western Canada and the USA. The system of the western side of this satellite has low infrared dynamics and reminds me of occassional vortex phenomena that occur in the Arctic. It must be a cold air masse. The North Pacific Vortex is noted. I'll find the satellite picture of the vortice phenomena this reminds me of and I'll post it above.
