I read where Jared Kushner, Trump's best advisor, is no longer handling Middle East peace. Who is?

Jared, the president's son-in-law, now has construction duties along the southern border of the USA. Really? It must be difficult to carry out that idea from the White House. I would think a supervisor of the project would be along the southern USA border listening to the citizens there.
