Oklahoma City — Oklahoma has joined a dozen other states (click here) in a lawsuit challenging federal regulations for methane emissions from new equipment at oil and natural gas sites.
Attorney General Scott Pruitt joined the effort Tuesday led by West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey. The rules are part of the Obama administration’s goal to cut methane emissions from the oil and gas industry more than 40 percent from 2012 levels by 2025....
They are lucky it is ONLY forty percent by 2025. It should be 100 percent and it should be ALL oil and gas wells and not just THE NEW ONES!!!!!!!!!
Methane is a greenhouse gas that is 25 times more potent than carbon dioxide in the atmosphere....
