The USA White Nationalists are nothing more than a political icon of the south that is a remnant of the civil war. They lost the war.
They are no particular ethnicity and carry no protections for freedom of speech. Their demonstrations promulgate hate. Even the USA media is not permitted to promulgate hate.
Hate speech is speech which attacks a person or group on the basis of attributes such as race, religion, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, disability, or gender. In the law of some countries, hate speech is described as speech, gesture or conduct, writing, or display which is forbidden because it incites violence or prejudicial action against or by a protected group, or individual on the basis of their membership of the group, or because it disparages or intimidates a protected group, or individual on the basis of their membership of the group.
White Nationalists exist in the USA for political purposes based in false promises that their particular skin color will only exist in the USA. It is the base of the USA Republican Party and it should never have been tolerated in the first place.
USA White Nationalists do not seek rights, they seek to remove rights from others and as of the repeal of the Voting Rights Act or making it empty of purpose and power they are succeeding in causing hardship and reduction of quality of life of Americans. The actions of the Republican Party is racist. I dare anyone to state otherwise. When was the last act of civil rights by the Republican Party?
White Nationalists have to be the longest lived dead-enders in the history of the world.

White Nationalism is just wrong. The demonstrations, as far as I am concerned, are hate crimes.
Demonstrations that exhibit hate are hate crimes. It isn't freedom of speech. The demonstrators want oppression, not freedom, so, what the heck let's give them every opportunity to spread the word of hate.
It is an expression of hate in a country where diversity has been valued from the beginning of the country. The civil war is over. The remnants are not welcome here anymore. These people that hate have now become a subversive force with members in the White House and Congress. It is just "W"rong.

My sincerest sympathies to family and friends of the woman that died via auto. I expect the other victims to fully recover. How many people have now died in the civil rights movement in the USA? The total has now increased by one.
The confrontations are new, but, we saw them at Berkley, too. There is a subversive movement in the USA and it is done for the sake of the First Amendment. We should be ashamed we tolerate such expressions of hate.

After the rally at a city park was dispersed, a car plowed into a crowd near the city’s downtown mall, killing a 32-year-old woman, Police Chief Al Thomas, said. Some 34 were injured; at least 19 in the car crash, according to a spokeswoman for the University of Virginia Medical Center.
The authorities did not immediately say whether the episode was related to the white nationalists’ demonstration, but several witnesses and video of the scene suggested that it might have been intentional. Chief Thomas said that a suspect had been taken into custody and that police were treating the episode as a criminal homicide.
Witnesses said a crowd of counterdemonstrators, jubilant because the white nationalists had left, was moving up Fourth Street, near the mall, when a gray sports car came down the road and accelerated, mowing down several people and hurling at least two in the air....

White nationalists and counter-protesters (click here) are expected to flood downtown Charlottesville Saturday as the Virginia city braces for the "Unite the Right" rally.
By noon, thousands are expected to gather in Emancipation Park, where barricades have been placed in proximity to the statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.
The rally comes hours after a large group of torch-bearing white nationalists marched through the University of Virginia campus Friday night....
Then there is this wacko election in Alabama to replace what's his name, AG, Sessions. There are three Republican candidates running for the nomination and they are all these right wing extremist white men. All of them. There are at least 50 percent women in Alabama, most of them white and there are at least 30 percent minorities, but, the Alt Right rather their white guys.
LIBERAL BIAS! Liberal bias is everything other than hate. Remember now, God is the path. So is the Alt-Right's god full of hate? Why do Black churches burn?

But there is another reason that the alt-right’s opposition campaign appeared so quickly, with such well-practiced maneuvers.
For the last several months, far-right activists have mounted an aggressive political campaign against some of Silicon Valley’s biggest players. Extending their attacks beyond social networks like Facebook and Twitter, tech’s typical free-speech battlegrounds, they have accused a long list of companies, including Airbnb, PayPal and Patreon, of censoring right-wing views, and have pledged to expose Silicon Valley for what they say is a pervasive, industrywide liberal bias....
The biggest joke going is North Carolina's unemployment handouts that emphasize becoming drivers for Uber. Has everyone seen the average car in North Carolina? Hello? Would you get in it in fear it wouldn't make it to the destination?
...I fully intend (click here) to comply by all legal rules while filing for unemployment, so I understand that I have to report all part-time and self-employment income each week that I file. I also understand that this would likely reduce my unemployment benefit.
But here's the question: If I am legally self-employed with Uber while filing for unemployment, do I report my GROSS income from Uber, or my NET income after deducting expenses? And would I deduct actual expenses, or the much larger standard mileage discount?
(My state's unemployment web site does an extremely poor job of addressing this, and the phone number is voice-prompt hell.)...
Now, remember, people on unemployment have to report the places they look for work. Really? "Let's see, do I drive this next ride or go to that interview? I'll make money if I do the ride, but, I need one more place of employment for my reporting. Ah, heck, I need the ride to buy gas anyway to keep goin' on Uber. I probably won't get that job. I'll find another place to make application for my reporting instead. Wait a minute, will that put my mileage over the warranty I bought?"
There are few to none independent taxi drivers left in NC. The highest paid taxi driver in NC is in Winston-Salem with a salary of $32,712 per year. I suppose if a household has two drivers in a family they may be able to buy a house for their many children.
The biggest talk around town in the south is how to set aside enough land to atrract car makers to create jobs. What the south doesn't realize is, it takes a high school education to fill out the job application.
"The South Shall Rise Again." A person could really pity them if they weren't so full of hate. No mercy. This is the base of the Alt Right/All White.
The Alt Right in this video are Alt Right for generations, past and future. How many of these people have a marketable education? There are profound reasons companies do not locate in the south OR stay in the south. It is the people. There are few long term employers with stable product bases. The richer southerners with politicians in their pocket don't want the competition either. The richer (not wealthy) southern folks think having poor people with god in their heart is preferable than any other lifestyle. There is a reason why the soutern USA states are the largest recipients to the federal dollar and it isn't because they are empulating the values of New Jersey or it's Governor.
"We rather go without then give up our cultural values." Even if they are a drag on the USA's economy and standing in the world. Making "Trump Deals" for these folks is easy, just promise to get rid of every regulation that ever existed, including tort laws. The problem is even after the "Trump Violation of American Values Deals" there still aren't qualified employees among the natives. Trump is going to be looking for immigrants and/or transplants from other states, but, at least the state GDP will improve even if the people's lives don't.
There are no lazy Americans, there are "Trapped Americans." They all need health care to live a normal longevity. If they start to feel well without drug and/or alcohol and/or 'fat food' dependency they might even want an education with a desire for a quality of life no one in their families have had before.
Much credit to the southern African American community that works very hard to raise all boats and bring some of the most profound impoverished wellness and quality of life. Their churches are phenomenal centers of instilling the desire for clean living and improvement of life's definition. Prospective employers should begin their search for employees with the minority communities of the south, they are phenomenal.

Land use is the one place any country can examine where land use can be improved to grow larger carbon sinks.
11 April 2014, Rome (click here) - New FAO estimates of greenhouse gas data show that emissions from agriculture, forestry and fisheries have nearly doubled over the past fifty years and could increase an additional 30 percent by 2050, without greater efforts to reduce them....
...Meanwhile, net GHG emissions due to land use change and deforestation registered a nearly 10 percent decrease over the 2001-2010 period, averaging some 3 billion tonnes CO2 eq/yr over the decade. This was the result of reduced levels of deforestation and increases in the amount of atmospheric carbon being sequestered in many countries....
...Averaged over the 2001-2010 period, agriculture, forestry and other land uses (AFOLU) emissions break down as follows:
5 billion tonnes CO2 eq/yr from crop and livestock production
4 billion tonnes CO2 eq/yr due to net forest conversion to other lands (a proxy for deforestation)
1 billion tonnes CO2 eq/yr from degraded peatlands
0.2 billion tonnes CO2 eq/yr by biomass fires
In addition to these emissions, some two billion tonnes CO2 eq/yr were removed from the atmosphere during the same time frame as a result of carbon sequestration in forest sinks....
...The largest source of GHG emissions within agriculture is enteric fermentation - when methane is produced by livestock during digestion and released via belches - this accounted in 2011 for 39 percent of the sector's total GHG outputs. Emissions from enteric fermentation increased 11 percent between 2001 and 2011.
Emissions generated during the application of synthetic fertilizers accounted for 13 percent of agricultural emissions (725 Mt CO2 eq.) in 2011, and are the fastest growing emissions source in agriculture, having increased some 37 percent since 2001.
Greenhouse gases resulting from biological processes in rice paddies that generate methane make up 10 percent of total agricultural emissions, while the burning of savannahs accounts for 5 percent.
In 2011, 44 percent of agriculture-related GHG outputs occurred in Asia, followed by the Americas (25%), Africa (15%), Europe (12%), and Oceania (4%), according to FAO's data. This regional distribution was fairly constant over the last decade. In 1990 however, Asia's contribution to the global total (38%) was smaller than at present, while Europe's was much larger (21%)....

Saudi Arabian security forces (click here) have foiled a terror plot targeting the Grand Mosque in the Muslim holy city of Mecca, exchanging gunfire with one of the suspects who blew himself up inside a home on Friday, the interior ministry said.
The ministry described the plot as part of “self-serving schemes managed from abroad”.
Five people, including a woman, were arrested in security operations in Mecca, the Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya news website said, citing interior ministry security spokesman Mansour al-Turki.
Five security force members and six other people were injured, the report said.
Turki said police “foiled the terrorist plan that targeted the security of the Grand Mosque, pilgrims and worshippers”....
Interestingly, as all this surveillance of religious extremists continues, the countries of the region are focused on Qatar to instill changes in their governance.

Saudi Arabia and its allies (click here) issued a threatening 13-point ultimatum to Qatar as the price for lifting a two-week trade and diplomatic embargo of the country, in a marked escalation of the Gulf’s worst diplomatic dispute in decades.
The onerous list of demands includes stipulations that Doha close the broadcaster al-Jazeera, drastically scale back cooperation with Iran, remove Turkish troops from Qatar’s soil, end contact with groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and submit to monthly external compliance checks. Qatar has been given 10 days to comply with the demands or face unspecified consequences....
It will be much better quality of life for all the people in these countries if their national security measures are on the same page. I think Qatar realizes that and accepts the agenda of its neighbors. All this without Steve Bannon's influence in USA national security. Amazing.

The USA has no history of using a nuclear arsenal as a first strike weapon.
There have only been two uses of a nuclear arsenal in the history of the world and that was by the USA, BUT, they were last ditch efforts, not first strike capacity.

Last night on "All In," Chris Hayes had Congressman Ted Lieu speak about that very subject. There is currently a bill sponsored by Congressman Lieu and Senator Markey to limit the power of the US President when it comes to a nuclear first strike.
This was submitted three days after Donald Trump took office. The Congressmen saw the evil potential then.

Markey (D-Massachusetts) introduced H.R. 669 and S. 200, the Restricting First Use of Nuclear Weapons Act of 2017. This legislation would prohibit the President from launching a nuclear first strike without a declaration of war by Congress. The crucial issue of nuclear “first use” is more urgent than ever now that President Donald Trump has the power to launch a nuclear war at a moment’s notice....
Such a bill has little chance of passing the US House or US Senate without diplomacy that brings all nuclear nations to the same common initiative. It is, however, a very brave and appropriate step to nonproliferation. If countries were restricted from using nuclear weapons as a first strike capacity there would be far less importance placed on them.
I believe this initative is best addressed by the United Nations.

The crucial issue of nuclear “first use” is more urgent than ever now that President Donald Trump has the power to launch a nuclear war at a moment’s notice....
Such a bill has little chance of passing the US House or US Senate without diplomacy that brings all nuclear nations to the same common initiative. It is, however, a very brave and appropriate step to nonproliferation. If countries were restricted from using nuclear weapons as a first strike capacity there would be far less importance placed on them.
I believe this initative is best addressed by the United Nations.
China does not support a first nuclear strike by North Korea.
I think that is a very moral position by China. China is stating a great deal in that position regarding North Korea. It is willing to risk problems all that will manifest should North Korea enter into a nuclear war with the USA.
China will be besieged by refugees and the potential of a nuclear strike near it's borders. There is also the danger of nuclear poison falling into the oceans and fisheries it has bought from North Korea. North Korea no longer values many things, including those fisheries.
China is correct in standing down from assisting North Korea in any way if it declares a first strike against Guam. But, in the same regard, the USA cannot be careless and should be sensitive to China in any retaliation. I thank China for it's consideration in supporting the moral decisions in such circumstances. Nuclear weapons are a plague on the world and China's decisions are thoughtful and correct.

Beijing — China won’t come to North Korea’s help (click here) if it launches missiles threatening U.S. soil and there is retaliation, a state-owned newspaper warned on Friday, but it would intervene if Washington strikes first.
The Global Times newspaper is not an official mouthpiece of the Communist Party, but in this case its editorial probably does reflect government policy, experts said.
China has repeatedly warned both Washington and Pyongyang not to do anything that raises tensions or causes instability on the Korean Peninsula, and strongly reiterated that idea Friday.
“The current situation on the Korean Peninsula is complicated and sensitive,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said in a statement....

Houston Rep. Shawn Thierry noted in a press release circulated the day after Gov. Greg Abbott set the agenda for the special legislative session starting July 18, 2017, that Abbott authorized maternal mortality as a potential topic after Thierry and Sen. Lois Kolkhorst, R-Brenham, had urged him to do so.
Thierry said: "It was clear that a special session was going to happen and we now know that our Texas mothers are dying during childbirth at the highest rates in the nation. This time around, we cannot afford for party politics to stand in the way of resolving this crisis."
Abbott included "extending maternal mortality task force" in his session "call," he said, to allow lawmakers to maintain the state’s advisory Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Task Force into 2023. The group, created by the 2013 Legislature, is otherwise abolished as of September 2019....
Michelle died of a blood in her leg that traveled to her lung. Fragments probably traveled to other areas of her body that caused her death.

Abortion options need to be returned to women in Texas. More than likely, a woman with an abortion has a healthier post procedure uterus than one that delivered a baby.
Texas has no respect for the intricacies of a woman's body, life or choices. What support is provided to the families with deceased mothers?

Doctors, nurses, researchers and state lawmakers (click here) are investigating a mystery -- why Texas women die after giving birth at a higher rate than anywhere else in the country.
"It's hard to remember details because I was pretty upset," said Chris Zavala, 39, when recounting what happened to his wife Michelle last month.

China (click here) will intervene if America attacks North Korea first, according to a state-owned paper, and will only stay neutral if Kim Jong-un attacks the US first.
An editorial in the Global Times, warned that "China should also make clear that if North Korea launches missiles that threaten US soil first and the US retaliates, China will stay neutral," the Daily Mail reported.
"If the US and South Korea carry out strikes and try to overthrow the North Korean regime and change the political pattern of the Korean Peninsula, China will prevent them from doing so."
China also expressed its "strong dissatisfaction" with the US Navy over its operations in the South China Sea.
The warning comes amid escalating tensions between the US and North Korea.
Pyongyang has warned it plans to launch a nuclear strike on Guam after President Trump announced that any more threats against the US would be met with "fire and fury"....

Russia in considering upgrading future T-14 main battle tnks (click here) to use the 2A83 152 mm gun instead of its current 2A82 125 mm gun. The 2A83 gun has a high-speed APFSDS shell with a 1,980 m/s muzzle velocity, only dropping to 1,900 m/s at 2 km.
However, Russian engineers have so far kept the 125 mm-size gun, assessing that improvements in ammunition could be enough to increase effectiveness, while concluding that a larger bore weapon would offer few practical advantage....
Think Ukraine.
The problem with miniaturized nuclear weapons goes far beyond North Korea. It is the state of play between countries that is reaching a fever pitch. North Korea is only part of it. NATO and Russia need to end their tensions and begin to rebuild peace into Europe and Asia. Donald Trump is useless in resolving the tensions in the world. Somewhere Trump spoke to Putin and made a blood pact between the two with the idea they could end nuclear proliferation and bring about peace. It's crazy. Trump is about money and Putin is about power. Who is being the fool?
Oh, by the way, Ukraine doesn't need ICBMs to defend itself. Think about it.
Russia really should appreciate peace and non-proliferation more than ever. Peace is to Russia's advantage. Nationalist politics is really not the way to go.

Houston — Exxon Mobil (click here) is pursuing a waiver from Treasury Department sanctions on Russia to drill in the Black Sea in a venture with Rosneft, the Russian state oil company, a former State Department official said on Wednesday. An oil industry official confirmed the account.
The waiver application was made under the Obama administration, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity, and the company has not dropped the proposal.
The proposal is now before the Trump administration at a delicate time in Russian-American relations, with rising tensions over the war in Syria and a looming congressional inquiry into reports of Russian efforts to influence the United States presidential election.
The appeal did not come up during Senate confirmation hearings for Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson, who was Exxon Mobil’s chief executive before his nomination by President Trump and was known to have a strong working relationship with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia. At the time, Mr. Tillerson and other company officials said they had not lobbied against the sanctions, which were imposed on Russia in response to its military intervention in Ukraine....

The decision, reinforcing barriers erected by the United States over Russia’s intervention in Ukraine, was another sign that President Trump has been unwilling or unable to improve relations with the Kremlin early in his term, after pledging as a candidate that he would seek a thaw.
“In consultation with President Donald J. Trump,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in a terse, prepared statement, “the Treasury Department will not be issuing waivers to U.S. companies, including Exxon, authorizing drilling prohibited by current Russian sanctions.”
The prospect of a waiver had drawn denunciations from both Democratic and Republican lawmakers. When news of Exxon Mobil’s proposal emerged this week, Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona, wrote in a Twitter post, “Are they crazy?”...

I would change lawyers if I was Paul Manafort, too. He is not the end of the investigation, there was an internet connection between banks in Russia and the Trump Organization during the time of sanctions by the Obama Administration.
With a grand jury in place, the indictments will be forthcoming.

The investigation of Russian meddling needs to realize their subjects might be in the sights of another group of interested parties.
Manafort was involved with Yanukovych. He is a very sensitive subject for Russia. I am impressed the FBI did as well as they did in entering his home. Well done. The information could not be in better hands. I would think Paul Manafort would breathe a sigh of relief to know records were no longer an issue for Russia.

To begin with, the American embassy anywhere in the world is sovereign territory. This is land consented to by Russia to conduct diplomatic relations and as a place where visiting Americans can find a friendly face. The Russian president ordered the USA to remove three-quarters of its staff. What is left, the security personnel and the Ambassador?
When a country becomes this hostile toward a diplomatic mission and diplomatic relations with the USA there is a more dangerous current within that demand. I don't see any Americans leaving Moscow. If Russia sees it differently it needs to make its case. The sanctions stand and their presence in the Ukraine is illegal by every measure of any diplomatic document that exists.
The American mission is beautiful. It respects Russian architecture. The Russian government needs to make its intentions known as to why the demands are being made to end the mission in Moscow.

Putin (click here) announced Sunday that the American diplomatic mission in Russia must reduce its staff by 755 employees, an aggressive response to new American sanctions that seemed ripped right from the Cold War playbook and sure to increase tensions between the two capitals.
In making the announcement, Mr. Putin said Russia had run out of patience waiting for relations with the United States to improve.
“We waited for quite a long time that, perhaps, something will change for the better, we held out hope that the situation would somehow change,” Mr. Putin said in an interview on state-run Rossiya 1 television, which published a Russian-language transcript on its website. “But, judging by everything, if it changes, it will not be soon.”
Mr. Putin said the staff reduction was meant to cause real discomfort for Washington and its representatives in Moscow....
