September 12, 2005. Halifax, Canada. Photographer states :: This obviously appears to be a funnel cloud. Picture One of 2. It's wierd because there was a small thunderstorm, and it was cold! Like only 6 or 7 degrees Celcius, or about 38-40 Fr. And from this small short lived storm came this funnel cloud. It only lasted about a minute or two and never did reach the ground, but i was shocked! Cool though!

I get a bit romantic about water vapor satellites.

Water is what allows life to exist on Earth. Surface water in the way of headwaters, brooks, streams, rivers, lakes, bays, fjords and oceans is where water comes in contact with the chemicals of Earth and the interaction is magical. Earth is a rock and without water it could never sustain life. So to love water in it's proper place on Earth is to love life.

People worship water all the time. I see it a lot in Wilmington. Beach goers, surf, swim, lie at it's edges for hours and hours in a culture that is COMPLETELY 'of self' in every way. Sun tans, strolling, skills with the surf with 'belly boards' or 'surf boards' or 'paragliding' is all about physcial competency mixed with emotions of excitement, danger and fearless pursuit.

If one has a chance to watch children with water they are fascinated by it. Part of the way we as humans learn about our Earth is by repeated exposure to it's physics in ways people don't even think about. With an infant it's a bath. Confusion at first, eventually setting down to a warm and soothing time out of the cradle or a parent's lap. As a child grows water becomes a toy, splashing. Splashing is a POWER. A parent cannot control a child from splashing. A child begins to feel power over their environment by extracting reaction from parents by splashing water EVERYWHERE !!!

So, I could on and on about couples and far away romantic places and what do they dream about? The beach. Water is used a great deal in religious rituals whether one believes or not there is still the 'splashing' quality that is life and sometimes the life after. To life, there is Christian Baptism. To death there is the Hindu Ganges. Water is everywhere in culture.

So, this is my water vapor today along the western hemisphere facing the east coast of North America. There is "Ophelia," the turbulence of the Pacific and the 'hurricane' over the Arctic Ocean.

I did a drive around to take a look at the periphery of the storm. over Wilmington and eastern NC. It's interesting.

The last 'True Hurricane' I was able to experience in it's duration was "Dennis" in 1999, our first year in Wilmington.

This time I have a different perspective as October 4, 2002, the year the vortices manifested, has brought a very overt understanding of the dynamics that accompany Earth Heating under a human induced carbon dioxide blanket which is regional in many ways and not necessarily global.

The cloud patterns I witnessed today have exact likeness to what I coined as "Heat Transfer Systems" that travel from the equator to the Arctic Circle on any given day in these dynamics.

And why should it not?

These are 'eddied storms' off an Arctic Ocean Vortex that carries the same 'purpose' as the 'Heat Transfer System' clouds will deliver the same results, but, by different methods. The 'streams of heat' transfer heat to the Arctic Ocean resulting in sublimination of the ice from the air. The 'eddies' are an accelerated mechanisms that rapidly deliver heat to the oceans resulting in 'melitng' of the ice from underneath.

The only difference with these storms is that they are concentrated convection systems. So regardless of 'streams' of heat or 'eddies' of heat the purpose and mechanisms seem identical. The eddies are far more ferocious and deadly because they have high energy (heat calories) that drive them, but, in the long run these systems no matter their manifestation will be the end to biotic Earth.

The country is lead by Fundamentalist Incompetents who have created lies and deceptions invading a country, namely Iraq, for it's oil assets. The invasion has not really panned out because the people of Iraq, lead by a Sunni Resistance Movement, truly object to the presence of Americans in their country. Violence within Iraq has persisted from the initial anarchy and show no signs of relenting.

The USA is cannabalizing it's own natural resources in an attempt to 'stay the course' with Bush Cronies rather than mobilizing state of the art technologies to define it's energy and transportation needs.

Afghanistan is still the primary source of Poppies in the world and the violence within Afghanistan continues spinning off warlords such as the Ubeck that funded the Uzbecks who attacked Beslan, Russia. The former Soviet Satellites, such as The Ukraine, have attempted to achieve 'democracy' in free elections but those attempts are failing (Due to the lack of substantial investments in their new infrastruture. Basically, all these so - called democracies are left to fend for themselves and can't do it. The USA has a long and rather proud history of investing in burgeoning freedom but this administration cannot afford it and doesn't believe in social programs abroad. Bush is failing at his own priorities). To some extent Russia's initiatives to maximize global stability regardless of Bush's Global Lawlessness (Creating chaos increases the possibilty of insurgency within a nation. If that should happen in a nation such as Georgia which has oil/gas assets it would be advantageous to Halliburton for the USA to take an aggressive stand for invasion to 'STABILIZE' the situation. It's a strategy. It kills citizens of that country. It creates a possiblity for a change in government but as Iraq as an example it isn't a good strategy.) has been twarted but it would appear not for long.

Basically, Osama bin Laden has gotten away with it while the USA spins on it own axis of evil uncontrollably due to an administration that maintains control by using Osama bin Laden as an icon of fear.

University of Toledo president Dan Johnson says an attack on a campus peace display is "inexcusable."

Campus police are investigating vandalism done to most of the 2,000 white wooden tombstones put up by peace groups to symbolize deaths of U.S. soldiers in Iraq and the human cost of the war.

Thursday morning, organizers found many of the markers had been pulled out of the ground on grassy areas near University Hall and Memorial Field House. A few had been broken in half.

Larry Coleman was supposed to be working yesterday morning.

Instead, the University of Toledo professor helped reset 1,800 to 1,900 white wooden tombstones, each representing a U.S. soldier who died in Iraq or Afghanistan, that were vandalized overnight at the UT campus.\

“We think the people who knocked these down are dishonoring these people’s lives,” said Mr. Coleman, a member of the Northwest Ohio Peace Coalition. “I don’t want to think it was done maliciously, but I suspect it was.”

About 30 coalition members and other organizers of the “Arlington Midwest” and “Bring Them Home Now” bus tour — held last night and today at the university — erected the 2,000-piece display Wednesday in grassy areas near University Hall and Memorial Field House.

Katrina - What happened to my nation? What happened to my life?

I sound like a broken record, but, it has been decades that scientists have spoken about Global Warming. The Greenhouse Effect. How the icefields have degraded and the ice caps are fading.

Decades. During that time the majority influence has been Republican. The influence was mostly in balance between the Executive Branch, Congress, Senate and the Courts. Politics was politics over that time and while one party had better ideas than another there was no chance the sovereignty of this nation was an issue as it is with the Bush White House.

The USA Dollar has never been in worse condition and while there was hope there would be a bounce back over the last half year or so, a slowing of the growing debt, a slight chance there would be a little more income; Bush could not help himself by leaping to the forefront and demanding the 'RESPENDING' of any available income to continue what he sees as a phenomina when all it is amounts to windfall profits by corporations that have had their treasuries padded with government monies and contracts. Here again, rather than preparedness, Bush sets the USA for more vulnerability and seeks to trash the dollar more with increased debit RATHER THAN "A Rainy Day Fund."

What? The USA needs a "Rainy Day Fund?" Hogwash. The USA is the wealthiest country in the world we can do as we please. It would seem to be the case when government policies are built on lies and the administration gets away with those lies with no backlash selling the USA treasury and it's taxpayers to their no bid buddies. In the case of Katrina, rather than federal dollars going to a trust for New Orleans to hire their own "BID FOR" contracts they are AGAIN going to Bush's Inner and Corrupt Circle. Where does this insanity ever end?

New Orleans is a city. It is a city in a state of this country. It has it's own laws and rules for obtaining contracts that fulfill standards of construction. The companies that come to New Orleans should be approved by the Mayor and Council and not forced down their throats by Bush's invasion and occupation into Iraq. The disrespect for a minority mayor and a female governor by the federal government is just astounding. When the state and local governments of these storm tossed areas of the USA should be looking for an infusion of income back to their treasuries with rebuilding and the hiring of displaced persons from the Parish of Orleans they are instead faced with clean up and rebuilding efforts as if occupied by the Bush/Cheney Invasion. It's unconstitutional. New Orleans will have to take those companies to court to stop the ravages of monies intended for the reconstruction that should be going to companies the City of New Orleans have long trusted and know it and how it grew. This is outrage.

But, somehow, Bush/Cheney and the money machine that is a predator for them know that people will be outraged, but so what, they are only words. And only words they are. For days we were outraged and for days were heard how help was coming and for days never did. We then witnessed Bush in a presiden't huddle in Mississippi for photo ops. What? People were still going crazy, still hungry, families still split apart and the streets of a great city are running with oil, chemicals and feces. Huddling for a photo op? What kind of insanity is that? People will actually applaud him, them? Really? They should consider themselves lucky for not facing a firing squad as far as I am concerned. I must be living my life wrong. Rather than realizing the huge disregard that exists in DC these days for citizen lives we need to live with what is and find a way to 'be a part of it' rather than standing in judgement of it.

The Democrats have never been in a better position to take a leadership role to straighten out the disaster called post Katrina USA and what do I hear from the media nearly at every turn, dissing of every Democrat who dare speak a word against an administration that has just wiped out a city of the south while killing yet an untold number of citizens. The country should be in outrage and all that is said is 'sympathy?'

Something is drastically wrong and news networks all over the country are reporting that 'girls are wearing pink and cooking meals for soldiers while boys are wearing blue and fly missions over New Orleans to find survivors." It's nuts. Cher gets on NewsNight, freshly named "Anderson Cooper Still without Disease," and pours herself into a PR blitz that sounds like Donna Reed with a new identity. The GIs were being served hot meals? Volunteer cantinas who hoped to be serving evacuees who needed someone to 'care' were replaced by National Guard troops stating "This is great, we have been eating MRE's for a week now." This is sanity? Because the next cut away of Anderson, who is starting to look as though he is from Biafra himself, is of another volunteer who states this is an MRE and this is what the evacuees will be eating for the next month in this shelter. Let me get this right. GIs eat hot meals prepared by people who want to feel good about this disaster played out over news services 24-7 and the evacuees, mostly black, are to feel good about receiving MREs for the rest of their lives.

What is wrong with this picture?

One can tell the people who have nothing more to do with their lives but watch 'feel good' TV as every expert and especially those that aren't tell how they can make a difference. Truly. They can get that 'feel good about yourself' feeling if only "Charlie, can you spare a dime? Or leave your way of life to find a homeless New Orleans person while taking their hand and finding the first news network camera you can find while saying "Hi, Mom."

The entire picture of this disaster has shifted from responsibilty to 'what gets ratings' in a way that relieves the government of any wrong doing. The man most responsible on most people's lips is that of the Bad Attitude Black Man that left those people there to drown when he knew better. The concensus is building and what is to stop the next lynch mob of news media blitz from publically hanging Democrats in the Gulf Coast States for the sake of the party. At a time in the USA when "Mississippi Burning" finds bail rather than jail it is only a quandry to realize there is no such thing as justice left in this country so much as enforcing the 'status quo' as long as the status quo looks like the bigoted south.

The people most responsible for the disaster that brought Katrina are George Walker Bush and Dick Cheney. Where is Georgie by the way? Making speeches that Jordan is laughing at as well.

And where is Iraq in all this? Gone? Forever? Are we finally pullling out of that horrid war without reason, forever?

No.

They are once again pulling a 'Fallujah' and killing Iraqis at will.

But, alas, the USA is too frenzied once again to pay attention to the brutality of still another attempt to silence an insurgency at the cost of lives untold. Quote: Mohammad Rasheed, the mayor of Tal Afar states, "The operation is targeting Sunni neighborhoods. The problem cannot be solved with military operations. It should be done through negotiations and co-operations from Sunni and Shia tribes." I thought this was a democracy where opinons of elected officials count. I gues not.

And where is the figure head Iraqi government on all this? Receiving dignitaries who want to stop the insults leveled at Jordan and shore up an understanding of solidarity between the Arab nations. Really? It would seem the people of Tal Afar know nothing of solidarity but only of carnage.

Carnage, now there is a word. It a word to describe an administration in DC who allows it to occur at will while people dance in delight of feeling purpose in their lives as a distraction to realty sponsored by news agencies enthralled with the ratings and opportunity to bring people together under a Christian moniker to improve the voter base come 2006. It is a feed loop that the American people should be ashamed of when they should be focusing on replacing criminals with a responsible government.

The SHAME of this is that no one wants to deal with the reality their country has been destroyed by their government who has no clue to the responsibility it needs to carry out or the method to do it.

The SHAME of this country is it's unwillingness to take responsibility of the environment now called Global Warming while indulging pathetically in dumping dollars into a tragedy that could have been completely avoided. That's right completely avoided. Not just the evacation of the citizens of New Orleans. Or the shored up levees. But, Katrina itself would never have occurred if it were not fueled by an Arctic Ocean vortex with peripheral reach to the equator.

This is complete stupidity. Complete ignorance. Complete idocy in order to dismiss and live in denial of the dynamics of Earth that no one paid heed to four decades ago.

I am in complete disgust of this country.

A Call For "HELP"

A Call for the United Nations to send Observers to the USA Devastation Area

The body recovery to the Gulf Coast area is underway with much doubt being added daily to the 'competency' of the accounting. The Bush Administration does not want to be embarrassed and wishes to diminish the impact.

Last night on NewsNight there was a 'scenario' introduced stating 'numbers' at the beginning of an event of this magnitude can be more speculative than real. Tonight that theme was conveniently repeated. Propaganda. Very suspicious.

Today the USA government has moved against media organizations in court to prevent a video accounting of the removal of the dead. The media organization state they will seek to fend this off, but, as of recent this administration is jailing journalists in regard to an investigation regarding the outing of a CIA agent.

This administration is corrupt in it's practices. While the USA is believed to be the wealthiest country in the world, it's face is more that of a Third World country especially with it's escalating numbers of poor. There is no longer representative government in Washington, DC. There is however a regime that plays it's electorate along for favored status. Has the USA become much less than some of the most violent regimes invading other countries for their assets while neglecting their people at home? It might be considered in it's infancy, but, it's all true.

I hope there will not be a large number of dead, but, at the same instance I don't want bodies to be bulldozed along with towns to hide a correct body count. These people deserved to be indentified with proper burials.

I believe it is time for the United Nations to send Independant Observers as they did with the elections to areas now being cleared of the dead so everyone can have a clear conscience regarding this issue.

It is necessary with illegal and immoral governments to take a stand, it is clearly that time to view the 'morality' of this regime in DC in that light.
