I think Netanyahu saw a great deal of danger in trusting Waltz. Waltz, as most of Trump’s administration has no experience with the level of responsibility found in the federal government. When Netanyahu realized the peril faced by Israel he made friends with Waltz and probably mentored him. They prioritized Israel and devised a conversation surrounding Israel.
I believe Israel is always prepared for aggression by Iran. Was Waltz an exclusive, new plan with Netanyahu? Most probably not.
But, Netanyahu would prioritize the deportation of Palestinians at American universities and provide Israeli intelligence. The Venezuelan dreamscape was exclusively Trump’s and Putin.
