Putin needs to stop harassing Western Europe and the Black Sea and the Baltics. NATO is not going anywhere and it’s newest members are wonderful. Russia revealed itself as a very hostile country. That reality cannot be ignored. NATO countries do not want to live under Russian oppression and is more than evident today. Taking Trump as a POW won’t effect the USA’s commitment to freedom and countries that seek it. Quite frankly, Russia can keep Trump in Moscow and the USA would be all the happier. Trump and his administration are security risks.

Retired General Barry McCaffery has stated President Trump has seriously eroded the deterrents of Russian aggression in Europe. The Baltics and Poland are under active military threat by Russia. He also states Russian generals have been threatening Western Europe with nuclear weapons. Russian aircraft have been making hostile attacks on US naval vessels in the Black Sea and the Baltics. There were Russian mercenaries (supposedly deniability by Russia) in Syria that targeted USA troops. Those 200 Russians aren’t alive anymore.
The point is President Trump is embracing an actively hostile country, namely Russia, while calling NATO allies foes. There is a lot wrong with the Trump presidency in regard to Russia, NATO and USA national security. He is building walls and committing human rights abuses at the USA southern border while spurning NATO. Nothing is in balance. What don’t we know?

Illinois State Board of Elections was hacked by Russians in the 2016 presidential elections.
The Illinois legislature passed a bill to remove Illinois from the controversial multi-state voter registration system. Illinois Republican Governor Bruce Rauner vetoed the bill that would have secured Illinois from any danger by Russian hackers or other hackers as well.
Hopefully there is a veto proof majority in both Illinois houses. Illinois citizens need to form a concerned citizens group to sue the Governor.

Minority Leader Pelosi is an asset to the Democratic Party. Do Democratic US House members need a new leader? I doubt it.
There are ways to bring along a younger House Leader and perhaps Minority Leader Pelosi should bring the younger members of the Democratic House more to the forefront. There is no profit for Minority Leader Pelosi to put younger members in the background. Experience is important, but, House leadership has to be sensitive to the ambitions of new and younger members.
I also believe Minority Leader Pelosi is an excellent guard of American’s entitlement. She needs to realize younger members of the Democrat’s see the future of retirement differently. That is important and that needs a plank in the Party platform so it also protects entitlements they have already paid into. The Democratic leadership needs to bring interesting ideas of their younger members forward. The future belongs to them, there has to be room for the future in the Democratic platform and there needs to be a voice for their ambitions from among current and successful members.
There are a lot of topics the younger members bring to enhance the strong morality instilled by Minority Leader Pelosi. Those topics include college loans that should not burden Americans all their lives that can ultimately deprive them of SSI and Medicare benefits. Another issue is the support of excellence in teaching future generations. Also at issue is the southern border and the best way to govern it going forward, including clearer and appropriate work for ICE. ICE played a role in human rights violations along that southern border by removing children from their parents. I think the US House needs to pass legislation that clearly defines their jobs without human rights issues. There are health care troubles as well as the empowerment of women.

I will caution the idea that there is actually a remote case against these two well educated and practiced agents, in that the federal government had bled it’s finest professionals under the Trump presidency and the more the mistreatment of intelligence officers exist the fewer and fewer people will see these agencies as a career option.

Putin and Trump’s meeting - What no talk of Snowden or Assamge?
Putin interview:
Chris Wallace conducted an excellent interview. Mr. Wallace was very forthright and unafraid to ask the sensitive questions.
I think Mr. Putin thanked the lower level staff leading up to this meeting/summit to lecture Trump about how negotiations and meetings between countries take place.
Mr. Wallace mentioned the concept of “The Big Picture” that would cause such a meeting with Russia. After thanking his staff, Vladimir Putin turned to terrorism and Syria. I am not surprised President Putin believes terrorism is a huge issue even though The West is not overwhelmed by it. Places or better said countries that Russia deals with are more chaotic, more impoverished, lack significant organization of their government. That is also true of China. As a rule the USA allies are more sophisticated because the USA and its private sector invests in them and educates them and then helps them build an arsenal to protect their people and assists in intelligence for their national security and ultimately USA national security as well.
In the case of Russia, it finds itself among countries facing danger to their people and government that they are uncertain how to handle. The issue with terrorism still looms large with Putin because of Daesh. When the attacks from Daesh first occurred it was profound shock and astonishment this was occurring at all. The Iraq War had mostly wound down and while there were still issues such as death squads, but, the bigger picture of war was believed to be over. It was thought al Qarda was mostly defeated in the region except for some remnants in places like Libya. When Daesh manifested out of nowhere with a leader that came out of a USA war prison the region was fatigued by the Iraq invasion and war.
Daesh presented itself as a global threat to Muslim countries because its leader promised a Calaphate and the Charismatic Movement was born. In many of the countries targeted by the charasmatic Daesh the ability to handle such a threat was absent and Russia itself was at risk. Russia stepped up to help lead intelligence for the defeat of Daesh. One country in particular Russia was allied to was Syria. Southern Iraq had Iran to provide soldiers and munitions and military leadership. Other Arab nations in the region stepped up their counter-terrorism efforts and Holy Men throughout the Muslim world began to educate their flocks about a false profit. In some ways I think The West lacks the appreciation of the. pain and trauma of those years. It was no longer an invasion of the USA but of a stranger that used the Muslim religion as the basis of his power.
So in a war mostly forgot by The West, that is not the case with most countries in the Middle East including Turkey and to it’s northeast and across the Black Sea, Russia.
So, to a greater extent Russian is still mired in a bigger picture that still includes terrorism. Now some of this is real and most of it in relation to Syria is an excuse for continued killing. But, when Russia may approach Assad as a member of the UN Security Council about the deaths in Syria, Assad points to rebels but also the remnants of Daesh and what is Russia suppose to say? In fact, there are still remnants of Daesh in southern Syria and Assad is terrified of ending his civil war for legitimate fears of a return of the regime. There are other countries in the region that handles the continued threats of Daesh differently, namely Jordan and Iraq, but, they have the USA as an ally or had been strengthened by the USA in the rule of law, courts and sentencing such elements and in particular Iraq. Saudi Arabia has no problem dealing with these criminal elements either. But, when it comes to Syria, it is Russia and a depleted Russia due to sanctions that it turns to. And why is that the case? Because if Assad turned to The West he would be at The Hague in no time at all.
So, to Putin the big picture is still terrorism when it comes to national security.
He also mentioned the START Treaty coming up in six years in 2024. Evidently, Russia’s Putin does not want a return to the years of “W” and a memo stating “The USA sees no reason to keep the START Treaty” as “W” did with the ABM Treaty. It is safe to say Putin is tired of the unexpected threat that manifests from Republicans that trash such agreements that have been in place for 30 years. So, if Putin can put a billionaire with lots of needs for loans and the expansionism of capitalism into Russia into the Oval Office then the existential threat of losing all his nuclear treaties will come to an end.

The president of Russia didn’t think the USA should have left the Iran agreement because it was a good agreement. Putin stated Trump was important in the North Koran talks. Putin is interested in ending sanctions and returning to sales to the USA. He stated Russia and the USA should not be interested in fighting each other as there are better ways to settle differences.
At first Putin denied the involvement of Russian GRU agents attempted hacking any server to effect USA elections. Eventually he admitted the government of Russia was involved but simply handed over hacked emails and documents of any kind to be published on Wikileaks BUT justified such action by stating no documents or emails were changed. Everything was published to the world for scrutiny without any changes. Chris Wallace pressed Putin for answers and Putin continued to state he should have more patience as his answer was coming. It was Wallace that finally got him to admit there was hacking bhut no false information was planted to effect the election. It appeared as though Putin actually believed so long as the emails were only as they were written there was no crime committed.
Yes, Mr. Wallace the Russian President believes he did the USA electorate a favor with Wikileaks. Amazingly he appears to be considering all Russian action inside or outside the government innocent. Putin has no sense of privacy or equity. Amazing. That is why it is called Russian interference because they don’t care to understand the laws of the USA. Putin and his military intelligence officers never bothered to realize Snowden can’t come back to the USA.or that Assamge is stuck in the Equadorian Embassy in London. I think Putin knew perfectly well what he was doing and faintly the hacked emails in any way would be detected and then considered ineffective.
Russia seems to say it is innocent of favoritism because it only knew Trump as a rich guy before he ran for president.
Look, Trump is committing unspeakable crimes against the USA when he stated the treaty with NATO is destabilizing. But, the subject was not brought up with Putin. That is a lie. That is exactly Putin’s point of view and why he is engaged in war in Ukraine. The complaint by Trump is about money not the additional security NATO brings.
The issue of Raqqa came because of the merciless bombing of the Daesh capital. The problem with the bombing of Raqqa is that the USA did its damage with bombs as well. So, to determine responsibility for the deaths UN inspectors have to find evidence. There is question as to the possibility of finding that evidence.
Russia puts the blame on the Daesh that used innocent people as human shields.
Russia has been claiming Crimea was not an annexation, but, the people decided in free and open elections. It is known for a fact there was widespread fraud. It is highly questionable whether it is possible to have elections after such a hostile election. Those were not UN Peacekeepers that entered Crimea.
Mr. Wallace brought up a video of a new class of Russian missles of which flew over Florida and land on Mara-a-lack, a favotite retreat for the President. Putin contested the video as landing on Mar-a-lago so much as flying over Florida. He never denied it as an official act of the Russian government.
Putin brought up the unilateral withdrawal of USA from the ABM treaty. 2003 and 2004. He had no response from our American counter parts regarding the ABM Treaty. Evidently, Putin wants Trump around when START comes due in 2021. That is interesting because Trump has stated he will be re-elected in 2021.
Putin did not rule out becoming a member of NATO, but, as a real man would not change as others have once they became members of NATO. No doubt he is referring to the Post-Soviet countries.
Putin states murders of political figures is a matter of history referring to Kennedy and the conflict of police and the killing of unarmed black men. Unfortunately that is an issue for the USA. The mass killings in Orlando had that tone as well. A black man was singled out for mercy by the gunman because he was black. Now communist countries are using the issue to justify their own killings of innocent people within their borders.
Novichok- Putin made really silly statements like he doesn’t know the last name of the victims. States they are unknown to him and the methods were ridiculous as if a major power would use perfume bottles and the like - that is not the Russian way.

At first Putin denied the involvement of Russian GRU agents attempted hacking any server to effect USA elections. Eventually he admitted the government of Russia was involved but simply handed over hacked emails and documents of any kind to be published on Wikileaks BUT justified such action by stating no documents or emails were changed. Everything was published to the world for scrutiny without any changes. Chris Wallace pressed Putin for answers and Putin continued to state he should have more patience as his answer was coming. It was Wallace that finally got him to admit there was hacking bhut no false information was planted to effect the election. It appeared as though Putin actually believed so long as the emails were only as they were written there was no crime committed.
Yes, Mr. Wallace the Russian President believes he did the USA electorate a favor with Wikileaks. Amazingly he appears to be considering all Russian action inside or outside the government innocent. Putin has no sense of privacy or equity. Amazing. That is why it is called Russian interference because they don’t care to understand the laws of the USA. Putin and his military intelligence officers never bothered to realize Snowden can’t come back to the USA.or that Assamge is stuck in the Equadorian Embassy in London. I think Putin knew perfectly well what he was doing and faintly the hacked emails in any way would be detected and then considered ineffective.

Putin brought up the unilateral withdrawal of USA from the ABM treaty. 2003 and 2004. He had no response from our American counter parts regarding the ABM Treaty. Evidently, Putin wants Trump around when START comes due in 2021. That is interesting because Trump has stated he will be re-elected in 2021.
Putin did not rule out becoming a member of NATO, but, as a real man would not change as others have once they became members of NATO. No doubt he is referring to the Post-Soviet countries.
Putin states murders of political figures is a matter of history referring to Kennedy and the conflict of police and the killing of unarmed black men. Unfortunately that is an issue for the USA. The mass killings in Orlando had that tone as well. A black man was singled out for mercy by the gunman because he was black. Now communist countries are using the issue to justify their own killings of innocent people within their borders.

The USA 🇺🇸 does not need to have close relationships with communists countries in order for them to participate in international agreements. Russia is a partner with Iran talks and agreements, talks with North Korea, the Non-proliferation treaty, innumerable number of treaties through it’s United Nations membership and trade relations that are not sanctions.
The idea Russia somehow NEEDS a good relationship with The West in order to be a world power is pure propaganda. Russia does not need hand holding to participate in world affairs. There is no reason for this so called Summit except that Trump wants to remove sanctions from Russia to allow the Trump Organization and secondly Wall Street access for exploration of Russian land and people. I mean if Russian workers can produce Ivanka’s jewelry at less cost, why not?
The USA 🇺🇸 and Russia have many differences. That won’t change by the fact the governments are very different. There are also PEOPLE in former Soviet states that do not want to be reabsorbed into a new Soviet nation. There are countries standing the line with them, namely The West. That is important and the idea Trump is proping the door open to Russia to become a threat again to Europe and the post Soviet states is simply being a traitor to allies and the vulnerable. Trump is a traitor. It is not that easy to coupe the USA.
He has changed alliances per the Executive Branch. He is a billionaire that has harnessed the power of the USA. Bolton is a threat to democracy and Europe and Canada should guard their secrets well when they are involved with the NSA. The intelligence is not secure among allies, especially if Trump has any knowledge of anything. The maneuver in front of Queen Elizabeth II was deliberately disrespectful as proof to Putin there is no daylight between the two.
This is a no brainer. Why would a billionaire want an Alliance with The East other than seeking corrupt loan forgiveness from Russia in exchange for Trump’s loyalty? The loan forgiveness is about the Trump Organization and the family’s personal wealth. That is a given, but, Russia is basically a wide open playing field for capitalism. Trump is a very greedy man.
If Trump were loyal to the USA he would accept the assessments of the USA intelligence, would be leading unafraid from the Executive Branch, having a cabinet the people can trust, seeing far less exodus of federal professionals and cancelling his trip to Russia. Be on your toes from Monday going forward because we have no President. We have a plutocrat that prays to the money God at all costs, even the sovereignty of the United States.
I encourage Governors to act strategically to preserve their well being, but, also the integrity of a sovereign USA. There is nothing more Putin wants than to dissolve the US federal government, especially as a SuperPower. The right political wing is a joke. They play right into Putin’s hands and they think they will someday have a theocracy. Putin would only allow the Russian Orthodox Church and preferably not among members of government. Russia is the quintessential state practicing separation of church and state.
Never in the history of the USA has there been such divisive leadership and now the President of the USA states the EU is a foe while Brian Benczkowski from Alpha Bank has one of the most powerful positions in the US Department of Justice and another right wing nominee to the Supreme Court is coming from the Federalist Society that wants to change the USA constitution.
When one adds up the potential for capitalism in Russia and China; the raw hunger by Wall Street for Donald Trump to turn the Plutocracy loose in what was once emerging economies overrides any and all loyalties to the USA. Capitalism is workable in communist countries while maintaining the communist government along with human rights abuses. When has any Wall Street company in China taken up the case of human rights to embarrass China or Russia before the Obama sanctions? Never, so don’t lecture me about Wall Street and where their loyalties lie.
John Bolton is completely untrustworthy. He has removed people from the NSA because they weren’t willing to lie to please Trump. That means the fix is in for Russia. What type of loyalty does Bolton have to the EU right now? Trump stated the EU is a foe. Bolton’s lies should be interesting and don’t expect the UN Ambassador Hailey to be any different. Vice President Pence is on a leash.
The first thing to be done is to understand what gives Trump such leverage of power over what should be rational Americans in his inner circle. It takes every individual in the USA to stand up to the raw Anti-Americanism in the White House and end the abuse of power. It starts with babies from the Southern Border and doesn’t end until Trump and his traitors are gone.

This is a no brainer. Why would a billionaire want an Alliance with The East other than seeking corrupt loan forgiveness from Russia in exchange for Trump’s loyalty? The loan forgiveness is about the Trump Organization and the family’s personal wealth. That is a given, but, Russia is basically a wide open playing field for capitalism. Trump is a very greedy man.
If Trump were loyal to the USA he would accept the assessments of the USA intelligence, would be leading unafraid from the Executive Branch, having a cabinet the people can trust, seeing far less exodus of federal professionals and cancelling his trip to Russia. Be on your toes from Monday going forward because we have no President. We have a plutocrat that prays to the money God at all costs, even the sovereignty of the United States.
I encourage Governors to act strategically to preserve their well being, but, also the integrity of a sovereign USA. There is nothing more Putin wants than to dissolve the US federal government, especially as a SuperPower. The right political wing is a joke. They play right into Putin’s hands and they think they will someday have a theocracy. Putin would only allow the Russian Orthodox Church and preferably not among members of government. Russia is the quintessential state practicing separation of church and state.
Never in the history of the USA has there been such divisive leadership and now the President of the USA states the EU is a foe while Brian Benczkowski from Alpha Bank has one of the most powerful positions in the US Department of Justice and another right wing nominee to the Supreme Court is coming from the Federalist Society that wants to change the USA constitution.
When one adds up the potential for capitalism in Russia and China; the raw hunger by Wall Street for Donald Trump to turn the Plutocracy loose in what was once emerging economies overrides any and all loyalties to the USA. Capitalism is workable in communist countries while maintaining the communist government along with human rights abuses. When has any Wall Street company in China taken up the case of human rights to embarrass China or Russia before the Obama sanctions? Never, so don’t lecture me about Wall Street and where their loyalties lie.
John Bolton is completely untrustworthy. He has removed people from the NSA because they weren’t willing to lie to please Trump. That means the fix is in for Russia. What type of loyalty does Bolton have to the EU right now? Trump stated the EU is a foe. Bolton’s lies should be interesting and don’t expect the UN Ambassador Hailey to be any different. Vice President Pence is on a leash.

Grand Teton National Park
There is fissuring at Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. That is Wyoming and there is a lake near there called Jenny Lake. I am sure there is regular monitoring of the height of that lake.
The National Park Service is looking for an expert geologist to assess this area. Heck, I can think of half dozen affiliated with universities, but, they would have to take time off from their summer engagements, so there would be a fee involved and maybe housing. Why not draw on the geologists at US Army Corp. that are already familiar with the area or ask USGS to send someone. I think Canadian geologists involvement to advise is also appropriate. They may be seeing something that can provide the answer to the bigger picture.

Giving birth to a new Pacific island over a Hot Spot isn’t easy. I think the plates are stressed and not just the big plates. People have to be safe. It is interesting the Cascades are still normal.
I think it is more than obvious the Pacific Plate is displacing off the Hot Spot of Hawai’i to the new island southeast of the existing chain. I think that is why the old volcano is collapsing. The Hot Spot is moving out from underneath it. It is dangerous as hell on that island. The Pacific Plate is big and heavy and with the Hot Spot cut off from any venting to the surface it is moving around on magma and stressing everything else near it. I think Theresa May’s government is a disappointment. Creating a permanent free trade zone is her failure. A free trade zone with the EU was destroying people’s way of life. These people are not hourly workers that can simply pick up another job when the transaction was complete, they are independent business people, farmers and fishermen. These are independent business people that finance local elections as well.

Anything new brewing at the Cascade Mountain Range?W
When Mount Kilauea first erupted I hoped it would be a flash in the pan eruption, then it sustained. Currently, there is a small volcanic island forming off Hawai’i. I believe it is vents 7and 8 of Mount Kilauea still sending out significant amounts of lava some through canals under cooled lava to the sea. The volcano’s cone and surrounding land mass are collapsing daily with seismic movement of greater than 5 on th Richter scale.
Today the USGS has picked up a swarm of earthquakes around Yakima, Washington in the range of 2.4 Richter. The first week of the eruption of Mount Kilauea everything in the Cascade Range was quite. The report on Friday stated all was normal.
At time of the eruption on Hawaii the Fueho Mountain in Guatemala erupted. It was a deadly eruption and killed over 100 people with many missing. NASA ran a heat scan on June 24th of the mountain and surrounding land in Guatemala and some cooling has occurred where the pyrocladtic flows occurred, but, there is still significant heat. There doesn’t seem to be anymore activity, although the lingering heat is curious.
Only a few hours ago the oldest Yellowstone geyser as erupted in an enormous plumb of at least 100 feet or more into the air and nearly reaching the viewing stand full of people.
I think the swarm of earthquakes inWashington State and the unusual eruptions of guysers in Yellowstone, it is time to better understand the caldera and/or any relationship with the Cascades on the West Coast.
NASA had been developing a measure to stabilize Yellowstone. I think the time has come to do more than submit proposals and wait for finding. I don’t believe in coincidence.

Croatia has done it again.
The country of Croatia has many world class sport teams and some say it is genetics. More than scoccer it has champions in tennis, basketball, tennis, water polo and hand ball. The people of this tiny country have rather tall people that tend to be very athletic. That doesn’t mean they haven’t worked hard to achieve their status, quite the contrary. But, as a national team they are tough to beat.
I congratulate Croatia for its hard work and persistent success. The World Cup is coming to the USA, it is time to get serious.

Trump dresses up nice, but, you just can’t take him anywhere.
His demeanor is so outrageous no one pays attention to him anymore. Every time he is breaking protocol any real diplomatic message gets lost. He explained his statement about Boris Johnson was not meant to insult Theresa May, but, to encourage Mr. Johnson in spite of his resignation. That is all fine and good and most public figures make those bloopers, but, he ruined it for himself. Rather than making the occasional blooper he is assailed by the expectation of an insult. Trump has ruined his own public image.
I think the arrogance of walking ahead of the queen when viewing the troops was more than anyone should tolerate. That finished it for me. Here, the oldest living monarch of a long lived ally put out the red carpet for Trump as President of the United States and he had the almighty nerve to ruin the moment for everyone else including the Queen. I have no respect for the man. He is untrustworthy with the status of President of the United States of America. Any fool could carry on such insulting behavior. He is neither a scholar or a gentleman.
