Illinois State Board of Elections was hacked by Russians in the 2016 presidential elections.

The Illinois legislature passed a bill to remove Illinois from the controversial multi-state voter registration system. Illinois Republican Governor Bruce Rauner vetoed the bill that would have secured Illinois from any danger by Russian hackers or other hackers as well.

Hopefully there is a veto proof majority in both Illinois houses. Illinois citizens need to form a concerned citizens group to sue the Governor.

It is surprising the Governor would act against the will of the people because the Russians now have the full identity of the citizens in this multistage voter registration system. There is nothing stopping Russians from mailing in voter ballots. Even if there are duplicate ballots, chances are there will be some that are not.
