July 25, 2017 the US House passed a bipartisan measure to limit Donald Trump from lifting any Russia sanctions. I find it strange if that changes. The vote in 2017 was 419-3.
CNN is stating some of the most powerful Republicans in Congress are speaking out against President Trump.
CNN - 1700 - “The people that surround Trump are afraid to tell him not to do these type of things (meeting with Russia’s Putin).” Well, I think they need to re-examine their values. That is not necessarily the case either. The Trump Chief of Staff, John Kelly told Trump not to call Putin to congratulate him on his re-election. Trump ignored the advise and called Putin anyway. So, the idea people that surround Trump are afraid to criticize him is more of an excuse and I don’t accept that as fact. I think the staff finds it easier to simply accept a paycheck, do as they are told and stay out of Trump’s way.
Rand Paul has to be one of the worst statesman in the country. He thinks it is good to dialogue with Russia so the USA doesn’t stumble into war. Rand Paul is a jerk. He likes to inflame the situation to get attention. Next week he will change his mind after he received enough attention to stay in the news and get free publicity.
NPR - Republicans are critical of Trump’s performance in Moscow with words like; “Disgraceful,” “Push Over,” and “Deeply Troubled.” Democratic leaders are questioning whether the Russians have damaging information about Trump.
Well,Trump and Putin met for two hours. There were absolutely no tweets from Trump. I want to know how many papers he signed during those two hours. I also want to know how many US Navy ships were harassed by Russians today. What occurred in Ukraine this week because of spineless Trump.
I apologize for not knowing all the hosts on Fox News, but, I think it was Bret Bairer that had an interview with Former Georgian President Mikheil Saskashvili. It was excellent. The Georgian President really made me proud to be an American. He called Putin evil. He stated Vladimir Putin has killed many people and groups of people. The Former Georgian President set the picture of Vladimir Putin straight. The really wonderful aspect of that interview is the Former Georgian President looked wonderful, spoke fluently in English and he was unafraid to point out the folly of befriending Putin. He was very insightful.
I want to know what Mr. Benczkowski is doing in the DOJ. I want his activities transparent especially in meddling with the Mueller investigations and I expect he will never be in touch with Alpha Bank in his current position as a federal employee in a sensitive position.
