LIGHTS - Ice [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO]

My mouth is frozen so I can't even speak
What a disappointment, I had it perfectly
What I was going to bring up suddenly
Stood like a stone as you stood quietly
You're making it hard for me
All I can do is freeze

What I mean is, all I need is,
Just a little emotion
Cause all I see is you not feeling
And you're giving me nothing nice
I tried to do you right, why'd you have to go and turn to ice

I don't think you're knowing how hard this is for me
I'm not the type to say sorry constantly
So I swallowed my pride and I got on my knees
But still you just stood there as you stared at me
Your ego is getting old
How did you get so cold

What I mean is, all I need is,
Just a little emotion
Cause all I see is you not feeling
And you're giving me nothing nice
I tried to do you right, why'd you have to go and turn to ice

I'm looking at you looking at me, what can I do but say sorry
It's a little late but you know I just want you to be happy.
What I got to say to make you let me get away with it this time.
I know you're upset and that you're happy just to sit and hate me,
But I'll make a bet that you'll be better to forget about me,
Even better yet I'll let a little light melt the ice, ice baby!

My mouth is frozen so I can't even speak
I'm not the type to say sorry constantly

What I mean is all I need is
Just a little emotion
Cause all I see is you not feeling
And you're giving me nothing
What I mean is all I need is
Just a little emotion
Cause all I see is you not feeling
And you're giving me nothing nice
I tried to do you right, why'd you have to go
I tried to do you right, why'd you have to go and turn to ice

Is everyone completely disconnected from the 'dynamics of the don?"

The Don is a 'wealth merchant' that doesn't care where the millions come from so long as it comes.  That is capitalism without a conscience.  Donald Trump has no conscience about his acquisition of attention or his focus of his own "Your Fired" I want to be a millionaire like The Don show.

Donald Trump is not a moral man and neither is Romney.  They love money and damned anything or anyone that gets in the way of it.  They two have a lot in common including their form of morality.  "Getting right with God" is a 'station' for Trump.  He demands being seen as a virtuous man and having a wife he is loyal to because it makes money.  Maybe Trump can get every Miss Universe participant to vote for Romney, but, that is a very small constituency.  He can do that because of his power within his own organization.  No different than what's her name he paraded around.  She was virtuous regardless of her overt distain of civil rights for the Gay Community because of her Anti-Abortion stance and therefore it rubbed off on him.

The reason why Trump backed Romney has nothing to do about winning the elections, it is because Romney is favored by the GOP as someone that can beat the President.  Trump stated he would consider an independent run if no one was nominated that can beat President Obama.  For Trump this is another victory along with his Birther victory.  Or so he says.  The process regarding the President's Long Form Birth Certificate started long before Trump entered the picture.

But, backing Romney gets Trump off the hook for giving up his "I want to be a Millionaire like Trump" show.  The Apprentice I think it is called.  The gamesmanship of the media surrounding the announcement by Trump was intentional.  By all rights, Trump should have backed Gingrick.  He didn't.  Trump had all the trappings of Palin and the extreme right that Gingrick carries as a mantel.  Trump wanted out of the mess for this year.

The gamesmanship of the press was to draw everyone into the audience.  If Trump had everyone guessing it served two purposes, it increased his 'catch' for his annoucement and it vanquished the 'hang on' Palin crowd.  These people are vicious about their wealth, how they get it and how they keep it.  I mean, get for real.

Soledad O'Brien was right on the mark with her interview.

The Republican Party is NOT interested in repairing a safety net.  Where can Romney point to with his own party where repairing the social safety net for the poor.  It is quite the contrary.

So here again, and I would Soledad's to indepth knowledge and sensitivity of the poor and minorities in this country, there is nothing 'in the air' by Romney rhetoric.

I mean this isn't even a 'gotcha' moment.  This is a statement about how he sees the world and he isn't even in touch with the trend of his own party.  The GOP has been draconian across the nation to their 'connectedness' to the poor.  I mean give me a break and this comment about the Middle Class is completely hideous.  The Middle Class is being burdened with more and more of the nation's own poverty in their national debt.  They are being attacked from every direction and THEIR safety net is being hacked away at and has been hacked away at for decades that resulted in the place the Middle Class finds themselves now.

Who is kidding who here?

Romney is the puppet with 'the face' for more deception by the GOP with millions upon millions infused by the Radical Rove.

There are actually Catholics that approve of The Affordable Care Act. This is the USA and not Rome.

Catholics Support Access to Contraception under Affordable Care Act

The bishops have portrayed the Obama Administration’s decision to require most employers to cover contraception without copays as an all-out attack on Catholicism and conscience rights. In shouting this from the pulpit, they are threatening to drown out the voice of the majority of Catholics who believe that women should be able to access birth control using their company's health insurance. Take action!
It is all too obvious the Vatican orchestrated the response of the Bishops in the USA.  It was in unison and I am sure there are ambitions beyond their current position within the church.

Women are a soft target for power struggles.  That is just a fact.

But, there is a problem greater than this manifestation of it regarding the exclusivity of health care of Catholic Churches.

** Nearly one in every five hospital beds (click here) in the United States is now under the control of a religious entity and 10 of the 20 largest health systems in the country are religiously-owned.

** The Catholic healthcare system is the largest private non-profit provider of healthcare in the nation.  In fact, 70% of religiously affiliated hospitals identify as Catholic.  As of 2005, there were 60 Catholic healthcare systems, totaling 13% of all community hospitals.

**A huge surge in hospital sales and mergers during the 1990s has made the Catholic
healthcare system more influential.

   - Under the Religious and Ethical Directives for Catholic Health Care Services,
Catholic hospitals will not provide contraception, sterilization, most infertility
treatments, condom distribution for AIDS prevention, or abortion services.  Directive goes so far as to say no medical care can be provided to a woman with an extrauterine pregnancy that could be construed as abortion.

  - It is also difficult to obtain emergency contraception in Catholic hospitals – even for
rape/sexual assault victims.

  - Medicare and Medicaid account for one-half of the funding to religiously affiliated
hospitals. Religious hospitals also enjoy certain benefits like tax exempt status, lowcost financing through government bond programs, and in some areas, use of
municipal buildings.

There is a question of monopoly of health care in the USA.  As religious INFRINGMENTS take over policy of larger segments of the populous of the USA and there are exclusivity of treatment in some areas of the country, there are implications upon sovereignty of the country itself.  This is the mistake the Catholic Church has made time and again.  Governments require sovereignty in order to function and while the Catholic Church's power in parts of the world might be viewed as benevolent, it is a fault within the church's priorities.

Churches of a wide variety experience the health care system in the USA, but, that doesn't mean they can dictate the care of the patients according to their own rules.  It has nothing to do with religious freedom in the USA, it has to do with the health care people are seeking and its availability.

If the Catholic Church wants to provide care to the people of the USA they need to provide care to all the people without discrimination.  So, if a Baptist walks into a Catholic Hospital or Health Care System there needs to be services in place.  That applies to the Baptist that works for a Catholic Health Care System.

The other dynamic is the problems with Health Care Systems and their exclusive rights to entire regions of a state.  There is less and less competition and options in areas of any state as mergers occurred.  So, it is very realistic for citizens across the country to be absorbed by a religious health care system that restricts their personal choices.  But it is not realistic to believe that a religious health care system has the right to dictate the religious content of their lives through dysfunctional policies for the American people which has a proud heritage of being a "Melting Pot."

The assertions by the Catholic Church the USA is dictating religious practice in the USA is nonsense.  In this case, it is protecting it and its diversity.

The Russian Renaissance

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian ballet stars (click title to entry - thank you) once defected to the West in search of artistic freedom. These days, western dancers are lured east by the iron discipline of a Russian ballet education.

Around 100 foreigners from all over the world are enrolled at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, formally known as the Moscow State Academy of Choreography. Founded by Empress Catherine the Great, the school produced Soviet legends Olga Lepeshinskaya and Maya Plisetskaya as well as contemporary stars such as Natalia Osipova and Nikolai Tsiskaridze....

Russia's objection to a UN Resolution is usually backed by reason and not emotion.

...Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov (click title to entry - thank you) has criticized the text of a Western-backed United Nations Security Council resolution on the violence in Syria, saying there will be a "scandal" if it is put to a vote.

Lavrov says Russia wants two amendments to the resolution. He said the measure should treat anti- and pro-government forces more equally rather than appear to be taking sides in a civil war. And he said the resolution should close the door on any possibility of foreign intervention in the conflict....

I especially thought closing the door on a foreign intervention was interesting.  I mean you've got to be joking to believe China and Russia will consent to another occupation of powers.  I believe Russia still has a naval base in Syria.

Not only that, but, Israel and Iran are throwing stones at each other.  And that is another thing.  The USA and Israel have postponed military exercises because of the tensions with Iran and the Homuz mess.  Then to prove to Iran that Israel is the Top Gun it openly threatens an attack in the Spring.  Spring.  Hm. Like "Arab Spring."  Just playing with words.

Then there is the fact Russia has recognized two new nations of which no one else globally has recognized and there are bad feelings about any more riotous behaviors in the area.

And then there is that whole "Star Wars" incident, so there are many, many reasons why Russia and China vetoed any UN resolution about Syria. The two objections seemed reasonable actually.

Russia was already involved in Civil Wars with Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia so probably know something about stabilizing the region when no one else does.  Russia had every right to step in with the Georgia disaster, too.  Georgia was killing people in ethnic violence.  The facts are on this blog.  The Russia peacekeepers ran into frank assassination of people in those areas.

It is interesting to see China and Russia stand together on this one.  They have that 2000 Friendship Pact, you know.

...The unadopted draft "fully supports" the January 22 Arab League decision "to facilitate a Syrian-led political transition to a democratic, plural political system ... including through commencing a serious political dialogue between the Syrian government and the whole spectrum of the Syrian opposition."
The Arab League plan contains demands that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down to pave the way for a new national unity government and national elections in the Middle East country.
Russia and China have voiced their strong opposition to forced regime change in Syria.
Russia warned some countries against meddling in the internal affairs of Syria, saying that the international community should prevent a replay of the Libya model, in which NATO military action help topple the regime of Libyan strongman Muammar Qaddafi....
It would seem as though China also believes the unrest within the Middle East is worrisome and opt for dictatorships over democracy.  I suppose they have something in common with Glen Beck.

Libyan militia accused of torturing to death ambassador to France (click here)

One of Libya's many new militias has been accused of detaining and apparently torturing to death a former ambassador to France, the latest allegation of brutality to mar the victorious revolutionaries' reputation since the fall of Col Muammar Gaddafi....

It would seem as though there is still some blood lust in Libya after killing Gaddafi. That maybe a focus of China, but, I think the USA elections in November has some wondering what new Neocon will have a chance at destroying any control in the Middle East at all. I really think that has a lot to do with it. Seriously. I mean, another George Bush? That at least as far as Russia is concerned. Then there is always this 'exportation' of hostilities between Russia, China and the USA to other nations. Allowing an escalation of presence of the USA in the region is sincerely worrisome. It should be worrisome to Americans as well, at least the Libya resolution didn't allow for OCCUPATION.

So, what then about the violence in Syria?

TRIPOLI, Lebanon (AP) — Abu Hamza was in a crowd of thousands (click here) in the Syrian border town of Qusair, shouting for President Bashar Assad to leave power, when a sniper's bullet tore through his leg and shattered the bone into 18 pieces.
Another bullet pierced his back as he tried to crawl away. A friend rushed into the street to try to drag him away but was also hit in the shoulder. Abu Hamza lay in the street for two hours until it was dark. Finally a man ran out, pulled him to a safer area, then himself fell dead, shot in the head.
Friends smuggled Abu Hamza immediately across the border into Lebanon. Now nearly two months later he is recuperating in a clinic set up by Syrian exiles in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli....
Arm the resistance?  Sounds reasonable to me.  The roof top assassins of Libya were brought under control.  At least give the Syrians half a chance.  If Russia and China want to have both sides of the conflict recognized, I don't see any harm in actually making the conflict equal.
And if the Glen Beck's of the world want to cower in the corner regarding the end of a vicious dictator willing to pick off his own citizens then they don't understand democracy and human rights, nor do they care to. I thought cowering was out of the question in the USA, evidently not in some corners of the political realm.

It is worrisome that Lebanon will be receiving violence if Assad so decides he can export his anger and again transpose his authority elsewhere, so to secure the borders of Lebanon is not unreasonable.

I am sure the protesters would like to be doing more than shouting at Assad anyway.  I think Russia is correct.  The major powers do not need to be involved so much as empowering the people now being assassinated to stop Assad.  Arming the resistance is a measure that can be reversed and controlled by any major military in the world.  It is a reasonable decision.  It stands with morality while controlling any escalation.

So, the USA needs to stop saying Russia and China are the 'bad guys' in all this.  I really don't believe they are.  The Syrians need their own 'equity' not surrender.

And in Myanmar, they may not see the movie about Suu Kyi, but, the politics is flourishing. Who needs a superstar in an unfair political advantage in a movie theater after all?

88 Gen backs reformers, Daw Suu Kyi (click here)

January 30 - February 5, 2012
LEADERS of the 88 Generation student movement say they want to work “hand-in-hand” with reformers across the political spectrum and also support the role of Daw Aung Suu Kyi.
Min Ko Naing, a prominent student leader who was released from prison on January 13 under an amnesty, said at a press conference in Yangon on January 21 that the group was mostly optimistic about the country’s political future.
“I want to clearly inform that we (88 generation students) would pull the rope (stand) on the side of reformers,” said Min Ko Naing.
“I am not as pessimistic to say that it the glass is half empty, while I don’t want to be over optimistic and say it is half full. We are more like fish that need water for our survival,” the veteran activist said.
“We will clearly support those who want to build justice, freedom and equality in the battle against those who want to destroy these three things,” he said....

When assessment values of homes fall, the property taxes collected dwindles right along with them.

Emergency Manager Information  (click title to entry - thank you)
Public Act 4 of 2011, the Local Government and School District Financial Accountability Act, was signed into law by Governor Rick Snyder on March 16th, 2011.  PA 4 replaced and repealed PA 72 of 1990.  There are currently three local governmental units and one school district that are in receivership and have an appointed Emergency Manager (EM).

Below are homes values in Michigan over the decades.

2000 - $115,600

1990 - $77,400

1980 - $77,200

1970 - $67,200

1960 - $59,100

1950 - $45,400

1940 - $29,800

The Chart is the fall of home
values in Detroit under the Bush/Cheney White House.

We all know what the auto industry was going through, so it is no surprise the values of homes would be challenged as well.

Falling Prices Stimulate Homes Sales in Michigan

According to the Michigan Association of Realtors, home sales YTD (through October) in Michigan are up by +1.02% compared to last year, from 85,270 houses sold through October 2007 to 86,138 YTD this year. The YTD average home price in Michigan fell by -15%, from $141,681 last year to $120,418 this year.

For the city of Detroit, home sales are up by a whopping 47% from 6,411 houses YTD in 2007 to 9,420 this year, as the average YTD price fell by 54% to $18,513 this year from $40,011 in 2007 (see chart above)....

What Snyder fails to admit is the 'depression like' economy that began in 2006 were the problems Michigan faced when he took office.  It wasn't the financial disasters in poor communities, it was the loss of value of their property, depressed tax income and loss of jobs and wages.  It has nothing to do with incompetent city governments, but, it does have to do with a crashing domestic economy unattended and free-falling under Bush/Cheney.  Snyder's dictators are unnecessary.  As the economy recovers the cities will retrieve a tax base they can build on.  The State of Michigan should be helping these cities manage their debts while a recovery instills itself throughout the state.

Asking Prices and Inventory for Homes in Detroit Michigan (click here)

As of January 30 2012 there were about 21,844 single family and condo homes listed for sale in Detroit Michigan. The median asking price of these homes was approximately $84,900. Since this time last year, the inventory of homes for sale has decreased by 27.9% and the median price has decreased by 0.1%.....
The current average price of $84,900 for a home in Detroit indicates a home value recovery to 2002 levels.  That is a good thing.  There is nothing wrong with the leadership in the Detroit government.  What needs to occur is for Detroit to be inviting enough to sell those 21,844 single family homes.  It will happen, but, like the recovery ACROSS THE NATION, it takes time.
It is my opinion, Snyder's Emergency Managers will have a very easy job as their intervention will be mostly supported by the Recovery and not anything they did.  Snyder's pie in the sky idea is demented and Anti-American, wayward and desperate because HE HAS NO IDEAS!
Does he actually believe removing the Benton Harbor lake front from the people to development is going to solve the city's problems?  Real Estate ain't all that.  What is occurring in Benton Harbor is OPPORTUNISTIC GREED.  Real Estate development that will change the foot print of the city in awaiting for prices to improve and then those that invested will dump the lake front property for profits.
Snyder is out of control and quite possibly is a far worse governor than Walker.
THE RICH GET RICHER AND THE POOR GET POORER!
That is Governor Snyder's idea of fun and an economic boom for Michigan.  Snyder is a greed merchant.

No, Snyder isn't like the other Midwestern GOP Governors, he is worse. He relies on dictatorship without an electorate challenge.

..."I think it's unfortunate that they've gotten to that, I don't want to see that happen," Snyder said of the high profile fights and protests in neighboring states like Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin. "If you want to draw it as a contrast, you look at now that they've had those things happen, do they have a productive environment to solve problems? Not necessarily. They're still overcoming the divisiveness, the hard feelings from all of that."
Snyder said he preferred a consensus approach and would continue to resist what he viewed as divisive legislation.
"There's so many things we can agree on and let's get them done," he said.
Snyder's comments, which came after he testified before a congressional committee on job creation, underscored the differences among Republican governors over how they should use the power they won in their 2010 midterm election landslide....

Benton Harbor Light which should be called 'Gentrification Harbor Light.'

These cities which house some of the most impoverished in the country will be turned into real estate mogul dreams, real estate taxes will skyrocket and the current residents will be residents no more.  Now that is what Synder calls progress.

Synder could almost get away with it, except, he is carrying out his strategy for wealth on the heels of the Great Recession and a Post-Depressed Auto Industry.  This is simply "W"rong and carries with it implications for disaster if it is allowed to continue.  Snyder is not only removing democracy from Michigan citizens, he is doing it repeatedly.  There are city governments throughout Michigan seeking answers to 'stay out of the grips' of the maniacal Governor.  "Snyder the Terrible" should be his name, it certainly is his motto.

...Michael Stampfler (click here) is Pontiac, Michigan's EFM. He has the dubious distinction of being the first Michigan EFM to use new powers granted by Michigan Republicans to cancel a union contract. What went nearly unnoticed was that last week, he dissolved the Pontiac Planning Commission and replaced it with a smaller number of his own hand-picked, unelected members. But he also did another thing. He made a contract for water treatment services with United Water Services permanent, outsourcing the water treatment to them and laying off city water treatment officials....
...To Benton Harbor, this attack, while more ferocious and having sharper teeth, is nothing new.  The town has been a target for decades.  It's ripe for the taking.  It is a desperately poor black town that would probably have gone unnoticed except for its one valuable asset:  Frontage on Lake Michigan, complete with gorgeous sandy beaches and the crown jewel,Jean Klock Park, donated to the city in 1917 "for the children", in perpetuity and now under threat of takeover by the Snyder gang....

While the "Komen for the Cure" continues their revised mission, there is still room for another research organization.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Billionaire New York City (click title to entry - thank you) Mayor Michael Bloomberg pledged on Thursday to give $250,000 of his own money to the Planned Parenthood Federation of America after breast cancer charity Susan G. Komen for the Cure withdrew funding for the group.

The Komen foundation had provided about $700,000 annually for Planned Parenthood to provide access to mammograms for low income women....

One of the first heroes that leapt into action was Mayor Bloomberg.  It was a fabulous idea and is being mimicked.

Believing in women is very important and not for one second did Mayor Bloomberg waiver in his commitment to advance excellent health for all of them.  I thank him.  His effort was absolutely stunning and comforting.  "Hero of the Year."

The sincerely unfortunate outcome for Komen regarding this change in policy and return to a more just policy for grants shows a culture within the organization many women consider a threat.  Women understand life all too well.  They know the brevity of their decisions.  But, to realize their health could be threatened without a chance to make a decision is an assault on them, the ones they love and the very core of the American family.  No one should be playing with this.

The ridicule from the political right must be a reality check for those within the Komen organization making decisions that revealed faux priorities.  I congratulate Komen for taking the opinion of women seriously and rejoining the American culture once again.  But, there is a reality now that cannot be ignored and we cannot risk any radical change again.  While, Komen will continue to conduct very good work, there has to be others in parallel organizations conducting their own efforts while securing funding for the real world we live in today.

I remember Jerry Lewis some time ago stating on his Telethon that he wished there was more research being conducted, but, to ignore the needs of those effected today is unthinkable.  I agree.

The real Republican expert on China and Afghanistan.

The "Romney Style" changed after this debate. There have been noticeable changes in his stage presence. He became a 'fire brand' speaker from a podium speaker under the mentoring of the former coach of Rep. Bachmann.

The GOP was looking for the "Bring Bush Back" candidate when they should have been learning what Former Governor Huntsman was trying to convey and that was a return to legitimacy was necessary. But, Rove and the Right Wing Media was too invested in the "Bring Bush Back" model. One has to wonder if Rove can do anything else beside the 'Bring Bush Back' rant.

Donald Trump is off the hook for a 2012 independent run. So, sorry Sarah, the pizza was good though, huh?

Trump is about ratings and nothing else. Not worth discussing, it is all hype.

..."You look (click title to entry - thank you) at what's going on with China, you look at what's going on with the other OPEC nations and how they are absolutely destroying this country, and he's the only one who talks about it," Trump told a group of reporters at an impromptu news conference in Las Vegas. "So that was very important to me. I thought he did very well in the debates, that was very important... I think if he debates that well, I don't think Obama will fare well against him....

The Komen Foundation does not have exclusive rights of Breast Cancer research.

Komen is now dominated by Anti-Abortion activists and the USA women's community is better off without them.  Why am I glad I never bought those running shoes!

After the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure’s decision to defund Planned Parenthood, attention has focused on its Vice President for Policy, Karen Handel. She joined the group last January after a failed run for governor in Georgia, where she had advocated defunding Planned Parenthood.
But there’s another woman who deserves equal credit: Americans United for Life President Charmaine Yoest. It’s her group that issued a report last fall, “The Case for Investigating Planned Parenthood,” that led to a probe by the Energy and Commerce Committee. And it’s that investigation that puts Planned Parenthood in violation of Komen’s new policy that bars funding of groups under investigation.

Yoest has run Americans United for Life for three years. She came to the group from former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee’s presidential campaign, and before that, served as the Family Research Council’s vice president for communications. She moved to Washington in the 1980s to work in the Reagan administration. But she counts this as perhaps her biggest victory....

It doesn't matter the 'holier than thou' excuses, the fact of the matter is an investigation is not a reason for victimizing women in the USA.  If there was malpractice by physicians directly effecting the health of women it would be conceivably a good reason, but, the investigations swirling around Planned Parenthood are political, have no basis in civil rights and have absolutely nothing to do with Breast Health of women and men.  There is absolutely no reason for any woman to believe Komen won't further endanger the best outcomes for women with a partner in Planned Parenthood with longevity and proven records of results.

I have no intentions of ever supporting Komen again.  They have a horrible business model and they have very questionable officers involved with delicate and important decisions.

Komen, Planned Parenthood and Congress: What's the status? (click here for video)

February 1, 20124:26 p.m.
...The congressional inquiry was launched in September by Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.) to determine, among other things, whether Planned Parenthood has used public money to fund abortions. Although Planned Parenthood receives federal money, that money can't be used to provide abortions....

I do approve of nor do I appreciate a woman's health living in the shadows of politics in the USA.  I don't like uncertainty regarding support for a woman's health either.  There is no grey here for me.  Either women are receiving services or they are not.  Stating the current grants will be honored is simply a legal statement to uphold existing CONTRACTS with Planned Parenthood.  It is more than obvious Komen has no will within their organization to fend off 'politics as usual' for the Anti-Abortionist activists that act to create policy.  I have no patience with this and Planned Parenthood has whatever time is left for their grants to raise new monies to fund their Breast Health activities.  I challenge Planned Parenthood to find affiliations for fostering Breast Cancer Research and the funding that is necessary to proceed.  Komen is not a reliable source.

I am a 15 year breast cancer survivor.  There is no room for this.  It is disasterous and sacrifices precious time for the women that have yet to be diagnosed and survive this hideous disease that attacks every aspect of the definition of 'women.'

President Obama gave a wonderful expression of faith at the National Prayer Breakfast.

However, the faithful of the House Republicans have yet to set aside their political priorities when it comes to testimony of Attorney General Holder.

It would appear as though admitting there were more problems within their own spectrum under the Former President Bush that carried over to the current administration is more than Republicans are willing to admit.  Attorney General Holder needs to release whatever documents exist about "Gunwalker and Wide Receiver" and it relationship with ATF actions since the inception of planting guns in Mexico to PROVE the existance of weapons exportation to Mexico.

Mr. Issa bemoans Groundhog Day as a marker to their agenda.  Give me a break.

...It will be interesting (click title to entry - thank you) to see if the Committee stirs the anthill even further by raising questions about other messed-up operations.

Meanwhile, confidential sources have told The Outdoor Wire about Operation Wide Receiver, another ATF/Justice Department investigation gone bad.

Mounted approximately five years ago out of the Tucson office, Wide Receiver may have actually been the template used -with equally inept results- by the now-infamous Phoenix operations.

In Operation Wide Receiver, Tucson agents allowed the sales of more than 500 firearms to known straw purchasers. Like Gunrunner/Fast and Furious, the operation apparently backfired.

Some firearms in Wide Receive were equipped with RFID tracking devices. In Wide Receiver, it seems the illegal purchasers seemed more than slightly knowledgeable of the way the ATF and how to take their aerial and electronic tracking procedures down.

Knowing the time aloft numbers for virtually all planes used in government surveillance, the buyers had a simple method of getting their purchases across the border undetected. They simply drove four-hour loops around the area.

As surveillance planes were forced to return to base for re-fueling, the smugglers simply turned and sprinted their cargo across the border.

The RFID tags also turned out to be problematic....

Why it is that Arizona always turns up as more problematic than any other state on the border?

We know what Josh's arrest is all about, its about 'Bring back Bush."

If the Republicans can simply forestall all the TRUTH taking effect on the electorate, Willard M. Romney will "Bring Back Bush."  Unfortunately, the Republican House can't recognize a real hero in Josh Fox.  I think Josh needs a restraining order from the House Republicans to insure his Freedom of Speech.  The House has been caught.  They don't honor Freedom of Speech granted to the press.  They have been caught.  Josh Fox can be given credit for it.

Willard may as well have the slogan painted to the side of his bus, 'BRING BACK BUSH."

"I will recall The Affordable Care Act."

:"I will recall Dodd-Frank."

"I will defeat Roe v. Wade."

"I will allow hydraulic fracking without EPA interference, just like it was written by Dick Cheney."

...The filmmaker (click title to entry - thank you) behind the 2010 HBO documentary was detained and charged by Capitol police for trying to film a House Science Committee hearing on the gas and oil-extraction process of hydraulic fracturing, aka "fracking," which Fox has crusaded against.

James Cameron is taking a residence in New Zealand.

It is time for President Obama to run his re-election campaign.

There have been many times the current leading candidate has already made 'General Election' statements.  The Republicans are complaining he is running for office and not acting as President.  They are "W"rong and a lie.  It is a Rovian method to assign negative characteristics to the President.

The President has every right to the First Amendment as anyone else.  He has the right to defend his record and call a lie a lie.

Besides that he is a lot of fun.  I find the current ads running by Superpacs and his campaign staff exceptionally complimentary to his record and the dignity he brings to the office.  The ads state his record and accomplishments in relation to the lives of citizens.
