He states the USA has to cut more with China. Not at all. China’s AI technology has suffered deaths of young scientists. The deaths are being blamed on the pressure of the government to produce AI weaponry for their military.
When AI in China was first discussed it was stated there was an unplanned accident where deaths resulted.
The Chinese program is hardly successful if they can’t even keep their scientists alive.
AI has to be regulated. China can continue to have dead scientists and accidents that kill because of their ambitions, but, perhaps Chinese AI will turn on its masters and we won’t have to worry about it at all.
Our military doesn’t need it. It is the finest military in the world. Trump has bought into Artificial Intelligence and replacing American workers with computers to the point of dysfunction. AI needs to be regulated to prevent harm to us all.
