Photographer states :: This is what is left of my house after a direct hit by an F2 tornado.

If anyone recalls the tornadoes of Kentucky and Illinois earlier this year? They touchdown overnight. It occurred for two weekends in one month, two weeks apart. This a huge system with dramatic differences in temperatures. See map above. There is a very good chance of overnight tornadoes. The temperature boundaries are too severe to believe otherwise. Be sure alarms are on and working.

Tornado Moving Through Chicago Suburbs, Weather Service Says (click on)

Sept. 22 (Bloomberg) -- A tornado was spotted in the far western suburbs of Chicago, near the intersection of Interstate 88 and Kirk Road, the U.S. National Weather Service said.

People in the suburbs of Schaumburg, Medinah, Hoffman Estates, Itasca, Rolling Meadows and Elk Grove are in the path of the storm and should immediately take cover, according to a tornado warning issued by the weather service's forecast office in Romeoville, Illinois.

Local law enforcement reported seeing a funnel cloud, and emergency-management officials in Dupage County reported that it had a ``strong rotation,'' the weather service said. The storm was moving northeast at about 35 miles (56 kilometers) per hour.
