Lebanon saw its deadliest day of fighting in months, (click here) heaping pressure on stalled U.S.- Iran negotiations while Washington preps fresh sanctions.

The Israel Defense Forces said on Sunday that it killed Abu Hassan Alaa, a senior Hezbollah commander, in southern Lebanon a day earlier. A total of 11 people died in the Israeli strikes, making them the deadliest since the sides agreed to a ceasefire at the beginning of June. 

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the strikes were in retaliation for a Hezbollah attack injuring three soldiers on Saturday. Israel said on Sunday it would strike the Iranian proxy group again if threatened. 

The fighting on the periphery of the Iran war may further complicate what appear to be deadlocked negotiations between Washington and Tehran. The sides are poised to arrive at the formal end of their own ceasefire agreement on Monday with no apparent path forward on the Strait of Hormuz and with the U.S. readying an “economic isolation” plan to pressure Iran’s capitulation....

No matter what the Republican Congress funds, it is never enough.

It is called corruption and racketeering. Throw in the betrayal of the USA national defense.

Trump’s shipbuilding plan (click here) can’t come at expense of Hampton Roads, Virginia lawmakers say

President Donald Trump ordered the Pentagon this week to open the door to building warships abroad and the creation of a fifth public shipyard on the Pacific coast. 

The directive, issued Thursday, is aimed at increasing investments in U.S. shipbuilding in a way that would address backlogs and cost overruns. But it’s raising eyebrows within the industry and among Virginia lawmakers about potential impacts to Hampton Roads’ economy. 

Shipbuilders Council of America President Matthew Paxton urged the administration to reverse course on the decision, saying every ship built abroad takes jobs, demand and industrial capability with it. 

“While foreign investment into the U.S.-based shipyards and facilities is lauded to reach the administration’s goals of revitalizing the shipyard industrial base, directing the Department of War to build overseas only undercuts the federal Maritime Action Plan and general investment into commercial and government shipbuilding,” Paxton said in a statement....

Israel imports 99 percent of it's oil. It is difficult to run a war with these ambitions on that.

...In the 2015 Republican primary, (click here) he faced 16 rivals and the presumptive favourite, Jeb Bush, scion of a dynasty.

Trump reduced him to two words: “low energy”.

Bush never recovered. He turned on Marco Rubio next, mocking his height and his sweat.

Rubio hit back hard.

“A con artist is about to take over the Republican party,” he warned, calling Trump “erratic” and unfit to hold “the nuclear codes”.

It did not matter. Trump won anyway. Rubio, having called him a con man, is now his Secretary of State.

This is the pattern of the Trump era in miniature: the insult, the outrage, the surrender.

The pattern holds abroad, too.

When Iran refused to reopen the Strait of Hormuz this spring, Trump did not send a diplomatic cable.

He posted on Truth Social, threatening to bomb Iran’s power plants and bridges, and told Tehran’s leaders to open “the... Strait, you crazy (pejorative title)”.

Weeks later, the US president was condescending about Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

This is not diplomacy. It is dominance theatre, performed for an audience that has learned to applaud...

...A growing body of clinicians has tried, for a decade now, to name what they are watching.

Yale-trained forensic psychiatrist Bandy Lee organised dozens of colleagues to warn that Trump showed signs of “malignant normality” – a society persuaded to accept a leader’s false reality simply because he insists on it.

The diagnosis itself is older than Trump. It was coined by Erich Fromm, the German psychoanalyst who fled the Nazis, to describe Hitler and Stalin: grandiosity fused with paranoia, sadism, and an absence of conscience.

Psychoanalyst Otto Kernberg later refined the concept.

Harvard historian Elizabeth Lunbeck reached an even harder conclusion: Trump’s narcissism is not an obstacle to his power. It is the source of it.

“His narcissism is a resource for – not an impediment to – his electoral and political success,” she wrote.

Lord Acton said it more simply, a century earlier: power corrupts.

This is where the American story stops being merely American. A president freed from electoral accountability – a second term, no re-election to fear – is a president freed from the last check that mattered....

Trump is way out of line. There is absolutely no provocation for any country in the Mideast by Oman.

This isn't even a maybe, this is an outrageous threat. It is in the Wall Street Journal, it is difficult to state it is propaganda.

The Republican Congress refused to act to rein in their out of control president and now this.

I don't know how Trump can make that threat, but, he is just stupid enough to try.

Benjamin Netanyahu's office (click here) has said that the Israeli Prime Minister and representatives of the so-called Board of Peace "had deep and constructive discussions" in Jerusalem on Monday.

"It was agreed to establish two working groups, one on disarmament and demilitarization of Gaza, which both Israel and the Board of Peace are determined should be prompt and completed before any reconstruction happens in Gaza," Netanyahu's office said in a statement seen by DW's Tania Krämer in Jerusalem.

"A second working group will focus on sanitation, clean water and other public health issues for the people of Gaza and which also impact the people of Israel," it said.

AFP cited an Israeli official as saying that Netanyahu had also asked that a US general supervise Hamas surrendering its weapons. How exactly Hamas is to be disarmed, when, and what happens to the weapons has been a recurring sticking point in the talks.

Surrendering of weapons are boots on the ground.

Similarly, the Reuters news agency cited a Board of Peace official as describing the talks with Netanyahu as "lengthy, in depth and very productive." The unnamed official reportedly said agreement was reached on a path forward, though Reuters did not immediately make clear if they had offered any further details.

The organization was yet to comment publicly.

Trump has no intentions of peace in the Mideast. He wants the oil and he doesn't care how he gets it.

If he will bomb a peaceful country like Oman he will bomb anyone.

These bozos want it that bad. Look what they have done already to the USA military.

There is nothing here for Democrats to worry about.

Democrats need to be genuine with a focus on the country and the rule of law. 

Mayor Zohran Mamdani won the election because he proved himself before the election. He has a history of understanding the little guy and the weight (unfair weight) government has in their lives. He is legitimate. 

I realize the political right is demonizing Muslims, but, they have done that for a long time. Heck, even former President Obama was dogged by demands for a birth certificate and his middle name of Hussein, after his father. And that is another thing, what kind of name is Barak anyway? 

President Obama was one of the most gifted presidents of the modern era. He was a decorated Harvard grad. That means something. He was well known as a people advocate from his service to the people of Chicago. Dare I say, Mamdani has a bit of those same foot steps in his advocacy.

The election that concerns me is the Democratic primary in Michigan. It was very close in the outcome and quite frankly it is because the Republicans believed they could sabotage the Democrats by placing their primary votes and vengeance with El-Sayed. Abdul, as he prefers to be called, is highly qualified and very much interested in the well being of the Michigan people.

That poll was the day after his primary. He is popular in Michigan. He will do well. The troubling part is this trend in 50-50 split in the vote. It is frequently from large PAC investment in elections. We are looking at a president that is amoral when it comes to interfering with elections. He definitely interfered in Georgia during the 2020 elections and remained in circulation rather than in jail.

Islamophobia is at work this election. O'Keefe (click here) is pretending to be an authority when in fact he is a propagandist void of fact. I am certain he gets plenty of money from people who want him to be a superstar in political propaganda, but, his videos are hideous in their content. That isn't going to stop him from lying and pushing the idea Islam is an evil religion. OMG, the country is being taken over by bin Laden minions.

Democrats have the well being of people, this country, and the future well in their sites and that is their strength. They need to be genuine and focused on the voters and the trouble they are facing.

This worries me. There is far more increased gun violence in the USA. Recently, there has been an entire family wiped out, except for one survivor by tensions between what was considered friends. There have been at least four murder suicides involving husbands and wives. These type of murders scream economic tensions. There is something that sets it in motion and I have to wonder how many are mimic events. Media plays a role in mimic events to some degree, but, there is no responsibility as their is no maliciousness.

When husbands are killing their wives and children, especially when it is repeated over and over it is a trend. Rather than a family having a good quality of life they may be facing foreclosure of a house or loss of income or increased costs be it medical costs or educational costs. This is a trend. Trends this dangerous can lead to far more issues in a society and the opening of the new school year is approaching depending on the state where one resides.

This election is facing a very troubled country for many reasons. The Democrats have always been a stronghold of understanding and the need for solving problems and not causing them.

The money needs  to be in place for Democrats, but, it is best to remember the real assault begins by Republicans the last week before the election when Americans are focused on their votes. The Republican operatives use social media to lay down the fear to act on in voting long before then, but, the pressure comes at the last minute in many instances. That is not a well educated electorate ready to vote to benefit their own outcomes. That is a knee jerk electorate emotionally responding to propaganda and lies.

The stunning success of Zohran Mamdani, (click here) a 33-year-old self-described democratic socialist, in the race for New York City mayor has exposed anew the fiery divisions plaguing the Democratic Party as it struggles to repair its brand nearly half a year into Donald Trump’s presidency.

A fresh round of infighting erupted among Democratic officials, donors and political operatives on Wednesday, a day after Mamdani’s leading opponent, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, conceded the Democratic primary. Mamdani appears on a glide path to the nomination, though ranked choice vote counting will determine the final outcome next week....

LOL, the Big Bully

Trump is flirting with Putin. Personally I don’t think Putin is fooled by such gestures. Trump is pretending to have the power to destroy the border between North and South Korea in interrupting military exercises there. Trump is now in violation of long standing alliances and treaties.

Currently, the chances of diplomatic successes between the North and South are never better. North Korea has taken on the challenge of improving the quality of life of people in cities and improved the prestige and sophistication of the country. The answer to peace on the peninsula is strength and not weakness. That is the case with China as well.

Leaders of great countries do not want damage to the country with so much accomplishment achieved by so many of the country’s people. Peace treaties actually take on value in ways that preserve civilization and not just an agreement not to kill each other. Two strong countries can appreciate the culture and economic diversity that works for them while securing same by valuing peace and quality of life.

Trump is a treasonist by nature because if his cowardess. His cowardess of appeasement rather than strength is obvious. He does not stand up to America’s enemy, he stands up to the helpless and allies. He pretends that is strength but in reality he fears his bomb shelter ballroom won’t proceed to match his plans of nuclear wars and annihilation of civilizations.

Allies need to stand up to Trump. France is correct. Evidently in the face of disgusting conditions and illegal orders USA military leaders don’t have the character to do their proper roles of country and constitution first. That is true of Republican politicians as well. They are endangering the health and wellbeing of the very soldiers that are the basis of infrastructure strength to carry out those illegal orders. Violating treaties are illegal orders. Somehow Hegseth and Trump think the metal and mechanisms can operate and float without the health, morale, and labor of the individual soldier. The soldiers are treated as slaves, not the volunteer heroes that love their country.

What does the country do with a president paranoid about his own safety?

The ballroom is a facade for a military unit on White House grounds as well as a bomb shelter when incoming nukes are expected in retaliation.

Think about it.

Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu…

…are destroying the USA military. 

Trump is not allowed to alter the catapults of aircraft carriers. That is for the legislature.

Putin is no longer in Moscow, which is no surprise. Currently he is lusting after the occupied small islands off Japan. And what does Hegseth and Trump do? Rather than withdrawing from the Persian Gulf, he sends the Pacific aircraft carrier to the Middle East.

The Republican legislature is so lame they can’t begin to hold Hegseth and Trump responsible and remove them from office. The Republicans need to get out of their own way and do what is best for the country rather than their party before the circumstances we face are completely bizarre and out of control.

There is no honor in genocide.

Don't just breath a sigh of relief...

 ...file a complaint and demand prosecution.

The number of videos showing up whereby ICE agents are harassing American citizens in attempts to make arrests or worse (these guys are armed) are increasing and, must be recorded if possible and, then the recording taken to police to file a formal complaint. After the police report if hiring a lawyer is possible, do so, and sue the federal government and the particular agents involved.

THIS MUST BE DONE. There is no choice. American citizens should not have to fend off assaults (that is what this is, verbal in hopes of more) of ICE agents. Either they know what they are doing and BEHAVE appropriately or they don't. If they don't behave and have assaultive demeanor that is lawlessness.

IT IS POLICE BRUTALITY.

Americans are not used to this, don't become used to it. They are coming for everyone and anyone.

LOCATION AND BEHAVIOR WILL BEGIN THE PROCESS OF INVESTIGATION (cities and towns have investigative units) AND PROSECUTION. 

ICE agents hiding in plain sight without badges or facial recognition are no excuse. File the complaints and continue to file the complaints. 

Class action to stop the harassment and seek damages, emotional or otherwise, is a possibility. We have dead citizens already and ICE and the Trump administration don't seem interested in abiding by the law or learning from their mistakes.

Do not make empty threats or any threats against these bozos during the time of their bad actions; they are primed for confrontation. 

Don't be the reason.

Every military personnel should be refusing to follow illegal orders and this is definitely one of them.

Trump will use soldiers to attack citizens no differently than he is using ICE to attack innocent Americans. There is very little discrimination taking place with ICE. They are approaching and attempting to arrest American citizens at first opportunity.

The Justice Department (click here) on Friday issued a legal opinion giving the U.S. military broader powers to detain migrants accused of trespassing in areas that the Department of Defense controls as part of President Trump's crackdown at the southern border.

The opinion from the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel concerns large swaths of land near the U.S.-Mexico border that the second Trump administration has designated as "National Defense Areas" for the purposes of deterring illegal immigration.

While the military is generally prohibited from enforcing laws on domestic soil under the longstanding Posse Comitatus Act, the zones have allowed soldiers to detain migrants accused of entering the national defense areas, which are closed to civilians. The arrangement has allowed the Justice Department to prosecute those arrested in the zones for trespassing on military land.

In its opinion Friday, the Justice Department said military personnel can arrest individuals who leave national defense areas before they can be apprehended for trespassing....

We should all be concerned there is a methodology in the delay in reporting an election results.

Steve Kornacki does a great deal of election analysis. He is about as through as any of the "In the moment" analysts. This surprise on his part is an alarm everyone needs to pay attention.

It is illegal to interfere with a vote count. The entire idea Wisconsin which tends to be Democratically friendly would experience any kind of problem is highly suspicious of interference. There needs to be an investigation and if the government refuses to conduct one, including the State Bureau of Investigation, the people have to sue and have one conducted independently.

A parallel private, independent investigation should be conducted without interference. The DNC needs to be armed with their own methodology to challenge these immoral and illegal acts by Republicans. The Republicans will challenge every Democratic vote to attempt to delay and muddy up any results.

They are racketeers. Trump is still in the White House, isn't he?

Hegseth is still Secretary of Defense, isn't he?

"Addressing the Death of Travis New"

Better said, the people are complaining out loud and things are currently dangerous including the iife and quality of life of this independent journalist blogger.

I have been following the complaints of the people of West Virginia. They are highly significant and those running for office need to pay attention to the You Tube videos of this independent journalist as well as the YouTube videos by THE PEOPLE of West Virginia. 

A lot of what I am witnessing is racketeering at the local government issue. It is so entrenched it occupies most if not all of the law enforcement in that state. There is definitely deep corruption in a couple of counties in West Virginia. We are used to seeing that mess because of the coal companies, but, the problem this time are the tech companies and their data centers. I tried to address this separately without naming names in hopes that revealing the problem would be enough, but, it isn't.

The dangerous part comes from affiliation with a president that identifies with the racketeering. Trump literally allows the ideology of racketeering to be a way of governance. Racketeering is illegal, but, if the DOJ is looking the other way at the dictates of a criminal president then it is difficult to bring enough attention to the problem. 

I believe Travis New was murdered. There is no investigation to that effect. He is stated to have a drug overdose and in that the death is his accidental misfortune. That is grossly irresponsible.

The corruption in West Virginia is deep and definitely impacts the people's quality of life. Recently, Joe What's his name? The former Senator with a boat stuck his head out of the back allies of West Virginia to state he is interested in running for office again. Why? Because he actually think his BRAND is one of a good guy Democrat and can end the people's troubles with their water, noise pollution, ill health and tech data center invasion. That is such a lie. This racketeering in West Virginia did happen overnight. Joe Mansion knew about this corruption during his time in the USA Senate and often voted with Republicans. This corruption is so entrenched it definitely existed during his time in Congress.

JOE MANSION DID NOTHING TO HELP THESE PEOPLE.

The people of West Virginia need to find young people interested in running for government and elect them. The problem of course is the racketeering and now there is a man dead who was speaking out along with so many others.

This independent journalist is doing a great job and is rather fearless. His brave approach to exposing this corruption and racketeering was directly from the brave approach of the people. He wanted to be a megaphone for them. I believe he still does. He has been harassed by the cops. 

There needs to be public hearings taken seriously that result in written complaints due to the corruption and racketeering. The people of West Virginia have suffered enough with poor governance that endanger their lives and health.

Kennedy Center Board

In my opinion the Kennedy family should sue every blasted member of the board of the Kennedy Center for the Arts. It is unconstitutional to ATTEMPT to rename the monument built in memory of a great man and president.

I can imagine Trump calling up his good buddy Clarence; oh excuse me Ginny; and asking what kind of legal maneuvering can occur so Donny gets his way. 

IT IS CALLED RACKETEERING!

Donald John Trump is a criminal and he likes it that way.

Every one of the board members received a decision about their ILLEGAL act from the Supreme Court. Charges should be filed and every one of them arrested and tried in subversion of the Rule of Law.

ICE is out of control again

 While I thought the move to airports was to eliminate the opportunity of poorly trained agents to kill Americans, the latest episodes and ideas are completely out of line and violates civil rights.

1. The agents are using harassing behaviors to attempt to reveal the identity of people to decide on the spot if the person is an illegal immigrant. In a recent episode there were at least half a dozen agents that entered a private job cite looking for a person with a name. While a couple agents went hunting for the person with a name the other agents interrupted the workers on their jobs while trying them with suspicion and harassment techniques. One agent stated, “We got him (referring to the man with a name) and at that point and only that point the other agents stopped harassing American citizens on their jobs while trying. I remind these agents have at the very least side arms. The American citizens don’t.

Now, the agency is thinking of deploying agents with electronic gloves. These gloves are basically stun guns. All an agent has to do is touch someone and an electric shock travels through the body as a stun gun would. It is a form of torture. 

These techniques are dangerously illegal. They will torture and kill people. 

Corruption of academic achievement.

These are public monies and now private enterprise wants to take over our public institutions of higher learning. The CEOs will never think twice about whether they should interfere with the education of others, they will just jump in and seek to drain the knowledge of centuries of educational excellence. 

This is not only a lousy idea, but, pure corruption of our educational system.

The US National Science Foundation (NSF) (click here) has kicked off a sweeping effort to deepen the ties between PhD students and industry. The pilot programme will provide participants with hands-on industry research experience and funding from universities, companies and the NSF. It will serve more than 250 students, who will receive funding for four years.

The programme aims to “help graduates better apply their research to real-world challenges”, an NSF spokesperson said. The effort will give companies the chance “to invest directly into how our doctoral researchers are trained”, Michael Kratsios, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, said in a statement, noting that the majority of US recipients of PhDs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics do not remain in academia.

Researchers expressed a mixture of excitement and concern about the programme, called the Industry-Integrated PhD (I-PhD) Scholars Program, which was announced in July....

This so called pilot program by the NSF is in contradiction of a Senate bill prohibiting any federal monies to be controlled in the fields of research. So, considering the universities involved are primarily public institutions this NSF initiative is basically illegal.

Most universities have a Provost that leads the education of the students. There are also Faculty Senates comprised of the professors of the university to ensure the quality and direction of the education they teach.

The U.S. Senate early today (click here) approved a temporary spending bill that blocks the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) from implementing proposed changes in the rules affecting trillions of dollars of federal spending. Opponents have said the changes would harm the U.S. research enterprise, and they have sparked a massive outcry from scientists.

The bipartisan (90-6) vote is aimed at avoiding a governmentwide shutdown on 1 October if legislators have not approved a budget by that date, which is when the 2027 fiscal year begins. The bill, called a continuing resolution, would allow agencies to continue to operate at current spending levels until 11 December. Last month the House of Representatives adopted a similar measure, and the two versions must be reconciled when legislators return next month after a lengthy summer recess....

Corruption of Higher Education is an ongoing concern globally. The initiative below is from an effort in 2018 to promote through example the best of protecting education from derailing professional standards. Education is vital to any country that seeks prosperity. Commercializing education removes integrity and makes education another fluid commodity based in whims of industry.

IIEP, together with the Council of Europe, (click here) organized a study visit on Higher education institutions in Switzerland: Integrity in higher education from 2 to 4 July 2018. The visit enabled a group of high-level officials from the Kosovo Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MEST), the University of Pristina, the University of Gjakova, the State Council for Quality Assurance, and the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency to learn from the Swiss experience in addressing the challenge of ensuring integrity and combating in higher education....

The reason by be found in Antarctica. I believe the ice loss in Antarctica may be effecting the anchoring of the South American Plate.

PEREIRA, Colombia (AP) — Tons of aid from regional partners (click here) began to roll into Colombia on Wednesday, as the search for survivors in the rubble of powerful earthquake grew more desperate after the temblor razed buildings, buckled roads and crushed cars.

The devastation has tested Colombia’s new president, Abelardo de la Espriella, and his government as it scrambles to respond to the disaster and civil society as it pushes to provide aid to the most affected communities....

A lot have been going on in the Southern Ocean. There has been a loss of whale song by long standing cetacean biologists that record the dynamics. The loss of whale song is an indication the species are under stress and quite possibly a loss of individuals. That is worrisome for species that are endangered.

The real worry is the loss and the food source for these mammals, namely phytoplankton. Phytoplankton supplies a large measure of oxygen of Earth's atmosphere.

The loss of whale song is also duplicated as a concern in the Pacific Ocean. 

As to the loss of ice in Antarctica, the point of view that it can effect the South American Plate is a valid point of view. The ice of Antarctica does act as an anchor to the continents it touches. 

If this link exists and is validates it means the deaths are attributed to the climate crisis deaths.

Trump cannot dictate medical policy.

The guy is an idiot. Most of Kennedy’s decisions are highly litigable on the basis of “pretending to be a doctor.”

There has been a trend in the medical-business community that has existed since DRGs, that puts pressure on the medical society if this country to change their behaviors because of the purse strings. I am going to blog about that because it has reached a point where doctors are being muscled out of their practices by highly unethical behaviors, which are probably illegal, of insurance companies.

But, Trump cannot dictate medical care including vaccines. This mess with vaccines started as a right wing political rant because of connective tissue disease (primarily MS) and autism. Supposedly these terrible problems all started with vaccines. Kennedy’s billionaire financial backer that forced him out of the race for president to back Trump has some sort of ax to grind and is probably throwing money around. Again.

At one time the FDA was the sole decision maker about the issues Kennedy and Trump seem hell bent on ruling over. Wall Street wasn’t happy with the decisions at the FDA and pointed to different decisions made in Europe about the same compounds. Money was to be made. So, advisory panels were created. They have been effective, BUT, appointees began to be political and polluted some of the process. Now, Trump’s administration is polluting the practice of medicine in a different way.

The fact is Wall Street is not a big fan of the AMA. Or pediatric organizations. So, drug companies have provided incentives to prescribe new products, etc. That is very aggressive behavior. Not all is bad as is the case with oxybutynin and it’s long term use link to dementia. The new medication or better said the replacement, Myrbetriq, is far better without the side effects. The problem, which is obvious in this case, is the cost to the patient. So, the old drugs of choice remain in high demand RATHER than bringing the cost of the new medication down and expanding it’s base of use so the same if not more profits can be achieved. 

So, now, there are a lot of nasty actions by Trump and Kennedy that is supposed to improve the quality of life of Americans and their children.

WRONG.

These bozos believe natural immunity is best and everyone should get sick to become immune. Here again they are dealing government policy that kills, maims, shortens life spans all in the name of reducing costs to corporations that pay for vaccines. 

Trump and his minions, like Hegseth just can’t help themselves and carry out experiments on Americans that have long been decided. Like, this whole testosterone thing.

Hegseth wants the information of the testosterone levels of an entire military to entertain his imagination and religious dogma. 

1. How many military males and females are on hormone therapy?

2. Can effeminate men have lower testosterone levels?

3. What is the optimal levels of testosterone in a Navy Seal?

It is all based in bias and discrimination and quite frankly religious bigotry. 

The new ideology about vaccines Trump is pushing lacks credibility and has no basis in USA policy. It needs an investigation as well as litigation.

Which is more profitable, vaccination or treatment in a pediatric intensive care unit?

Trump and Hegseth are treating our military as their personal slaves.

This is Trump’s politics for winning in the Midterms. It has nothing to do with national security or USA interests. There were pirates to worry about, but, never a need for a blockade.

The USA military is mistreated and disrespected by the Secretary of Defense and the Commander and Chief. The families are being completely disregarded. 

To contrast, under the Obama Administration, the First and Second Ladies had their thumbs on the pulse of the military families. The families were regularly hosted to the White House for respite and the belonging the children felt in their 

sacrifice for parents who weren't necessarily their at all the special occasions.

This treatment by the Trump Administration is abuse and dangerous. The Navy needs to come home now. The Iran War is wrong and the occupation of the Persian Gulf MUST stop now!
