The past couple of days Trump and FOX News and now Guiliani are saying it was NOT CAMPAIGN FUNDS. They are trying to CREATE an alternate dialogue with the public.
Trump used his own funds for everything, evidently, including hush money because he invested his own monies into the campaign.
I don't believe a jury would allow such blatant manipulation of such facts that it is okay for a billionaire to pay off lovers to prevent them speaking out regarding their relationships before his election. I don't know of many candidates that have personal funds set aside for hiding adulterous relationships. I don't believe that is a legitimate expense of a self-funded campaign.
Best I can find and recall is that Citizens' United is about campaign ads and not hush money.

Anything I read says the same thing. A corporation can spend all the money it wants on ads to promote themselves in a campaign season; ie: petroleum industry. But, there is no unlimited spending on hush money.

The Boy Scouts of America (click here) is changing the name of one of its iconic programs, after 108 years.
The historic youth organization announced today that their program for children 11 to 17 years old will be known as "Scouts BSA," starting in February 2019. Part of the reason for the change is that now girls will be invited to join the older kids' group -- and have the opportunity to advance to the highest rank, Eagle Scout.
The parent organization name will remain the Boy Scouts of America and the Cub Scouts program will keep its title, as well....

However, barring the issue of having a limited number of women in sports around the world, Asian women have an added dilemma to face, and that is the demand for women in sports to also look “glamorous”, so as to increase viewers’ interest in women’s sports.
There has been a demand for attractive female presenters in sports, giving looks preference over knowledge and interest in the game itself, and unfortunately, this phenomenon has spread out to the field as well. The case in point is a new advertisement featuring Mahira Khan which suggests that smooth and hairless skin is perhaps as important as being good at the game itself.

Donald Trump's administration had re-asserted (click here) its backing for Israel’s policy of secrecy about its own nuclear capabilities, as the Israeli government seeks to persuade the world Iran "lied" about not having a clandestine nuclear weapons programme.
The US government recently rebuffed Egypt’s renewed attempts to press Israel into showing its hand, suggesting that cannot happen until Israel is recognised by all of its neighbours.
Egypt wants Israel to sign up to a 1995 treaty on disarming the region and to submit to measures the International Atomic Energy Authority uses to ensure nuclear weapons are not spread.
"Such efforts are mistaken and unproductive," the US said in an submission to a preparatory committee last week, which claimed they still supported the treaty but adopted Israel’s position that regional conditions were not suitable....
I think everyone knows that Trump has been courting the Saudi Crown Prince.
I think we all know why now; besides; asking for a piece of the Kingdom's wealth; which Trump did, by the way; the Saudi Crown Prince is a gift to Israel.
This isn't a one time casual meeting. Trump has convinced the Crowned Prince he can help modernize Saudi Arabia. That was begun years ago by the current King.
Trump regularly harasses the Crown Prince to continue to be assured when he becomes King, his loyalty is assured. Saudi Arabia has some of the largest Air Force numbers in the Middle East. It would hamper Israel's plans if it attacked Iran.

King Salman (click here) calls for Jerusalem to be capital of Palestine and a renewed peace process after Israeli security forces killed 16 Palestinians last week during a demonstration along the Israel-Gaza border
King Salman reiterated Saudi Arabia's support for a Palestinian state after his son and heir apparent said Israelis were entitled to live peacefully on their own land - a rare statement by an Arab leader.
The king also emphasised the need to advance the peace process in a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday night, made after Israeli security forces killed 16 Palestinians last week during a demonstration along the Israel-Gaza border.

Pompeo has an attitude. He believes and openly states it is up to the Palestinians to join the peace process. In this visit to Israel, Pompeo never once reached out to Palestinian leaders.
Pompeo is turning the Middle East peace process into a unilateral process. He is providing a platform without negotiations. He believes the Palestinians are impossible to deal with, won't recognize them as a legitimate authority until they deal with Israel his way.
I believe Trump and his band of merry men are giving Israel carte blanc to do as it pleases. As excuses for such actions, which have cost lives of young Palestinians at the border, Pompeo will site the lack of engagement by Palestine in the peace process. You know, the legal doctrine of "you have 30 days to reply."
This Trump administration is trouble and I firmly believe Trump will look at "W"'s move into Iraq and see the same justification, legal or not.

Tel Aviv, Israel — Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (click here) came to Israel Sunday in the midst of the worst crisis in relations between Israelis and Palestinians in years, but he did not meet a single Palestinian representative and mentioned them publicly once.
For decades, American diplomats saw themselves as brokers between the two sides, and secretaries of state typically met Palestinian representatives on regional tours like this one. When relations between the two sides deteriorated, the United States sought to bridge the divide.

No one at the State Department called Palestinian leaders to ask for a get-together with Mr. Pompeo, according to Palestinian officials. And that may be because the Americans knew the answer they would have gotten: No....

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) (click here) says it has "no credible" evidence Iran was working on developing a nuclear "explosive device" after 2009 and that the UN's nuclear watchdog considered the issue "closed" after it was presented in a report in December 2015.
The 2015 report "stated that the agency had no credible indications of activities in Iran relevant to the development of a nuclear explosive device after 2009. Based on the director-general's report, the board of governors declared that its consideration of this issue was closed," the IAEA said in a statement on May 1.
"In line with standard IAEA practice, the IAEA evaluates all safeguards-relevant information available to it. However, it is not the practice of the IAEA to publicly discuss issues related to any such information," it added....

There is something Americans don't hear too often. Mao Zedong's only grandson is dead in an accident on a tour bus.

Chinese communist (click here) revolutionary Mao Zedong's only grandson Mao Xinyu was possibly killed in a bus crash in North Korea in April that killed over 30 Chinese, according to a report from French radio.
Xinyu, the son of Mao Zedong's second son Anqing who died fighting in the Korean War, was possibly one of 32 Chinese tourists who died when a bus fell from a bridge in North Hwanghae Province, Radio France Internationale's Chinese version reported on April 30, citing a Chinese source.
The report said Xinyu, a Major General in the People's Liberation Army of China, and most of the other Chinese tourists were the children of Chinese soldiers who fought in the Korean War.
The accident also killed four North Koreans.
The tourists died reportedly on their way back from a cemetery in Hoechang County in South Pyongan Province that was for Chinese soldiers who died during the Korean War. Mao Zedong's eldest son Anying was buried there, which leads to the supposition Xinyu could have visited the cemetery to pay tribute to his uncle....

Kim Jong-un consoles a Chinese tourist who was injured in Sunday's bus accident in North Korea.
North Korean (click here) leader Kim Jong-un visited the Chinese embassy in Pyongyang to express his "bitter sorrow" over the deaths of Chinese tourists in a bus accident in his country, by visiting the Chinese embassy in Pyongyang, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Tuesday.
His visit came only hours after the accident, an unusual move. It was also Kim's first visit to the Chinese embassy in his country since taking power in late 2011. It was unusual for the North's state-run propaganda media to report negative news about the regime.
The rare response reflects the rapidly improving Pyongyang-Beijing relations, following Kim's visit to Beijing and talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping last month.
"Kim visited the Chinese Embassy here at around 6:30 a.m. on April 23 and expressed his condolences over a large number of casualties among Chinese tourists in a bus crash," the KCNA reported....

Chinese communist (click here) revolutionary Mao Zedong's only grandson Mao Xinyu was possibly killed in a bus crash in North Korea in April that killed over 30 Chinese, according to a report from French radio.
Xinyu, the son of Mao Zedong's second son Anqing who died fighting in the Korean War, was possibly one of 32 Chinese tourists who died when a bus fell from a bridge in North Hwanghae Province, Radio France Internationale's Chinese version reported on April 30, citing a Chinese source.
The report said Xinyu, a Major General in the People's Liberation Army of China, and most of the other Chinese tourists were the children of Chinese soldiers who fought in the Korean War.
The accident also killed four North Koreans.
The tourists died reportedly on their way back from a cemetery in Hoechang County in South Pyongan Province that was for Chinese soldiers who died during the Korean War. Mao Zedong's eldest son Anying was buried there, which leads to the supposition Xinyu could have visited the cemetery to pay tribute to his uncle....

I demand an ethics investigation into Donald Trump's chronic lying. He has forced physicians to memorize the lies he wants the public to hear.The American people have the right to be treated with dignity and given the truth regarding any subject a President faces.
At the very least, once the facts regarding Trump's forced lies by his physicians are recorded, President Trump should face at the very least admonishment by the US Congress for his behavior.

President Trump (click here) continues to own hundreds of businesses around the world, and he has staffed his administration with wealthy people who have ties to a complex web of companies. Those financial entanglements have prompted government ethics experts to raise concerns about conflicts of interest.
They are worried that this president is violating the U.S. Constitution's Emoluments Clause, which bars elected officials from benefiting from foreign governments. Also, in various legal filings and lawsuits, they have raised questions about whether the financial interests of the president and his appointees may be influencing public policy....
There is something very wrong here. The White House physician needs review for memorizing a report given to the press about the President's health that was flamboyant and false. Trump's personal physician, Dr. Harold Bornstein has experienced the same demands by his patient. Dr. Bornstein's office was illegally raided by a Trump's bodyguard and removed all records of Donald Trump's health.

President Donald Trump’s longtime bodyguard (click here) showed up without notice at the office of Trump’s personal doctor shortly after inauguration and took all of the President’s medical records, the doctor told NBC News on Tuesday.
Then-White House aide Keith Schiller, who previously served as Trump’s personal bodyguard, Trump Organization lawyer Alan Garten and another “large man” came unannounced and took the files on the morning of Feb. 3, 2017, Dr. Harold Bornstein said.
“They must have been here for 25 or 30 minutes. It created a lot of chaos,” Bornstein said....
This is nothing, but, thuggery. These are serious character issues.
Dr. Bornstein didn't have a lawyer at the ready to fend off Trump's bodyguard assault in removing records from his office. Dr. Bornstein had no idea what is expected when a person if running for President of the USA. He was worked over by Trump's personal bodyguard at Trump's insistence. I doubt Keith Schiller knew whether or not he was acting legally.
This mess has to end. The White House physician owes the American people an apology.

On Monday, after a beautiful weekend, strong winds out of the south will blow in warm air and bring high temperatures into the low 80s.
While Monday’s weather was enjoyable, it is the recipe for a stormy rest of the work week.
No rain fell on Monday but a brief band of storms rolled through the metro on Tuesday morning. Stronger chances for storms are expected to hold off until after 10 p.m. on Tuesday and stretch through the overnight hours leading into early Wednesday morning.
Storms are expected to originate in northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas when storms over north-central Kansas, southeastern Nebraska and southwestern Iowa move through the area....

Weather warnings in northwestern France were lifted early on Tuesday, May 1, but not before parts of the country witnessed conditions more usually seen in the depths of winter, while a tornado was spotted in the Marne.
Residents in parts of Normandy were surprised to wake up to a few centimetres of snow Monday, as temperatures dipped to around freezing....
I think it is important to realize only a small percentage of Americans believe abortion should be banned.
What I found most interesting is that British voters are concerned about the mother's mental health in making such decisions.

- serious physical handicaps,
- serious genetic problems,
- serious mental defects
- abortion for social reasons, including:
- poverty,
- mother unable to cope with a child (or another child),
- mother being too young to cope with a child
- abortion as a matter of government policy (the government reasons are outrageous, lends itself to genocide, but, would explain the expression by Trump of "high quality families). Some of this stuff going on with the Trump administration is worrisome. I think his statements, policies and laws relate to a new social order. That is fatal stuff.

Most opponents of abortion agree that abortion for the sake of the mother's health can be morally acceptable if there is a real risk of serious damage to the mother.
Abortion for social reasons is usually least acceptable to opponents.
No one knows exactly who they are getting from the Republican right wing.
This isn't the only anti-semite in the RNC. The article sites two others. The people have to get out to vote. This is a mid-term election and people have to turn out to vote. What is scarier than the fact Patrick Little is proud of his anti-semitism, is the fact he can win the right to run against Senator Diane Feinstein with 200,000 votes.

What slipped past the television station was the small fact that Little is anything but a mainstream political candidate.
The clean-cut millenial preaches virulent anti-Semitism, making America “free from Jews” and creating “a government that makes counter-Semitism central to all aims of the state.”
Among the long list of racist and outlandish proposals in his political platform: “The immediate dismissal of the necessary number of Jewish jurists that would reduce their representation in federal courts and the supreme court to a number representative of their percentage of the US population.” In addition, he wants “a permanent ban on providing foreign aid to Israel, including a death penalty for any politician introducing a bill that would lead to foreign aid to Israel.” He also proposes “formally making [the] US’s stance on the holocaust to be that it is a Jewish war atrocity propaganda hoax that never happened.”...

North and South Korea are very serious about their future on the Korean Peninsula. In another gesture of peace, South Korea shut down loudspeakers that were used to broadcast radio message of freedom and democracy; similar in content to "Radio Free Europe." North Korea aligned itself in the same time zone as the South.
All the naysayers are "W"rong. Very wrong. South Korea does not have nuclear weapons and the North no longer wants to be different than it's other half.
Kim Jong Un wants this and with the election of Moon there was no doubt he had a partner. When North and South Korea unify and the people of the South move North and the people of the North moves South there will no longer be a distinctive target for The West. The plan is brilliant.
I also understand the closing of the nuclear research tunnels by North Korea will be televised. I think Un is brilliant and does not let propaganda creep in at every turn.

Now, the jawbone of one of those casualties — belonging to a person who was less than a mile from the bomb's hypocenter — is helping researchers determine how much radiation was absorbed by the bones of the victims, a new study finds.
The amount is staggering: Analyses show that the jawbone's radiation dose was about 9.46 grays (Gy). A Gy is the absorption of one joule of radiation energy per kilogram of matter, which in this case is bone.
