The General Services Administration (GSA) (click here) official who is holding up the transition of President-elect Joe Biden has a long history of pro-Trump partisanship, a former government ethics director said.

Walter Shaub Jr., who was the director of the US Office of Government Ethics between 2013 and 2017, accused GSA's head, Emily Murphy, of seemingly "putting her loyalty to Trump over her duty to the American people" in a scathing article for The New York Review of Books.

Murphy, an appointee of President Donald Trump, is the GSA official charged with formally recognizing the victor in a US presidential election, which allows a formal transition process to begin....

So, let me see if I get this right. An appointee to a powerful agency such as the General Services Administration has the influence to help a desperate president. So, breaking the law is nothing, the USA Rule of Law is nothing, ethics is nothing, but, the only thing that is important is THE PARTY. In breaking the law, such an appointee is rewarded for breaking the law by being given a better job in a Republican lead company. 

Did I get that right? 

There is no Rule of Law for Republicans, there is just power and how well it is USED to obtain what Republicans want. 

Right? 

Wow. I think we have finally been able to plainly see how Republican corruption works. The same corruption that brought a Russian oligarch to Kentucky. The same corruption that is being counted on in Georgia by Lindsey Graham to throw "the vote" of the people out to give Trump an illegal victory.

This is the Republican Party. They have ethical standards, they have no respect for the Rule of Law and the sure as heck have no respect for the American people.

Here it is. It could not be plainer. The people don't matter. The vote doesn't matter. The ONLY thing that matters is that Republicans maintain power so they can pass laws or obstruct laws that benefit their cronies that will no doubt provide the job to Emily Murphy when she obstructs the lawful passage of the presidency to the Honorable President-Elect Joe Biden. 

Here it is staring directly at every American in the face. Emily Murphy is invested in her own purposes and not that of the demands by the people of the USA for the job she currently holds.

When does it end, never? The Republicans are to hold power over the head of honest Americans, their health, well being, and choice for the president forever. I don't think so. This corruption and law-breaking need to end and end now!

Joseph Biden does not need a transition into the White House. He is capable on day one. That is what is so remarkable about this election. There was absolutely no one that was better qualified and ready in the way necessary for the presidency of the USA than the Former Vice President and President-Elect Joe Biden. If he transitioned with Trump, it would have been more of a problem than if he just takes the office on January 20th.

I am not worried. 

Joe is ready. 

Joe is more ready for the presidency than Trump could ever be, even as he serves his final days.

Wilmington - President-elect Joe Biden (click here) on Monday outlined his plans to alleviate economic inequality and boost the U.S. economy but said any structural reforms depend first on reining in the coronavirus pandemic.

“Once we shut down the virus and deliver economic relief to workers and businesses, then we can start to build back better than before," Biden said during remarks in Wilmington, Delaware.,,,

Donal John Trump has no distribution strategy. He only believes in capitalism and that will dictate the distribution and availability, Trump’s administration is incapable of compassion to any American. More deaths are just is what it is.

Joe Biden needs to set up vaccine distribution now if he can. There is no transition for a reason.

The ACA was supposed to be cancelled by now. There are no plans for every American to receive a vaccine. There is no law requiring it.

The vaccine may not be applied to injection methods of the USA military. The METHOD of injection and the mechanism used for these new vaccines may be very specific. The company needs to specify the method of injection. There is no playing with this.

Joe is the taking over a disassembled government.

McConnell needs to be ready to serve the people. Obstruction is not an option.

 ...SARS-CoV-2 can be transmitted by the very wet eye. People that wear corrective lens for their eyesight already have a layer of protection with those glasses. The glasses need to be cleaned regularly but they are a form of protection.

For those that don't wear corrective eyeglasses, there are fashion glasses and/or fairly inexpensive face shields.

Face shields have various types as well. I saw some people at a Catholic Mass ceremony wearing this with a pivot at the top. This enabled them to raise the face shield at the time of communion while social distancing. So, there are all kinds of protections for the eyes and this is just one type.

No one is laughing. Any place I found myself face coverings were taken seriously. Sometimes people will advise each other if noticed that a face mask is not covering the nose for example. This is all very serious health protection.

Those administering the vaccine (giving the shot) need to be responsible for STORAGE TEMPERATURE REQUIREMENTS.

Those administering the vaccine will have the greatest investment in proper storage. The security around the storage temperatures should receive a high priority. This is a new type of vaccine-derived with techniques used with mRNA. It will be important to protect every drop of the vaccine produced. That includes the production plants.

Wall Street is going crazy as to which company will be the jewel of all jewels when it comes to these vaccines. It only shows how completely foolish investment agencies and banks are when it comes to understanding governance. They aren't capable of governance, but, only greed.

The fact of the matter is every company that produces a viable vaccine will be important. There is no one particular company that has the inside track. I held Moderna as a special case because it is, that doesn't mean other companies aren't going to have very viable solutions as well. Moderna is a breakthrough company and it's future, like it's past, is going to be highly important to the wellness of people. I am more than thrilled this company has succeeded. 

This is a time when every company has put forward it's best effort. They are all needed. We have seen some vaccines with adverse results, that doesn't mean a very good vaccine will not be discovered and effective.

I would encourage every company currently involved in vaccine discovery to continue on this path into their future. They have embarked on a principle that protects human life and they do not know exactly where their scientists will take them. I would expect every viable vaccine to be marketed successfully and distributed with great success to people. There are nearly eight billion people in the world today. That is a lot of vaccine and we MUST ELIMINATE this virus from the face of Earth. Don't stop now!

Moderna (click here) is the second company to report preliminary results from a large trial testing a vaccine. But there are still months to go before it will be widely available to the public.

The drugmaker Moderna announced on Monday that its coronavirus vaccine was 94.5 percent effective, based on an early look at the results from its large, continuing study.

Researchers said the results were better than they had dared to imagine. But the vaccine will not be widely available for months, probably not until spring.

Moderna is the second company to report preliminary data on an apparently successful vaccine, offering hope in a surging pandemic that has infected more than 53 million people worldwide and killed more than 1.2 million. Pfizer, in collaboration with BioNTech, was the first, reporting one week ago that its vaccine was more than 90 percent effective.

The need is urgent. U.S. cases are soaring, setting new records every day. There have been more than 11 million cases and 246,000 deaths. The disease is killing more than 1,100 Americans a day, and the last million cases occurred in just six days. Some states and cities are reinstating lockdowns, restricting gatherings and closing schools once again....

The Chinese "Tik Tok" is used for Opposition Research.

Russia has tried to mimic USA's power within it's society for a long time. Putin has tried just about everything, so what is left is to control society through cyberwarfare.

China is more about the economy and how to control the USA economy and/or mimic it enough to outperform the USA economy and instill Chinese currency as the world standard.

No matter how one looks at Tik Tok it is about information. That information is readily available to anyone that cares to seek it out. The bigger issue is that in order to use the app there is a cost to be paid and that is true for any online service. The service has the right to obtain whatever information it can to use for its own purposes. 

Tik Tok is a Chinese product. Remove it from whatever electronic device it is on in the USA. If Europe allows it then remove it there as well. There was supposed to be a deadline to allow Tik Tok into the USA, but, the spineless administration of Trump never carried through with it. It must be service his purpose as well. That alone is a reason to remove it from any personal electronic devices.

It is amazing to realize Edward Snowden is banished from the USA to Russia, only to realize Tik Tok has taken over. All that scandal on Wiki has no basis in legal courts since the American people decided Tik Tok can have whatever information it wants. Amazing. Simple ignorance and what the USA government wants from them doesn't amount to anything close to what China gets from Americans every day.

The Trump administration (click here) was set to ban TikTok, the wildly popular Chinese-owned mobile phone application, until Friday when the short-form video service was granted a two-week reprieve by the U.S. government to find an American buyer. That means TikTok will keep running on 100 million American devices.

And that's been the administration's worry, claiming that TikTok, "Automatically captures vast swaths of information from its users… potentially allowing China to track the locations of federal employees… conduct corporate espionage" or even "blackmail." President-elect Biden has called the Chinese-owned app "a matter of genuine concern." TikTok says that's all "unfounded," that it's a platform for creativity and free expression. So we wanted to know if TikTok is merely a pawn in the great power rivalry between the U.S. and China, or a genuine threat....

With things as they are with the US Post Office...

On January 20, 2021 at 12:00 noon the power of the USA will transfer to the new president. I could not care less if Trump shows up. His absence will prove the USA has indeed been saved from a man that wanted to destroy our democracy. It is a new beginning for the USA.

Russia and the Gun Lobby made quite a team.

It took a team of journalists to cover the mess.

The Radical Right would not have existed without Russia in 2016 and it's cyber warfare. Unfortunately, Americans didn't recognize the warfare, instead, they embraced it and organized.

The Radical Right has no basis in the USA in the coming months and years. They abandoned democracy for power. There is a difference between power and governance and the Radical Right wasn't interested in governance. That was always a part of the Republican Dogma which can be witnessed in McConnell's obstructionist paradigm. But, having averted the loss of democracy, it is time for the Republicans to reject it's radical ideology and embrace democracy and freedom.

Russia wants the violence and radical agenda to continue. It has to end to complete the promise of the election of Joe Biden. The American people, for the most part, are finished with the agenda of victimization of impoverishment while the elite class banks billions. The exploitation by power to continue to oppress Americans that rely on "the vote" as the only power ends with this election. There are no more cronies, there are only Americans. Lobbying is about promoting the good work that companies can offer, but, to have a Senate vote move into the "yes" or "no" column based on election funds received ends now.

If the violence in the USA, which isn't just in DC, continues it will be exploited by Russia and others that see the Biden election as a speed bump. Change in the USA will go forward, there will be affordable health care, there will be good-paying jobs and there will be a huge paradigm shift to end the climate crisis and protect the natural world of the USA as a witness to that promise to future generations.

It is astounding that Georgia is in the column of Democratic win. There is one woman responsible for that and it is Stacy Abrams (click here). She told Georgians they didn't have to accept oppression and poverty anymore. There are only accolades of praise for a woman that easily succeeds as a torch carrier for minorities and women.

Almost as astounding was the rise of the Democrats in Texas. Beto O'Rourke and Wendy Davis took up the mantle of freedom with an astounding result. Texas will turn blue. It is just a matter of time.

These amazing wins and the return home of the industrial Midwest is a dream coming true. There was only one candidate among the many Democrats that could have brought it all home and that is Joe Biden. Vice-President Elect Kamala Harris made the win complete and we all look forward to her independent work as well as being Vep.

There is a great truth that lies before the country and that is CAN WE KEEP this victory center stage to rebuild and reinstitute the Great American Democracy. The victory is sweet. The longing for the USA before the foreign invasion is strong, but, it has to be more than "talk," it has to return in ways of governance that matter to elevate the American people.

The governance of this magnificent country must come first otherwise we will be doomed to a chronic struggle and the justification of the violence we see today. The struggle for civil rights and the end of income inequality has to be a high priority. If this is not honored then Americans are not honored and those obstructing such measures will be facilitating unrest in the USA that will result in another Venezuelan win for Russia. So, those taking power in DC this time MUST first govern and raise the status of the American people or face a very dangerous precipice that continues to imperil our democracy. A continuance of the same old Republican playbook will face problems this coming administration. It will no longer exist in a way that places democracy as a second class citizen. The Plutocracy, which is where Trump came from, will fall. Money is not a citizen.

The American economy is always a focus for governance, ask any Governor. To that end, economic strength will be a focus in Washington, DC. BUT. The first order of business is ending the COVID-19 CRISIS and protecting Americans and the sovereign USA from ever facing such a scourge again. The infrastructure, including scientists in China, has to be made a permanent law so no one can undo it again. Along with vanquishing COVID-19. there must be bills passed into law that will forever prevent such hideousness in the USA.

The violence in the USA is real. It has reasons for existing. Violence can be a vehicle for change. We need to resolve the problems and end the violence once and for all.

There is no such thing as Trumpish that will disappear with his removal, there are minions, of which a QANON member was elected to the US House of Representatives. 

The violence ends and it ends for real reasons and not simply because of a militarized police force. There needs to be gun legislation that honors police and ends their danger as well. It would be nice if the only gun they needed on the streets of the USA were six-shooters that are rarely unholstered other than target practice. When I say America's Great Democracy it means all of it, not just vanquishing COVID-19 and then returning to oppression vs. wealth.

President Trump’s supporters (click here) had celebrated for hours on Saturday, waving their MAGA flags and blaring “God Bless the U.S.A.” as they gathered in Washington to falsely claim that the election had been stolen from the man they adore. The crowd had even reveled in a personal visit from Trump, who passed by in his motorcade, smiling and waving.

But that was before the people who oppose their hero showed up and the mood shifted, growing angrier as 300 or so counterprotesters delivered a message the president’s most ardent backers were unwilling to hear: The election is over. Trump lost.

On stark display in the nation’s capital were two irreconcilable versions of America, each refusing to accept what the other considered to be undeniable fact.

While much of the day unfolded peacefully, brief but intense clashes erupted throughout. Activists spewed profanity and shouted threats, threw punches and launched bottles. On both sides, people were bloodied, and at least 20 were arrested, including four whose allegiances remain unknown on gun charges. The chaos also left two officers injured....

A lot going on with Flint, Michigan.

Hurley Hospital currently has a 98 percent occupancy rate with COVID-19. The Mayor of Flint needs to limit movement in the city. He should start with a curfew. 

There are also fires being set in an apartment complex since “Angel’s Night.” Angel’s Night occurs on October 30th. It was first developed in Detroit to end the destruction and arson on the night before Halloween. The fires are starting again but this time is Flint. 

The police are investigating but I think the State Bureau of Investigation has a part in this. It is arson. It maybe organized crime. The Flint police are also investigating a stabbing and three shootings.

Flint citizens need to stay indoors as much as possible except for errands. Black Lives Matter and COVID-19 is merciless. Please practice mask wearing, social distancing and hand hygiene. 

Glenn Greenwald had a hissy fit?

To begin with Hunter Biden is not President-Elect. 

Secondly, the best choice for President of the USA which is facing catastrophic health emergencies, a current president that wants to end a health lifeline for millions of Americans and Americans are facing a very dangerous climate crisis. That is only to begin.

President-Elect Biden was the ONLY real choice on the ballot. What is Greenwald ranting on about? The best choice for president has nothing to do with Hunter Biden!

Honestly.

If Greenwald is so obsessed with Hunt Biden and believes there are crimes committed in China, then present the facts.

I remind this is about China. Good luck.

Hunter Biden was brave enough to try to engage commerce in China. When Robert Mullen was able to prove Russia tainted the 2016 elections he traced the GRE digital fingerprints directly into their computers IN RUSSIA. Go ahead, go get evidence.

The laptop in question wasn’t secured for a very long time. It was stored for the purpose of character assassination. It should have been turned over to the FBI a long time ago. At this point it should be returned to the owner.

Did the repairman ever make the money he was hoping to make off it? I don’t remember reading about that part.

Nothing changes the election.

A plumber contractor will be able to speak to the shallow trench in the north lawn. 

Pennsylvania Secretary of State made a mistake.

With such drastically different approaches to ending the infections and deaths of COVID-19 by the outgoing and incoming Executive Branch...

...the dangerous reality of the Electoral College in the time of Citizen's United requires a serious approach to removing the constitutional law with an Amendment to the US Constitution. The process of organizing 501(c)3 and 4 at the state level should begin. It will require an enormous effort to pass a federal constitutional amendment, especially this one, now is a good time to begin. The reality of a viral explosion is too dangerous to ignore.

The Georgia Senate election has never been more important.

The delegates in Philadelphia agreed, (click here) in the summer of 1787, that the new country they were creating would not have a king but rather an elected executive. But they did not agree on how to choose that president.

Pennsylvania delegate James Wilson called the problem of picking a president "in truth, one of the most difficult of all we have to decide." Other delegates, when they later recounted the group’s effort, said "this very subject embarrassed them more than any other – that various systems were proposed, discussed, and rejected."

They were at risk of concluding their meetings without finding a way to pick a leader. In fact, this was the very last thing written into the final draft. Had no agreement been reached, the delegates would not have approved the Constitution.

I am a civics educator who has also run Purdue University’s Constitution Day celebration for 15 years, and one lesson I always return to is the degree to which the founders had to compromise in order to ensure ratification. Selecting the president was one of those compromises....

President-elect hasn't announced COVID-19 prevention measures yet...

...but, the best response may be to reset the initial effort. This would be especially important considering the wintertime explosion of cases.

The USA has reached a ridiculous point in time with this virus, in that some hospitals are allowing symptom-free nurses testing positive for the virus to care for positive patients. That is a hideous thought and yet here we are in the USA doing exactly that. This new reality is a very different place the USA was only a short time ago. It is time to make important decisions. The states should be implementing strict measures as soon as possible ahead of January 20, 2021.

A coronavirus adviser to Joe Biden (click here) has encouraged the president-elect to follow a New Zealand and Australia-style lockdown for four to six weeks as he warned of an approaching "Covid hell".

Dr Michael Osterholm said a US national lockdown may be the best way to limit deaths and new coronavirus infections until a vaccine arrives.

Osterholm, the director of the Centre for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, was appointed on Monday to Biden's 12-member Covid "advisory board".

He said such a lockdown would help the country bring the virus under control, "like they did in New Zealand and Australia".

Osterholm claimed that the US economy will not suffer as a result, if enough money is borrowed to pay wages during the shutdowns.

"We could pay for a package right now to cover all of the wages, lost wages for individual workers for losses to small companies to medium-sized companies or city, state, county governments. We could do all of that," Osterholm told Yahoo Finance. "If we did that, then we could lockdown for four-to-six weeks."...

The SARS-CoV-2 virus doesn't discriminate and kills heros.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) (click here) is allowing guests to visit some of its 134 nursing homes and 24 spinal cord injury centers depending on local coronavirus restrictions.

Since mid-March, no outsiders had been permitted to see these residents except for “compassionate cases,” when a veteran is in the last stages of life in hospice.

The VA created safety guidelines for admission to its nursing homes, referred to as community living centers (CLCs), to ensure that veterans are not positive for COVID-19. As of Wednesday, the VA had three active coronavirus cases across all of its nursing homes.

For admission to spinal cord injury and disorder centers, veterans should contact their nearest location to see if new patients are being accepted. All staff members are being screened daily.

As coronavirus deaths nationwide surpassed 238,000 people, the Veterans Affairs medical system — which includes both care homes and health care centers — exceeded 4,200 deaths, an increase of 163 in the past week. Those 4,223 deaths include only veterans diagnosed at VA hospitals and medical centers....

I hope every veteran had a good day today.

 I am sure it wasn't as good as it could be with the reality of all the restrictions on ease of movement and embraces of friendship with our current national health emergency.

Our country exists because of each and every veteran. It is difficult to show the level of thanks such sacrifices deserve. A day of honor will have to do.

So long as Chief Justice Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh continue to uphold the UNDERSTOOD "Majority Rule" of the USA Constitution the Affordable Care Act will survive Republican politics.

This is a wrongful use of the USA court system. The minority attempted to carry out activist court actions to end the Affordable Care Act. The Affordable Care Act was passed into law by bicameral majority legislators in 2009. As McConnell would say, "Elections have consequences." Indeed they do, however, in the case of McConnell and his out of date Republicans in the US Senate those consequences should only apply to the decisions Republicans make. Their politics do not SUPPORT the USA Constitution and this a very good example of it.

I believe it was Chief Justice Roberts who plainly stated, he believed the court action was to impose a legislative activism on the Supreme Court. The plaintiffs wanted judges and justices to destroy a majority supported legislation passed into law within the constitutional processes outlined in the USA Constitution.

That political USE of the courts of the USA is toxic both to the Rule of Law and the politics of the country. When majorities are elected in the USA they have the right and DUTY to carry forward legislation expressing the people's business. When the opposition party attempts to remove a new law, that is Minority Decent and it has no place in a court of law, but, ONLY within the politics of the people. 

The Republicans, when it comes to Obamacare/Affordable Care Act, USED it to win seats over two House and Senate elections and it worked for those two elections. It could be said that nasty attitude toward to affordable health care also allowed Trump to find majorities in states where citizens actually like the ACA. The Republicans staged innumerable attempts to end the ACA in the USA House. I lost count of the number of times. They all were political stunts so their politics were supported at the ballot box. Nothing ever came of those votes.

I might add, FOX News staged most of the political support when attacking the ACA, It was the only real message right wing people would listen to WITHOUT educating the public with EQUALITY of representation in the media. The law already existed and FOX News continually leveraged political demands regarding the ACA in the media. There was no basis for it, but, the POLITICAL TOXICITY, was the product FOX News was looking for, not to correct a real wrong. For the most part, the people of the country have come to love this 11 year old law. But, did that matter to the right wing media? No. They had to use the ACA to some kind of political advantage and the court systems was a means to say, "Republicans can defeat Obamacare." There were even cronies that provided lots and lots of money for Republicans seeking court action to win those cases. Money talks right? Well. Not this time. The Chief Justice and one other conservative judge have found the demand for them to "legislate from the bench" unconstitutional.

I might add, when one looks across the spectrum of those using Obamacare it is the people 400% higher than the poverty line. That is not the wealthy or the Middle Class, but, the class of people struggling the most in the USA to be well and make ends meet. They don't have voices of wealthy lawyers, they have their vote.

The Minority Rule that is a legitimate concern to the courts is about the individual and their rights living within the Majority Rule of the USA Constitution. This case about the ACA isn't it. Understand Warren Burger and his court and then the Individual will come alive in relation to the USA Constitution.

A Minority Rule decision does not destroy the Majority Rule in legislation, but, it allows for important exceptions.

Washington - At least five Supreme Court justices, (click here) including two members of its conservative majority, indicated on Tuesday that they would reject attempts by Republicans and the Trump administration to kill the Affordable Care Act.

It was not clear whether the court would strike down a provision of the act that initially required most Americans to obtain insurance or pay a penalty, a requirement that was rendered toothless in 2017 after Congress zeroed out the penalty. But the bulk of the sprawling 2010 health care law, President Barack Obama’s defining domestic legacy, appeared likely to survive its latest encounter with the court.

Both Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh said striking down the so-called individual mandate did not require the rest of the law to be struck down as well.

“Congress left the rest of the law intact when it lowered the penalty to zero,” Chief Justice Roberts said....

When the virus first arrived in the USA it was found to effect families and people like the elderly living in close quarters similar to families. Now that the virus has expanded it's presence in the USA population the same dynamic of people being close in an environment is holding up by studies conducted about Americans. The COVID-19 pandemic (click here) dramatically changed human mobility patterns, necessitating epidemiological models which capture the effects of changes in mobility on virus spread1. We introduce a metapopulation SEIR model that integrates fine-grained, dynamic mobility networks to simulate the spread of SARS-CoV-2 in 10 of the largest US metropolitan statistical areas. Derived from cell phone data, our mobility networks map the hourly movements of 98 million people from neighborhoods (census block groups, or CBGs) to points of interest (POIs) such as restaurants and religious establishments, connecting 57k CBGs to 553k POIs with 5.4 billion hourly edges. We show that by integrating these networks, a relatively simple SEIR model can accurately fit the real case trajectory, despite substantial changes in population behavior over time. Our model predicts that a small minority of “superspreader” POIs account for a large majority of infections and that restricting maximum occupancy at each POI is more effective than uniformly reducing mobility. Our model also correctly predicts higher infection rates among disadvantaged racial and socioeconomic groups2–8 solely from differences in mobility: we find that disadvantaged groups have not been able to reduce mobility as sharply, and that the POIs they visit are more crowded and therefore higher-risk. By capturing who is infected at which locations, our model supports detailed analyses that can inform more effective and equitable policy responses to COVID-19.

What this study says overall is that the USA's trend into super spreading is a choice place for understanding the virus. In other words, the American people are very accommodating in spreading the virus so it can be studied and understood. That is not an admirable quality of this country, it is a third world mentality that provides the social dynamic that Americans value their lives less than work and a good time.

But, the research is not about laughing out loud at Americans, it is conducted to hopefully educate them and have them value their own lives enough to end the dangerous behaviors that provided for this research.

There must be a contraction in activity by Americans in social venues KNOWN to be the sources of super spreader events. Americans are supposed to be smart. This study clearly indicates they are not.

In a study reviewing electronic health records of over 62,000 coronavirus patients in the US revealed legally defined Traumatic Brain Injury from COVID-19.

A traumatic brain injury (click here) is brain dysfunction caused by an outside source. Very simply: damage occurs to the brain, and the brain doesn’t function normally after that. 

We refer to a brain injury caused by an outside source as an acquired brain injury, meaning it happens after birth. To be clear, there are other scenarios that can result in brain damage that don’t come from an outside source. A non-acquired brain injury is a brain injury caused by genetic or hereditary factors, birth trauma, or from a degenerative cause, such as Alzheimer’s disease or Parkinson’s disease.

Stroke

Chemo

Virus 

Aneurysm

Carbon monoxide poisoning...

Basically, anything that changes the structure, biochemistry and function of the brain is a traumatic brain injury. That includes the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

In stating there is a changing nature of COVID-19 opens up the idea these NEW discoveries have resulted by a mutation. That is not the case. These symptoms are not so much changing as a discovery. This is new information about the same virus that is causing so many deaths.

The facts are plain, COVID-19 is a coronavirus that has acted as many others have, except, it is much larger than other viruses within that description. It is due to the increased size of SARS-CoV-2 and the trauma to the body's tissue that has resulted in a mind altering and deadly reality.

...The changing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic (click here) presents a moving target for clinicians, investigators, readers of medical literature, and the general public. Infection rates in different areas are frequently changing. Additionally, new cases, clinical data, and analytic functionalities are being added to available databases. Conclusions based on any one dataset thus require frequent re-examination and re-interpretation. The recent retraction of articles on COVID-19 based on another database highlights the necessity of data sharing and transparency.

More than 100 years have passed since the worldwide influenza pandemic that resulted in a markedly increased rate of neurological and psychiatric sequelae. Despite great advances in medical science, we are faced with some of the same issues relating to the characterisation of a rapidly changing pandemic occurring in different geopolitical environments. Learning to use new tools, such as electronic medical records efficiently should provide some of the essential information needed to understand and control the psychiatric consequences of this pandemic and plan for future ones. In these efforts, we should keep in mind the words of Sir William Osler that, “the best preparation for tomorrow is to do today's work superbly well.”...

COVID-19 is not only a dangerous virus that drastically shortens longevity, it creates it's own comorbidities.

One of the stipulations to people in educating about SARS-CoV-2 is that if people have comorbidities they have to be extra careful in being exposed to the virus. Here and in other medical findings, it i obvious the virus is not only a struggle for healthy people, it also creates it's own comorbiditites through the course of the disease through the body's immune reaction.

These ACQUIRED comorbidities during the course of the disease may explain why young people are not doing as well as expected and result in deaths even after discharge from the hospital. Heart damage can be a silent killer.
