Is 2026 going to be happy?
I think 2025 was the worst year in the USA in my lifetime. It was uncharacteristically cruel to many people. I don’t expect 2026 to be my ch better.

Chuck Redd cannot be sued.
Mr. Redd has a right protect his reputation and performing at an illegally named establishment is not the way to do it.

The Reagan building is fine temporarily for the FBI. No one can ignore the Monopoly game board that Trump is playing. He is once again breaking the law.
If there was to be better, more efficient use of government infrastructure there is a correct way to conduct it. As Trump dictates the restructuring of the federal government the law and public procedures are being disregarded as well as violated. When does the abuse of power end?
Between the demolition at the White House, the elimination of vast agencies, it appears now to have a far different purpose than shrinking the size and cost of government. Trump 2.0 is running roughshod over the federal infrastructure because he believes he is better to be THE DECIDER than the American people and the rule of law. We have already seen an addition at the White House demolition; what is going to happen to the rest of our plans and processes? Trump efficiency that leads to bankruptcy? Trump might say the federal government is already bankrupt.
There is a lot of national pain coming with Trump.
I will put it this way:
Trump will fill in the “Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool” and build a gold temple to himself between the “Lincoln Memorial” and “Washington Monument.”
I mean, everyone will love the improvements of the Capital of the New “United States of the Western Hemisphere Empire.”
He had to clear out all the old dead wood of the federal agencies so he can shuffle around what is left and destroy the ancient building still standing in DC. The East Wing is nothing compared to his corrupt plans.
How easy was it for the diabolical Putin to manipulate Trump into doing his dirty work?
The value of vintage stone.
Trump will destroy more than the East wing of the White House starting with the J. Edgar Hoover building. He will take the vintage stone and tell the people they didn’t have to pay for hauling costs while violating federal law.
It appears to be blackmail to me.
Trump and Putin have struck up a deal. I am relieved the Canadian Prime Minister met with President Zelenskyy yesterday.
There is always a chance it isn’t and Putin could just be his usual evil self. But, here is a larger picture.
Obviously, if Zelenskyy weakens his resolve and gives Putin his wishes then the Russian assault will stop. But, every free world country knows it is a pause in Putin’s long term goals. If there is a pause in Russia’s struggle now, it will be more than a pause but a reprieve to rebuild to his goal of an advancing nightmare in the future.
But.
What of Trump’s Western Hemisphere goals?
And.
Is the free world asking too much if Ukraine?
Ukraine’s fate has always been its own facing a border with Russia and Europe is never a clear way forward. The people of Ukraine have spoken over and over again with clear choices. We have an ally with them for all the reasons the other Post Soviet countries are allies. There simply is this insane game because Ukraine was seeking peace with Russia while the other Post Soviet states built their dreams and moved forward. Putin was never going to give up Ukraine for all the reasons Ukraine is a powerful country all by itself. Ukraine engaged in a war of attrition. That is important.
As to Trump. Simple. Yes? Mexico is China’s life blood of its economy and Canada and Greenland is NATO. Who wins when Trump takes control? Russia. It will then be pivotal to an economically disadvantaged China and smaller NATO.
Spoken or not. Written or not. Budapest.
South America? It is a completed picture to unlimited military recruits and economies only built on crypto.
Who wins? Greed under the guise of military dominance leading to world control by a global cartel of greed merchants casting all less fortunate into economic slavery and poverty.
Why?
The USA is already the last great Superpower.
Trump isn’t king.

The Third Oil Tanker
The only reason Trump can’t get his hands on the third oil tanker is because there is a United Nations Security Council meeting preventing the torpedoing of the USS Gerald Ford.
Trump has no authorization to conduct the strikes on civilian boats even if they are drug runners. Trump is well outside the limits of 90 days of his right as the Executive Branch administrator to carry out emergency measures without Congress.
The USA Navy needs to move off, return to sea and real responsibility.
This is exactly the abuse of power Trump wants with his illegal independent $100 billion OCO funds.

Excuse me?
John Fitzgerald Kennedy died for this country in 1963 because of his strength of purpose in standing up for civil rights. That is fifty-two years of respecting the high moral standards he brought to this country.
Hegseth wants to bring the racist named back to our military bases. Trump can’t hold a candle to Kennedy.
Trump is under the impression he can put his name every place on a whim. He can’t. He also has no right to unilaterally rename the Gulf of Mexico or the USA Department of Defense. He is NOT allowed legally to carry out any of those acts of hostility to the proud heritage of this country.
I am not looking forward to the 250th anniversary of the birth of this country. There is no telling what kind if circus it is going to be. It is a time of celebration with friends and allies. Trump is at the very least insulting Denmark and Greenland. And, why? Because of his petroleum cronies and some strange ideology drummed up by Project 2025 and the Heritage Foundation.
I don’t think so!

He is having difficulty agreeing with anyone.
No surprise there. Has he at least gotten his flag issues straightened out?
I think of Alito as an insurrectionist. It is impossible to assign the practice of politics to every aspect of American life without drawing a lot of questioning into light.
It is no different than the Chief Justice taking his personal frustration with racism out on the Voting Rights Act of 1964. There is such a thing as racism and bigotry in this country. It is not a myth. It is noted in tragedies like Charlottesville.

Data Center Funding
It is why Zuckerberg tucks himself into bed I DC with Trump. It is going to take the nation’s treasury to achieve it.
Projects requiring enormous amounts of money are supposed to be handled through well established institutions such as The National Science Foundation.

But, wait.
All those great research institutions and universities have been either assaulted or defunded only to spends precious monies on lawyers.
Interesting tidbit. Harvard has decided to keep the same President. Indefinitely. It is called a brain trust because it is a brain worthy of trust!

Two military funding bills
Trump has carved out a separate OCO bill. He wants the Republican legislature to give him about $100 billion for OCO and send it through reconciliation so the Democrats cannot interfere with his OCO war chest. I sincerely think he can skirt The War Powers Act by doing so.
It has to be challenged through the courts.
He has a problem with media that only finds fault with his administration. So did Nixon and Trump is a million times worse. He not only has record numbers of convicted criminals pardoned, he has pulled the FBI off surveillance of dyed in the wool racist groups.
USA envoys are off track.
It is nice to have new ideas, but, the USA envoys aren’t talking to allies. It seems to me Witkoff and Kushner are trying to marginalize USA allies while attempting to harass Denmark and Greenland.
Trump thinks because he is Commander and Chief he can do as he damn well pleased. He can’t.
Another thing, Trump’s BBB (Big, Beautiful Bill otherwise known as the taxpayer invoice) does not coincide with the new Trump boat. The bill reduces the funding to ship building. Either Trump is bald face lying or he’s delusional again. He keeps signing papers as if they actually mean something. Oh, yeah , his buddy in Moscow states they have evaluated Donald’s mental functioning. All I can say is, “Consider the source.”
Hate
The Trump administration and MAGA have enormous problems with hate. That is clearly illustrated with their methodology. Alligator Alcatraz was designed to kill anyone attempting to leave the detention facility. While a judge thinks the construction can go forward the FUNCTION of the facility is a human rights issue.
It is astounding to realize the facility actually has people willing to work there. It surely does not have union representation. The working conditions are abysmal. That is putting it lightly.
There is a reason why Speaker Johnson kisses Trump’s ring and is a rubber stamp to every demand of the president. The state he hails from, Louisiana, has little to no economy except for immigration detention facilities.

Property
The car pictured below that was being driven by a person arrested by ICE as is reported online is someone’s property. Probably financed and insured. It was abandoned. That is not reasonable treatment of the property belonging to an arrested individual. The window is broken and the car is vulnerable to theft. That is negligence and is a liability to those making the arrest and those detaining the driver.
There is probably property inside the car.
Witnessed online was a woman employed by an immigration attorney illegally arrested. She is an American citizen. She was dragged from her car after it was rammed by ICE. They put her in handcuffs and lead her away to their unmarked vehicle without shoes on her feet. Her shoes were knocked off het in the struggle to keep her freedom. So, there now sat a damaged car with a broken window vulnerable to theft along with what were probably expensive shoes, handbag and whatever else was in that car including any documents she may have been taking to the law office.
The methodology exhibited by the agents of DHS is not safe and creates huge problems for those arrested as well as any family or friends. Lives are being turned into chaos.
Language Barrier
Most Americans can express themselves and be understood, but, what if a person doesn’t speak English or doesn’t speak English well? It is a huge problem for the person caught up in the DHS meat grinder.
Some of the facilities being utilized are not safe for extended detentions beyond 12 hours.
One of the advocacy that aligns with these arrests and detentions is that human beings may not know their rights. What if a human being is detained without knowing their rights or believing there is no other recourse except living through the detention with hopes for being heard. Judges are sensitive to the fact language barriers are significant obstacles to receiving the truth. What if a human being never makes it to a judge for whatever reason they don’t and are handicapped or disabled in some way.
It is my opinion DHS currently is in violation of human rights. How do we get that changed? When does the cruelty of ICE come under control?
State governments have a responsibility to their citizens and any human being within those borders. State governors need to take example of Governor Pritzker who asked the public to continue to record and post to sites familiar to government events of ICE activities. That is a reasonable request. That action is not activism, it is an accounting of agent activity who believes they are above the law and accountability.
This is real. DHS is not operating safely. That is a known fact. The American public following ICE are not interested in attacking agents; they are most interested in protecting life.
Missing person after ICE arrest?
This is a concern, too. What if someone is taken out of their life without family or friends to notice a life was interrupted?
There needs to be a reporting of such arrests to local law enforcement. There has to an accounting of human beings to someone. If not local law enforcement then ACLU with a stipends paid by ICE to maintain contact. It is vital to have a third party involved because we already know people are detained without due process. That is a fact.
DHS needs to be held responsible for such gaps in accountability. If human beings are being arrested and processed without due process, that is a criminal act. Ask any local law enforcement if they would get away without carrying out due process. ICE should not be getting away with it either.
