The January 6th Committee focuses on then Vice President Mike Pence.

Co-chairpersons addressed the meeting gathered in the Capitol building.

1:04 pm

Vice President Pence addressed the Federalist Society stating he does not have the legal right, nor the moral right to overturn a legitimate election vote by the American people.

There was a Twitter message by Trump after the violent insurrectine began focusing on Vice President Pence as an enemy to Trump.

Vice President Pence valued his oath of office and was supported before and after of many Republicans.

1:09 pm

January 6th is not an isolated incident with Rep. Pete Aguilar speaking. Explicit content in a video from January 6th. "Pence caved..." with a variety of swearing at the Vice President. The crowd received word that the Vice President was not on board to violate the USA Constitution and carry out a Coup against the incoming president.

The pressure on the Vice President was exceptional and he stood up to it. Trump stated Vice President Pence did not have the guts to carry out the coup.

1:13  Fomer Judge Littig to speak. He was a Pence supporter in protecting the USA Constitution. He is an appointee by Former President George W. Bush.

1:14 pm

Witnesses sworn in. The witnesses answered in the affirmative in swearing to tell the truth.

1:15 pm

62 cases of litigation to reverse the election as a run up to January 6th. He finally latched onto the idea one man could select the President and that man was then Vice President Pence. Nothing stopped Trump regardless of the illegality of the entire scheme.

1:17 pm

Greg Jacob, former council to Vice Pesident Pence, testimony is about the methods used to handle objections to the electoral count. Trump's theory was evaluated and focused on one sentence in the USA Constitution that was poorly worded when drafted. The law that developed the Electoral College is not an amendment to the USA Constitution.

Since 1887, 3 U.S.C. 15 has set the method for objections by Members of Congress to electoral votes. During the Joint Session, lawmakers may object to individual electoral votes or to state returns as a whole. An objection must be declared in writing and signed by at least one Representative and one Senator. In the case of an objection, the Joint Session recesses and each chamber considers the objection separately for no more than two hours; each Member may speak for five minutes or less. After each house votes on whether to accept the objection, the Joint Session reconvenes and both chambers disclose their decisions. If both chambers agree to the objection, the electoral votes in question are not counted. If either chamber opposes the objection, the votes are counted.

1:20 pm

Judge Luttig in his written statement submitted to the committee said the idea one man, the Vice President, would instill an unelected president in office it would have caused a profound constitutional crisis and plunged the country into chaos.

Judge Luttig states there is a simple foundational proof of the USA. Profound truth, namely The Rule of Law in the United States of America is whether that foundational Rule of Law was supremely violated on January 6, 2021.

Had Vice President Pence obeyed the orders from his President and the President of the USA during the joint session of Congress of the USA on January 6, 2021 and declared the next president of the USA was Donald John Trump, would have plunged America into what Judge Luttig believes would be a revolution within a constitutional crisis. In his view, would have been the first constitutional crisis since the founding of the republic. The judge humbly states that was just one man's opinion. Judge Luttig has solid credentials that afford him that valued opinion.

1:27 pm

There were secondary electorates standing by to elect Trump. Eastman took up the issue. He stated it was non-sensical to believe the Vice President could carry out such a scheme. "Dual Slates of Electors"

Jacob states there were no dual slates of electors.

Trump's last lawyer, Mr. Herschmann states can dismiss Biden electors. Eastman lied because that was not a valid point of view. The fake electors had no legal weight as stated by Eastman later.

Judge Luttig states the fake electors did not have support from the US Constitution or the laws of the USA facilitated by the Vice President. He is aware of the passage from Eastman's memo. Eastman was wrong that there was historical precedent and legal authority for fake electors. There was no historical precedent from the beginning of the founding of 1789 that would support the Vice President of the USA to count fake electors.

1:33 pm

John Wood asked Judge Luttig to explain his analysis of his written statement. Mr. Wood states Mr. Eastman was inccorrect in his conclusion to have the Vice President acted unilaterally to place a president in the White House. Judge Luttig finds no basis in the USA Constitution for Dr. Eastman's assessment of the potential for fake electors. Eastman states the USA Constitution was unartfully written. The Judge states the USA Constitution is completely clear that the Vice President does not have the power to place a president in the White House.

Twelfth Amendment (click here)

The Electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate;-The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted;-The person having the greatest Number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President-The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

100 years later, there is a law that today is viewed as a work in progress.

...During Reconstruction, (click here) the period after the Civil War, Congress faced contentious questions over whether Southern states appropriately appointed presidential electors. At other times, two sets of competing electors for different candidates were sent to Congress.

The Electoral Count Act was enacted in 1887 to streamline rules after the disputed presidential election of 1876.

But in recent years, the act has revealed some weaknesses.

The act allows members of Congress to object to counting votes from a state. They can do that if one member of the House and one Senator write an objection. The Electoral Count Act does not list what kind of objections are proper, leaving it to Congress to decide if objections are appropriate or not. If this kind of dispute arises, Congress can debate what to do with the electoral votes....

Judge Luttig states the language of the Twelfth Amendment is just that simple in the instruction as to how to count the Electoral Votes.

Greg Jocob states in 1876 there were layers of electoral votes that needed to be dealt with, hence the Electoral Count Act of 1887. The text in the 12th Amendment there is no ambiguity as to how to conduct the Electoral College.

The framers of the USA Consitution had established three branches of government and the idea of one man, the Vice President, was powerful enough to decide the next president simply is not supported in all the history of the USA.

This is from the University of Virginia.

In the presidential election of 1876, (click here) Democrat Samuel Tilden ran against Republican Rutherford B. Hayes. At the end of election day, no clear winner emerged because the outcomes in South Carolina, Florida, and Louisiana were unclear. Both parties claimed victory in those states, but Republican-controlled “returning” boards would determine the official electoral votes....

There is no theory permitted as the one proposed by Trump.

This is from the Smithsonian:

Lawmakers (click here) are citing the 19th-century crisis as precedent to dispute the 2020 election. Here’s a closer look at its events and legacy

On election night, Republican presidential candidate and Ohio governor Rutherford B. Hayes was losing so badly that he prepared his concession speech before turning in for the night. His party chairman went to bed with a bottle of whiskey. “We soon fell into a refreshing sleep,” Hayes later wrote in his diary about the events of November 7, 1876. “[T]he affair seemed over.”

But after four months of fierce debate and negotiations, Hayes would be sworn into office as 19th president of the United States. Historians often describe his narrow, controversial win over Democrat Samuel J. Tilden as one of the most bitterly contested presidential elections in history....

Eastman testimony states again that the idea of overthrowing the 2020 election would cause rioting in the streets.

Fox News host Sean Hannity (click here) repeatedly tried to rein in former president Donald Trump in text messages to his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, in the days before and after the Jan. 6 insurrection.

In a letter requesting Hannity's testimony on Tuesday, the House select committee investigating the Capitol insurrection revealed several of the Fox News host's text messages to Meadows and others.

"We can't lose the entire WH counsel's office," Hannity wrote to Meadows on Dec. 31, apparently referring to White House lawyers' threats to quit over Trump's efforts to overturn the election....

"I do not see January 6 happening the way he is being told," Hannity wrote of Trump, before effectively encouraging the former president to accept defeat....

Jared about Pat Cipollone states he took it as whining rather than sincere objection. Jared never understood the brevity of Cipollone's statements about leaving the service of the White House.

1:58

Eastman never believed the nonsense he stated to Trump as a potential to overturn the election.

Judge Luttig states he believe the effort to overturn the 2020 election stated Eastman told Trump there was both legal and historic precedent to overturn the election. He believes as all the players lead by Mr. Eastman got wrapped around the axil by the historical evidence claim. Very simply this is what Judge Luttig said in short if he was advising the Vice President on January 6th and even the historical Vice President Jefferson and Adams had even Richard Nixon had done exactly what Trump wanted Pence to do, he would lay his body across the road before I would allow the Vice President to overturn the 2020 election on the basis of historical precedent. What everyone needs to know that the historical aspect of the argument of Mr. Eastman was the focus of the coup.

There was some belief that the Supreme Court would not allow the overthrow, but, it could have been less than unanimous and perhaps 7-2.

June 16, 2022

Washington - A lawyer advising President Donald Trump (click here) claimed in an email after Election Day 2020 to have insight into a “heated fight” among the Supreme Court justices over whether to hear arguments about the president’s efforts to overturn his defeat at the polls, two people briefed on the email said.

The lawyer, John Eastman, made the statement in a Dec. 24, 2020, exchange with a Wisconsin lawyer and Trump campaign officials over whether to file legal papers that they hoped might prompt four justices to agree to hear an election case from Wisconsin.

“So the odds are not based on the legal merits but an assessment of the justices’ spines, and I understand that there is a heated fight underway,” Eastman wrote, according to the people briefed on the contents of the email. Referring to the process by which at least four justices are needed to take up a case, he added, “For those willing to do their duty, we should help them by giving them a Wisconsin cert petition to add into the mix.”...

Mr. Short statement about Paul Ryan. Vice President Pence refused to go along with the idea he could determine the outcome of the election.

I personally am impressed by the integrity of the people surrounding the electoral vote in the face of enormous Trump corruption. The election and the USA Constitution was never in danger.

There is still danger as the Trumpees in the USA seek to have influence over the electorate in Secretary of State office and local voting authorities. It continues to be a problem and a concern. The American people, in voting, is being disregarded as the only authority to place their leadership.

I am very grateful to Judge Luttig for bringing the insight he has about the legal status of the Electoral College Count. That insight is invaluable to the American people to understand why this committee was so very important to the well being of our country and it's sovereign state.

Weeks of disruption by Trump to coup the 2020 election. Trump needs to be held for his desire to destroy the election, hence a coup, and quite possibly plung the country into chaos and possibly revolution. I might add that such a revolution would likely occur by the simply fact the White Supremacists would use it to kill minority members of our country. They would not have hestiated if there was a coup within the Capitol that day.

2:15 pm

Did Eastman tell Trump his ideas would violate the Electoral Count Act. Eastman stated he thought the Electoral Count Act was unconstitutional. Mr. Jacob raised concern about Eastman's statements to Trump. Mr. Jacob stated all that Eastman had was a few weakly worded text but no one would ever uphold the idea that an coup was legitimate within those text.

In the face of all the precautions stated to Trump, Trump continued to stir unrest with the crowd focusing on the Vice President to conduct the coup from within the Joint Meeting of Congress.

Mr. Jacob asks about the meeting on January 5th. Mr. Jacob was to meet with Mr. Eastman the next day. Mr. Jacob met with Mr. Eastman in Mark Shorts office. Mr. Eastman was in attendance of the meeting about 11 AM.  In the meeting with Mr. Jacob, Mr. Eastman stated he requested that the electorate count be interrupted in the meeting of January 5th. Mr. Eastman was there to ask the Vice President to refuse the electorate vote. Mr. Jacob stated the Electoral Count Act would require the electors to be sent back to the states. Conservatives, small government people and the strategy was walked through by Mr. Jacob. Eastman didn't believe the courts would get involved as it was up to the states to send the electors withn ten days. If the courts did not step in to resolve the coup, there would be no other authority to step in. There would be a House and Senate opposing each other and state legislators had no intention of overthrowing the election by the people. No state legislators were interested in the coup. Good. Mr. Jacob saw the courts stepping into the decisions. Mr. Jacob stated he wanted to agree with Eastman to that it was a terrible idea. Eastman only resigned to the fact that Mr. Jacob wasn't interested in the coup.

The January 5th meeting could have been pivotal to the coup. Eastman was the primary person involved in pushing the coup. He was interested in sending back to the states as history did not support the coup. Plenary Vice Presidential authority. The only way statutory law could be ignored if the Vice President has the penary authority to disregard the law.

Mr. Jacob met with Eastman the morning of January 5th and the Vice President was at his residence but then asked to the Oval Office. The Vice President stated he looked at all the options and there was no way around the Electoral College Count. Mr. Eastman stated he understood that no one was interested in the coup, but, the only viable option that might be palatable was sending it back to the states. There was no interest in that option either.

A day before he presides over a joint session of Congress (click here) to ratify Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory, the vice president tried to lower the president’s expectations while seeking ways to mollify him.

What this boils down to is it is very important those elected to office value the democracy past any attempt to corrupt "the vote" of the people.

Mark Short was concerned Trump would lash out at the Vice President on January 6th. Secret Service was notified by Mark Short to the possibility. That is interesting. The Secret Service on January 6th was actively trying to find a path for Trump to the Capitol which proved impossible while at the same time the Secret Service to Pence was seeking to protect from any lash out by Trump or his supporters. It appears the two separate Secret Service groups had no idea what the other was focused on. There was no collusion by the two separate Secret Service groups.

2:39 pm 10 minute break of the committee

The DOJ is requiring all witness interviews.

2:51 The committee enters the room.

Trump Tweet stated the Vice President could come through for us. It could be sent back to the states. Trump called for extreme courage from his supporters. He was leading them. This is not simple communication, these are requests to his followers for loyalty and action on their part. Courage requires certain emotional loyalty to an idea in this case.

Mr. Jacob went to the Vice President's residence on January 6th. The Vice President had a call with Trump and Mr. Jacob was in the residence to proof a statement by Pence written overnight.

Eric Herschmann ws called to the Oval Office as the family of the president was there. The meeting was loose and casua according to Ivanka Trump. Ivanka witnessed a conversation when she was called to the Oval Office the second time and it was a very hostile conversation with Pence. It was a different tone than Ivanka was used to hearing from Trump when speaking to the Vice President. Herschmann stated Ivanka appeared uncomfortable with Trump's talk with Pence. Following the call Mr. Jacob stated the Vice President after the call with Trump was still resolute to the legal process of the Electoral College.

"All Vice President Pence has to do is send the Electoral College back to the states....Mike Pence is going to have to come through for us..."

Rhinos and stupid people were Pence's advisory circle according to Trump. The gallows went up at the US Capitol and the chant "Hang Mike Pence" ensued.

Mark Meadows knew the violence was occurring at 2 PM if not earlier. Meadows informed Trump and Trump wrote that Pence was the issue. Followers in military gear considered Pence having voted against Trump and betrayed the people of the United States and they would never forget.

The insurgents had a list of those they wanted to hold to their form of justice. White House staff told the committee Trump went down the hallway and in teh corridor into the outer oval of the White House and looked as though he was going to the Oval Office. Staff was told not to communicate with the media. Staff thought Trump should tweet something to the crowd. The tweet Trump sent out was about the disloyality of Mike Pence to the president at 2:22 pm.

Mark Meadows was informed and left his office. The Vice President in the Capitol was removed from the Senate Chamber to his office across the hall because the crowd surged when they received the tweet from Trump. It is estimated the crowd in the Capitol doubled.

3:09 pm

The east Rotunda door was breached at 2:25 pm and Vice President Pence was removed to stairs to a secure location. The Vice President and his team stayed in the secure location for four hours. Vice President was very close to the insurgents behind doors. The Vice President's life was in danger. The Proud Boys would have killed Mike Pence if given a chance. W-1 stated there were other they would have killed if given a chance. Pence was in a secure location and after Trump requested the insurgence to leave the Capitol Vice Persident Pence returned to the Joint Meeting of the Congress.

Vice President Pence was not about to be driven from the US Capitol to ensure the world of his duty and loyality to the USA. Congressional leaders were consulted by the Vice President as he continued to conduct the business of the day.

Mr. McCarthy stated those at the White House was not taking the insurrection as seriously as they should. Mr. Jacob stated in an email to Eastman the Capitol was under seige thanks to the plan for the coup. Eastman in turn stated it was the fault of the Vice President's staff as the people of the country were not given transparency.

"Once he (Trump) gets something in his head it is not easy to change."

The point about the debate regarding Arizona was not completed in two hours. As a result of the insurgency Eastman wanted Pence to continue with the vote being sent back to the states. That would require another ten days of delay in returning the vote back to the states. Vice President Pence stated the Eastman insistence to return the vote to the states, "That is rubber room stuff." Basically, and especially after the insurrection, Eastman was certifically crazy.

The statement of the State of the Vote...by Vice President Pence.

A variety of Bible verse were considered for the strength of the day of January 6th.

Herschmann stated he told Eastman he would need a good criminal lawyer after repeating his words, of "Orderly Transition." Eastman called Guiliani to add his name to the pardon list. Eastmann did not receive his pardon. As a consequence Eastman basiccally refused cooperation with the committee and pled the 5th Amendment protected him.

Court made the finding that Trump and Eastman conspired to coup the election of 2020. It was a coup in search of a legal theory.

Mr. Jacob stated there would be short term outcomes as well as long term outcomes if Vice President Pence did as requested by Trump. Short term was chaos and facing states that dissolved the vote of their states. Long term it would have a significant impact on the USA's election outcomes.

3:30 pm

Statement by Rep. Aguilar. Then closing statement by Chairwoman Cheney. Judge Carter states Eastman and Trump pressure campaign targeted every tier of state legislators as well. Fake electoral officers will be examined.

Trump's closest aids urged him to leave office peacefully as a man that loves his country more than itself. That didn't happen.

Chairman Thompson provided a closing statement. He thanks the witnesses for their honorable testimony. He believes the danger of such an act can be an ongoing threat because it depends on honorable people that loves their country.

Judge Luttig states he was honored on January of 2021 to come to Vice President and prayed. He prayed the same prayer to his wife this morning on his way to the US Capitol. He believes Trump and his supporters are a clear and present danger to the USA democracy. The former president and his allies pledged in the presidential election of 2024 if the former president or his annointed successor were to lose that election they would attempt to overturn the 2024 election in the way they disrupted the 2020 electorial count. Judge Luttig takes pledges of violence seriously. A judge would. He believes Trumps allies are already carrying out that pledge in plain view of the American people. There are exact words spoken by the allies to Trump as warned in their pledge.

The January 6th Committee has a tip line for all to access with whatever information they may deem important.

3:43 pm Committee meeting was adjorned.

Vice President was brought up by the January 6th Committee. This is a recent interview with Former Vice President Al Gore.

It is not a matter of what is to come. It is a matter of the Climate Crisis mitigation to prevent it from becoming worse.

Normally, the herds, packs and flocks of Yellowstone National Park are reduced by population stress. This year is proving to be very different. There is a good chance the species in Yellowstone will leave the park for safety. The hunters in the areas are not to kill them, they still have to have a chance to return to safety.

This year some of the behaviors of the top predators of Yellowstone National Park are suspect to their ability to find food. Primarily, the Grizzlies have had trouble because of the fish populations. There have been interventions north of Yellowstone to establish a native population of fish so Grizzlies would have normal populations for their consumption. Those interventions take time and there is a good chance that the intervention could have been washed away, hence, not making the progress this year.

The wolf population of Yellowstone has seen migration out of the park and many wolves were killed by hunters this year. That cannot be allowed to continue until the Park Service knows there is a sustainable population within the boundaries of the Park. The wolves probably migrated to find food because of the competition with the Grizzlies. Wolves do travel in packs, so the idea an entire pack was wiped out by hunters is a very real possibility.

At any rate, the National Park Service as well as NOAA and USFW have their hands full trying to track endangered and threatened species under the climate crisis. Old rules allow hunters to take national park species when found outside the park boundaries. That will have to be suspended this year until the species status is assessed.

Jim Robbins, Thomas Fuller and

...The floodwaters (click here) that raged through Yellowstone this week changed the course of rivers, tore out bridges, poured through homes and forced the evacuation of thousands of visitors from the nation’s oldest national park.

It is difficult to directly connect the damage in Yellowstone to a rapidly warming climate — rivers have flooded for millenniums — but scientists are raising the alarm that in the coming years destruction related to climate change will reach nearly all 423 national parks, which are particularly vulnerable to rising temperatures.

The litany of threats read like a biblical reckoning: fire and flood, melting ice sheets, rising seas and heat waves.

Rangers in Glacier National Park in Montana are counting down the years to when the park will have no glaciers left....

Corruption of values and the conspiracy (FOX News) to commit crimes.

June 16, 2022
By Dakin Andone

..."Gendron's motive for the mass shooting (click here) was to prevent Black people from replacing white people and eliminating the white race, and to inspire others to commit similar attacks," the complaint says....

That is right out of the Tucker Carlson playbook.

Gendron was recruited into racial hatred and then turned himself loose on the people doing nothing but shopping for their households. This is the very racism Carlson caters to and it is toxic and very, very dangerous.

The DOJ may be seeking the death penalty for this man who after turning 18 years old decided he was self-righteous and could carry out his mission. No one surrounding him had any of those dangerous values. The people surrounding him did not purchase the weapons of war and even refused to purchase them when asked. This young man was inspired to do what he did after he defined violence as his own true mission in life.

The FBI needs to bring enough information to the DOJ to dismantle the White Supremacist/Nationalist networks in the USA. They are producing insurgents, depriving young American men of their future and ending the lives of innocent people.

It is amazing to realize FOX News and other radio personalities make enormous amonts of money inspiring the deaths of others. That is not infotainment, it is insurrection.

If anyone wants to refresh where indeed the devisiveness in the USA started with fervor, look at the programs of Glen Beck and realize where hate grew. His divisive programming started under "W." He defined the CLASSIFICATION of politicians into camps and then exploited that interest into power. Indeed, Beck was even to the White House for an "Attaboy." As soon as Beck started his power programming, the right extremists were there as guests to speak to the viewership. The right wing wanted this.

Politicians can no longer simply be elected and do a good job, they have to prove loyality to an electorate that is corrupted by impoverishment of their values.

US Representative shot himself in the foot. Republicans breaks the law regularly.

I think Representative Loudermilk is partly honest, but, there are obvious lies that raise a lot of suspicion regarding the safety of others in the USA Capitol.

As an another example of which there are very many Republicans that break the law, is the primary in Michigan of Ryan Kelly (click here). Michigan has militias and they will vote for someone with their point of view. The FBI is nothing for these people if there is an arrest. Governor Whitmer has been in the crosshairs of these folks for several years now.

The American people need to understand the people that back Trump are somewhat criminal themselves. White Supremacists/Nationalists have been around a century and this is the best shot they have at taking down the laws that provide equal standing under the law of minorities. It is their opporunity to remove federal supports for people attempting to raise themselves up out of poverty into the Middle Class and beyond. So, as far as the supporters of Trump, these are long term grievances that are generational. Those grievances must be addressed, but, that also means prosecution and prison for those that are violent and hate minority citizens of the USA and; yes, those seeking asylum and opportunity in the USA.

But, as to Loudermilk, he broke the law and/or the rules. He allowed insurgents and a child that appeared to make the tour legitimate into the USA Capitol before the Meeting of the Electoral College. That was his first offense. I understand he had sympathy for the pleadings of this insurgent American and his family and friends in that they were never to Washington, DC before, but, he broke the law and/or the rules. The idea a man and his family were only going to be in Washington, DC for a tour of the Capitol once in their lifetimes only speaks to the inexcusable poverty Republican voters face on a daily basis. The man that toured with Rep. Loudermilk needs to make testimony and quite possibly face charges as he was involved in the insurrection the next day.

It is a sad truth that Republican voters are impoverished. Reflect now on that fact and the idea they have unlimited access to weapons of war. The damnest thing about Republicans is that they always vote against social programs, including food stamps, that help these very Americans to extend their income. Many Republicans that the Democrats carry a great deal of sympathy for are trapped in the status of the Working Poor. Well, if you really want to make a case of conspiracy against these people, just look at Republican votes. Such dynamics encourage violence due to the hopelessness of their plight. Not even Medicaid Extensions when Obama passed the Affordable Care Act. The governance in these states is abysmal and yet they are still and repeatedly voted into office.

If there is a golden eagle scone on the wall Rep. Loudermilk stopped to allow a picture to be taken, then I do believe that aspect of the tour. An American insurgrent would find that inspiring. However, this insurgent was taking pictures of stairwells while the Representative was down the hall talking to others. The others obviously served as a distraction to nefarious activity by the insurgent. No doubt the insurgent planned to lead a mob to cause harm and/or death. "Hang Mike Pence," is not a protest, it is a threat against the life of the then Vice President as well as a threat against the USA Consitution and lawful presidency's transfer of power.

God, guns and country. The insurgents come from a lack of profound comfort and often impoverished. They subscribe to poverty and suffering everytime they vote godliness into office to end abortion. The insurgency in the USA is also a financial consideration as they can find themselves into office for the first time and/or part of a political non-profit. The entire paradigm reeks of  corruption of the values of these people.

So, it seems to me Representative Loudermilk needs to tell the truth as to what he knew about this insurgent and his willingness to be a part of a scheme to end the presidency of Joseph Biden. There are many legitimate questions regarding this insurgent and his activities on a day when the Capitol was closed to visitors. Representative Loudermilk violated rules and laws that facilitated the violence the next day. That in and of itself is significant. No voter from his district should be proud of his obvious role in the violence that would follow.

The January 6th Committee convenes again today.

Former Judge Luttig is absolutely correct. The revelations about Former Vice President Qualye illustrated how very, very close we were to violent failure of our US Constitution.

Michael Luttig, (click here) former Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals judge, now a consultant for Coca Cola, right, with his wife, attorney Elizabeth Luttig, left. April 4, 2021.

Retired federal judge J. Michael Luttig, (click here) a Republican who is testifying at Thursday's January 6 committee hearing, will provide a sharp condemnation of former President Donald Trump's attempts to overturn the 2020 election, saying Trump and his allies "instigated" a war on democracy "so that he could cling to power," according to a written statement he intends to submit for the committee's record obtained exclusively by CNN.

Luttig outlined in his statement how close he believed democracy came to the brink....

Saving Ukraine is a huge paradigm requiring unprecedented meetings.

Protecting Ukraine is a matter of meeting Russia's enormous effort to kill off the people of that country. Russia has a large arsenal and it is throwing everything at Ukraine. It is flattening the cities and there is no safety for the return of people. The Russian resolve to continue the genocide is not only alarming, but, bringing about a new reality for the global community. I don't believe any country's leaders expected this degree of hatred of a people from Russia.

June 16, 2022

Visiting Ukraine (click here) in a show of support, the leaders also toured Irpin, where Russian soldiers are accused of committing atrocities. A day after the U.S. pledged $1 billion in additional military aid to Ukraine, NATO defense ministers are meeting to discuss the alliance’s future

direction....

The largest (click here) contingency of countries to date have joined Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to find a way forward with such alarming changes in Russian's willingness to take it's politics to war. Fifty countries today are alarmed by the events in Ukraine. This is a new awareness of Russia and national defenses are now being evaluated.

What contributes to the alarm is China's endorsement of the Russian war. The world cannot ignore this alliance. To ignore it is to increase the danger to all countries that love democracy.

Conversations with China are going to come into view now. China and Russia are shedding their masks of capitalism to carry out colonialism of other peoples and countries.

Russia has no legal basis to carry out genocide. Endorsing genocide is another alarming reality of China. The United Nations Security Council has become mute to any peace movement or peacekeeping force with two major powers advocating genocide of Ukraine.

President Xi Jinping of China (click here) backed the legality of Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine during talks with Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, the Kremlin has said, in what would constitute one of the most significant shifts since the conflict began more than 100 days ago.

"Vladimir Putin laid out his principled assessment of the situation in Ukraine and the tasks being tackled during the special military operation," Moscow said in its readout of the June 15 call, which took place on the occasion of Xi's 69th birthday.

"The President of China noted the legitimacy of Russia's actions to protect fundamental national interests in the face of challenges to its security created by external forces," the Kremlin said of the "warm and friendly" conversation.

President Biden is considering a federal gas tax holiday.

It is the only real control available unless the petroleum companies see it as a reason to ask more for their product sold by the gallon. Milk (click here) is sold by the gallon and it has not doubled in price in the same period of time as gas.

The American people need to do their part and get into an electric car or truck. The instability in the world is destined to continue for a long time. The USA has to be far more self-sufficient with the ability to trade with allies, too.

President Joe Biden has tried a little bit of everything (click here) to tame rising gas prices — from releasing emergency oil reserves to urging gas companies to ramp up production — but prices at the pump keep setting new record highs, regardless. Now the president is considering a federal gas tax holiday, according to The Hill.

The question is how much money consumers would save under such a move. The answer: probably not much.

Biden’s economic team has recently batted around the idea of a gas tax holiday and is expected to meet later this week for further discussions, The Hill reported on June 13. The move is designed to put a temporary halt to ever-surging gasoline prices. This week, the average national price pushed above $5 a gallon for the first time ever, according to AAA....

The Trump Years were met with a stronger socio-economic reason to end pregnancies.

What is going on with Kansas and New Mexico. That is a huge jump.

The article below is from KFF (Kaiser Family Foundation). Kansas majority of abortions is Caucasian women. New Mexico majority of abortions is Hispanic. If the Middle Class and Poor are struggling economically pregnancies are not welcome. But, we know the Trump years were full of hate of ethnics, especially immigrants. New Mexico shares a border with Mexico. There was a lot of trauma during those years. Why have babies if other relatives are mistreated and deported?

Reported Legal Abortions (click here) by Race of Women Who Obtained Abortion by the State of Occurrence

The number and rate of U.S. abortions increased from 2017 to 2020 (click here) after a long decline, according to figures released Wednesday.

The report from the Guttmacher Institute, a research group that supports abortion rights, counted more than 930,000 abortions in the U.S. in 2020. That's up from about 862,000 abortions in 2017, when national abortion figures reached their lowest point since the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that legalized the procedure nationwide.

About one in five pregnancies ended in abortion in 2020, according to the report, which comes as the Supreme Court appears ready to overturn that decision....

Each year, (click here) a broad cross section of people in the United States obtain abortions. In 2017, 862,320 abortions were provided in clinical settings in the United States.

The U.S. Supreme Court recognized the constitutional right to abortion in the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision and has reaffirmed that right in subsequent decisions.

However, since 2010, the U.S. abortion landscape has grown increasingly restrictive as more states adopt laws hostile to abortion rights. Between January 1, 2011 and July 1, 2019, states enacted 483 new abortion restrictions, and these account for nearly 40% of all abortion restrictions enacted by states in the decades since Roe v. Wade. Some of the most common state-level abortion restrictions are parental notification or consent requirements for minors, limitations on public funding, mandated counseling designed to dissuade individuals from obtaining an abortion, mandated waiting periods before an abortion, and unnecessary and overly burdensome regulations on abortion facilities....

This explains the higher Caucasian rate in Kansas. Interesting, some Kansas residents didn't find services there and migrated to other states.

In 2017, (click here) 6,830 abortions were provided in Kansas, though not all abortions that occurred in Kansas were provided to state residents: Some patients may have traveled from other states, and some Kansas residents may have traveled to another state for an abortion. There was a a 5% decline in the abortion rate in Kansas between 2014 and 2017, from 12.9 to 12.2 abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age. Abortions in Kansas represent 0.8% of all abortions in the United States....

There is pubic funding (click here) for some abortions for life endangerment, rape and incest. That explains why Republicans wants no abortions for rape and incest. THEY DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR IT.

That is going to be a problem if states completely eliminate abortions, the states that do provide for women's health will also have to carry the cost for out of state patients when it is provided under public funding. California is already assessing it's capacity knowing there will be many women coming there for abortions.

The Robert's Court is horrible. Across the board it is horrible. It insists on dismantling federal law in favor of state's rights. It is a STRATEGY to make the Federalist Society happy.

Certiorari is a focus for the Robert's Court. Certiorari needs to be included in any approach to the court. The Robert's Court likes to deny the Writ of Certiorari and return the case to the lower courts. It is a very big deal for this Supreme Court.

Writs of Certiorari (click here)

Parties who are not satisfied with the decision of a lower court must petition the U.S. Supreme Court to hear their case. The primary means to petition the court for review is to ask it to grant a writ of certiorari. This is a request that the Supreme Court order a lower court to send up the record of the case for review. The Court usually is not under any obligation to hear these cases, and it usually only does so if the case could have national significance, might harmonize conflicting decisions in the federal Circuit courts, and/or could have precedential value. In fact, the Court accepts 100-150 of the more than 7,000 cases that it is asked to review each year. Typically, the Court hears cases that have been decided in either an appropriate U.S. Court of Appeals or the highest Court in a given state (if the state court decided a Constitutional issue).

The Supreme Court has its own set of rules. According to these rules, four of the nine Justices must vote to accept a case. Five of the nine Justices must vote in order to grant a stay, e.g., a stay of execution in a death penalty case. Under certain instances, one Justice may grant a stay pending review by the entire Court.

The U.S. Director of National Intelligence concluded that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved Khashoggi's murder. Khashoggi was a Saudi national and an outspoken critic of the Saudi regime....

DO NOT HARM THESE MEN!

They need to be returned to their families. These men were motivated because of genocide. They are heroes. Their presence at Ukraine's border was a personal sacrifice to save lives. They could never imagine Ukrainians losing their homeland and their lives. They love their families and cannot expect to differentiate any reason for the killing in Ukraine. They are moral men and completely innocent and need to be returned to their failies.

Two U.S. military veterans (click here) have gone missing in Ukraine, and it is feared they have been captured by Russian forces, family members of the missing Americans said Wednesday.

Alexander J. Drueke, 39, and Andy Tai Huynh, 27, both of Alabama, went missing in the last few days near Kharkiv, a Ukrainian city not far from the Russian border, according to their families. Drueke had served in the U.S. Army and Huynh is a Marine Corps veteran, they said....

...Lois Drueke said she last spoke with her son by phone on June 5, and then received a message three days later on the encrypted communications platform Signal. His message said that he would be “going dark” and unreachable for a few days, and that he would be in contact again after completing an assignment.

The degree to which this killer sought out minorities for his hate is unsettling.

Zip code? Was FOX News in any content refer to zip codes predominantly African American?

The U.S. Interior Department...

...needs to recall unused oil and gas leases. Oil leases should never be developed or sold unless the is a reason for them and their use will benefit the people of the USA.

The US Interior Department should reassess the process and the degree to which the generosity of the American people are being abused by the petroleum industry.

Any right of way in the past ten years for oil pipelines need to be repealed. Water is a huge issue, especially in California. In the near future water availability is going to be a profound problem. Now is the time to take a realisitic look at public lands and the destruction and/or contamination of water resources.

The US Army Corps. responsibility for valuable water needs to be reassessed and extended to all waters that currently are used or will be used in the future for the people.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Regulatory Role: (click here) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Buffalo, Huntington, and Pittsburgh Districts cover portions of the State of Ohio (see map below). The purpose of this Fact Sheet is to provide information to the public on the USACE Regulatory role in activities associated with oil and natural gas production and distribution.

Since its early history, the USACE has played an important role in the development of the nation’s water resources. An important part of our mission today is the protection of the nation’s waterways and wetlands through the administration of the USACE Regulatory Program.

Under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 USC 1344) (CWA), the USACE regulates the discharge of dredged or fill material into Waters of the United States (WOUS), including lakes, rivers, streams and their adjacent wetlands. Under Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 USC 403) (RHA), the USACE has regulatory authority over construction, excavation, or deposition of materials in, over, or under navigable WOUS....

Water abundance and purity needs to be assessed by the US Forest Service and the value of those forests in maintaining water resources.

Below if any traces of these chemicals are in water there will be damage to health.

Washington - The Environmental Protection Agency (click here) is warning that two nonstick and stain-resistant compounds found in drinking water pose health risks even at levels so low they cannot currently be detected.

The two compounds, known as PFOA and PFOS, have been voluntarily phased out by U.S. manufacturers, but there are a limited number of ongoing uses and the chemicals remain in the environment because they do not degrade over time. The compounds are part of a larger cluster of "forever chemicals" known as PFAS that have been used in consumer products and industry since the 1940s....

The Climate Crisis is going to have it's way with women entrenched in poverty.

Chaital Mahato, (click here) 22, a housewife from Napara village in Purulia, came to Purulia town on Thursday for treatment.

Jacobabad, Pakistan - Heavily pregnant (click here) Sonari toils under the burning sun in fields dotted with bright yellow melons in Jacobabad, which last month became the hottest city on Earth.

Her 17-year-old neighbour Waderi, who gave birth a few weeks ago, is back working in temperatures that can exceed 50 Celsius (122 Fahrenheit), with her newborn lying on a blanket in the shade nearby so she can feed him when he cries.

"When the heat is coming and we're pregnant, we feel stressed," said Sonari, who is in her mid-20s.

These women in southern Pakistan and millions like them around the world are at the searing edge of climate change.

Pregnant women exposed to heat for prolonged periods of time have a higher risk of suffering complications, an analysis of 70 studies conducted since the mid-1990s on the issue found.

For every 1 degree Celsius in temperature rise, the number of stillbirths and premature deliveries increases by about 5%, according to the meta-analysis, which was carried out by several research institutions globally and published in the British Medical Journal in September 2020....

The two convictions below are an outrage and a direct assault against women. This is the problem with the right wing electorate. They take every political issue to the extreme and instill fear and terror.

For Brittney Poolaw who did the right thing to save the fetus inside her by going to the hospital. That wasn't good enough. This type of ABUSE by the system will result in more women dying without giving birth as they will stop going to hospitals that share information with legal authorities in a circumstance that was never a crime.

Pakistan must take example of the USA during heat crisis and build cooling buildings for people to go to and end any opportunity for heat stress that can lead to illness and/or death.

When a 21-year-old Native American woman from Oklahoma (click here) was convicted of manslaughter after having a miscarriage, people were outraged. But she was not alone.

Brittney Poolaw was just about four months pregnant when she lost her baby in the hospital in January 2020.

This October, she was convicted and sentenced to four years in prison for the first-degree manslaughter of her unborn son.

How she went from suffering a miscarriage to being jailed for killing her foetus has become the subject of much discussion online and in the press. Some on social media noted that she was convicted during pregnancy loss awareness month in the US. Others compared the case to Margaret Atwood's dystopian novel The Handmaid's Tale.....

Heat Stress - deterioration of any woman working under the climate crisis will begin with pain that is exacerbated due to dehydration. Any person, man or woman, who is experiencing pain should assess the amount of water (not tea or coffee) they drink daily. Hydration reduces opportunity for pain.

Confusion, altered mental status, slurred speech (click here)
Loss of consciousness (coma)
Hot, dry skin or profuse sweating
Seizures
Very high body temperature
Fatal if treatment delayed

These tragedies will occur in the USA, there is a cushion to some degree because of being a wealthy country, but, as that cushion strinks there will be problems no different than the Third World due to climate.

Minority Vote

Democrats cannot continue to seek minority voters because they are not getting results because of McConnell obstruction of votes. If Democrats continue to be defeated in the Senate majority without ending the filibuster the Hispanic community may try voting Republican as a block to pass their agenda and appear as a string Republican asset.

Democrats need to understand the Republican voter as well as holding the line on the Democratic values.
