As an another example of which there are very many Republicans that break the law, is the primary in Michigan of Ryan Kelly (click here). Michigan has militias and they will vote for someone with their point of view. The FBI is nothing for these people if there is an arrest. Governor Whitmer has been in the crosshairs of these folks for several years now.
The American people need to understand the people that back Trump are somewhat criminal themselves. White Supremacists/Nationalists have been around a century and this is the best shot they have at taking down the laws that provide equal standing under the law of minorities. It is their opporunity to remove federal supports for people attempting to raise themselves up out of poverty into the Middle Class and beyond. So, as far as the supporters of Trump, these are long term grievances that are generational. Those grievances must be addressed, but, that also means prosecution and prison for those that are violent and hate minority citizens of the USA and; yes, those seeking asylum and opportunity in the USA.
But, as to Loudermilk, he broke the law and/or the rules. He allowed insurgents and a child that appeared to make the tour legitimate into the USA Capitol before the Meeting of the Electoral College. That was his first offense. I understand he had sympathy for the pleadings of this insurgent American and his family and friends in that they were never to Washington, DC before, but, he broke the law and/or the rules. The idea a man and his family were only going to be in Washington, DC for a tour of the Capitol once in their lifetimes only speaks to the inexcusable poverty Republican voters face on a daily basis. The man that toured with Rep. Loudermilk needs to make testimony and quite possibly face charges as he was involved in the insurrection the next day.
It is a sad truth that Republican voters are impoverished. Reflect now on that fact and the idea they have unlimited access to weapons of war. The damnest thing about Republicans is that they always vote against social programs, including food stamps, that help these very Americans to extend their income. Many Republicans that the Democrats carry a great deal of sympathy for are trapped in the status of the Working Poor. Well, if you really want to make a case of conspiracy against these people, just look at Republican votes. Such dynamics encourage violence due to the hopelessness of their plight. Not even Medicaid Extensions when Obama passed the Affordable Care Act. The governance in these states is abysmal and yet they are still and repeatedly voted into office.
If there is a golden eagle scone on the wall Rep. Loudermilk stopped to allow a picture to be taken, then I do believe that aspect of the tour. An American insurgrent would find that inspiring. However, this insurgent was taking pictures of stairwells while the Representative was down the hall talking to others. The others obviously served as a distraction to nefarious activity by the insurgent. No doubt the insurgent planned to lead a mob to cause harm and/or death. "Hang Mike Pence," is not a protest, it is a threat against the life of the then Vice President as well as a threat against the USA Consitution and lawful presidency's transfer of power.
God, guns and country. The insurgents come from a lack of profound comfort and often impoverished. They subscribe to poverty and suffering everytime they vote godliness into office to end abortion. The insurgency in the USA is also a financial consideration as they can find themselves into office for the first time and/or part of a political non-profit. The entire paradigm reeks of corruption of the values of these people.
So, it seems to me Representative Loudermilk needs to tell the truth as to what he knew about this insurgent and his willingness to be a part of a scheme to end the presidency of Joseph Biden. There are many legitimate questions regarding this insurgent and his activities on a day when the Capitol was closed to visitors. Representative Loudermilk violated rules and laws that facilitated the violence the next day. That in and of itself is significant. No voter from his district should be proud of his obvious role in the violence that would follow.
