About four months went by when Romeo came to Jane on Google Hangouts once again. She was surprised to see the icon with his image on her phone.  She had second thoughts about answering it, but, thought perhaps he might want to apologize. That was not the case.

Romeo stated he was simply checking in to see how she was doing. Of course the global pandemic was in full swing in 2021 and she believed he might be lonesome and simply needed to talk. So, she said she was absolutely fine and was hoping the same was with him and his beautiful daughter.

He stated his health was good and his daughter of course was still in the USA living with her caregivers and she was healthy and well. He asked if she could do him a favor. He needed to update his iPhone and needed an Apple Gift Card. He explained downloads of updates were not available overseas and he needed an Apple Gift Card to carry out his task. He stated he still needed the phone for his work in the gas fields and he needed to be able to communicate with his crew on the job. 

Jane stated she thought that was a very odd request since they hadn't talk in such a long time. He stated he would not have bothered her, but, the supply chain issue didn't allow for delivery of Apple Gift Cards.

All that seemed right to Jane although she now admits she didn't have a clue about that being the truth. She thought about his daughter and perhaps him losing touch with her and she said she thought she could help. He asked for $300.00. She was astounded. Jane stated, "I thought $25 would help, but, $300, I just don't have that kind of money laying around to buy Apple Gift Cards."

Romeo begged for her help and she said she would be able to scrape together $100, but, not $300. Romeo stated that would be a good start and maybe she could do better later.  During their conversations Romeo stated there were many scam artists out there and he knew of an investigator that could assure her that he was a good person. He stated he wasn't going to use the Apple Gift Card for nefarious purposes.

This purchase is in the next entry. If there is any law enforcement interested, Jane was scammed and this needs to end. Romeo stated he was still in Qatar working on the gas fields when these images were sent across the internet. If this was a scam carried out in Qatar, the Apple Gift Card was purchased in Michigan for $100.00. This is not right. It should not be going on and these are monies she did not readily have. She saw this as a one time assistance, but, Romeo did not.

He continued to write to her making small talk. After a couple of weeks he stated he really needed the other $200.00 in gift cards. She simply stated it was a burden she could not help with and asked how his daughter was doing and did he call her. Romeo stated he would be going home to the USA for Christmas and would not be returning to Qatar as he wanted to be a better father. Jane stated that was wonderful and he must be excited in that it was less than a month away. 

He asked again about the Apple Gift Card and Jane One stated since he was going home by Christmas he would be able to download all the updates upon touch down in the USA or sooner, perhaps in flight. He carried on something terrible and Jane One stated, "Good night, Romeo." Look me up when you get home to the USA.

A few weeks went by and Jane One that should would see if Romeo One had made it home. When she went to write on Google Hangouts, she was blocked from any exchange. She was very surprised. She was convinced he was serious about the interest in her for marriage and she then realized she knew nothing about this man and his daughter. Was unsure about his residence, could not get in touch with him in any other way than Google Hangouts and she decided she was used and abused. She determined Romeo One indeed had a temper and it showed by his nastiness in blocking her on Google Hangouts.

Jane One is retired and comfortable in her late fifties. She is not married and only occassionally hears from her children who live at a distance. Michigan is a fairly big state.

I thought this relationship was fairly benign. The familiar relationship took place over time and was not exploitive immediately. 

Case One

The women will be referred to as Jane. The men will be referred to as Romeo. So this is Jane one and it is Romeo one.

He is a foreign born man that states he resides in the USA. He states he works in Qatar and has a daughter in the USA cared for by a trusted family. He states the daughter is 8 years old and a Christian. 

That is also a common thread. These men have daughters they are willing to talk about and share ONE picture with their victim. 

Now according to Jane 1, this was a relationship that was fairly benign. It started with Romeo approaching her on LinkedIn. She was invited to converse casually with him on Google Hangout." She had never used that service of Google before this superficial relationship.

The exchange was friendly and a pleasant part of her life. She didn't know him well but after a time she believed every word he stataed. She said he definately was interested in marriage and a mother for his daughter. He stated he was a widower and ready to find another wife. The exchange lasted for a short while and then she said he showed her his temper in conversation and it abruptly ended.

This is a difficult blog to write this evening.

It involves others that would normally never be found on a blog report. It also involves legal issues, confidentiality and personal drama.

I have reflected on this for the past three weeks to decide the best way forward. There is a lot at stake if I don't post this tonight. I have thought it through as best I can without a lawyer down the hall with easy access to content.

These are love stories. The ones I am most familiar with are of women age 55 and older, however, there are also young women carrying on with older men to satisfy their paradigm of deceit and money. This is a serious issue and it is not being addressed. That is why I am spending this evening adressing it here.

It is a "Me, Too" issue. It involves financial security for women. It exposes their most vulnerable aspect of themselves and uses that intimacy to sow undeserved trust. I have tried to put a name on it, but, the absolute best psychological word for it is "Stockholm Syndrome." The relationships can be very cruel and invasive in ways not normally considered by lovers.

I will discuss two cases this evening. Each one is at the opposite end of the spectrum as I can understand it. There is a pattern. It is a crime that sets their victims up in relationships before the final crime is committed. By crime I mean there are bank identities and services used by the men (no women perpetrators that I am aware of, although men have been victims,
but, most likely to other men).

It is international and dangerous in that Americans are vulnerable due to cultural issues. There are also government systems in play that are quite unbelievable. But, these systems are compromised and used without conscience except to achieve wealth of the man involved. I also believe there is international racketeering.

These woman are educated and former or current professionals. Some are licensed. Their experiences in life have opened them up to others that causes a shift in self-interest into the interest of others.

Both the cases I am going to discuss this evening started on LinkedIn (click here). There are currently at least a couple of dozen of women that have maintained their LinkedIn profiles that have been solisited and/or schammed for money. There are some that have left the site completely. The banks involved tell these women it is a scam and not identity theft. Legally, the women are responsible for all the trouble that comes their way. It never occurs to them at any time that they are in any type of peril. To them it is a loving relationship laced with complete trust. They believe their well being is esteemed by the men involved. It is amazing to realize the invasiveness of this paradigm.

LinkedIn has a sincere problem in that they don't accept responsibility for their accommodation of this tragedy. The men are well rehearsed in the policy. If a member of LinkedIn finds a person attractive and wants to date or correspond take the conversation to "Google Hangouts." And they do. That is exactly what the predator men do. After they introduce themselves to the woman they ask to take the conversation to Google Hangouts and the fun begins.

The women are often retired, but, keep their LinkedIn sites because they like to read the daily entries from friends, former co-workers or organizations and newsletter they have enjoyed. They are mostly open to other opportunities that are work related and some are more than qualified to be consultants to business and it is a way of being available for such opportunities.

LinkedIn does not allow social entities such as groups that would support such issues. If the women were allowed to congregate at a site where they could share war stories, it might stop. LinkedIn never allows such social content. In addition, there is no place on LinkedIn that allows members to communicate with the business offices. At no point in time did these women have an opportunity to report the behaviors that compromised them. 

Basically, there are men from other countries allowed on the LinkedIn site to look at professional women with means to decide if they think they can scam them and get money out of them. There is nothing stopping that. I can't help but wonder if LinkedIn is aware of the exploitation of women and some men on their site in the manner it occurs as I will state it here. The women are mostly ashamed and rather take it to their graves than handle it in a way that can resolve some idea of justice.

They are all American women. I do not know of one case that is a foreign citizen. It probably takes place, but, I am unaware of it. The men are all from other countries. There are no American men engaged in these activities to my knowledge.

The men justify their acts with the women throughout the time they are involved as a loving relationship that will go on forever. They tell them, "You are happy because I love you." Even after the worse happens, the men repeat those words over and over as if that is supposed to sooth the women into compliance with the relationship. Only when it is too late do many of the victims realize this is a mistake. They don't understand how they became so involved.

American women are vulnerable.

Romantically, the American women's culture believes love can happen at any time and we should welcome it.

In fact, when I thought about this, most successful married couples I know met each other when they were young and frequently in high school together. There are succesful married couples I know that met when they worked together or shared a gather together such as church.

I guess there is "The Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" that provides the venue for strangers to meet and become married. There are all sorts of dating apps and  I know a cousin was successful in finding a husband that way. They are married four years. They are both Americans.

I just question the idea of romance and marriage in the USA and the casual nature which it is carried out.

Betty White was a wonderful person for all the many years of performances we enjoyed. I think she is right. Women are petty and delicate and for that reason they need good friends to confide in that helps with serious decisions about love, marriage, trust and long distance relationshiups.

A very relevant video named "Jaan." It is Indian in orgin. There is a romantic movie named the same.

"Punjab" is in India. It is considered a cultural mix of India and Pakistan. Tuck that fact and the meaning of Jaan, which is sweetheart, beloved, darling in relation to life and soul. In other words, similar to the word marriage in Western culture.

The National Guard is housed within the USA military.

Our mission makes us different. (click here) Unlike the other branches, Guard Soldiers can be deployed by the governors of their resident states to support communities stricken by natural disasters like floods and hurricanes. Guard Soldiers can also be deployed by the president of the United States to defend our country or support our allies overseas. This dual role for the Guard is what makes us unique.

The National Guard can be called up by Governors to the state they are governing to assist with domestic problems such as flooding. But, during this global pandemic we have seen the National Guard and the USA Navy Comfort and Mercy ships (click here) deployed to major cities to assist with establishing temporary hospitals to care for the overflow population from the hospitals.

When ANYONE trampers with the USA military to move them against the country it is called treason.

Most who hear the word treason usually limits it to a president or commander giving orders to bring the USA military under dire conditions that defeats their purpose. In other words, the USA military is delivered to the victory of the enemy. That is a false narrative.

When ANYONE causes the lack of readiness in the loyalty of the military to the USA Constitution that is treason. Being able to harness fears within the USA military to divert the power of the military to domestic distrubance, that is treason by the person(s) initating the directive and those in the USA military that carry it out. No different than the soldier that died during the insurrection, she was committing treason against the USA Constitution either as a coupe against the incoming president or dismantling of the constitutional processes or both.

If estrangement is occurring within the USA military from loyality to the USA and it's Commander and Chief the command structure needs to relieve those soldiers, regardless of rank, from their duties to address their concerns to a miltiary tribunal to decide if they are still fit to serve.

This plays right into Russia's plans for reconstituting the USSR and disabling the USA from assistance as an ally.

I don't recall President Biden visiting the military at their bases, but, obviously, post Trump, it needs to be done. The US House and US Senate also need to consider expelling those that have been loyal to the attempted coup of January 6th. I doubt a slap on the wrist and removing committee assignments will be considered a strong enough measure by those that will stop at nothing to end this democracy for their own purposes.

 

Secretary Blinken is absolutely correct in warning other countries about Russian occupation.

Moscow - Russia responded angrily (click here) on Saturday to a comment by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken that Kazakhstan might have a hard time getting rid of Russian troops, saying he should reflect instead on U.S. military meddling around the world.

Blinken on Friday challenged Russia's justification for sending forces into Kazakhstan after days of violent unrest in the Central Asian country....

To begin, the USA does not meddle in other countries' affairs, we OFFER friendship, trade and alliance. That is not meddling. On the other hand, Russia does not offer anything except control over citizens through threats of death knowing full well, in the future Russia will seek conscription of soldiers in countries it occupies to enter a war with Ukraine.

The last we heard about the great Peng Shuai was three weeks ago.

She’s a three-time Olympian who has won 25 tour titles over the course of her career, and her trailblazing success has helped to propel women’s tennis to new heights in China. Then, this November, she disappeared....

I think everyone who cares about citizens from communist countries needs to take a step back from promoting activism with them. The West is getting it's feet wet with "Me, Too." That movement has been very successful even in places like India. But, this episode with Peng Shuai should remind Western activists dynamics that permit Western women to speak out and demand their respect and rights to their own bodies without mutilation of any kind, sincerely is asking for trouble when it pertains to countries such as China and Russia that silence their opposition with prison or worse.

I sincerely hope Peng Shuai is doing well and enjoying the sport of tennis within any hometown she may be living right now.

I am worried that taking the spot light off her will result in her complete disappearance or worse.

Is it better to remain silent or should we be asking to see her in public again?

I doubt she will ever be allowed to compete internationally again because China doesn't want to risk the potential of her receiving asylum and playing tennis for a democracy.

The first order of COVID test kits for home was issued in September.

The government did it's part, so where are the distributions of the kits to provide some understanding to the DOD as to where the National Guard may be needed first?

Require the popular vote to decide all elections. 

Simple and a clean break from danger to our democracy. It requires an amendment to the US Constitution. It should begin to be promoted as an amendment by a non-profit organization in all 50 states. It requires a super majority in Congress and a majority of states.

The movement must begin now with a clear understanding the US Constitution faces a flaw and a dangerous flaw.

Tucker Carlson is correct.

Ted Cruz is calculating his statements, where he states it and how he stated it. He will make that electoral speech again. The die is cast.

Republicans are very vindictive. They have held every action against their “brand” as a sour lemon on their tongue and will seek to prove the Democrats are cheaters and thieves. 

What’s his name? The West Virginia guy? The Senator at the center of “I am afraid of Republicans?” Joe What’s his name? Joe Manchin recently said if Republicans aren’t included in a bill they hold that against us. He is correct. How many times have I heard Robert Bork when they vote for or against judges? The Republicans carry grudges from the past, but, that is no reason to cower from them. When Democrats cower from Republicans there is only more reason for them to be emboldened.

There is a plot against the existence of the USA. The plot is supported by other sovereign countries. The Republicans that exist ten years after Richard Cheney’s service are the Plutocrats. If I was a country that wanted to destroy the USA without being destroyed I would back those in the USA that could buy their seats, including the presidency.

So, when Ted Cruz stated the insurgents were terrorists he meant to talk down to them to stop plots currently among them that plans for an armed assault. These bozos talk openly about their plans in the public realm. You have to pay attention. Ted Cruz is calling them terrorists to intimidate them so the What’s it’s name plan won’t be interrupted again. The Sweep. Not Grocery Sweep. Ahhhhhh….the Wisconsin Sweep, no….the Minnesota Sweep? Oh, wait. The Greenbay Sweep, yes? 

It doesn’t matter. What does matter is that Ted Cruz was beginning the process for Trump, there were more than 150 Republicans that voted for the coup and what is more important is that they aren’t thwarted.

It is out there now. How are you going to end the diabolical paradigm built by a narcissistic  billionaire. One way is for President Joe Biden to conduct a Middle Class Renaissance. That would strengthen the Americans resolved to embrace democracy without being disappointed.

Supreme Court and COVID

Few employers in the USA have employees that do not smoke. Employees are not allowed to smoke in the workplace. Why? Because smoke enters the air and travels to cause disease with secondary smoke. That dynamic is magnified by severe danger that can result in death due to COVID-19 and it’s variants. Vaccines are the only preventable method to protect life.

In regard to employees that smoke, they are assigned to special areas to smoke a cigarette. It is impossible to smoke with a mask. So, the idea employees will be breathing air at the smoking shed is all that much more to be a reason to require vaccines in the workplace.

President Biden’s administration is trying to maintain safety for all Americans while recognizing that work is important. Requiring vaccines for the workplace is the least invasive measure and the least expensive measure for any employer. 

Driving a tractor trailer is probably the most isolated job in the USA. Even those long haul drivers are exposed to others at delivery and pick-up points. In recognizing people die of this virus and outbreaks put extreme pressure on the USA health system there is absolutely no employer exempt from causing that burden.

The culture in the USA causing outbreaks and spreading this virus is a profound danger to all Americans following all the rules and recommendations. It is ridiculous to think mandatory vaccines are a threat rather than a salvation.

Ahmad Arbery was murdered due to racism

This is an issue of societal testing the face of hate. The convicted murderers are dangerous men. They will not change their racist culture while in prison. The prisons are lined with racists divided into different camps. These people do not see the difference between prison or freedom. They are dedicated to racism and will be supported by other inmates when they serve time. The three men need to be given life without parole.

Red States are the highest in COVID cases.

Florida is third highest in the entire country.

There is a reason for that level of infection, the Red State social culture opposes vaccinations. They also don’t wear masks. They don’t observe social distancing and their governance demands, regardless of childhood deaths, that child do not wear masks and schools must be open for classes.

The Red States in the USA conduct human rights abuses, not governance.

Let me make this clear. The Red States argue closing any social venues will hit the economy too much. Schools are not where tourism takes place or adults go to party.

Refusing to enforce mask, hand hygiene and social distancing during an increasing wave of infection is a human rights violation be it adult or child.

January 6th, we will not forget

The attack on our democracy started with the false election of 2016 due to the interference of Russia to place a Putin puppet in power.

Today, as the American people remember the insurrection that sought to carry out a coup, Russia is slaughtering protesters in Kazakhstan where Russia wants an occupation to begin to reconstitute the Soviet Union.

Domestically, the Republican Party is attempting  to end “the vote” to decide leadership at all levels of government. In the state of Georgia where profound democracy found its expression in 2020, the Republicans in power are seeking to end it.

The insurrection was inspired by Putin’s choice in 2016. We now know what plans he has for the USA democracy and the future of our children. It cannot be allowed ever again.

January 6th will live on in our memories forever.
