The US Senate made the wrong decision on fracking.

Typical Republican bill, erring on the side of “business knows best,” simply says “go ahead” be as destructive as you want. That isn’t the approach that needs to be taken with natural gas wells. 

THEY LEAK!

They leak a lot. They leak into the air and they leak into the water. Fracking wells break the laws of the Clean Air Act and The Clean Water Act. The petroleum industry was given a lot of freedom from important laws in the 2005 (the year of Peak Oil) Cheney Energy Bill. 

If the country INSISTS on drilling for natural gas it must be done without ANY leaks and through safe pipelines that need repair and replacement.

Energy companies are lavished with new pipelines for the sake of jobs. There aren’t that many jobs in a pipeline. A couple of thousand on long pipelines. There are more jobs created in repairing and replacing existing pipelines. First the old stuff has to come out and then the new pipe gets laid. It is like a double fit for each pipeline replaced and/or repaired.

Additionally, the pipelines to cities and homes are never replaced and gas explosions happen. I am sure the occasional deaths are figured into the companies costs. 

Fracking and pipelines must be heavily regulated to prevent methane into Earth’s atmospheres. The 2005 Cheney Energy Bill needs to be repealed and replaced when taking the climate crisis seriously. There needs to be a national emergency for climate in the USA to rip the corrupt laws out by the roots.

The Supreme Court is incorrect about assemblies.

Church going is an assembly, not a grocery store. The virus exists at higher levels in assemblies where people remain in one spot for a length of time greater than a few minutes.

Indoor air is different than outdoor air. We know that a person infected with the virus will be a polluter rather than a breeze when indoors. In other words a person in an assembly, like church, is a smokestack of the virus. The accumulation indoors will infect others.

That is why indoor activities require better ventilation than in the past and quite possibly UV treatment of the air in HVAC systems. I am sure permitting processes can be instituted if an establishment’s air is proven to be safe. That might be the best way forward for California, a retired testing of air quality to determine fitness, which can be legislated.

The Supreme Court chose to ignore the science and decided a level playing field based on discrimination was in order. They are dead wrong. And for some parishioner that might the outcome.

For God’s sake California is in a state of emergency because of an irreverent president of the science. It is a stupid decision and citizens should be careful. The Catholic Church and it’s scientists as an organization, is more cautious than the US Supreme Court.

California needs vaccine.

I question the insistence of Trump’s testimony.

Since he is a known compulsive liar there isn’t much sense to it. The US Senate can offer him the opportunity to speak on his own behalf with the right to question him on lies accompanied by proof of those lies. Otherwise, go forward with facts, the laws Trump has broken with visual or auditory proof and a substantial sized list on a poster as a visual aide to the Senate members and the public.

The best that can come out of this hearing is conviction. Next to that, the best that can come out of this with corrupted Republicans is a clear demonstration of the facts to the American people.

The American people need to move out of a highly propagandize Republican White House. The same White House that incited the attack on the Capital and with goals to kill members of the Legislature including the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House.

The trial of Donald John Trump is the best chance we have to break down the propaganda and set Americans free to love their Constitution again.

The Republicans are playing a very dangerous political game. They are willing to bring members of their own party under their agenda of lies. In doing so they attempt to impugn other Republicans and instead to act against the USA Constitution by putting party before country.

The challenge going forward is to unleash the truth in everything done over the next two to four years. Basically, Trumpism is an enemy to the USA Constitution as are the people that practice it. I know no other better way to vanquish such an enemy but to disarm it’s premise and expose it’s guilt.

We must present the opportunity to purge enemy paradigms that seek to destroy our Constitution. It would be best to convict but the Republicans seem to be drunk on power.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is an enemy to the USA

You won’t read this any place else. Marjorie Taylor Greene is affiliated with extremists that fully intend to dismantle the USA Constitution. She condoned and enthusiastically backed the insurrection on January 6th. She didn’t mind if a person radicalized by her words or the words of Donald John Trump killed elected House and Senate members, including the Vice President, so long as she would never be indicted for a crime. Her plan was perfect so long as Trump was still president.

Just because the USA Constitution still stands today doesn’t mean it doesn’t have enemies and Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of them. Through a default election she made it to the USA House of Representatives.

The US House has acted against an enemy of the USA Constitution to minimize her power to assault the most vulnerable Americans, children.

The US House did the work that needed to be done and the country should be grateful for it.

Democrats need to codify current policy.

President Biden stated he is not writing law with his executive orders, he is ending bad policy and empowering good policy.

There are many aspects of government that needs bills to pass it into law. One of those places is the type of information before the EPA for decision making. There was a lawsuit yesterday that ended upended values within the EPA facilitated by Trump.

The reporting was “Science.” The title is, “Death of EPA’s controversial ‘censored science’ rule delights researchers.”

That said...I believe Congress needs to protect Americans from adverse politics. We can no longer trust our political system with some of the country’s widely held views to protect quality of life.

Congress must do more than learn from the experience with Trump. Congress must write and pass legislation to require the agencies of the federal government that receive taxpayers’ dollars to use THE TRUTH in decision making. That includes accepting the truth from highly qualified people on the subject. There must be an enforcement clause, in that, any lack of highly qualified Truth Telling will bring about a reduction in spending accounts, salary, reduction in security clearance and after those measures removal from their position without any impeachment, but, with standing policy. 

There should be no resistance to that policy because highly qualified is a peer review measure that requires sober recognition of an alienated knowledge base. So, that means lobbyists that have a lawyers background and not much else are unqualified to make decisions requiring professional knowledge. 

Example under Obama:

Department of Energy was headed by a highly qualified physicist.

The EPA Secretary was a highly regarded chemist.

The American people pay taxes to be protected from danger. They have a right in the consistency of their government’s role in that protection.

Congress needs to get on with the Rescue Plan.

I know now why President Biden wanted to fast track his well researched Rescue Plan, testing is not being reimbursed.

There is an article in the New York Times, “Burned by Low Reimbursements, Some Doctors Stop Testing for COVID.”

Congress needs to include an Inspector General for the USA’s response to the pandemic. The virus now has variants that require containment including contact tracing. We need to know it is all working rather than just point to numbers that “sorta looks like it is improving.”

Pass Biden’s Rescue Plan now with an Inspector General to be sure nothing past or present became or becomes a slush fund!

The USA needs additional help for the Treasury to trace every penny to be sure Hedge Fund Managers are not supported by the legislation passed to save the people.

End the loopholes!

The Republicans are sexist.

Liz Cheney was not the only Republican that voted for impeachment, yet, she was the only one placed in the dock. 

The same is true of extremists like Greene. There were 150 House Republicans that stood with Trump on his accusations of having the election stolen. Out of those members there are a few tied to extremists like Jim Arroyo and Paul Gosar and Oath Keepers, Andy Biggs is part of the Stop the Steal campaign, Matt Goetz and Laura Bobert are connected to the Three Percenters. Goetz is also connected with the Proud Boys. All these groups are militias. Some of the House members are being looked at by the FBI and their involvement in the insurrection on January 6th. 

That is just the US House, there are US Senators on the fringe as well.

The GOP victimizes women in a heartbeat, but, it took them years to get rid of Steve King.

There are no excuses for McCarthy. He isn’t a leader, he is a servant to a group of Republicans that refuse to acknowledge that fact there was leadership in Liz Cheney that upholds the USA Constitution.

All 150 Trump identified supporters need to be followed for their extreme ideology. They took an oath, as did McCarthy, to protect the USA Constitution and in their partisan vote assaulted the Constitution to support violence WITHIN the USA Capital. There is a lot wrong. Far more members should have stood with Cheney.

The Proud Boys were declared a terrorist group in Canada. That means that elected officials that fall in line with the Proud Boys are now affiliated with terrorists as identified by an ally. The USA must purge itself of this extremism.

I will remind, these groups are active militias placing them within a very violent economy within the USA in the weapons of war culture. Having allies beginning to identify terrorists within our borders will open the USA in time with economic sanctions.

None of this is a joke and “just politics.” This is serious and the American people need to purge violent militias from it’s society. There is no room for weapons of war in the USA. Removing the availability of these weapons saves the lives of some of our bravest law enforcement officers as well as the local police we value.

Let me add one more thing. These militias justify their existence to stop an overbearing government. Trump and January 6th prove these militias can be harnessed and used to pretend there is a Deep State to cause insurrection against the USA Constitution. It must end. 

Let me get this right.

 Trump aided traitors to carry out an insurrection. The US House impeached Trump for his attack on the democratic process to install the new President. Democrats may call witnesses at the 2nd Trump trial and Lindsay Graham is threatening... the word is threatening...to bring FBI to testify about security failures. 

SO!

Your damn right there were security failures because Trump sat on his hands and watched the violence on television wishing to see his Vice President swinging in the wind!

I would love to hear Christopher Wray address that issue.

The truth is their were security issues because they were allowed to exist by people like Hawley and Green. 

The fact is there was an insurrection incited by Trump. The gallows were not erected i. The Capital. I want to know how those gallows were constructed, with what equipment and when by whom. That structure went up immediately and was secure enough to conduct lynchings. How did that happen? The insurrectionists got help and absolutely there were security breaches.

If the US Senate Republicans are going to carry out a dog and pony show and vote to not convict then the US House Managers must put all the information before the people as if the people were the jurists so everyone knows the gravity of all that was done to end this democracy. It is their job to tell the people how close they came.

Officer Brian Sicknick

He was murdered. There needs to be a trial for those that killed him.

He is a hero that loved his country. He saved innocent lives of those in the Capital. The people owe his sacrifice a great deal of respect. He stood to protect the country from those that would see this democracy destroyed. He lived up to his oath.

With all due respect for any Capital Officer that has died or has been injured, Officer Brian Sicknick was murdered during an insurrection. The crime surrounding his death is more profound and his sacrifice deeply felt.

That was quite a moment when

President Biden and the First Lady paid their respects. Brian died defending President Biden’s election.

US Representative Liz Cheney should be given the opportunity to be a manager to the impeachment in the US Senate. Liz Cheney is right. I think any political rhetoric against her should be pushed back. The people who want to live with a myth have to come to terms with the truth.

7 Americans died of gun violence today.

2 were children. In one case an argument between neighbors over snow shoveling turned into a murder-suicide with a 15 year old autistic son losing both his parents and now lives with his grandparents. 

The other four was a family. According to reports the police were upset at the grizzly scene of two dead children.

Weapons of war are known to be used in the argument between neighbors.

This country needs to get it’s priorities straight.

Sincerest sympathies to all those ..

 ... that experienced a loss today when two FBI agents were killed defending children. There is a sincere sense of loss I feel, especially after the violence at the nation’s Capital.

They may have saved the lives of many, many children because of their heroic actions today. This is still another reason why combat weapons must be controlled within the USA. This is a country that cares more about the commerce of weapons than the police and law enforcement agents that carry out the rule of law. Everyone that was ever a pro-gun vote is responsible for what happened today.

The monster the agents stopped today is the kind of monster Marjorie Taylor Greene tolerates when she states the violence leveled at children is myth. Well, it is not myth, it was is gun violence and the USA has shameful laws that allow weapons of war on its streets.

Remove the memorial.

The memorial for Ashli Babbitt on Capital grounds must be removed now. It should never have been allowed in the first place.

Ms. Babbitt is a traitor to the USA Constitution. There is no place on federal lands for memorials to traitors.

The officer of the federal government that shot Ms. Babbitt was a highly skilled individual incapable of anything other than self-defense and the defense of every elected official meeting to validate the election of the next President of the United States of America.

Enough of the ranting and raving about a stolen election. Go put a memorial in Maralago, FOX News and Hannity’s home, because they are the real killers of Ms. Babbitt.

The Sixth Dose

I think what the committee is saying it that a single dose as stated by the manufacturer is more than actually needed for immunity. I hope this information is released to the public.

Russia states THEIR demonstrations are about the USA.

WRONG.

The Russian people have wanted legitimate elections for no less than a decade. Alexia Navalny was poisoned because he wanted to lead the people of the country he loved. That has nothing to do with the USA, but, is novichok, Russian novichok, the choice of an old KGB agent.

The protests are about the dictatorship of Vladimir Putin, now in the Russian presidency facilitated by the same corrupt elections the people hate. People, even Russian people, can only be disappointed in their elections so long before civil unrest becomes a reality.

Unfortunately, the same propaganda campaigns in Russia, were leveled at the American people in 2016 and placed a president in the USA chosen and approved by Putin. We ended it and perhaps the people of Russia will be successful, too.

Pipelines

There needs to be a bill passed into law requiring all existing pipelines to be repaired and/or replaced before new pipelines are built. It will preserve jobs.

President Biden’s state department need to take up the issue of pipelines with other countries as well. Pipelines disrupt land and can destroy farmland and rivers when they ultimately leak.

The entire issue of new pipelines is ridiculous. 2030 is around the house corner and the use of alternative energies and electrical grids are the answer. Pipelines are obsolete. There is no need to build more.

New pipelines are a part of expanding the access to fossil fuels. Easy access to oil ended in 2005. The same year multiple category 5 hurricanes hit the USA, including Katrina. Ever since 2005, fracking has been widely used destroying land and caused seismic activity where it never existed before. There are areas of the USA that are uninhabitable because of fracking. The government was told about this disastrous technology long before it was widely instituted.

Fracking is an extreme measure. New pipelines mean new fracking and drilling that is about profits and not needed or affordable energy. Alternative energies are more affordable today that oil and gas. The problem is flipping that oil/gas paradigm and expanding the use of alternative energies, securing the electrical grid and ending pipelines.

The Biden Rescue Plan

Republicans are being given access to the White House in the spirit of bipartisanship. I am sure Democratic leadership will have access once the Republicans explain a plan without support for the states.

The Republicans caused a fall in taxes to the States with their tax bill. What do they expect from the states? I think the Republicans need to answer that question if they are opposing aid.

Stating the states need to raise taxes is a political statement. If the Republicans can target the states with a federal law, then the Republicans need to take ownership of the states’ struggle now. The states do not have the capacity to raise taxes that the federal government does, such as a Wall Street tax on transactions. So, what is the Republican answer for the states? They need to answer that because their constituents may end up paying higher taxes because they won’t act now.

Mayanmar

There has been a military coup in Myanmar stating there was wide spread voter fraud in the November elections. The military has taken the freely elected Aung San Suu Kyi government into custody before they were to take office.

Great things are happening in Washington, DC

I don’t want to sound like a cheerleader, but, President Biden is making everyday exciting. Between him, Senate Majority Leader Schumer and Speaker Pelosi there is much that will happen to benefit the people, hence, the country.

I strongly believe the threat of SARS-CoV-2 will be over by this time next year. I still am concerned about the children’s well being. My estimation was that as soon as the adults were immune then the children are safe. Now, I am hearing that immune people can spread the virus. For me that is counter-intuitive. Once people are immune they have no virus to spread. I am hoping this idea of immunity spreading the virus is just an old wives tale. 

I am hopeful more than ever that the climate crisis is on its way to being resolved. The problem strangely enough is still the persistence of the oil and gas industry. When will they get the message that the age of oil is over. Evidently, there are still oil leases being sold out of the Interior Department. I thought all that was on hold so proper assessments can be made. When does the corruption stop?

That brings me to the stratosphere. Yes, Earth’s stratosphere. I am still reading. This is the picture that is starting to come together. There are two studies that address a change in the stratosphere both in water vapor and temperature and get this after a decrease in water vapor in 2001, the increase started in 2002 and is continuing. 2002 is the year when the vortexes appeared in the North Atlantic and North Pacific. In other words the tropospheric vortices interface with the stratosphere just enough through the Tropopause to lend water vapor to its gaseous contain. That is my estimation and not the words of either study. 

The problem as I am concerned is that it had been nearly two decades of vortex dominance of the troposphere. The unhinged polar vortex has existed year after year now for six years. There is a consistent mixing of the two Earth atmospheres and one study suggests the Mesosphere as well. It is appearing to me to be a dire scenario that gives the impression of homogeneity becoming a threat to life on Earth. 

As soon as I find the evidence that I think exists I will put it here. I need to read through IPCC conclusions before I go much further with this, but, I believe it is time to admit the petroleum industry is adverse to life on Earth.

Any meeting with Biden...

 ...requires full social distancing and plastic barriers as well as masks. I remind that 69 Representatives and Senators have contracted COVID-19. All in all 123 Representatives and Senators have self-quarantined for one reason or another. 

A big room with high ceilings could accommodate a better meeting. A virtual  meeting would be best. A virtual meeting could accommodate Democratic leadership as well.
