Conservationist now have a place in the USA.

Thanks to Joe Biden the people that protect the land AND the people now have a place within the President’s Cabinet that can have a lasting effect on the beauty of this country and the health of the people. 

I am looking forward to the return of clean air and water for all the citizens of the USA. Good health needs to belong to everyone not just those that can afford it. 

The science community has a great deal of work to do to close out a devastating warming across Earth. A return to the Paris Climate Accords is a great first step and the USA must set an example and demand the best outcomes from all countries.

A Full Court Press

I noticed President Biden huddled briefly with the Former Presidents Clinton, W. Bush and Obama. He also mentioned Former President Jimmy Carter. 

Former President Carter is going to be helpful in many areas both domestic and international. President Carter was well received in the Middle East and brokered the Camp David Accords. 

Jimmy Carter is the Democrats best kept secret. He commanded the Panama Canal Treaty, was involved with Afghanistan before bin Laden, developed full diplomatic relations with China and closed on SALT II. And that was only his international achievements.

He created the US Department of Education and expanded national lands as well as took up the mantle of the environment making it sustainable for some regulation reform for the trucking and airline industries. He protected Social Security and removed racial barriers for minorities and women. He created 8 million jobs and cut the deficit during his administration. It is unfortunate the politics only allows for him to be branded with a failed hostage rescue. 

Honestly, not bad work for a former Navy officer.

We saved our country to be at this moment.

Congratulations to all Americans. We have saved our democracy.

It is a great day.

We have the perfect team elected to the Executive Branch. We will prevail with the dedication I know Joe Biden and Kamala Harris brings to their leadership.

Has the COVID-19 team arrived to disinfect the White House?

I am assuming the limo has been disinfected from top to bottom, including the trunk. 

Hopefully, Camp David is pristinely clean.

Marine One now has to be disinfected. Pay attention to the hand rails. Trump was always hitting them for some reason as he entered all the vehicles.

 A pardon? Trump just exonerated the Alt Right and reinforced hate.

President Biden has to stand by his Cabinet choices.

Hawley’s objection of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas is based in hatred and racism. Hawley supports the violence of the insurrectionists and does not deserve an opinion yet alone an objection.

Secretary Mayorkas will have to serve as an “Acting” Secretary until things change. He is perfectly qualified and there should be no objection. 

Gallows

Reports today are in the newspapers about how murderous the insurrectionists were with their intent to hunt down Congressmen and women to prevent the peaceful transfer of power.

If one examines the actual gallows that they built, it was planned for killing. The gallows was made of two telephone polls with a platform to carry out lynchings. Those structures went up in a short period of time. 

The crowd of insurgents were on a mission to murder the people of the Congress. It was never conceived as a symbolic gesture. They all should be charged with attempted murder. They were all in on it. They were all invested in that outcome.

Trump had to know their plans. It was to well organized and funded. That is another thing. Money was flowing into these efforts. At least one group, the anti-vaccine groups received more than $850,000 in PPP loans. There was no national security check for the PPP loans. These people are crackpots and got their hands on nearly a million US. There is a lot wrong.

How did anyone get telephone polls near the Capital? Pence had his family there as well. Why? Was he afraid to leave them at home and thought them more secure in his office?

To many unanswered questions. They had money from a non-profit and access. Were any of the authorities to protect life that day told to stand down? By whom?

McConnell and Pepsi’s homes were vandalized. Each member of Congress should submit a statement to their experience that day. They are strong people and it may just be much of their thoughts will never be know or included as evidence. They are an important piece to the puzzle surrounding this assault on the US Capital and them. Their identities were spoken in the mobs manhunt. 

Russia has a lot of explaining to do.

The “New Start Treaty” expires the first week of February.

Has Russia lived up to renewing it?

Russia should stop the Russian generated propaganda about the radicalized attack within the USA Capital and concern itself with the oppression of free speech and wrongful imprisonment of Alexis Navalny. He is a walking miracle for surviving a poisoning carried out by a criminal network in Russia.

Russia is and has exhibited the inability to safely conduct a nuclear program at all. There needs to be strict limits on incompetent practices within any renewal of the “New Start Treaty.” Russia’s priorities are very strange to allow such unsecured tests. It is questionable as to the skill level of Russian nuclear scientists after their radiation poisoning and deaths. 

There needs to be an international reporting of such activities leading to greater non-proliferation. Serious questions must be asked of the Russian program. A review of the credentials and experience of Russian nuclear scientists must be submitted for international review.

Russia has recently expelled two Dutch diplomats and has cancelled the Open Skies Treaty.

If their is no real competent Russian nuclear program then the New Start Treaty is mute except to oppress the USA and the West’s program.

The USSR had a competent program. That has deteriorated under the prolonged rule of Putin. Ukraine had all the nuclear scientists.

The Dutch incident is quid pro quo. The Dutch diplomats were never the problem. The real problem came from Russian diplomats that were outside their official duties. I think the Dutch incident should put all Western countries on alert to inappropriate use of Russian diplomats operating outside their official duties. Putin is not trustworthy.

MLK Day

The promotion of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day actually started with the labor unions in their contracts. It was to recognize the strong labor ethic in Black history as well as the man most responsible for nonviolent activism. Martin Luther King, Jr. and labor unions were based in nonviolent activism. “The Sit-In” was one of the first forms of labor activism.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day as a federal holiday was initially defeated in the USA House in 1979. Four years later an Indiana US Representative Katie Hall would introduce a bill that would pass into law making Martin Luther King, Jr. Day a federal holiday.

He is the prime example as to why Russia is evil.  There is no freedom in Russia, only oppression. 

It brings home the reality of Trump’s folly with Putin and other strongmen in the world. Trump is afraid of the shadows they cast. Trump huddled with Putin for hours in Helsinki. It requires impeachment. 

The USA must contain such oppression. It is toxic to human rights. Obviously.

Shut the damn country down!

If the vaccine can’t answer the problem than Norway should do as New Zealand has done and shut the country down until the virus is  under control! If any country can do this Norway can. The people will need to be patient no longer than a month and end travel in or out of the country without quarantine and negative tests throughout. 

Everyone knows it is the only one true method that works. 

The Elderly may not have a quick fix from SARS-CoV-3

Norway is following a trend with their elderly in that, while not conclusive, is showing deaths after vaccination. They are studying the facts and adults that are younger, and not elderly, are not showing strongly negative adverse signs for the vaccine. No specific brand was mentioned.

Norway is questioning the wisdom of vaccinating the older and oldest Norwegians.

Michigan Attorney General has to soft balling about the Flint Water Crisis. There is much more evidence about the crimes the former Govenor Snyder conducted while in office.

After more than six years of no accountability (click here) for former Michigan Governor Rick Snyder for his actions leading to the poisoning of the city of Flint, Snyder was arraigned on Wednesday for two counts of willful neglect of duty. He is the first of Michigan’s 49 governors in 184 years to face charges related to their time in office. If convicted, he could face up to one year in jail and up to $1,000 in fines. Snyder is among nine senior officials who are facing a total of 42 criminal charges for their actions that caused a deadly Legionnaires’ disease outbreak in Genesee County, and caused permanent, irreversible brain damage due to lead poisoning to thousands of Flint children....

Jordon Chariton, on the podcast "Rumble by Michael Moore," reveals the truth about the cover-up conducted directly by Rich Snyder. He has evidence to assist in the investigation to bring true jusice to the people of Flint and this country.

There are over 100 dead due to Legionella. The medical center was told at one point to stop testing for Legionella. There is an ongoing nightmare rolling out in Flint in the way of cancers and mental deterioration. At one point the people of Flint were told their water test was normal. They drank the water after those tests came in and they are now suffering from serious disease due to the ingestion of that poisoned water. 

According to Mr. Chariton the water mains in Flint have not been replace, but, the house pipelines are being replaced. That is ridiculous. How were such dangerous choice being made? Why replace the house lines if the water mains into the city aren't replaced? What was done to the water mains, line them? Where is the proof and lining water mains are not considered a permanent solution. I know that was being discussed under Snyder.

I have absolutely no doubt this was racism. The Michigan Attorney General must assign an investigaton into the corruption and political rangling that occurred. Snyder's friends and donors have profited by removing democratically elected local government and installing emergency managers to force sales of city assets and even poisoning the Flint residents. Snyder's criminal charges are grossly incomplelte, including manslaughter. He knew exactly what was happening during the entire Flint Water Crisis. He knew and he did nothing. The Michigan Attorney General cannot become an accomplice to the lies that Snyder tells.

The charges brought last week against all those people is just the beginning. I am grateful Michigan's Executive Branch is willing to bring charges, but, they need to complete the work to bring about justice.

The DOW has been over $30,000

There is absolutely no reason to throw money at Wall Street like Mnuchen has in past bill that were suppose to support the people.

This is just outrageous. There is a complete disconnect between Wall Street and the American people.

Lindsay Graham should has been voted out of office. He is now showing his true colors of Anti-Americanism in his siding with Trump and the insurrectionists. Trump will stand trial and the American people can see who in the US Senate are real Republican traitors.

Trump’s trial after he is out of office is not unconstitutional. Traitors can be impeached at any point in time. Traitors are traitors.

Graham seems to think Republicans will be hurt by same impeachment. So. Stop seducing White Supremacists/Nationalists as voters. Doing so is treasonous. Graham has too many problems with ideology to be in the USA Senate.

Northern Triad

The Northern Triad is in a state of emergency. Due to poverty and hurricane damage the three countries are experiencing trouble at their borders as the people are leaving for the USA out of desperation. The funding to this region must be returned. That funding is frozen currently.

Initially, the UN should be asked to deliver food and water straws to stop the desperation of the people. But, the return of the infrastructure must begin. Currently, the global pandemic demands stable populations without migration. I don’t know the plans the Northern Triad countries are making for vaccinations, if at all.

Suggestion: Along with funding send the USGS to assist in returning infrastructure stability. The USGS can assess the best lands to provide for stable communities, towns and cities. The land has become unstable due to years of severe climate crisis storms. That pattern will continue for years to come. If a stable infrastructure isn’t established the populations of these countries will continue to move north.

The funding can be used to pay for jobs of the people to rebuild their country. There is still problems with security in those countries so any deployment of the USGS and the Army Corp. of Engineers will require military security details. Of course, the government’s’ leadership will have to consent to the presence of the USA, but, conditions can be placed on the monies for infrastructure rebuilding to benefit the people. 

The charges need to fit the crime.

I congratulate the people of Flint, the Attorney General and those families that have suffered through this nightmare. The current mayor of Flint seems to think the charges against Rick Snyder are not as strong as they should be.

It always seems to be that the people most responsible for the crime receive the least punishment. Yet, people that simply carried out orders on their jobs felt so responsible.

Two people connected to the Flint water crisis (click here) were found dead within days of each other this month — but authorities swear there's no connection or conspiracy in the tragedies.
A friend found Matthew McFarland, a foreman at Flint's Water Treatment Plant, dead in his Otter Lake home on April 16, according to MLive.

Just three days later, Sasha Avonna Bell — one of the first people to file a lawsuit over the city's contaminated water supply — was shot and killed in a double murder....

...In one of the first lawsuits over Flint's contaminated water, Bell claimed her child had been poisoned.

Police said she was slain along with another woman, Sacorya Renee Reed, 19, by Bell's ex-boyfriend, Malek Emmanuel Thornton. An unharmed child was found in the home and is now in the care of other family members, police said.

"There'd been an ongoing feud between them prior to the homicide," Golden said of Bell and Thornton.
"It had nothing to do with the water suit."
Thornton, 18, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder. There are no other suspects for the shooting.
Golden declined to comment on the child in Bell's home and on Bell's conflict with Thornton, citing the ongoing investigation.
McFarland, 43, who worked for the City of Flint for 18 years, died "suddenly," according to his obituary. His cause of death has not been released, but police said foul play is not suspected.
Authorities did not immediately return requests for comment on his death....

Ideally, the person with the least amount of power carrying out the executive order is suppose to stand up for what is right. It isn't that easy. Pressure on employees to perform to standard regardless how wrong it seems isn't easy to simply walk away from the job and the income. Whistleblowers are brave people, but, as a society we can't count on such bravery in day to day living. Often when a Governor proceeds with what is wrong the employee assigned the task thinks the Governor knows best and he should not question him.

Mr. McFarland worked for 18 years doing the right thing under state and city authority that believed in the rule of law and the protection of life. Mr. McFarland ran into Rick Snyder and his life changed to a point where he could not live with himself.

Let's just say this is a good beginning, but, it is an incomplete criminal charge. I will comment further as time goes on. The full picture is not portrayed in the charges leveled at Rick Snyder today.

Former Gov. Rick Snyder appeared in a Flint court this morning (click here) and pleaded not guilty to two charges of willful neglect of duty as state prosecutors revealed indictments against nine defendants as a result of the Flint water crisis.

Despite the lower-level charges compared with other defendants, the case against Snyder marked a significant moment in the state's political history. Snyder is the first Michigan governor or former governor to be charged with a crime for alleged conduct while in office.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel praised the high-profile prosecutions led by her office's Solicitor General Fadwa Hammoud as well as Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy. Nessel had said earlier that she had walled herself off from the criminal cases, turning her focus instead to ongoing civil cases related to the contamination of Flint's drinking water beginning more than six years ago....

Johnson and Johnson is soon to seek approval of their vaccine which requires only one injection.

Trump says China wants to dissolve USA alliance.

He just figured that out? Joe Biden can ask Bill and Hillary Clinton to return peace to the region as special envoys. Bill Clinton has a fan club in North Korea. Seriously. Un’s father and Clinton were great friends. The relationship started to sour when “W” visited the DMZ. Time to turn back the clock. I have yet to understand why Republicans prefer confrontation over peace. I think they like to feel those hard borders or something. Un’s father was never interested in blowing up mountains by the way.

There are more options for peace now then before Trump.

The only leader in Asia that wants to exchange nukes is Putin. The reason is because Russia is so radioactive from scientific accidents and reactor meltdowns Putin sees no reason not to blow everything up. He is hoping Florida becomes the next Moscow with no radiation leaks. A little muscle flexing never hurt anyone. It keeps peace efforts engaged. Time to reread Colin Powell’s book.

Time to shine. The Democrats are the beacons of hope. No time to waste. The USA is up to the challenges before it. We have great leaders and the world will be healed. Go get ‘em Joe. Unlike Trump he won’t go it alone.

It looks like “Parlar” has some redeeming value. “The Verge” is reporting the collective use of Parlar has created a map of the attack. It can be used by law enforcement. The rumor is that no Trumps were anywhere to be found. No surprise there. They are all on their way to Florida to be shielded from the law by DeSantis.

The Kushners bought land on a security island off the coast of Miami. I thought they were popular. Oh, well. I am sure the island will be popular now. They haven’t built a house yet, not even an outhouse. Kushner must be selling his “666” property. I guess living on a security island is its own special form of exile. Any drug king pins live there? Just curious. Trump needs special funding for his rebellion.

The insurrectionists became a vehicle for Trump.

He justified his abuse of power as martyrdom for them. No different than his circle of loyalists. They thought their ideology and greed would be rewarded. All the insurrectionists and loyalists are getting is the loss of jobs and opportunity while ostracized by society. No pardon is going to save them from that. They are branded in a way they never imagined because of the propaganda that groomed them for over four years.

There are polls out that find large numbers of Americans abhor the riots and never want Trump to have the opportunity to run for president again. McConnell needs to try Trump on his second impeachment soon. Americans have had enough of politics that is toxic to democracy.

How about the New York Attorney General, Letitia James? She is suing the NYPD for civil rights abuses that have occurred for years? I guarantee you it is related to ruthless contracts by the union. I think she is on the right track. Their contracts can’t save them from civil rights violations in measurable patterns. It is about time corruption is gone once and for all.
