Measles, mumps, polio, and chickenpox (click here) are examples of infectious diseases that were once very common but are now rare in the U.S. because vaccines helped to establish herd immunity. We sometimes see outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases in communities with lower vaccine coverage because they don’t have herd protection.
Herd Immunity is a goal, not a methodology. That is especially true with SARS-CoV-2. The infection from that virus kills, maims and is unknown to its effect on the future of those who suffered from it.
Recently, in a talk with a friend she stated her husband's uncle contracted the disease. He is the first in their family to contract it and suffer from it. It has been weeks since he was supposed to have recovered from COVID-19, but, he continues to complain about unexpected bleeding. The bloods ability to coagulate is effected by SARS-CoV-2. He will have to go on being treated for what seems to be an anti-coagulation disorder after surviving the virus. First time I heard of it.
If that is herd immunity then I don't want it.
Twice this past week I read that if there are 6 percent of Americans that have been exposed to SARS-CoV-2 that the CDC knows of then there are ten others already exposed and recovered. That statement, whether accurate or not can only be stated as true if the testing backs it up.
But, for the sake of understanding Trump's delusional world where "The Truth" is imagined and made to be fact; then Trump has achieved HERD EXPOSURE, but, not necessarily herd immunity.
66 percent of a population could easily be declared herd immunity if the science proves it to be true. For the life of me I don't know why anyone would make such a broad sweeping statement, UNLESS, a re-election was important and the testing was proving to cause a fall in popularity polls.

Vaccines
A vaccine for the virus that causes COVID-19 would be an ideal approach to achieving herd immunity. Vaccines create immunity without causing illness or resulting complications. Herd immunity makes it possible to protect the population from a disease, including those who can't be vaccinated, such as newborns or those who have compromised immune systems. Using the concept of herd immunity, vaccines have successfully controlled deadly contagious diseases such as smallpox, polio, diphtheria, rubella and many others.
Natural infection
Herd immunity can also be reached when a sufficient number of people in the population have recovered from a disease and have developed antibodies against future infection. For example, those who survived the 1918 flu (influenza) pandemic were later immune to infection with the H1N1 flu, a subtype of influenza A. During the 2009-10 flu season, H1N1 caused the respiratory infection in humans that was commonly referred to as swine flu.
However, there are some major problems with relying on community infection to create herd immunity to the virus that causes COVID-19. First, it isn't yet clear if infection with the COVID-19 virus makes a person immune to future infection....
Additionally, exposing large numbers of Americans to SARS-CoV-2 in HOPES of achieving herd immunity is reckless and feckless. We already know this virus is a larger virus and it causes cell lysis (cell destruction) once the virus has used the cells DNA to replicate. That cell lysis causes the immune and clotting cascades to initiate causing blood clots and inflammation. Inflammation of cells is a very damaging symptom that results to some degree in organ damage. In the long view that organ damage there can ultimately be organ failure.
Realizing all this can occur in feckless leadership, the country is nothing more than guinea pigs to realize the the effect of a deadly virus on a population. Excuse me, but, there are computer models for that and not live unsuspecting American citizens.
So, we all know President Trump has been destroying the message of Dr. Fauci and the CDC in regard to precautions to insure Americans can eradicate the disease and never have the horrible effects of it. In that lies "the truth" about the motives of President Trump. It is obvious Trump decided long ago that herd immunity was the only path forward for a Western economic engine like the USA and enough people would survive herd immunity to continue to grow the USA's economy. I believe it is obvious and for UNSUBSTANTIATED statements to be stated and restated that "for every one confirmed case in the USA there are ten others unconfirmed" only lends itself to Trump's agenda and why he wants no more testing.
Every American needs to be tested and the real casualties of this virus MUST be known. As a matter of fact an extensive record should be presented to the American people as to the virus, it's damaging effects, how the future may be effected by the virus and full accountability of the monies the AMERICAN PEOPLE SPENT to stem the economic effects while fighting the existence of the virus.
I demand a full and comprehensive report from every government agency dealing with this virus and it's economic impacts, including the US Treasury Secretary and a full accounting of the monies AMERICANS authorized through their elected representative.
This is not about politics, it is about NEVER MAKING ALL THESE MISTAKES AGAIN!
Herd Immunity at the cost of American lives, wellness and unimpaired future is a huge human rights violation. Trump not only was feckless, his EXAMPLE of an unmasked man destroyed and is destroying lives. The latest nonsensical statements I am hearing is that "cloth masks don't stop the virus." No clue Sherlock. BUT, masks do stop the SPREAD OF THE VIRUS because it prevents droplet transmission in coughing and talking.
EVERY HEALTH OFFICIAL NOT HANGING THEIR HATS ON POLITICS, KNOWS THE MASKS WORK TO PREVENT SPREAD OF COVID-19.
Hand washing, social distancing, testing, contract tracing, meeting only in small groups of five and wearing masks to prevent the spread of the virus is all part of a strategy to end this virus. It must end. It must be eradicated. Follow the directions of Dr. Fauci and end the spread of COVID-19.
It is not safe to forget about the potential for spreading the infection.

Harper's Restaurant & Brew Pub saw shoulder-to-shoulder crowds after reopening earlier this month, including some college students from the affluent Grosse Pointes who unknowingly got infected and brought the virus back home. According to multiple families that are now in quarantine, one of those students who visited Harper's came into contact with a friend who held a huge house party in Grosse Pointe Woods, where dozens of friends partied without masks and social distancing, they said....

In case there are Americans that defend Trump, he is protecting the image of slavers.
History didn’t make up a story of slavery and the civil war. Juneteenth celebrated the end of slavery. The war is over and defending statues of human rights abusers and those that fought to continue slavery is racism. Robert E. Lee was a slaver, sent thousands of men to their deaths to maintain the slave trade. Robert E. Lee was a racist. His statue comes down.
Trump’s executive order to stop the removal of racist statues must be met with an injunction due to racism because of what they mean to the African American community and the danger they present because of White Supremacists; ie: Charlottesville. Additionally, that executive order does not have power over private property or states rights. This definitely brands Trump as a racist that admires men who want to kill Black people like the three in Wilmington.

China has expansionist plans into India.
India needs to stop hoping this is simply poor judgment of a Chinese general. China is preparing for strong actions along the border. India needs to build their war infrastructure. Now, not when the invasion actually begins. The first Chinese salvo already took place with the death of two high ranking India commanders and 18 other soldiers. The Chinese skirmish was the first actionable assault on India.
Pakistan could take advantage of China's new priority and bring a two-front war to India.
China (click here) has built new structures near the site of a Himalayan border clash that left 20 Indian troops dead earlier this month, fresh satellite images suggest.
Bunkers, tents and storage units for military hardware are visible in an area where last month there were none.
Fighting between the nuclear-armed powers over their disputed frontier has prompted alarm. Chinese casualties were also reported but not confirmed.
The latest images were published as the sides hold talks to defuse tensions.
The fresh satellite images, dated 22 June, are from space technology company Maxar. The structures which appear to have been built by China overlooking the Galwan River were not visible in aerial photographs earlier in June, Reuters reported.

The USA needs federal legislation requiring face masks in public otherwise there will be fines. Additionally, there needs to be mandatory testing of all Americans for a proper understanding of the extent of the infection of the virus. Contact tracing can follow a positive COVID-19 result and the USA can finally end this hideous virus from destroying lives and our democracy.
Governor Abbot from Texas stated the current methods being used don't work and strongly believe masks in public is mandatory with fines for not wearing them. If every American wore masks in public and practiced social distancing the virus would end by the simple fact there are no available victims.
The federal legislation must be veto-proof. The governors could say if any funding would be necessary. I might not need a great deal of funding. Most Americans can afford masks.
This virus, no different SARS, has to end. It has to be eradicated. There can be no more casual approach to this and certainly NO DENIAL OF THE SERIOUS OF COVID-19.

COVID-2 serves the purpose of government spending on business.
Glenn Hubbard (click here) wrote trump tax change. The longer Trump prolongs exposure of the American people to SARS-CoV-2, the longer the money will flow from the Trump White House.
The original plan by Dr. Faucie was to close the USA down for three weeks to shut down the virus. That was met with Trump's lies and deceptions about the virus and expanded and continues to expand the spread of the virus. The only reason to contradict Dr. Fauci is to spend a great deal of money to support the American economy of trillion of dollars.
I am concerned there is a side effect of Trump's "herd immunity" goal other than profound illness, handicapped outcomes to the virus of survivors and deaths. The side effect is enormous spending on Wall Street. Trump is scaling back on funding to defeat the virus making facial masks the latest bubble and bust item.
Glenn Hubbard is an advisor the president and is recommending $1.5 to $2 trillion spendings on business to so call "recover" from the ongoing tragedy in the USA. I know this is not a popular thought, but, Trump has no clue what is good for the economy AND the protections of enough debt for future generations of Americans. I think future spending has to be realistic and prioritizing the END OF THIS VIRUS, not the propagation of it.
I am worried about the very vicious priorities of Trump and the spread of the virus. The latest Trump staff infections included two Secret Service members. The longer this tragedy plays out in the USA the more and more money being spent on business. PPP was supposed to end the collapse of the economy FOR A BRIEF PERIOD OF USA HISTORY, not be a model for the future which would bring about tremendous debt for generations to come.
The plans Trump has for THE ECONOMY TO DEFEAT THE VIRUS doesn't make sense. He is taking advice from economists like Hubbard that may be expecting to be the next Fed Chair. Everyone in the circle of advisers to Trump has their own agendas. (REWARD FRIENDS AND PENALIZE ENEMIES!) At no point in time does Hubbard speak to the highest priority of the American people, FUNDING TO END THE VIRUS, not propagate new spending for Wall Street.
Trump is asking for advice without a clear long term goal and costs. This is all electioneering for 2020. Trump has no real plans to end the spending so much as continue his chances to stay in office.
HUBBARD NEEDS TO WORK WITH DR. FAUCI TO END THE VIRUS AND NOT BE FAUCI'S OPPOSITION TO RESOLVING TO END THE VIRUS. Trump's plans are dangerous and need to be tempered with THE FINAL END OF THE VIRUS in a FEW WEEKS, not years into the future. The casualties from Trump's COVID-2 approach are adding up and it is a very sad outcome.
I WANT TO SEE SPENDING TO END THE VIRUS, NOT BUILD A WALL STREET THAT HAS NO REAL PURPOSE BUT TO SPEND MONEY AND WIN ALLIES.
Hubbard was Bush's economic advisor. He is a supply-side economist. His advice builds warehouses without end to store goods that, in this case, has no real demand. Supply-side economics is exploitive of the Federal Treasury in a time when people should be sheltering at home. The USA doesn't need more warehouses that only stand empty in the long view.
END THE VIRUS, WITHOUT BLOWING UP THE USA TREASURY AND THE USA DEBT.
Herd Immunity should not be a goal. This is a very dangerous virus that has COSTS beyond an economic recovering. Trump has no economy except spending the USA Treasury.

Like millions of other Americans, (click here) Victoria Gray has been sheltering at home with her children as the U.S. struggles through a deadly pandemic, and as protests over police violence have erupted across the country.
But Gray is not like any other American. She's the first person with a genetic disorder to get treated in the United States with the revolutionary gene-editing technique called CRISPR.
And as the one-year anniversary of her landmark treatment approaches, Gray has just received good news: The billions of genetically modified cells doctors infused into her body clearly appear to be alleviating virtually all the complications of her disorder, sickle cell disease.
"It's wonderful. It's the change I've been waiting on my whole life," Gray told NPR, which has had exclusive access to chronicle her experience over the past year.
Sickle cell disease, a rare blood disorder that disproportionately affects African Americans in the U.S., can be difficult to treat effectively....

So, when the Middle East peace effort coughed up some money for Kushner it is on to overseeing the border wall. The $10 million a mile border wall. Overseeing it happens from Washington, DC so he is home everyday for dinner.
Amazing. So the border wall went to the contractors responsibility and Jarrod went on to hoard the national stockpile of hospital supplies for “US.” Never bothered to describe who is us but we know it isn’t the people of the USA.
I don’t know where to begin with Barr. I think his zeal for corruption started with Reagan’s Iran Contra coverup. Why not continue his long held affection for corruption. Barr panders to Trump. It makes me wonder what Trump has on him.
Everything COVID is out of control except the Tri-State area demanding quarantine for new arrivals. That is exactly what New Zealand does. Any new arrivals into the country are brought to the COVID hotel after testing positive. A few weeks there and they leave to mingle with the virus free citizens.
The list keeps getting longer. The prosecution of 21 Russia people KNOWN to play footsie with the Trump campaign ends while the prosecution of a former American marine begins and ends in prosecution for espionage. Now the marine is to be part of a prisoner exchange. A wedding invitation turned into a trial so Russia could swap out an honest American for convicted Russians in the USA.
Then there is the Flynn and Roger Stone circus.
This is not my country. This is not the Great USA. Trump never made the USA great, he cast it into turmoil and racketeering.
The USA is in bad condition and Europe won’t open borders to USA travelers because the virus is out of control here. It would cast the EU into bankruptcy for the number of Americans they would have to test.

I am voting by mail for the first time ever.
I received an e-mail from the county clerk stating it was no problem. Ballots are being mailed to me for the primary and the general. The only worry I have is what is Trump doing to undermine my mail-in vote. Most folks normally mail the ballot back without cost. I intend to mail my ballots by Priority Mail with a signature requirement.
I think the voters should be allowed to send them back by e-mail, too. There are tons of problems with a cyber link (ie: Russia) because it is untried, but, so long as it is signed and a picture of an ID accompanies the ballot, there is no reason to prevent that balloting. The e-mail between me and my county clerk is sound and quick. I would love to be able to take a picture of the ballot with each page signed and send it back by e-mail with a picture of my ID.
So, assuming Trump is UP TO SOMETHING with the US Postal Service, a cyber alternative should be offered.
I would like to see all package handling companies offer SAFE AND DEPENDABLE delivery for this year's ballots in primaries and the general. Maybe offer free or low cost to each and every mail-in ballot. It would be nice.
Think of it as a tax deduction and overcoming corruption to ensure the USA Democracy. Be a hero.

We’re 10 months away from the 2020 election. (click here) While the stakes are incredibly high and the electorate is more polarized than it has been in decades, Americans’ faith in the legitimacy of the outcome is low — and not without reason. There’s evidence that the forces that sought to influence the electorate in 2016 are at it again, and attempts to shore up the cyber defenses of local election systems have had uneven results.
Crucially, in a vacuum of trustworthy facts, questions about election integrity, fraud and security can be answered by dishonest players with a stake in the outcome. Local newsrooms, reeling from new rounds of belt-tightening and layoffs, are less able to sustain the effort necessary to cover a fast-moving, complex, technical and data-rich story by themselves.
That’s why we announced Monday that we’re running our Electionland project again, to bring together journalists around the country to report on voting barriers and electoral integrity....

This is all about Giuliani and his lawlessness. He demanded Trump to remove a Ukraine Ambassador.
This is all corruption because Trump's administration does not have control. They sought to control through the corruption of the USA's relationship with Ukraine. Guiliani is at the center of this lawless activity. Guiliani was also doing Russia's bidding. Guiliani wanted to make Ukraine weaker so both Trump and Russia had control and they could exploit that control to defeat Vice President Biden in the November elections.

When Manhattan U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman (click here) pushed back against Attorney General Bill Barr’s attempt to oust him late on Friday night, the standoff between a top prosecutor and the Trump administration had a startling sense of déjà vu.
Three years apart, two Manhattan U.S. attorneys refused requests from Washington to quietly step down from their posts in extraordinary flare-ups of rebellion. Both involved whispers of political interference with cases of interest to the president. Both resulted in the prosecutors being fired, and both men wound up replaced by their trusted deputies.
Berman’s crusading predecessor Preet Bharara had lived through this sequence of events in 2017.
Jaimie Nawaday, a former federal prosecutor who witnessed Bharara’s firing, remembers what happened vividly.
“I was in the office when Preet was fired, and that was a very demoralizing, disheartening moment,” Nawaday recalled in a phone interview on Sunday. “And [Berman’s ouster] seemed even worse because of the way it went down.”...

Pollution is a co-morbidity
Every environmentalist knows that is the case. Rachel Carson of "Silent Spring" died of breast cancer due to her exposure of pollution in our national parks and forests.
So, here we are in the year 2020 and there is a resurgence of pollution that kills, this time it is African Americans carrying the co-morbidity burden of pollution.
...Health care increasingly needs (click here) to address the management of individuals with multiple coexisting diseases, who are now the norm rather the exception. In the United States, about 80% of Medicare spending is devoted to patients with 4 or more chronic conditions, with costs increasing exponentially as the number of chronic conditions increases. This realization is responsible for a growing interest on the part of practitioners and researchers in the impact of comorbidity on a range of outcomes, such as mortality, health-related quality of life, functioning, and quality of health care....
This is a professional article about co-morbidities and the cost of such them. Co-morbidities are a negative spiral. The more chronic health conditions an individual has the more likely they will have others especially when the cause is within their living, working, and home environments. This is the problem the poor and working poor face all the time. Segregation adds to the danger because of the African American ability to move their lives out of their work and home environments are nearly impossible.
I know an African American couple that lives in a neighborhood where primarily the wealthy reside. She stated she would never move no matter how much she and her husband have to work due to the schools affiliated with this neighborhood and the cleaner air and water. The couple has children. These successful couples are too few and far between when it comes to Zip Codes with dangerous pollution.
This is also a very sad sorry by this couple, because, they may be displaced from their home towns. Robert Taylor in the reporting below have lived in the same hometown all his life, regardless of the cruelty of reality. The statistics bear out that African Americans are exposed to far more environmental danger than others.

In his rally, Trump stated the fittest children should be the country's soldiers. The USA is now interested in the "breed" of a person. What makes them fit for service where other Americans do not? The speech has been described as "child abuse" and a glorification of death.
In the event, broadcast live on state television, the young girl dressed as a soldier seems to catch the attention of Mr Erdogan, who then invites her to the stage....

The World Health Organization (click here) has reported its highest single-day rise in new cases, as global testing efforts are ramped up. In Germany, the R-rate has spiked 60% to 2.88. Follow DW for the latest....
The R-rate is also known as "R naught" and has yet to enter the dialogue of COVID-19 in the USA.
...Three possibilities (click here) exist for the potential transmission or decline of a disease, depending on its R0 value:

Trump put a false face on this from the beginning in hoping to hide this virus in the statistics of the flu and only focusing on the jet from China as the only known case of Americans. Trump's "strategy of denial" has failed.
If this was a sincere war, the US Congress would be asking for his resignation and begin hearings to the lack of an exit strategy to end the war. Instead of having rock-solid reasons to open the USA, Trump demands the testing to end because that is the only reason there is a growing number of cases reported as if all the new cases were benign and absent of symptoms.
Trump is wrong and the possibility of opening schools is nearly upon us. Children must be protected. Children do not have magical immunity to the virus.

“Based on the current knowledge, few children get infected with the Covid-19 virus”, Daniel Koch, former head of the infectious diseases unit at the Federal Office of Public Health said in April.
But there have been cases in Switzerland and elsewhere of children dying of Covid-19.

In a shocking admission (click here) during his Tulsa, Oklahoma, rally on Saturday night, President Donald Trump said he had told officials in his administration to slow down coronavirus testing because of the rising number of cases in America, and used a racist term to describe the coronavirus.
“You know testing is a double-edged sword,” Trump said while complaining about media coverage of his handling of the virus. He said that the US has now tested some 25 million people. “Here’s the bad part… when you do testing to that extent, you’re going to find more people; you’re going to find more cases. So I said to my people, slow the testing down please.”
At another point during the rally, he said Covid-19 has more names than any other disease: “I can name Kung Flu,” he said using the racist term, “I can name 19 different versions of them.”...
Racism and blaming the media when he should be blaming himself for the failure of his strategy. Everything he says is propaganda and endangers American quality of life and life itself. If that is not pathological, don't ask me what is?

Happy Father’s Day
An especially good one to Vice President Biden who bravely faces this day with loss as well as joy.

Attorney General Barr needs to go on a reformation weekend with his peers from all walks of life.
Attorney General Barr needs to be open to peer review which lacks in his decisions. That peer review may be a scolding from the Speaker of the House. Some of his priorities are based on an agenda rendered by politics and not the facts or good legal practice. It seems as though some of his focus is as if in a bubble and not an open understanding of the facts and best legal practices.
I think he is going to have the most difficult initiative trying to get the private sector of Wall Street to bring strong loyalty to the USA and stem the loose company policies with China. He states at one time the NATIONAL SECURITY of the country AND the security of their own companies in relation to the long view into the future was highly important. Barr believes that PRIORITY is gone in Wall Street companies, instead of security issues there exists a threat to the future of the USA, in exchange for profits. Why, difficult? A former USA Secretary of the Treasury has made huge investments in China. I don't believe for a minute there is ANY security along that nexus to protect Goldman-Sachs (click here) or the USA from Chinese exploitation. Barr should remember when a major investor in China is from the West there is always the threat of communists willing to shut it all down and imprison Americans for their lack of cooperation with the communist government in China and/or Russia for that matter.
If the Bolton book reveals so-called National Security issues it is because the national security council is incompetent which Barr never entertained before he took Bolton to court. The NSC asked Barr to take Bolton to court. That sounds like a direct order from Trump, but, realize the Bolton book has been in review by the NSC for a long time. It is easy to say the NSC was postponing the publication of the book until after the election which is pure unadulterated corruption. When the USA government entertains impacting freedom of speech for political interests it has gone into the depths of corruption itself.
The deaths of Black Americans were not really addressed because they were ongoing, but, he did say nearly 9 mins of a knee on the neck when the man was already restrained is wrong.
Barr brought up an idea that needs research and that is; how often are legal diversion programs (sentences other than jail or prison) offered to African American citizens? He believes there could be inequality within those programs and ethnic opportunities to seek them.
Barr was all too willing to criticize social media programs as "selective" in what they were removing as content, but, he is not willing to state how inflammatory FOX NEWS commentators can be in regard to falsehoods and other propaganda. He is prioritizing an agenda that is not clear to his focus.
I think anti-trust is tricky when dealing with freedom of speech and how governance will occur after anti-trust breaks up the social media companies. If social media companies are sliced up there is always a chance someone like Russia could purchase those entities. Here again is the question that plagues Barr, who is loyal to the USA and even their own companies when dealing with profit? I think the profits of social media can be stemmed and to some degree are stemmed by promoting benevolent causes and making financial donations though PROVEN TRUSTWORTHY non-profit organizations.
I think social media networks have to be regarded as no different than AI (artificial intelligence) and national security. There are enormous numbers of people and businesses using these networks (probably everyone except infants) and to believe if they were divided and made to change their current STABILITY and GOVERNANCE would be for the best, is false. I think it is far more complicated than that. I believe the operation of these networks falls to the FBI and finding terrorists and foreign agents seeking to adversely effect the USA democracy. I think social media networks can stay intact, BUT, comply with national security demands by the USA government through legislation. NO CORRUPTION PLEASE. The legislation has to PURPOSELY ignore special interests in writing that legislation which should contain regulation of AI. When are the American people going to be valued for the incredibly wonderful people they are?
A good source of the concern with national security is SpaceX's Musk. He has experience with his space technology and national security all the time. He has made public comments on AI and it is interesting.
On the other hand, are social media companies like Facebook that also have platforms in China. There is an argument these companies are COMPROMISED by the simple fact they have interests in China's economy. Facebook is also compromised by it's interest in China and the communist government. So, realize when seeking actions against social media these are international companies COMPROMISED by their foreign interests. China would love to own Facebook and all its other interests.
I think AG Barr needs to reflect on the Trump culture he is willing to support at the expense of our democracy. I think he is pandering to the president in many instances. He appears at times that Barr is more Trump's puppet rather than him clearly overseeing the venue that is traditionally that of the Attorney General.
Barr doesn't recognize the frailty of the human being in some ways. I believe the death of Mr. Brooks DEFINITELY defines the profound fear of African American men when having interactions with police. I believe Mr. Brooks was aware of his frailty and the proximity of death with the two officers. I strongly believe when the cop tried to place handcuffs on his wrists, the deep-seated fear took over and he fought for his life. I strongly believe Mr. Brooks was balancing his life against every interaction with the police. When Mr. Brooks wasn't explained that the breathalyzer test was not legally binding and he would have to go to the police station and/or a hospital ER for a legal analysis of his alcohol content they lost his loyalty to a final end to their interaction. The officer never stated Mr. Brooks would have to be handcuffed to travel to the police station as a matter of practice for safety to all parties. He never told him exactly what he was being arrested for and the entire interaction went off the rails because Brook's fear for his life took over.
I believe there is a huge cultural issue between police and African American men and women that tragically plays out in their deaths. Sandra Bland. It was the same exact dynamic as what occurred with Mr. Brooks. SAME THING. There is an "air of fear" within the African American culture that brings behaviors that ultimately interact with police standards, policies, and practices resulting in their deaths. I am tired of it and it seems no matter how much dialogue takes place there is no end to it. Barr can justify it by saying 8000 African American deaths (click here for 2005 statistics) occurs every year and those by police are a small number. AG Barr needs to apologize for that statement. The American people will NEVER forgive it because these deaths are heinous in that they are racist AND of unarmed Americans.
I might point out that "Black Lives Matter" is not an extremist group. These are also families of those that were killed at the power of the police. These could not be more ORDINARY Americans. They are not stone-cold crazy.
There are eons of difference between the current laws of the USA and a just Judicial System that recognizes the frailty of life and racial differences. The police have huge problems with these differences and cause the deaths of people because of them.
We have a long way to go and that is something Barr does not realize. Included in changes are the economic income and wealth inequalities. As the American people demand legislative measures to bring about a more equitable America, the deaths of unarmed African American people at the power of the police are off-limits. The African American community cannot be burdened by these deaths EVER AGAIN. Police MUST admit the person in front of them is unable to kill them and is probably full of fear for their life. This is directly a problem for the police and it has to be taken seriously. THERE WAS NO REASON FOR POLICE TO FEAR GEORGE FLOYD.

He never told him exactly what he was being arrested for and the entire interaction went off the rails because Brook's fear for his life took over.
I believe there is a huge cultural issue between police and African American men and women that tragically plays out in their deaths. Sandra Bland. It was the same exact dynamic as what occurred with Mr. Brooks. SAME THING. There is an "air of fear" within the African American culture that brings behaviors that ultimately interact with police standards, policies, and practices resulting in their deaths. I am tired of it and it seems no matter how much dialogue takes place there is no end to it. Barr can justify it by saying 8000 African American deaths (click here for 2005 statistics) occurs every year and those by police are a small number. AG Barr needs to apologize for that statement. The American people will NEVER forgive it because these deaths are heinous in that they are racist AND of unarmed Americans.
I might point out that "Black Lives Matter" is not an extremist group. These are also families of those that were killed at the power of the police. These could not be more ORDINARY Americans. They are not stone-cold crazy.
There are eons of difference between the current laws of the USA and a just Judicial System that recognizes the frailty of life and racial differences. The police have huge problems with these differences and cause the deaths of people because of them.
We have a long way to go and that is something Barr does not realize. Included in changes are the economic income and wealth inequalities. As the American people demand legislative measures to bring about a more equitable America, the deaths of unarmed African American people at the power of the police are off-limits. The African American community cannot be burdened by these deaths EVER AGAIN. Police MUST admit the person in front of them is unable to kill them and is probably full of fear for their life. This is directly a problem for the police and it has to be taken seriously. THERE WAS NO REASON FOR POLICE TO FEAR GEORGE FLOYD.

A federal judge on Saturday (click here) struck down the Trump administration's last-ditch effort to stop former national security adviser John Bolton from publishing his explosive book.
The Justice Department sued Bolton on Tuesday to block the release, alleging that Bolton breached his contract and that the book could compromise national security because it contains classified information.
"While Bolton's unilateral conduct raises grave national security concerns, the government has not established that an injunction is an appropriate remedy," US District Judge Royce Lamberth said in his ruling Saturday....
The country's police need to stop whining. It is racism.
There is so much propaganda that exists in the bloated egos of police in this country it is ridiculous. The African American communities are protesting to protect their rights and their lives, we should all be on board with it. Anyone that is complaining is a racist.
Officer #1 states, "I am 6 feet 2 inches and a strong man. It would be next to impossible to me down without tools like a taser."
No one is interested in taking away tasers. They are a good non-lethal tool for officers faced with a violent individual, rather than a gun. The issue with Rayshard Brooks is an overreach and poor police work. If other officers can't get on board to properly peer-review other officers that place danger in the path of justice, then they need to look for another job.
The issue with all the deaths of African American men is a "takedown" that took their lives. Officers across this country better get used to the idea that no one dies if they are unarmed at the time of their crime. Any officer that kills anyone when that person is not armed should not be in the force. The interface of the police and citizens MUST RESPECT the lives of all involved. We are talking about people that are unarmed but have broken the law in some way. THEY BETTER NOT DIE. The apprehension of an unarmed human being does not mean the interaction escalates to gunfire or any method of asphyxiation. Police that escalate circumstances facing a Father or Husband or young man needs to leave the force.
The deaths of these African American men are heinous. They should never have happened. Killing minorities in the line of duty when they are no danger to the public or police is racism.
STOP THE WHINING AND GO BACK TO WORK. This isn't about the officers that are whining about protesters unless they make it so.
My family is large and we have people in all walks of life and we have cops in our family and NOT ONE OF THEM HAVE KILLED ANYONE!
They have ranged in all forms of police work, local cops in white towns and local cops in minority neighborhoods, State Police, Detectives, and working in Medicare Fraud. All those jobs over their lifetimes are the scope I have in understanding police work. My family police officers are both men and women. They carry weapons and ride in cop cars. They have been involved with riots dating back in time to the early Detroit riots. They killed no one and are alive to tell the tale.
As a matter of fact, an uncle was befriended by men he put in jail and prison. There was once a safecracker named Leroy that called my uncle the day he was released from prison where he was for five years. He said, "You told me that when I get out you would help me find a job." My uncle did exactly that. Not only did he find Leroy a job, but he would OCCASIONALLY hear from Leroy if he was struggling. You could say they had a casual bother relationship. Leroy never met the family, it was about Leroy's functioning in the world. Leroy never went back to crime.
I could not believe my ears when someone stated President Obama was born in Kenya. Like, what? The person stated there was a woman by the name of Loretta Fuddy (click here). According to this brainwashed man, Ms. Fuddy was the only one that died in a plane because she released President Obama's birth certificate from Kenya. That story is so perverted and wrong it should be a crime. A conspiracy theory that places Ms. Fuddy at a place where she died because she told the truth about President Obama being born in Kenya. She died because of a cover up. That is completely demented and totally wrong.
Mr. Fuddy was Health Director in Hawaii, not Kenya. She lived and worked in Hawaii all her life and never had authority in Kenya to manufacture a birth certificate. Ms. Fuddy was the Health Director that APPROVED the release of President Obama's HAWAIIAN birth certificate. She had absolutely nothing to do with Kenya. She died in a plane crash with others in the "Hawaiian Flying Taxi" often used to ferry between islands. It is unfortunate, but, it was not a conspiracy against Ms. Fuddy. Those planes sometimes crash and unfortunately, she was on one the day something went wrong.
Mr. Fuddy was a professional with the Hawaiian Health Department with the authority to release President Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate. Enough of this mess.

Police Officer #2 is a woman. She was touting all her gratification in her work including birthing babies. Fine. I am very happy she finds her work rewarding. But, that doesn't give her the right to kill unarmed black men. It does not give her the right to complain about protesters demanding the end of the death of unarmed black men. He does give her the right to explore the issues at hand and come to conclusions to be aware of the RIGHT of an unarmed person to live through their apprehension and arrest.
There are statements by men officers about how they weren't going to enter the fray of a gunfight ensuing in their town. That is work for a SWAT team and not police officers. Officers facing these direly dangerous times need to call in SWAT to end the gun barrage. It is not the responsibility of officers that birth babies to also end gun wars for whatever reason they exist.
If cops want to express their politics it should be done on their own time and out of uniform. Very simple. Any discussion of politics is confrontational and should be eliminated in the work environment. Officers that care about politics need to begin a movement to end gun violence and protect police lives. There are far too many guns on the street and it needs to stop. Police lives are at danger because of the gun population in this country. Guns that have military capacity DO NOT belong on the streets of the USA.
The nine mm semi-automatic pistol was introduced to the police in 1995. Before that, they had their six-shooter and not much else. Look where we are today. The streets are more dangerous and police officers are all in danger because of it. The politics that placed military-style weapons on the streets of the USA need to be rolled back and police need to demand a safe workspace not provided in their work today.

The police are overreacting to JUSTICE being leveled at some officers for the death of African American citizens.
Crime happens in the USA for many reasons, but, it frequently revolves around the overvaluation of wealth without valuing each other through humanitarian values we all share in this country.
