The guilty verdict in the murder trial (click here) against ex-Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez caps off a
tumultuous year for the NFL. The league has been forced to defend itself
against off-the-field scandals — and a barrage of bad press.
While it was widely anticipated Hernandez would be found guilty Wednesday of first-degree murder,
his continuing legal saga is certain to leave a black mark on the
league in the months to come, said David Carter, executive director of
the Sports Business Institute at the University of Southern California....
If Mr. Hernandez actually believes he did not commit the murder than I strongly suggest he hire a private detective to find the weapon. Otherwise, live your conscience. I take it he didn't bother to stop the assault.
This decision is very important. It comes when the USA fights to reclaim their communities from thugs. Too many witnesses succumb to threats by gangs and otherwise.
