The Republicans need to stop belly aching and find solutions for healthcare in a country where magnificent citizens deserve it.

Thank you for including NATO in the defense bill. If nothing else is perfect in the defense spending bill, that is. Our allies are extremely important and I am proud of them and the support we bring to them.

Our development of our military over modern decades is an amazing achievement with the help of institutions like MIT and manufactures seeking perfection. Our allies need us and that is a good thing. Thank you.

One other aspect of healthcare is the importance of REGULATION in PROFITS. Healthcare is a part of the economic vitality of this country. I remind a CEO was stalked because of abuse of the privatized healthcare industry. Considering the volatility of privatized healthcare in the USA, I really don’t see government standing down in handling it. Good luck. A nation is looking on.

N for narcan

All over this great country we are defeating drug overdose. Sure it costs money, but , we save lives. 

There are all sorts of efforts to save lives in the USA. People around the world recognize the greatness of this country in the love of life our people carry out for each other. Complete strangers act to save lives and return people to mental health. 

The war on drugs is conducted at our borders, in our cities, in free mental health clinics, in our newspapers, and in our classrooms.

Our police and courts level power at criminals and it works. These dispensers of narcan come in many forms including Main Street businesses displaying a simple letter N in their window. The merchant has a supply. Imagine that. A shoe store, boutique, barber shop, and movie theaters all displaying a simple letter N in their window because there is narcan nose spray inside to save lives. That is incredible.

That is America. Those are the people of America. There is no stigma attached to any business, or people. Just a simple way forward for poisoned addicts. That act of compassion for another human being is sometimes the first time an addict receives caring. 

We are a great people. We don’t value killing of any kind. We value life and the quality of that life. 

Assassination

Currently Maduro has control of the Venezuelan military. He instills fear into people because it is a brutal regime. Venezuelans seek asylum from him in the USA. They are refugees. 

Maduro can be stated as the de facto leader of Venezuela. The military ensures his place right now. 

It could be said there are two presidents in Venezuela. One cannot ignore who exactly holds power and won’t relinquish it to a freely elected person. 

In that is the reality of USA law that states there will be no assassinations of anyone leading a country. Trump is openly threatening Maduro’s life. He states Maduro’s days are numbered. That translates into a death threat. It is illegal. Trump is breaking the law.

The USA Congress has not declared war on Venezuela. The USA Congress cannot order the assassination of anyone. When Saddam was captured it was on Iraqi soil, he stood trail in Iraq, and it was there he was sentenced.

Trump’s open threats are more of the same killing we are witnessing with the extrajudicial deaths of more than 80 people on speed boats SUPPOSEDLY carrying drugs the USA has as controlled substances.

Supposedly these dead people are on a list of some kind. That list is probably a sanction list and/or a no fly list. There is no way they are on an official list for assassination. The USA has “The Ten Most Wanted,” etc. That list of very dangerous people is not about assassination. It is about capture and justice.

So all this killing is way outside standard USA law. Unless there was a declaration of war and the people on the boats initiated confrontations they should still be alive. As a demonstration of that, the USA Coast Guard just carried out a record setting drug bust at sea.

I on? The Rule of Law and humanity. There are no bad guys to assassinate. There are criminals to catch. 

The issues in the Caribbean Sea are out of control.

Why the military is even taking orders from these bastards is nothing I can understand or imagine. This is not the way the USA does things. From what can tell these actions are based in hate, with an Admiral requiring lawyers to understand the orders he is receiving. It is all bullshit.

Seahorse and The Skipper

The proceedings at the Supreme Court are astonishingly.

I have to dig a little further, but, what Trump is attempting is to find case law and build in it to eliminate the needs for the federal legislature and judiciary. Basically, Yrump is hoping the Supreme Court wants him as king and will make it so. What Trump is attempting is completely unconstitutional from where I sit and it furthers the treason he has begun. It is stunning. 

$10 billion giveaway

Who receives Trump’s $10 billion crop insurance giveaways, corporate America?

What is being done with the crops? USAID?

Commodity prices will be adversely affected for years to come if the actual crops remain in storage than used.

The actual crops still exist. It isn’t as though the government is buying crops once purchased by China. Trump is giving money away to compensate his use of tariffs. That is a one year relief for crops currently in storage. Those crops will still be in storage effecting commodity prices going forward. 

With an excess of grain going forward the loss of farmer revenue will continue until American grain is consumed. The actual crops should be donated to needy people in the world so commodity prices return to normal today and in the future. 

The Big Lie

 Trump insists on changing history and make The Big Lie a fact. Trump did not win the 2020 elections. Trump insisting he did is becoming an issue.

The provision by Stefanick attached to the NDAA is in recognition of Trump’s Big Lie being the truth. It is a lot of mischief, but, like the pipe bomber, The Big Lie is a problem. The continued propaganda by Trump of the 2020 election is creating reasons to compromise laws that work.

FBI investigations work. In the case of conducting an investigation there is a FISA Court. Transparency would compromise the FISA Court. What would result is a cover-up of the facts.

The FBI investigations of Trump and Russia was a valid investigation. The fact it was interrupted by the DOJ clearly illustrates how the country is definitely compromised in addition indicting the bad guys. If the Trump-Russia investigation was concluded rather than bing swept under the rug, Trump would not be president today.

NDAA

There is a provision about the FBI that needs to be pulled from the NDAA. 

I would expect a fair amount of corruption with the Republican Congress, like the million dollar payout for no reason. The Republicans have included a provision in the NDAA they are calling transparency, but, it is actually interference with Homeland Security.

The USA military members vote, but, do not interfere with elections. In the 2026 NDAA there is censorship of the FBI. The provision states when the FBI opens an investigation into a candidate running for office it is required to notify the Senate, House, and Judiciary. I find this intrusive and will taint the operations of the FBI. There is no capacity with the military for the FBI. The military has its own investigation force. Therefore, the provision by Stefanick doesn’t belong in the NDAA. 

No one should be interfering with an FBI investigation anyway. The information is confidential. Such interference from Congress of an investigation of a candidate for office would compromise the investigation. It is a very strange provision that interferes and compromises the rule of law and due process.

Donald Trump is a scared man. According to Pam Bondi Trump gave his administration an order to make Washington, DC safe enough for a child to walk safely from one boundary to the other.

That is not a realistic order. But, in acting according to Trump’s wishes Patel set out to make the boss happy. What could be better than to stick a finger into previous administrations’ eye and find the attempted terrorist that would seek to blow up party headquarters with a pipe bomb. 

Patel found the evidence in the case fill that has been ongoing and solved it. He took the existing evidence to the next level. He done good.

The man who believes the conspiracy theories back then, still does today. He believes in Trump. But, what he portrays is very worrisome. A man able to believe “The Big Lie” and willing to act violently because of it.

This is where Trump’s politics blurs reality and he thinks it’s just fine because it serves his purpose.

According to many on the Supreme Court an extreme amount of cases they hear are politics. The truth doesn’t matter in those cases because politics can be based in lies. The final goal in politics is to accumulate power even with highly unethical practices like gerrymandering. So, the fact that “The Big Lie” exists is just great politics. 

According to Trump life is a game where the wealthiest thrive while everyone else just didn’t live right. Oops, to bad.

So, while Kash Patel is going about life making DC safe for Trump he also proved how “The Big Lie” actually existed in the hearts and minds of people like Brian Cole, Jr. The Big Lie was so big it drove fear through Brian and he did what any honorable American would do; act against the perpetrators.

Setting up pipe bombs is simply illegal and wrong. For that Brian Coke will be going to prison.

Brian’s actions were based in a lie and now he is facing prison. He believed a lie and he is paying for it. 

I don’t know how life got twisted around like that for Brian, but, I think it is pretty lousy.

Why is Putin expecting Trump to deliver?

Because the alternative is unthinkable.

Putin won’t surrender.

The ideology is more important than any Russian speaking people. This is Putin’s destiny. 

To Trump, Putin is in the club of the powerful that know what is best for the world. Vladimir is just a good ole boy. Vladimir does not consider himself a good ole boy. He expects Trump and his minions to take orders and deliver. 

“I like to win.” It is far easier for the USA military to take on drug cartels with half subs than face the fact the USA’s real enemy have real subs.

Vladimir Putin is waiting. Putin is willing to entertain Trump and his minions because he anticipates Trump delivering. The talks aren’t about peace, it is about surrender and Putin thinks he is playing his part.

The Caribbean is Trump’s change in focus for the USA military. It has nothing to do with national security and allies. It is about abandonment. Trump wants to abandon all that makes the USA great to dominate the Western Hemisphere. Not a country, not a continent, a hemisphere. It can’t be done. He can’t buy Argentina. It is impossible to do what Trump is seeking to do. It is delusional.

If Trump is able to move the focus of the USA military to the Western Hemisphere then he can abandon the East to the communists, including Europe. Donald John Trump is unable to live up to the real mission of the USA, so he abandons it.

Intelligence is not law. Drug runners headed to Suriname is not a threat to USA. I believe the Admiral was carrying out some kind of order, but, unless Suriname asked for assistance in alliance with USA there was no reason at all to destroy the boat or kill people on it.

The Admiral is not a stupid man, where is the permission to carry out this TASK of an enormous Navy presence come from? Believing there is danger to the USA is not a legal capacity to define this mission. Intelligence is just that. It is a good lead, but, any activity by the military has to be based in fact as well. If we are to believe there were two boats then the mission included both vessels and the cargo, not simply an estimation.

Someone is really screwing up. Who is it? 

Americans don’t deploy a full aircraft carrier strike group to stop speed boats. That is over kill. It is no different than deploying the National Guard or military to carry out arrests and policing. It is not proper use of those assets. It creates danger otherwise not present.

In urban warfare, Former President Obama made the kill order. No one else. The intelligence was given to him and the order issued by him personally was carried out. When Osama bin Laden meet the USA military and his capture and death, Firmer President Obama was in the Situation Room observing every detail on camera and when a helicopter failed to carry our troops and the evidence of their mission. One helicopter would have to do, but, if the mission required different assets Obama was present to see it through. This mess in the Caribbean is completely inappropriate. Very messy.

The great Late Secretary of State Colin Powell was right. He is the best model for American soldiers facing danger, combat, or death.

Zealots die in combat because their heads aren’t screwed on straight. They justify their actions by divine purpose waiting and acting on emotional spirituality. That is bullshit!

Trump and his minions are turning the USA military into basket cases.

Righteousness as a motivation for killing is called a CONVICTION punishable by at least 25 years behind bars.

Righteous is not a legitimate defense for any military engagement. Defense, be it for the country or self is the ONLY motivation for military killing or homicide.

More incompetence from the Trump administration.

This is ideology. There is absolutely no factual reason to make these changes in vaccines.  I am convinced over my lifetime vaccines have saved my life.

The currently still valid and underfunded Affordable Care Act requires PREVENTIVE CARE of all Americans. Vaccines are preventive health care. I have received my preventative care this year including vaccines.

Considering vaccines are preventative care, these recommendations are unconstitutional. This is not a First Amendmebt issue. It is more the constitutional right to one’s own body and wellness. It is part of the right to happiness. Wellness definitely impacts happiness and quality of life.

Every American has a right to thrive without government oppression of any kind. 

Why does this administration attack children and their viability? Natural immunity is cheaper but very dangerous.

I suppose if thin ice is all one has in defense of actions taken when homicide is the result, it is enough. 

A few thoughts. There is no war declared. Carrying out drug runner interventions in the Caribbean Sea is very messy, especially when there are far better alternatives that do not require an aircraft carrier battle group in waters considered to be mostly friendly and allied.

I find this entire scenario outrageous, expensive, and very much out of line with the mission of the USA military.

This has to be one of the most irresponsible uses of an aircraft carrier in Navy history. Congress needs to assert itself in limiting the use of the USA military with drug trafficking from anywhere in the world.

This is not a war. Not by a long shot. I sincerely believe this is murder and while the people on the boats may be criminal in their intent they never had a trial or proof of their purpose. I believe due to sincere lack of proof of the crime in these interdictions the families of these men have legal recourse.

Trump and Hegseth are among the worst leadership this country has ever had and this is more proof of it. Hegseth is not qualified to speak to admirals and generals by the sheer fact he is abusing power granted to him by the title alone as Secretary of Defense. He is even operating under an alias of Secretary of War.

Trump and Hegseth have no respect for the power easily at their disposal and they have absolutely no respect for Congress. They are both operating outside their defined office as if dictatorial powers actually exist. 

I have to laugh at the politicians in Venezuela. Maduro could never defeat the USA military and the rightful and freely elected president believes Trump is a liberator. She has no real idea of the workcraft of Trump. He is not a liberator. Trump is a racketeer. Even if it were possible to bloodlessly remove Maduro, the price to the new president with the USA military occupying Venezuela; she has no reassurance of power, except as a figurehead.

The United States Rule of Law calls the military the Department of Defense for real reasons. It is not a liberation force. It is a defense force and always has been. The USA military is highly lethal. No country in this world wants this country’s military within their borders. 

With all that said, Hegseth is way out of line in his time as Defense Secretary. Congress needs to be acting to contain the misguided ideology of this Defense Secretary. The Caribbean Sea has a role in providing sun filled warmth to vacationing Americans and NATO is in a far more precarious situation than it has been since WWII.
