So, as to the Holy Land and the UK. 

As much as everyone wants to say the Europeans were defeated in The Crusades, that is not exactly correct. There were several Crusades and not all of them failed. The entire region where today's conflict occurs is one of the places the British Empire came to own. As a matter of fact Kuwait exists because the British Empire wanted to control the goods, including oil, coming out of Iraq. To some extent the sovereign borders of the lands affiliated with the Arabian Peninsula have nothing to do with The Holy Land so much as the power of the British Empire at the time of The Holy Crusades.

Why is that important? Because even today the United Kingdom sheds some of its land to create or allow a new sovereign right to lands that may or may not be affiliated with the United Kingdom. That is the case to a greater extent when the "Mandate for Palestine" as written by "The League of Nations" later to become "The United Nations."

While there is every justification for the country of Israel, there exists a clear understanding there are at the very least "the people of Palestine."

One of the reasons the British Empire existed was to carry out the Rule of Law within the lands it owned. Without an abiding law structure people are left to be tribal with chronic ideas about who and why that tribe has a right to be "ON THE LAND." What is somewhat interesting about the "past lives of land" is realizing how much herding of animals and migration through lands to feed those animals actually dominate the lands people occupy. That is an important understanding as well because while tribes migrated for survival, that scenario today may not hold up as a legitimate claim to the land. Migration of herds for survival is very, very different than living on the land in an agrarian lifestyle that is more stable. Migration of herds for survival is more or less a romantic character of history. The practical use of the land, IF THERE IS NO MORE MIGRATING HERDS, changes with invention and better quality of life.

Okay.

So we come to the "Mandate for Palestine." This mandate existed after WWI to administer the lands and people. The British Empire would come to control these lands through enforcement of law. This practice by the world governing bodies is not unusual, right? There was the splitting of land into four countries in Southeast Asia following WWII. Laos, Cambodia, North Vietnam and South Vietnam were all governed by different European countries to BE SURE there would be no return to war. So, The Mandate for Palestine was one of these documents following WWI.

What I want to have ring clear is that the world governing bodies lean heavily into law and order. The world governing bodies want the land to be used appropriately and the people be secure without governance by dictators or autocrats that cause problems for the people and the global population in general. In other words, from time beginning the world has almost a genetic need to law and order and PEACE.

While the Mandate for Palestine sounds very one-sided and a clear determination that the Palestinians have the upper hand, that is not correct. At the very same time the Mandate for Palestine was carved out, there was a parallel document entitled "The Balfour Declaration." This link will connect with the text of "The Balfour Declaration (click here)." This particular link is housed within the "Jewish Virtual Library." Why? Because the Balfour Declaration created Israel at the very same time the Mandate for Palestine was drawn up.

This is all very British. The is how the British COMMONWEALTH governs. This same pattern was seen with the North American British Colonies that will eventually become The United States of America. The Brits send some of their best and loyal people to be Governors, etc., for the sole purpose of bringing law and order to the people and the land. 

The clear understanding here is LAW AND ORDER. Since the early 20th century the idea of law and order has been an overriding theme of the Holy Land. Now, why would that be?

Law and order creates SAFETY for people, the society they build, the commerce they enjoy, and THE DOMESTIC PEACE demanded for a high quality of life. If nothing else in the world that can be appreciated about the British Empire is that they carried with them incredible and complicated values and managed to tame tribal lands into modern scenarios of peaceful commerce.

I am not interested in the discussion of commerce and/or capitalism as those are different topics. What is important here is the vital understanding that people are supposed to get along in a society, care about the well being of all the people that live on the land, and included in that is commerce that provides for the common good.

It is very easy to say the turning point in establishing Israel as the Hebrew homeland was directly connected to the Holocaust and why Holocaust Deniers have propaganda to defeat the idea there was a Holocaust and the Jewish people were the victims. Anyone that understands the Holocaust knows there were other ethnic groups and prisoners of war in the practices of the Third Reich, but, most if not all the other ethnicities have sovereign countries to call home; the Jewish people did not. I also will say creating Israel was the best idea anyone every had. 

The first occupation of the lands that would become Palestine and Israel is of course "The Crusades (click here)." At the time of The Crusades war and conquest was a sport of the ruling classes. It was a way of life and a source of wealth to the monarchies. The Crusades were unique in that it was more than wealth the British Monarchy was looking for, but, control over the Holy Lands.

The Crusades (click here) were a series of religious wars, sanctioned by the Catholic Church, to take control of the Holy Land of Jerusalem (modern-day Israel) from the ruling Muslim Caliphate during the Middle Ages. With the First Crusade beginning in 1095, the call went out from the Vatican for Christian nations to send soldiers to fight. Britain’s contribution to the Crusades varied over the centuries from being only incidentally involved to being a major power in Jerusalem. We will examine the involvement of British nations in the various Crusades and the effects they had on the United Kingdom....

Why go all the way back to Medieval times? Because of the uniqueness of THIS LAND. The understanding these lands are special and coveted for religious understandings demonstrates a few things, but, primarily because of the birth of "Jesus Christ" and the long term value that event carried permanently to these lands. No one came along valuing these lands for their holy content from a Jim Jones Church idea. These lands have been valued as "The Holy Land" for millennium. The British Empire did not give the land it's value, it wanted to possess these lands. The religious value of these lands superseded any monetary value of them.

Also to note, there have been chronic values of these lands across all Abrahamic faiths.

I DO NOT SEE THE RELIGIOUS VALUE OF THESE LANDS CHANGING EVER!

It is vital to any conflict over land to understand the history and the value that history carries. In every Pacific island and atoll in dispute today there is a history. Some of the histories may have been rewritten for political outcomes and that should be detectable. But, in the case of the Pacific islands in dispute, the history especially where tampered with becomes a disabling event and needs to be regarded as toxic if it means a poor outcome to the land and the people that live on it. If the islands are manmade as with Dubai's sporting artificial islands, the history may or may not favor the creation of the island. Today, we know China seeks power by establishing artificial islands.

Manila/Beijing  - The Philippines (click here) said on Monday that it would keep a closer guard on reefs, shoals and islets in its exclusive economic zone in the South China Sea, as China denied accusations of trying to build an artificial island in the disputed waters.

The Philippine Coast Guard said on Saturday it had deployed a ship to Sabina Shoal on the Spratly archipelago, where it accused China of building an artificial island, having documented what it said were piles of dead and crushed coral on the sandbars.

Jonathan Malaya, spokesperson of the National Security Council (NSC), said NSC chief Eduardo Ano had ordered a tighter guard at locations within Manila’s 200-nautical mile economic zone, as a long-standing diplomatic row with Beijing intensifies.

“No one will guard (these locations) except us. It is our responsibility under international law to guard (them) and ensure that the environment there would not be damaged and that there won’t be reclamation activities,” Malaya told a regular television program.

China claims almost all of the South China Sea, including parts claimed by the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam, and has carried out extensive land reclamation on some islands, building military facilities, causing concern in Washington and the region....

These artificial islands built by China does not afford China a greater sovereign presence no matter what Beijing argues. They are artificial works with intention to impinge power over other sovereign countries. The artificial islands are meaningless and quite frankly an annoyance. The ONLY reason China gets away with it is because it has become a "Bully State."

With that nothing in the Middle East is artificial. Those lands are coveted through biblical proportions and every claim to them important to understand. The people living on Holy Lands and carrying out pilgrimages within The Holy Land have every right to be on those lands. The history of people and the Holy Land is incredibly documented. The Abrahamic test across those religions is highly accurate.

The Nobel Peace Prize outcome.

Good afternoon. I took care of my personal life which I love more each day. I want to write about the Middle East and especially the chronic tensions between Israel and Palestine.

But, first I want to share something with you because I think it is important. I try tp prepare myself to write on this blog. Sharing a piece of me is important in this venue. I am sincere in every aspect of my writing. 

Sometimes to prepare for writing I participate in a distraction. One of the distractions I participate in is watching a "You Tube" channel called, "The Clever Cowgirl." She is amazing. She doesn't "break a horse into ride," she gentles them. She is happily married and has a great deal of freedom in that relationship. 

But, the video I watched on her channel today was about a small pony named "Nigel." No she is not British, she lives and works in Montana. She is an American girl. I do consider her You Tube videos and her care of the horses work. Absolutely. She loves the work and boy does it show.

She has several older horses. Horses are magnificent creatures. They think in "herd behaviors" and there is a pecking order among the herd. What impressed me in a different video than this is that she does ride the horses that are capable of being ridden. Horses can be happy being ridden. The one demonstration of that was when she decided to ride "Frisco Bill." He is an older horse she has owned him most of his life. He enjoys the attention she gives him and he absolutely loves being ridden. So, there is no inhumane anything going on in her videos. I mean none.

So this video posted here is what I watched today. The Cowgirl does DNA tests on these horses, and get this, to better understand some of their thinking and behaviors. She is amazing. I like her approach to gentling a riding horse very much. 

But, as to Nigel. He has three breeds found in his DNA. His strongest genes appear to be from the POA (Pony of America). It gives him a super color pattern. He is a stallion and was when she purchased him. He is an aged stallion. She won't geld him because he has been a stallion all his life and needs that physiology to carry him through the rest of his life. If The Cowgirl hadn't come into these horses lives they probably would be dead by now. She intends to take care and pamper Nigel until his end. 

Gentling a riding horse costs more in time and money than simply breaking a horse to ride and wanting a profit margin. The Cowgirl keeps detailed records on all her horses and what it costs to take care of each one of them. They all have a personalized care pattern and plan she measures and creates herself. She has an extensive understanding of horse physiology and no she is not a veterinarian. She does have credentials in the way of experience in life in the horse industry.

This scenario with Nigel is to clip his winter coat so he is not distressed. It is an amusing video all the way to the very end. And smart. This little pony is very smart. She has a great deal of patience and is smarter.

The Nobel Peace Prize..

…is possible for President Biden if he takes the Palestinian Authority under his wing with a clear understanding of the truths that lie with the dynamics of the Palestinians and Israeli people.

I will write about this tomorrow afternoon. There just aren't enough hours in a day. Besides trying to find a way to express what needs to be done, there are personal priorities that do have some precedent.

The peace process between Israel and Palestine is very possible but the truths that exist have to be recognized and a peaceful understanding of the best outcomes agreed to without reservation.

To begin I think the documents of the past had their day, but, need to be examined for the relevance to today. The land that Israel and Palestine call their own once belongs to the United Kingdom. From the The Partition of Palestine to Resolution 181 to the Onslow Accords and the multiple peace treaties along the way to our modern day problems must be viewed as an attempt at satisfying these people with homelands, but, were miserable failures.

I believe the Palestinian people are ready to identify terrorism within their government and remove the threat. They must recognize Israel as a sovereign authority as well as the PA their governing authority. But, I first have to discuss the truths that exist that can no longer be allowed to exist.

Washington — House Speaker Mike Johnson (click here) joined Donald Trump at a Manhattan courthouse on Tuesday to express support for the former president amid his criminal trial, which the speaker called a "sham" and part of a broader "partisan witch hunt" against Trump.

Well that is it, isn't it? The entire campaign of the MAGApupblicans is about delegitimizing every aspect of American democracy to say the entire world is against them and their people. Life is just so unfair for all the MAGApublicans. So, now the legitimate practice of the Rule of Law in the courthouse where evidence is being presented is unfair and illegitimate. Johnson should be ashamed of himself. He doesn't belong there.

Everyone of the witnesses in this trial are under oaths to tell the truth. No one knows better than Michael Cohen what trivializing the USA Constitution and it's Rule of Law will bring, including prison.

Every one of the witnesses appearing before Judge Merchan are brave. It is unfortunate that bravery for a witness is necessary, but, it is and it is because Trump has no respect for human life.

There is one juror that belongs to the MAGApublicans. It is that one juror Trump is counting on and Johnson's appearance hoped to influence.

"President Trump is innocent of these charges," Johnson said, speaking outside the courthouse as proceedings got underway inside.

The Louisiana Republican was the latest in a number of GOP members of Congress who have shown their support for the former president at his New York trial in recent days. He said he came on his own accord to support Trump, whom he called a friend. Several other lawmakers also attended.

The speaker has emphasized his closeness to Trump in recent weeks as he faced a challenge to his speakership from a handful of conservatives within his conference. And the former president came to his aid when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene brought up a snap vote to oust Johnson, offering his support for the speaker in a social media post.

Johnson claimed on Tuesday that the trial is meant to "keep him [Trump] off the campaign trial." He said that as a former litigator, he's "disgusted" by what is happening to Trump....

If there are any West Virginia Republicans that want to vote for someone other than a MAGApublican, they have to write it in.

Sorry, but, Putin has his own plans. To know that simply look at the rise of conservative candidates in Europe. I actually have less problem with that then some would think. Europe is usually very liberal.

President Emmanuel Macron (click here) broke the liberal hold on France. Really? President Macron's conservative values have resulted in a stronger ally to the USA. He is standing up to Russia about the violence rained on Ukraine. Because Macron is so strong a leader, Putin has been playing nuclear missile drills. We run those drills, too, but, Putin performed them as a threat to Macron. I don't believe the conservative leanings in Europe is a threat so much as a strengthening of allies if it reflects the tone President Macron brought to his leadership.

President Biden's economics are not popular with billionaires, but, just listen to this.

When the DNC does it's internal research polling Jeb Bush should be added to that polling. He is campaigning. No one can deny it.


...He told me (click here) that more people are moving to Florida than any other state in the country because "we don't try to micromanage people's lives" and that the government "works pretty good," especially when it comes to education, regulation, and infrastructure. We discussed what he really thinks of Gov. Ron DeSantis, former President Donald Trump, current President Joe Biden, and whether the "Florida Man" meme captures something essential about the state's residents. "It's probably not fair, but who cares?" he says. "It's funny. We should embrace it. We're striving to have a disproportionate number of candidates for the Darwin Award each year. We should be very proud of it."...

I think Joe Biden is having a difficult time getting his message out because Trump is on display everyday. I also believe the recent polling doesn't represent Democrats and Independents very well. These folks are working and making good money now that the unions have their footing back. So, while the polls aren't different today than six months ago, I have to question if those working people are actually getting the information they need.



What is really going on? A lot. Israel has internal crisis.

The employment of thousands of foreign construction (click here) and renovation workers has been approved to fill the void left by Palestinian workers. The Population Authority has permitted contractors to hire workers from different countries in response to the ongoing war and the ban on Palestinian workers entering Israel since October 7. This ban has halted construction and renovation work in the country.

In the upcoming allocation of foreign workers, 4,000 people will be assigned to the renovation industry and small contractors. Additionally, an Israeli workers' bank will be established to assist local workers and support the renovation contractors during this challenging period. This initiative has been welcomed by Eran Siev, Chairman of the Association of Renovation Contractors, who acknowledged the need for government support in the midst of the crisis.

Committee Chairman MK Eliyahu Rabivo (Likud) explained the decision, stating that "due to the security concerns and the citizens' long-term worries, it was necessary to replace Palestinian workers with foreign workers. The renovation contractors play a crucial role in Israel's construction market, and we must support them during these uncertain times. The past is behind us, and we must adapt to the new circumstances."...

Yes, the picture is very dated, but, the reporting is not.

An anonymous survey (click here) by the Renovation Contractors Association among 180 contractors indicates that 20% rehired their former Palestinian workers to work after Passover.

Presently, Israel bars Palestinian entry but continues to renew their work permits. Consequently, workers possess valid permits but are prohibited from employment due to the absence of entry permits for workers from the territories in the renovations sector.

Eran Siev, Chair of the Renovation Contractors Association, states, "Israel already permits 28,000 Palestinians to work legally: 8,000 in Judea and Samaria, 10,000 in essential factories, and 8,000 in isolated industrial areas."...

After more than six months (click here) of deepening crisis in Israel's construction and infrastructure sector, Raul Srugo, President of the Bonei Haaretz (Builders of the Land) Contractors Association, representing contractors and entrepreneurs across the industry, penned a scathing letter to the prime minister and finance minister, accusing the government of driving the industry to the brink of collapse.

"This industry is at its worst state ever, among other things due to government decisions that only deepened the crisis," Srugo contends. According to association data, decisions led by the government to halt the entry of Palestinian workers since October 7 and attempts to replace them with foreign workers who have not arrived are expected to cause a 6-8 month delay in projects nationwide.

In the letter, Srugo warns Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich that without an immediate plan to bring in 50,000 foreign workers, permit the return of some Palestinian workers, compensate affected contractors and facilitate imports, the consequences will include contractor collapse, apartment price hikes, Israeli worker layoffs, hindered reconstruction efforts, and substantial revenue loss to state coffers from tax under-collection and reduced land sales....

Militarily there are now smaller groups of terrorists in Gaza attacking the IDF. The IDF has been targeting leadership so what is left are smaller groups of terrorists who have banned together to attack the IDF in Gaza without a central authority. The rockets falling on northern Israel are Hezbollah across the Lebanon border. Hezbollah has centralized authority.

This video is one of the attacks by small terrorist groups in Gaza. While watching this video one might ask why do all the buildings come down? I do not believe this video in that there was a sophisticated drone that dropped the shell that killed four IDF soldiers. I believe the drone found the tank, but, that shell is dropped from a tall building by hand. 

As an observer it is not simple to understand the strategies of generals. But, the IDF from the beginning of the war had one clear prerogative and that was to destroy any infrastructure that supported Hamas' aggression. Hamas used the infrastructure meant for Palestinians to live in peace, and turned them into battle stations.

We didn't really see this sort of strategy in Iraq. There was corruption within the power structures depending on the location and it was appropriately dealt with. But, it never took on the observable identity of using the civilian population as human shields. That danger was normalized in Gaza by Hamas.

The death toll in Gaza is uncertain.

While every death is war is tragic, the accounting of deaths in Gaza is uncertain. To revise the number of women and children deaths by half is a significant number in error.

The people of Palestine were hostages to Hamas. Their lives were always precarious under Hamas leadership. The answer as to why such dangerous conditions were allowed under international law must be answered. 




Hanas will only return danger to Gaza.

One would think the world would be praising Israel for fighting against Iran’s terrorist networks, yet a wrong headed movement of so called Pro-Palestinian Movement is completely unrealistic in its views. Israel has a right to defend itself and unfortunately Iran chose Gaza as it’s war theater.

Israel is in defense, not aggression.

Gaza is a war zone for terrorists.

There is no safe place in Gaza. The conflict is continuing to escalate with the latest escalation occurring in northern Gaza by Hezbollah. This is Iran’s war against Israel. Iran needs to call a ceasefire. 

The idea the Palestinian people would be happy and safe if Israel would retreat is nonsense. Israel is still fighting the same aggression expressed by Iranian terrorist groups on October 7th.

Hamas can no longer access supplies through Rafah, so the northern region escalated with Hezbollah now sending missiles from Lebanon.

The Pro-Palestinian global movement has no answers. They will not denounce the terrorists attacking Israel because they actually support them. If no one denounces the terrorists and pretends they are not there, in turn that is support for them. I do not support the anti-Israel messaging that calls itself Pro-Palestine. 

Israel has been successful in preventing further attacks on its civilians.

The Pro-Palestinian movement globally…

…wants to see to the well being of the Palestinian people. I think I have that much right. Why then, is Hamas ignored and tolerated by these same protesters? Do the protesters even know whom among the Palestinians hate Israel? Do they care whom among the Palestinians hate Israel? Why are the protesters globally not demanding the expulsion of Hamas in recognizing the danger this terrorist group brings to the Palestinian people? Because if Hamas surrendered this conflict would be over, yet there are no protesters demanding Hamas to surrender and leave Gaza.

Flying under the radar.

(Click here) Jeb Bush has been campaigning in strongly Republican territory where “normal” conservative values still matter. He has been campaigning for months now.

I am not convinced Trump will be nominated as the Republican candidate for president. I think as a figure head he brings in money. It also seems as though corporate America is currently sitting this election out. Corporate America believes they exist with or without democracy.

Charlie Spies has had enough of right wing extremism in the RNC. I do not think the race for 2024 is set.

Joe Biden has a troubling run for 2024 because he actually represents democratic values while Trump is willing to sell the country to anyone that will vote for him. Trump as president will result in a man full of self-satisfaction and needs. No one really knows what that looks like. VOTING for UNCERTAINTY is a bad idea. 

Trump voters will be disappointed when their votes turn into hostile outcomes for the country. This would be Trump’s second term and he will make sure it extends into forever at any cost.

The inability to find a lasting peace has been marred over and over again by violence for decades (click here). These are all Iranian linked terrorist groups. A negotiated peace has proven impossible because Iran has to agree to the peace agreement as well.

The terrorist attack on the USA occurred September of 2001. Following that attack by al Queda the attacks within Israel were relentless into 2002. The leader then and now was Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Stormy Daniels was raped.

Rape: unlawful sexual activity and usually sexual intercourse carried out forcibly or under threat of injury against a person's will or with a person who is beneath a certain age or incapable of valid consent because of mental illness, mental deficiency, intoxication, unconsciousness, or deception

Ms.Daniels or Clifford stated she had no desire to have intercourse with Donald John Trump. She went on to describe the encounter and basically she was man handled by Trump, thrown down on the bed and forcibly raped. Why is that not important? 

Except for this discussion of the facts, I have yet to hear real outrage over the fact Stormy Daniels was raped by Donald John Trump. It is a fact he raped other women. It is looking more and more as if he is a serial rapist with the difference being his wealthy and celebrity portrays him as a decent man. There isn't anything decent about him or his obsession with women.

This isn't about politics, it is about the Rule of Law and how it never seems to stick to Trump.

...She left to use the bathroom and was startled to find Trump in his underwear when she returned, she said. She didn’t feel physically or verbally threatened but realized that he was “bigger and blocking the way,” she testified.

“The next thing I know was: I was on the bed,” and they were having sex, Daniels recalled. The encounter was brief but left her “shaking,” she said. “I just wanted to leave,” she testified....

There is no other way to describe that encounter except rape.

Quite some time ago a news outlet was in a public square in Gaza where people had gathered to listen to the words of hate toward Israel by a Hamas leader. The filming was to understand the governance of Hamas. What transpired was a surprise to those that watched the video.

That hate was not isolated so much as an important part of Iran’s plan for the region. That said, while at the gathering of townspeople, the Hamas leader shower the children in the crowd with candy to reinforce the hateful words. In the video above I have referred to, which is a part of her rehabilitation, she talks about a cruel/evil encounter with a child. 

The fear israel has of Hamas goes beyond October 7th and as well as extends to Iran. While President Biden seeks influence with the Israeli leadership, it is very difficult. Israel understands Gaza through its own experience with the Palestinian people as well as Hamas. In many ways this war is intractable.
