Taylor Swift is a very talented woman.

She has strong feelings about things and her fans appreciate her for her moral character. It is exciting and wonderful to see her in love. It would be wonderful for her and Travis Kelcie if this is true love and the story continues. 

She has been dedicated to her career and seems to be a good business woman. Her shows don’t lack in quality which speaks to her love for her fans. I hope for them, Taylor, and Travis this friendship becomes the real thing. 

It was a special expression of the respect and affection Travis has for Taylor by bringing her family to the Superbowl. Very, very special. Let’s hope all her travel plans work well AND SAFELY for her arrival to watch the big game. It is noteworthy she didn’t cancel any performances to be at the Superbowl. I think it demonstrates her dedication and priorities to her career and her loyalty to her fans.

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment was voted on by Congress; by a majority of its members; and passed so that it could be voted on by a majority of Americans to pass safeguards to the U.S. Constitution. No justice in any court has a right to disallow the will of the majority of federal legislators and states full of citizens because to exercise the will of those people is inconvenient for their politics.

American men and women died during the Civil War to defend the U.S.A. Constitution. That sacrifice cannot be ignored by extremists sitting on the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

By the way, the Supreme Court’s radical right wing is a vehicle to destroy this democracy of which those Justices will never rule again in their oath of office should an insurrectionist become president!

What a mess this is. There is no conscience as to the well being of all Americans. It is a problem.

Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin, (click here) the chair of the Senate Judiciary committee, called for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to recuse himself from weighing in on whether former President Donald Trump can be removed from states’ 2024 ballots for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The nation’s highest court is expected to hear arguments on Thursday in the case, which centers on the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to remove the GOP frontrunner from their state’s primary ballot. The state court ruled Trump ineligible based on the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution’s insurrection clause, a Civil War-era provision that bars those who took an oath of office as a U.S. official from federal office for participating in a rebellion or insurrection.

Durbin argued the involvement of Thomas’ wife, conservative activist Ginni Thomas, in the effort to overturn Trump’s 2020 presidential election loss creates a conflict of interest for the justice....

How on Earth has Clarence Thomas not been required to recuse himself from all cases involving Trump's attempted coup? At the very least. I mean c'mon....

It's easy to get caught up (click here) on the news that the spouse of a sitting Supreme Court justice went full QAnon regarding the 2020 election, parroting conspiratorial delusions around how "the Biden crime family" would be "living in barges off GITMO to face a military tribunal" for the grievous crime of getting more votes than "This Great President." (Scattergun capitalization appears to be a hallmark of the politically unhinged.) Granted, Thomas seemed to legitimately believe Trump really won, likely because she boiled her own brain in a vat of right-wing Internet. But within its sterling writeup of Ginni Thomas's communications with then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows—as Donald Trump's coterie attempted to overturn the results of an election he lost so that he could stay in power in contravention of the will of the American public—the Washington Post flagged an important detail....

Trump spoke publicly during this period about his intent to contest the election results in the Supreme Court. “This is a major fraud on our nation,” the president said in a speech at 2:30 the morning after the election. “We want the law to be used in a proper manner. So we’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court.”...

It is all so cozy, isn't it? Like a family sort of. No. Not family, a religious conspiracy against a democracy that allows freedom is more the picture.

Do I think there is something corrupt and dangerous about this court? 

You betcha I do.

Beginning in the early 1980s, (click here) when it was not exactly cool to be a conservative law student, a small group of students started a club, named in honor of The Federalist Papers, where they could safely discuss their right-of-center views. Fast-forward 40 years and six of the nine sitting Supreme Court Justices are current or former members of that club....

Huh?

Never in my wildest imagination did I expect a Chief Justice confused about the Rule of Law. This is a no brainer. Robert’s doesn’t understand the words of the 14th Amendment? The courts after the civil war never had a problem understanding the English language of that Constitutional Amendment. Trump is guilty as sin through his own actions and words.

John Roberts is bringing shame to his court. According to him every state will bring lawsuits that remove a candidate from office on the grounds of insurrection. For real now? It is all nonsense. 

Colorado is correct and other states that allow Trump a place to be president are corrupted. This is just plain wrong!

Nothing will ever be enough. If the Republicans actually passed a bill, the politics would be over.

The 49-50 vote, far short of the 60 ayes needed to take up the bill, came after most Republicans said they would vote against the legislation, which also includes $60 billion in wartime aid to Ukraine and $14 billion for Israel and was backed by President Joe Biden. GOP lawmakers had insisted that the money for conflicts abroad be paired with help for the U.S. border....

RICO - The evidence stands on it's own.

On August 14, 2023, (click here) a Fulton County, Georgia grand jury indicted Donald Trump on 13 counts of criminal felonies. The charges revolve around Trump’s and 18 co-defendants’ efforts to overturn the will of the voters and interfere with the results of the 2020 presidential election.

On August 24, 2023, Donald Trump surrendered at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia. As part of his release, he agreed to a $200,000 bond and certain release terms, including agreeing not to use social media to target or harass his co-defendants or witnesses who might appear in the criminal proceedings.

All 19 defendants, including Trump, are charged with criminal racketeering under Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, which ties together individual criminal acts into a broader criminal network and conspiracy.

The Fulton County, Georgia indictment was brought by a grand jury of everyday citizens convened by DA Fani Willis. DA Willis is a highly respected veteran prosecutor who has been investigating Trump and his allies efforts to meddle with the 2020 election for more than two-and-a-half years.

The grand jury heard from many witnesses, including state officials who were asked by Trump and his allies to help overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

What I find incredibly unsettling is the persistent harassment by Mr. Trump of Mr. Raffensperger who diligently was trying to get him to understand they have found no fraud in the election. I sincerely believe Mr. Raffensperger thought Mr. Trump was misdirected by others and needed to understand the facts and not fiction. I think there is great respect of the former president to listen and validate his concerns, but, Trump gave them no respect in return.

I think Mr. Raffensperger is a great American. I believe he loves the country and the rule of law. He has integrity and that means a lot.

“The truth matters. Lies have consequences,” Dominion lawyer Justin Nelson told reporters outside a Delaware courthouse after Superior Court Judge Eric Davis announced the deal....

The FCC has enormous amount of evidence to severely review licenses of these broadcast frauds.

The jury in federal court in Washington found that Giuliani owes the workers, Wandrea "Shaye" Moss and her mother Ruby Freeman, roughly $73 million to compensate them for the reputational and emotional harm they suffered and $75 million to punish the former Trump lawyer and one-time New York mayor for his conduct....

Sorry folks, but, the conspiracy touted by the Trump camp is so big that it falls as false by it's own weight.

FCC

It is time for the Federal Communication Commission to monitor the blatant lies in some media services (click here). According to the Newsweek article a woman with the convoy that went to the USA southern border found the conditions at the border were not as bad as she thought. 

Ya know, infotainment is causing Americans a lot of stress in broadcasting blatant lies. No American needs more stress in relation to their own personal safety and the safety of their family members.

The USA has been experiencing a booming labor market. Wages have kept up with inflation and in most instances show a small margin increase over inflation. In the last year inflation is far less than the year before.

Personally, a private industry job I work increased my pay 28 percent as a retention issue. I never asked for it and it is not union. Then management opened the number of hours worked to be decided by the individual while holding the line on hours required to work. 

President Joe Biden has conducted a magnificent return of the USA following a very volatile and deadly presidency preceding him. His job rating on the economy should be substantially better than it is. Additionally, President Biden and the Secretary of Defense never treated the USA military capacity as muscle bound. The use of our military has been more than appropriate in addressing genocide, potential threats to NATO, showing strength in the Pacific, and being a strong ally to Israel. 

The FCC needs to apply power in ensuring the American people are protected from the extreme right wing media that is completely out of control. The caravan of concerned Americans traveling to the southern USA border is uninformed and upset as well as being armed. The FCC is not doing its job and allowing frank and dangerous lies to cause such dangerous actions by Americans that sincerely love their country, but, have media full of misinformation and misdirection in reporting.

It is profitable to be conjuring up lies, but, that is also illegal. Infotainment is false advertising and Americans don’t realize it.

Michigan Primary February 27

Many new regs to Michigan elections this year starting with the presidential primaries.

To begin February 2024 is a leap year with 29 days in the month.

The state is required to fund drop boxes.

The state is required to provide prepaid stamps for absentee ballots.

The state is required to allow voters to apply ONCE for absentee ballots in future elections.

State is required to have an electronic ballot tracking and notification system.

State is required to allow military ballots to be counted up to six days after the balloting closes so long as the ballot is post marked by Election Day.

State election primary is August 6 with election balloting on November 5th. 

The state is required to have early balloting for all elections starting with the second Saturday before an election and ending with the Sunday before the election. That is nine days of early balloting and includes drop off absentee ballots.

Early balloting sites must be open from 8:00 am to 4 pm all nine days.

Iran on Monday (click here) denied involvement in the weekend attack on a U.S. base in Jordan that killed three Americans, saying militant groups in the region do not take orders from Tehran and that Iran "does not welcome the expansion of conflicts in the region."

But Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani accused the U.S. of repeatedly violating the sovereignty of Iraq and Syria and said the military strikes on militant groups in Iraq, Syria and Yemen will "escalate the cycle of instability."

“Repeating the unfounded allegations against Iran is shifting of the blame," said Kanaani, dismissing the accusations as a "plot by those who see their interests in once again getting the U.S. involved in a new conflict in the region and provoke it to expand and escalate the crisis.”...

Islamic Resistance in Iraq

Responsibility for the deadly attack on US forces over the weekend was claimed by Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella term used by a number of Iran-backed groups in Iraq....

Iran is one of two countries fondly thought of as a Shi'ite homeland, Iraq being the other. Iran should be ashamed of it's hateful advocating for deaths among groups that will carry out what Iran believes necessary to exist in the world. Dubai - Commanders from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) (click here) and Lebanon's Hezbollah group are on the ground in Yemen helping to direct and oversee Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping, four regional and two Iranian sources told Reuters.

Iran - which has armed, trained and funded the Houthis - stepped up its weapons supplies to the militia in the wake of the war in Gaza, which erupted after Iranian-backed militants Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, the four regional sources said.

Tehran has provided advanced drones, anti-ship cruise missiles, precision-strike ballistic missiles and medium-range missiles to the Houthis, who started targeting commercial vessels in November in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, the sources said.

IRGC commanders and advisers are also providing know-how, data and intelligence support to determine which of the dozens of vessels travelling through the Red Sea each day are destined for Israel and constitute Houthi targets, all the sources said....

The American people do not want their military under such danger. Iran should know the value of life is far higher than those it calls allies. It has become necessary to come to the aid of our ally, Israel. The American people disdain war so it is highly unadvised for Iran backed militias to be forcing a conflict with the USA. It is highly unadvised for Iran to be such a willing partner to these deaths.

Sovereign, democratic countries don't commit genocide and they don't employ terrorists to carry out violence against others.

Iran breaks all the rules and is acting more as a terrorist itself.

Texas border with Mexico

Trump is really getting off on Texas’ secession movement at the border. He should run for president of Texas since he does not care his majority Supreme Court upheld the federal statues regarding the USA contiguous border and removing barbed wire. 

Honestly. Trump hates this country and wants to destroy it because he could never live by the rules and was crushed by his own corrupted business model over and over.

Aid for Palestine

This is difficult to state because I have believed in the United Nations mission for a very long time, but, the corruption within the organization is profound. There needs to be a change in leadership and quite frankly the only country that can carry out investigations and prosecutions is the USA. The UN Headquarters, while is has special standing due to its diplomatic purposes, is on USA soil.

The next General Secretary of the United Nations must come from the USA and be given the power of investigation and prosecution. Nothing else is going to clean up the mess. Until that occurs agencies within the UN must end relationships (ie: contacts) with independent organizations of all kinds. Travel, aid distribution, and all expenditures including spending accounts for employees must be handled internally. Inspector Generals from member countries will provide monitoring of all activities involving the movement of aid and monies with quarterly reports to the UN Security Council.

Change in the organization must occur in order to secure its continued operation in the manner originally set down in the charter. 

Realizing outside agencies that are supposed to serve a benevolent purpose are actually channeling monies to terrorists is astounding. 

Additionally, there is evidence that the terrorist activities with PayPal are using cyber access that appears to be sovereign in its power to remove monies from accounts without a trace. There is reason to believe this is a group of India nationalists based in California. 

All these nefarious cyber activities must stop and civilization preserved. The kind of power witnessed with high levels of cyber competency and assaultive purposes, in my opinion, is an act of terrorism and/or war. I remind there was an assassination of a Sikh activist in Canada and the cyber assaults on financial institutions such as PayPal may be related. 

Regardless, “Untied Nations” is a real entity operating within the structure of the United Nations that seduces people and takes their money. It is covertly operating as an exclusive travel agency to the UN. How convenient to have such power and access. The existence of this entity proves there are terrorists within the UN that must be dealt with and removed from assess of highly powerful cyber connections. It is ridiculous to think figure head leaders, including the UN Generals are not aware of these dangers. They are an arm of violence in the world. There should be no sympathy for those so willing to kill.

All these activities within the USA and internationally must stop. The disease of terrorism within the free world must end.

Israel Buffer Zone

I think Israel’s Buffer Zone is a perfect solution (click here).

The Palestinians will have a clear way of knowing where their border ends. It will also provide a method for Israel to monitor any attempt of attacks approaching its border.

The border security measures failed when Hamas successfully entered Israel and slaughtered 1200 citizens. The people slaughtered were focused on benevolence, including health care workers attempting to care for the wounded. These people were completely unarmed and I am sure they believed they were protected by international law. Well, international law be damned when it comes to terrorists such as Hamas. Hamas has no respect for others. 

The most classic example of such use of land is the Korean Peninsula DMZ. Bush visited it and Trump crossed it after exchanging love letters with Kim after he assassinated his own brother. 

The Buffer Zone will work as Israel has managed to reach the entire border with its military. There won’t be peace because Hamas won’t allow it, but, there will be a stabilizing force to the area.
