UN Resolution

Who wrote the UN Resolution? It was all one sided exonerating Hamas from the crimes it has committed and continues to commit.

There are still hostages.

Hamas broke the previous ceasefire.

They use the Palestinians as human shields. 

Israeli intelligence has found the plans Hamas had for Israel.

Where is President Abbas in moving the people to the West Bank? 

Those that demand a ceasefire by Israel make no such demand of Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization that continues to fight Israeli forces. What plan is the UN proposing for Israel to end the hostilities of Hamas? 

The countries ranting on about the USA and the UK are among the criminals with charges at the world court. I hardly call any of them humanitarian in any of their demonstrable values. Their statements were nothing more than staged propaganda.

The UAE has been instrumental in the past, what now that everything is once again in chaos and violence. The answer here seems simple to me; Hamas is to surrender, end all violence, release the remaining Israeli hostages, and end the occupation of Palestinian lands. 

Hamas can end this violence now.

Evening is quickly approaching.

Happy Hanukkah to all. Eight beautiful days of remembrance while looking toward a future of peace. It is possible. Let the Supernova Sukkot Gathering find a special meaning this year and for all years to come.

So, Texas murderer needed a job.

That is Texas. God forbid there should be any concern for the human condition. God forbid there are food stamps, unemployment, Medicaid, or welfare. If a Texan has no income or sufficient income to support themselves and/or their many children then put your life and health in the line and start drilling for oil and gas.

There is so much violence in that state. They live and die by the gun. I take it the border had little or nothing to do with these unnecessary deaths.

There is also enforced racism in that state. I don’t recall the case, but, a community protested the death of a Hispanic man while law enforcement walked away without a question. Racism exists in all aspects of Texas including healthcare.

But, in this case, a desperate man seeking employment did not have the moral appreciation for life of others over their deaths to demonstrate his pain.

Well.

It sounds like Texas.

There is ALWAYS only one winner.

There is always one winner in any of the Republican debates and it is the candidate that has placed THE TRUTH at the center of his campaign. The truth is the strength of democracy and the weakness the Republicans chronically enter into our democracy is at the very least unethical, but, many times is illegal like George Santos and his mentor Donald John Trump.

GO, CHRIS CHRISTIE, GO!

The USA is not fighting for it's life.

I am waiting for the Republicans to grow up. This is ridiculous.

The Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and the entire Joint Chiefs should be called up on for their opinion (click here) of the aid packages to our allies as it is a national security issue.

Providing support to allies is an OBLIGATION that ensures the USA national security. Every country the USA calls allies is such for the protection of the USA. They are vital to our own national security, not just theirs. Tuberville finally relented and now this mess. 

WHY IS THERE A SIXTY VOTE THRESHOLD ON NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUES?

Every one of those three countries holds the line on threats to the USA. Every one of those countries. Not simply one or the other, but, all three are pivotal to USA national security interests and the Republicans are playing politics.

The American people need to wake up to all this gaming and put people in office that actually belong there.

The Senate has blocked (click here) a supplemental funding bill that included financial aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan as well as provisions aimed at bolstering border security. The vote, which fell mostly along party lines, increases the likelihood that Congress will fail to approve more funding for Ukraine before the end of the year, as the White House has warned that Kyiv is desperately in need of more aid.

The vote was 49 to 51, as every Senate Republican opposed advancing the legislation. Sixty votes were needed to take up the bill. Republicans in both chambers of Congress had demanded stricter border regulations in exchange for their support, and they said the bill failed to meet their requirements....

The border issues are non-issues. The Republicans are making a mountain out of a mole hill. The people coming to the USA southern are not violence militias. The are unarmed human beings. There is very little to discuss. The funding for their countries were cut in past administrations and now there are migrations north because of the lack of employment and services.

The issue of the USA southern border has absolutely NOTHING to do with the security interests of Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

Governments in the region have made some efforts to mitigate the poverty, violence, and corruption that are driving citizens away, but the problems remain widespread.

Recent U.S. administrations have varied in their responses to the Northern Triangle challenge, which have included changes to foreign aid and U.S. immigration policies. So far, the Joe Biden administration has proposed a $4 billion plan to address the root causes of migration from Central America, worked to stimulate private-sector investment in the region, and extended temporary legal protections for certain migrant groups....

The southern border issues HAS TO BE SOLVED, not ignored!!!!

This is so ridiculously political it is disgusting. We know what works and why it works. This is all an enflamed issue because the Republicans like the politics. it is the ONLY reason the southern border is in the middle of national security funding for three allied countries in desperate need of the USA's help.

What is being said about the USA Border is unethical and highly immoral. People are dying when they should be home working and building their country. But, because previous administrations cut funding and destroyed the progress made this is now a political focus. Republicans are NOT RESPONSIBLE and DO NOT GOVERN!

Republicans on the House Oversight Committee (click here) released a document showing payment from Hunter Biden’s business entity, Owasco PC, to President Joe Biden when he was not in office, but neglected to include evidence that the president’s son was repaying his father for a car.

The redacted document provided to CNN shows that an account affiliated with Hunter Biden paid Joe Biden $1,380 on September 17, 2018. The document states the payments would occur on a monthly basis, and the panel is aware of at least three monthly payments to Joe Biden in total, a source familiar with the committee’s work told CNN.

But documents provided to CNN appear to show that Hunter Biden was repaying his father for a Ford Raptor, information that had already been publicized. A source familiar with the payment told CNN that Hunter Biden’s credit was low at the time while he was struggling with addiction, so he couldn’t finance the car and his father signed for the car, which was in Joe Biden’s name....

So while non-news is being scandalized by the US House. The Speaker is admitting he is anti-American. Anyone notice or is everyone more interested in car payments?

The US House Speaker uses government film to distract from the truth by carrying out paternalism toward criminals involved in the January 6th crimes. He deliberately blurred the images of the government films so those carrying out the crimes on January 6th can't be identified. Does that make the US House Speaker an accomplice after the fact?

So Hunter Biden pays his father back for a truck purchase out of an account where deposits were made for his work abroad, even China and the US House Speaker is pretending to protect insurgents (not rioters) from identification. Who in particular did Johnson believe he needed to protect? Maybe the US House ethics committee needs to ask him that question.

"We don’t want them to be retaliated against (click here) and to be charged by the DOJ,” the House speaker said. His office later noted that DOJ already has the raw footage.

Washington - Speaker Mike Johnson said Tuesday that House Republicans are blurring footage from the Capitol attack before releasing it publicly because they don't want Jan. 6 rioters to be charged with crimes.

"We have to blur some faces of persons who participated in the events of that day because we don’t want them to be retaliated against and to be charged by the DOJ," Johnson said Tuesday.

Johnson, who was deeply involved in efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election based on false claims of mass election fraud, said that people should do their own research into the Capitol attack.

The speaker said he is releasing the footage to counter the Jan. 6 Committee's presentation of the riot.

“We want the American people to draw their own conclusions,” Johnson said. “I don’t think partisan elected officials in Washington should present a narrative and expect that it should be seen as the ultimate truth.”...

Israel

Hamas attacked Israel again (click here.) It is impossible to overlook an increase in aggression when there is suppose to be a ceasefire.

There is a website pointing to evacuation areas for the Palestinians. The Israel military website is written in Arabic. 

The New York Times has a report about the displaced Palestinians (click here). I am certain the article is meant to be accusatory, but, the reality is that the maps are proof many Palestinians successfully lived through the retaliatory strikes by Israel of Gaza. It is safe to say the Palestinians “get it.”

Holiday Travel

If traveling this holiday season, first and foremost arrive alive. If able to use mass transit at least consider it. If traveling by personal vehicle consider the fuel used and conserve. Traveling five to ten miles per hour slower will prove to save fuel and money.

And they have the nerve to arrest Greta Thunberg. She has made a court appearance and pleaded not guilty. She is the only public figure that has been honest and forthright through this entire disaster that effects her generation the hardest.

They really want to shut her up. It doesn't matter that the UAE wants to deal oil and gas during a climate crisis summit, they don't get arrested regardless the incredibly unethical and immoral act against Greta's generation. No, those bozos go on put greed before life.

Climate activist Greta Thunberg (click here) has been charged with a public order offense after being arrested at a demonstration against an oil and gas industry conference in London.

The Metropolitan Police force said Wednesday that the 20-year-old Swedish campaigner was one of 26 people charged after protesters gathered outside the luxury InterContinental Hotel during the Energy Intelligence Forum. Thunberg was among dozens of protesters who chanted “oily money out” and sought to block access to the hotel on Tuesday.

Thunberg was detained and taken to a police station before being released overnight, police said....

The host of the UN Cop28 summit, (click here) the United Arab Emirates, planned to use climate meetings with other countries to promote deals for its national oil and gas companies, according to leaked documents.

Cop28 begins on Thursday and will be run by Sultan Al Jaber, who is the chief executive of the national oil company Adnoc as well as the UAE’s climate envoy. This dual role has been criticised as a conflict of interest, and climate summit veterans said the new revelations undermined trust in Al Jaber’s presidency of Cop28, potentially threatening a successful outcome.

The Guardian reported recently that Adnoc had the largest net zero-busting expansion plans of any company in the world and that state-run oil and gas fields in the UAE had been flaring gas almost daily despite having committed 20 years ago to a policy of zero routine flaring. Adnoc questioned the figures behind the report but did not provide its own figures....

State-owned oil and gas fields (click here) across the United Arab Emirates have flared almost constantly despite a long-standing policy to eliminate “routine” flaring in their operations, DeSmog can reveal.

New data, produced exclusively for The Guardian and DeSmog, found that a single gas field in the United Arab Emirates run by state oil firm Adnoc flared more gas than all oil and gas fields in Norway last year....

Congratulations to all parties.

Such a small country with mighty influence and trust.

Qatar must garner a great deal of respect to continue to carry such good news forward. It is magnificent. The world is watching and all faiths are praying this will move into a lasting truce whereby Israel will have security, and the Palestinian people will have a way of life that is also secure without the threat of underground tunnels and explosives in the basements of hospitals. 

The world wants this truce. It would be a major achievement for Israel to secure Gaza for the Palestinian people as well as their own national security. That is what would be the best outcome for all these people. 

I congratulate Qatar for it's incredible achievement to date. It is already a significant achievement in diplomacy already, but, to realize this is extended two more days with the potential to end this war is more than anyone thought possible. Israel has said if the hostages keep coming they would continue to honor the truce. This has a real potential for peace and national security for Israel was well as the Palestinian people.

Fill the tunnels with concrete and never let them be used again.

Abigail Edan will grow up knowing how her parents died. The people of Palestine will also know how many are dead and why. This war started because of hatred. There needs to be an end to any and all hatred. It has to stop. The two nations of people must find a lasting peace. If they both can build security for the future anything is possible. The region needs stability and the price for that stability has been paid in blood. The hatred must stop. Those that have died can be the heroes that bring about the end of hatred. The young people at the festival did not know hatred, they longed for a peace between these two nations of people. Honor their memories in the spirit they would intend.

Tel Aviv, Israel (AP) — Israel and Hamas (click here) agreed to extend their cease-fire for two more days past Monday, the Qatari government said, raising the prospect of a longer halt to their deadliest and most destructive war and further exchanges of militant-held hostages for Palestinians imprisoned by Israel.

The announcement, made by Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid Al Ansary in a post on X, came on the final day of the original four-day truce between the warring sides. The Israeli military said Monday evening that 11 hostages were handed over to the Red Cross in Gaza and were on their way to Israeli territory, marking the start of the fourth swap under the original truce.

Israel has said it would extend the cease-fire by one day for every 10 additional hostages released. After the announcement by Qatar — a key mediator in the conflict, along with the United States and Egypt — Hamas confirmed it had agreed to a two-day extension “under the same terms.”...

Lemkin’s Law

Samantha Power in her book “A Problem From Hell,” holds Lemkin’s Law (click here) as the basis for prosecution of genocide. Most notable Raphael Lemkin was an advisor to the United States Supreme Court in regard to genocide.

Raphael Lemkin (click here) single handedly built an understanding of the moral concept of genocide. It wasn’t until WW II did his work take on deep meaning. 

The point is, the world came together to create moral international law that prohibited genocide. That global belief banned the use of genocide as a war tactic and a means to take land. Civilized discourse would not provide for hatred between nations of people. Most terrified of any such dialogue were and are the Germans as their politics have not allowed such an idea.

As peoples sharing a single planet we must spurn any and all ideas of allowing genocidal ideation and the weapons that empower it. Hatred of each other must stop in all dialogues and be feared as it was when Raphael Lemkin coined the word genocide.

The world must return to peace and solve the problems of humanity living on Earth. 

41 hostages released.

According to CNBC News (click here) there are a total of 41 hostages released including a 4 year old American-Israeli child who lost both her parents in the initial attack by Hamas. I hope there are other family members able to care for Abigail Mor Edan.

There appears to be success in protecting the hostages during this time while Israel dismantles the Hamas tunnel system. While some hostages remain in danger it appears Hamas is respecting some aspect of the Geneva Convention that provides for prisoners.

I congratulate President Biden in limiting any escalation of this war which also includes some very level headed approach from other countries in the region. The response for calm by many Islamic Clerics and Imams has also contributed to this four day ceasefire and hostage release. 

Israel has stated there would be a one day extension of the ceasefire for every ten hostages released over the agreed 50. It would be good if that occurred while Palestinian prisoner release continues and further talks continue to provide security to Israel and the Palestinian people away from being human shields. 

It is an optimistic time. It would be best to continue the peace and resolve to end any threat to the people in this region of the world.

Qatar and Egypt have achieved something exceptional.

The ceasefire, humanitarian relief in the way of supplies, and the hostage release is one of most incredible achievements of this world. I might add Qatar has also been successful in returning a few Ukrainian youth to their country. Truly an amazing set of accomplishments. Qatar loves children and understands the special meaning women have to families.

Congratulations to Egypt, Qatar, Israel and Hamas for reaching beyond the war and into the hearts of the people. Exceptionally well done.

Russia sincerely wants genocide of Ukrainians .

To begin, Iran has become intricate to Russia’s plans (click here). Outside of that, the reporting by Reuters clearly shows an Iranian drone hit a kindergarten in Ukraine. A civilian target whereby children are the targets.

Sergey Mironov, a Russian political party leader, is named as the adopting father of a Ukrainian child removed in 2022 from Kherson’s Regional Children’s Home as reported by the BBC. Ukrainian officials an estimated 20,000 Ukrainian children have been taken by Russian forces since the invasion began.

Displacing children’s identities into a completely foreign ethnic orientation is genocide. Ukraine’s children are a Russian target. Absolutely they are. If alive the children are reoriented into a new identification that abandons their Ukrainian homeland. If out of Russia’s reach the children are attacked as a target for death as in this kindergarten.

Trudeau of Canada

In a statement in support of Ukraine (click here) an knowledges the particular MAGA hatred of democracy can permeate politics but never enough to hurt the morality of democracy.
