I am not a power broker. I trust the American people. They need to decide and it is a tough decision.
Please keep your voices strong, one of them will be in the Oval Office on January 20, 2021.
Thank you for caring about the USA. I heard from America tonight. It is not lost, however, a segment of our citizens is sequestered away from the truth, oppressed and surrendered. Please, keep you voices strong and I thank you all.

This is going to sound silly, but, why didn't NAFTA negate this statue?
Until recently the persons primarily crossing the border were men looking for work. That's NAFTA. NAFTA made working as a professional in the USA or Canada or Mexico easy when needing credentials in Canada or a Canadian or Mexican needing credentials in the USA, ie: Nurses. That is Americans crossing a border to work in a different country because of NAFTA and vice versa. Why aren't these people treated the same way?

It was the first moment of fireworks Wednesday night. (click here) Julian Castro, the former HUD secretary under President Obama, took a shot at his fellow Texan, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke on his record on immigration: “I think you should do your homework,” Castro said.
The issue? A little-known, near-century-old statute that’s the backbone of Trump’s family separation policy.
Section 1325 of Title 8 of the U.S. Code makes it a crime for someone to enter the U.S. somewhere other than an official port of entry. It’s what makes crossing the border without authorization illegal — specifically, a misdemeanor; re-entering after being deported is a felony — and it dates back to a low point in U.S. immigration history....
The kind of work these men were performing was vital to the agricultural southwest. I met them and their children. They were a community whereby their children went to school except during harvest and even then they were provided at home education to maintain their studies. There were very strict laws enacted in Southern California when it came to spraying crops with anything. When there was a violation of such laws that endangered the health of these workers, the plane operator was facing a judge.
Just because they aren't professionals with a license means they are disposable workers. There was a big warehouse store in Bakersfield that catered to their needs. They sold inexpensive items in bulk and some of the attendants spoke Spanish. These workers and their families were valuable parts of that economy.
So, I don't get it. Why hasn't NAFTA kicked in and ended the laws that hurt these valuable people the most?
Section 1325 (click here) sets forth criminal offenses relating to (1) improper entry into the United States by an alien, (2) entry into marriage for the purpose of evading immigration laws, and (3) establishing a commercial enterprise for the purpose of evading immigration laws. The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA) amended 8 U.S.C. § 1325 to provide that an alien apprehended while entering or attempting to enter the United States at a time or place other than as designated by immigration officers shall be subject to a civil penalty.
Comment: Further discussion of these offenses is set forth in Chapter 4 of Immigration Law, published as part of the Office of Legal Education's Litigation Series, and as part of the USABook computer library.

The Supreme Court ruling regarding gerrymandering is completely ridiculous.
The decision is based in Federalist Society theocracy. It is a direct assault on the separation of church and state. The Supreme Court isn't supposed to make a decision amounting to "Dah, I donna know."
It plays into THE Republican strategy for 2020 along with the border wall.
Elections are supposed to be free and fair, not LIMITED to those in control over the ORGANIZATION of the TASK.
This is the ideologically driven Robert's Court chosen from lawyers and judges GROOMED for the purpose of overthrowing the USA democracy.

The Supreme Court (click here) said Thursday that federal courts must stay out of disputes over when politicians go too far in drawing district lines for partisan gain -- a ruling that could fundamentally affect the balance of power in state legislatures and Congress.

Beth Chapman died at far too young an age of 51.
A really lovely lady died today and I send sincerest sympathies to her family, friends and fans.
She was unique. She did not have an easy life. She took the experiences of her life and talked to young women she and her spouse picked up on warrants from courts. They were glamorized as bounty hunters.
She was not heartless and acted out of compassion to everyone retrieved from society that needed to face a judge to begin their walk back to freedom and a better life on the right side of the law.
I didn't know she was even ill. That is how gracious she was to all who watched the show she starred in with her husband. I am sorry she died so young. She didn't deserve it.
Much comfort to her family and all those that loved her. She was great.

China
I thought this article out of Australia summed up the problems The West and China now face. To begin, I do not believe China is interested in war. I wish it were more interested in improving the quality of life for all it's people rather than ensuring cheap labor. It can become a great country, but, not so long as it practices international corporate espionage.
June 20, 2019
While the drift in most areas of public policy (click here) is becoming alarming, perhaps our so-called China policy is among the most concerning.
Our positions on China virtually blow in the wind. It seems we simply hope to muddle through, rather than to develop and respond in terms of a well thought out and defined longer-term strategy on our relations with China....
When Nixon went to China he never expected Neil Bush to become a wealthy man on computer school software. China has an economic strategy to engage every country in the world by building it's own cranes at every port, but, it was in the belief that is the way things are done. I don't believe there was a lot of strategic planning to defeat The West, so much as believing free trade was an "at will" business model.
What China didn't realize is that in order for it to prosper, the First World economy is based in a strong Middle Class supported by unions. China simply opened it's doors for business and turned everyone loose on it's interior. That is how the USA receive melamine in pet food.
The West, in taking advantage of cheap labor, never told China it's best kept secret, the American Working Middle Class. Instead, the CEOs of major companies found their bonuses well padded by moving labor-intensive work to a cheap labor force, either in China and/or Mexico. When sales of products fell the Republicans simply told China to stock warehouses full of their goods in the USA and sell them 2 for 1. It worked, for the most part, then, "W" told Americans it was very American to have the freedom of working three jobs every week to make ends meet. It was "W" that believed USA labor had to compete against international cheap labor. That is how we founded a well established Working Poor Class. The "W" legacy of cheap American labor continues into today.
China doesn't commit corporate espionage as a plan for the future, it firmly believes that is the way forward for it's economy. I mean, "Everyone does it, right?"
China is posing a threat to the American economy because it was allowed to by Republicans that don't understand the USA economy and how it works. They simply want business to thrive on cheap labor and Americans have to compete with international cheap labor, therefore, unions are worthless to Republicans. That is the paradigm we face today.
Where China impacts USA national security is in artificial intelligence and 5G capacity. It is Russia that has leaned on China regarding the capacity of AI and 5G and it is Russia that is a greater national threat than China. Both countries are communist in governing and they are neighbors. What is good for one is good for the other.
What shows immensely, at least from an environmental point of view, is that China is among the countries leaning heavily into alternative energies while recognizing the pollution in their skies. China belongs to the Paris Accords and has both oars in the water in attempting to achieve far lower greenhouse gas emissions.
I do not believe China is as much as a problem as Russia is in relation to the USA national security. If the unions of the USA were provided a stage to demonstrate how they can iron things out and make it all work for the USA Middle Class, it would set an example for capitalism that would become a sustainable economy rather than bubble and bust. The unions can overcome the impact of Chinese cheap labor. We need a president that believes in unions and set them as an example to QUALITY OF LIFE around the world. The USA needs its Middle Class and it needs other countries like China to have a strong Middle Class as well.
It isn't about trade deals, so much as lifting up others in countries that want to share in the profitability of the USA economy and use a well paid USA Middle Class as an example.
When Nixon went to China he was hoping it would help the Chinese people and not simply exploit them. Nixon believed in democracy in a way Trump does not. Nixon wanted China to be successful, but, because it lifted it's people up in the same way the USA does it's own. It is time to get back on track and demand a well paid Middle Class in China and Mexico and then TRADE with them to increase sales and profitability to satisfy the quality of life.
Nixon didn't lack morality, but, Trump does.

Delaney needs to get a job. He might find when he does in the USA, his salary isn't making ends meet. I thought Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard put him to shame over Afghanistan. She knows what she is talking about.
I have my candidate.
I wish every well. They are incredible candidates.
Well done, everyone.

Manama, Bahrain — Bahrain (click here) sees the US-led economic workshop taking place in Manama this week as a possible “gamechanger” tantamount in its scope to the 1978 Camp David peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, the Gulf state’s foreign minister said Wednesday, also firmly backing Israel’s right to exist.
“We see it as very, very important,” Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa told The Times of Israel on the sidelines of the “Peace to Prosperity” workshop.
Khalifa also stressed that his country recognizes Israel’s right to exist, knows that it is “there to stay,” and wants peace with it.
He said the US-organized conference here, which is focused on the economic aspects of the Trump administration’s Israeli-Palestinian peace plan, could be like Egyptian president Anwar Sadat’s visit to Jerusalem in 1977, which helped pave the way to the Camp David Accords and the normalizing of relations between Egypt and Israel....

FOX News is calling this 'an image" as if it not real. There are impossible circumstances at the USA southern border to people seeking asylum. This is the result.
The child had her arms around her father's neck and was on his back. He placed his shirt over the two of them so he knew where she was all the time and she couldn't get washed away from him. The current was too strong for an emaciated man and both have died. Trump can take credit for every one of the deaths at the border. There are many, many children in peril and have died.

Unfortunately, Former Director Mueller needs to set the record straight regarding the mishandling of his report since submitted.
Unless my eyes deceived me, Bill Barr vacated the indictment of the Russians that assaulted the USA 2016 elections. I think the Former FBI Director and Special Counsel needs to address the recklessness of the current administration in preventing further damage to USA elections and Barr's incompetent handling of the report since submitted.
Since submitting the report to the DOJ, there has been nothing but ethical violations and quite possibly lawlessness. The Former FBI Director had to address the fact the public was to have access in a 2 page letter while it specifically stated in the baseline organization documents from Assist. AG Rosenstein that the public was to have the report without question.
These are not minor issues. These are also not part of the report. There has been gross mishandling of the report by the DOJ and that cannot continue to stand. Regardless of how the Former FBI Director may feel about talking about peers, he needs to do exactly that.

Child capacity at the USA southern border.
Trump loyalists states, "...the doors were open, they could have left when they wanted...."
Really? I mean, really? Really, these children have the capacity to reason they can leave?
I don't believe they have the map home or anywhere else for that matter. Children's understanding of life is what they know in the world provided to them. They aren't natural explorers. Bravery in a child is learned and not inherent.
They are in the desert. There is nothing around them they recognize as home. Teens might leave because they would have the rational they could come back. But, children won't understand the world enough to realize there is a way outside the concentration camp that is viable for their survival.
I find open doors leading to the world irresponsible of the adult jailers.
I would expect the last words spoken to them by their separated parents or family were, "I love you. Be good. Do as you are told. We will see you later."
It isn't as though the authorities using private contractors as jailers or prison wardens provide an inspiring example.
...Stewart ended up in jail for a probation violation (click here) related to a five-year-old incident where he had shoplifted an 18-pack of beer and swung it at someone attempting to stop him. Jail and/or prison isn't supposed to turn into a death sentence. Why are we surprised the same level of neglect and cruelty are shown to children not yet citizens?

The USA has a standard for personal hygiene. It is current as of 2015.
Personal hygiene is to prevent disease and it's spread. Personal hygiene is important to the USA. Below is the minimal equipment issue for the U.S. Army.
The political ideology of the Trump White House is contrary to the usual and normal standard of the USA.
2-3. To maintain an effective personal hygiene regimen, (click here) each Soldier must maintain a supply of personal hygiene items for use when they are going to the field or deploying. Note. Soldiers being deployed for unspecified periods of time should consider packing a 90-day supply of prescription medications and standard toiletry articles until sustainment of these items can be assured. 2-4. Personal hygiene items may include, but is not limited to, the following items:
Absorbent body powder
Alcohol-based hand sanitizer
Antiperspirant/deodorant

Congratulations to Stephanie Grisham. Isn't this the second time Trump has taken a Melanie staffer for his own office?

Grisham worked (click here) as the spokeswoman for the Republicans in the Arizona Legislature after a stint of several years as the public information officer for state Attorney General Tom Horne.
Melania Trump's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham (click here) will get a major new role as both White House press secretary and communications director, the first lady tweeted Tuesday.
"I am pleased to announce @StephGrisham45 will be the next @PressSec & Comms Director! She has been with us since 2015 - @POTUS & I can think of no better person to serve the Administration & our country. Excited to have Stephanie working for both sides of the @WhiteHouse. #BeBest" Melania Trump tweeted.
President Donald Trump didn't look far for his next press secretary in Grisham, who for the past two years has been the communications director for the first lady. Grisham will keep her current job too....

The US house in writing the federal budget has to take a look at slowing the national debt and reducing it as much as possible.
The Republican tax law of 2017 is imposing high national deficits and a record national debt in the decades to come. There are also ridiculous items such as subsidies to the petroleum industry that should have been eliminated long ago. The US House has the right to impose taxes and/or eliminate tax breaks with every bill they write. I suggest they begin to identify where the national budget can realistically be reduced and begin the process.

Federal debt (click here) is projected to jump to post-World War II levels this year and reach unprecedented levels over the next three decades, the Congressional Budget Office said Tuesday.
Under current laws, the CBO forecasts debt would reach 78% of gross domestic product by the end of 2019 and 144% of GDP by 2049. While those estimates are slightly lower than those made last year and remain highly uncertain, the nonpartisan office said they still present risks to the economy.
"The prospect of such high and rising debt poses substantial risks for the nation and presents policymakers with significant challenges," the CBO said its Long-Term Budget Outlook Report, noting that the US would see even larger increases in debt if lawmakers reversed course on plans to slash spending in 2020 and to let tax cuts expire in 2026....

Defunding of the federal government is causing problems at the US southern border.
All the bizarre cuts in funding occurring in the federal government, ie: Special Olympics, is Trump seeking to defund and eliminate the federal government with the exception of the USA military. That is a priority of the Tea Party ideology and it has now caused inhumane treatment of children.
The word enumerated was used by the lawyer representing the White House at least twice in arguing soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste and blankets are not required in safe and sanitary conditions. The Tenth Amendment of the USA Constitution discusses the enumerated powers of the federal government. In seeking to eliminate the federal government, the Tea Party ideology leans on that amendment over and over. The idea of enumerated appears in other agencies of the USA government such as "Occupational, Safety and Health Administration" Walking and Working Surfaces (click here). These are regulations businesses in the USA believe superfluous to increasing profits to shareholders. Businesspersons such as Trump view regulations as tripwires to lawsuits and the like in impacting profitability. Trump likes to think of himself as a person chasing after the ideology of making the federal government profitable or at the very least eliminate the cause of expenses.
The problem with any of the words used to write an order is that those seeking to circumvent the order will pick on words in order to negate the power of a judicial order. That is what is occurring with the words, "safe and sanitary" when it comes to the children removed from family members and placed in cages after crossing the southern border.
The Trump White House is trying to cut costs and quite possibly eliminate any responsibility for treating border crossers, regardless of age, humanly. One of the problems in dealing with a businessman in the Oval Office is that the government is the enemy to profits and in this case the existing government is the enemy to the Tea Party ideology.

...Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-Calif.) said Pelosi agreed to back changes to the bill detailing what constitutes humane treatment for migrant children in U.S. custody.
“There’s a way to change behavior (click here) rather than just funding a dysfunctional system,” he said. “If you give them soap and toothbrushes and yet the administration is arguing that these children do not need toothbrushes and soap, then you’re not going to change behavior. If you don’t mandate ‘allow them to bathe daily,’ then they’re still going to be without bathing for many days.”...
Unfortunately, no flexibility can be built into any laws when it comes to dealing with people dedicated to a very vicious ideology of the Tea Party. Usually, legislators don't want to make laws completely inflexible to accommodate the circumstance not envisioned by legislators. But, in the case of the Trump White House, legislation has to be strict and enumerated otherwise the laws will not be adhered to and will be toyed with. Court appearances will become and has become a strategy of this political ideology.
When constructing legislation, the US House will have to enumerate the items that constitute humane treatment in order to achieve humane treatment of people at the southern border. I would not limit the enumeration of humane treatment items to children either. The people seeking asylum at the USA southern border do not want to return to their country of origin. They need to be able to begin to have materials that allow them to read to function within the borders of the USA. In the case of not just humane treatment, the words QUALITY OF LIFE can be included to indicate a higher standard of anticipated citizens entering the USA for asylum. Quality of life includes priorities of learning as well.

Tobacco and vap shops are breaking the law and endangered the lives of teens.

An undercover operation in California (click here) found that half of tobacco and vape shops failed to check IDs for teens purchasing e-cigarettes and other nicotine products, despite a state law raising the legal age for purchasing tobacco products to 21.
Researchers sent 18- and 19-year-old "decoys" into stores without ID, instructing them to tell the truth about their age if asked. The teenagers then attempted to purchase vape products -- e-cigarettes or e-liquids with nicotine -- and a chaperone watched to see if the store asked for ID and made a sale.
Almost half of tobacco and vape shops illegally sold nicotine-containing products to the teens, according to the research, published Monday in the medical journal JAMA Pediatrics. Liquor stores, supermarkets and pharmacies were significantly more likely to check for ID and less likely to make the illegal sales....
