Israel’s national anthem (click here) was played at a judo tournament in Abu Dhabi on Sunday for the first time, after one of its athletes won gold.
A visibly moved Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev, who was at the contest to support the Israeli team, presented the medals and hung the gold medallion around the neck of judoka Sagi Muki.
The playing of the Israeli national anthem and Regev’s attendance at the tournament were the latest milestones in Israel’s gradual rapprochement with some Arab states....

Unemployment is not a reason for asylum under any administration.
The USA military is not supposed to be deployed within the sovereign borders of the country. That is the job for the National Guard!
This is not an invasion of enemy troops. These are impoverished people with the majority women with children and unescorted minors. The USA military are not to be used for babysitting services. The USA military have training for combat. The people from the Northern Triad are unarmed.
The only control necessary is crowd control during processing and humanitarian aid and plenty of it. The aid has to include food, water and medical needs including vaccines for those processed with protected status to enter the USA.
Due to the hardening of the Mexican borders a man was killed. The migrants proceeded through the additional measures to stop them. Human rights groups have stated some of the measures being deployed to stop the migration were violating human rights.
The USA is the destination for these people, if met with humanitarian aid there should be a peaceful movement. We already know there are lines at the legal crossing points as processing is conducted. Migrants are not known for violence.
President Trump needs to release foreign aid funding to the Northern Triad governments as the processing returns many of the migrants with their children home.

Due to historic flooding in Texas (click here) that started the week of Oct. 7, Texas Task Force 1 was deployed to stand guard and protect those affected by the weather.
Texas Task Force 1 was founded in 1997 by the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service with members from across the state. Their training facility and headquarters are in College Station, but teams in each region of the state are gathered and deployed during dangerous weather events. Teams work closely with local authorities and jurisdictions to assist when needed.
Throughout its history, Texas Task Force 1 has been involved in a wide variety of rescues said Stephen Bjune, public information officer for Texas Task Force 1.
“We’ve done search and rescues for the state since 1997, ranging from tornadoes in the Valley, the Aggie Bonfire collapse, the Columbia shuttle, Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Ike [and] Harvey,” Bjune said. “We’ve responded all across the country.”
Randy Prestage, a Texas Task Force 1 squad leader with the Gainesville Fire Department, said his squad was activated the morning of Oct. 16 and drove from Gainesville to Llano as part of the western region package sent out to the flooding site.
“We’ve just been monitoring ongoing situations as far as rainfall, the river rise and falls, whether it be minor, moderate, significant flooding,” Prestage said. “We just have teams positioned throughout the bottom two-thirds of the state of Texas for assistance so we can go out and support the local jurisdictions.”
There are about 800 members on the task force, consisting of Texas Task Force 1 based out of College Station, Texas Task Force 2 from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Texas Task Force 1 region 3 in south Texas....

Bolsonaro ran on the promise to rid Brazil leftist criminals. They demonized Dilma Rousseff and the rest of the parties fell to suspicion.
Dilma Rousseff lead "Worker's Party" and the Democratic Labour Party. These parties have been leading Brazil to prosperity and freedom since 1980. It is astounding the fall of their influence in the country and it began with the demonization of President Rousseff.
If she carried out reasons to impeach her, that is understandable, but, for entire parties to lose their standing in a democracy is highly worrisome.

Sao Paulo — Far-right congressman Jair Bolsonaro (click here) has won Brazil’s elections, taking an unassailable lead Sunday in the race for the South American nation’s presidency, as voters apparently looked past warnings that the brash former army captain would erode democracy and embraced a chance for radical change after years of turmoil.
With more than 92 percent of the votes counted, 55.6 percent supported Bolsonaro, compared to 44.4 percent for leftist Fernando Haddad of the Workers’ Party, according to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal. Final results were expected later Sunday.
After the results were announced supporters flooded the streets outside Bolsonaro’s home in Rio de Janeiro, letting off fireworks and waving Brazilian flags....
Does the description below sound familiar? Brazil has been the largest democracy in Brazil. I believe this movement to the right began after the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff. Bannon is another Manafort. He is working in foreign governments to elect right wing candidates.

The opposition to Bolsonaro, albeit nearly invisible to the people, state he will instill fasism. If country after country globally are falling into the same pattern there has to be a common reason. Russia probably is exposing people to hatred of each other in these movements, however, Bannon has been a frequent visitor in these elections. Bannon is a hate monger. It is easy for him to be successful where Russia has laid the foundation.

The nuclear nonsense with with Trump is because there is a UN policy proceeding to be policy by 2019.
It is my estimation that China while a permanent nuclear member of the UN Security Council, is pursuing the defeat of conventional weapons because it is the future of war.

The prize was announced in Oslo, Norway, on Friday morning. The committee praised ICAN for drawing attention to "the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of any use of nuclear weapons" and for "ground-breaking efforts" to ratify a treaty banning nuclear weapons.
Specifically, ICAN promotes the U.N.'s Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, a legally binding prohibition on nuclear weapons that is supported by over 100 countries.
The world's nuclear powers have not committed to the treaty.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee noted that any actual nuclear disarmament will depend on the participation of nuclear states, but praised ICAN's "inspiring and innovative support" for international negotiations....

"Steve Bannon, Bolshevik: May be Donald Trump's alt-right Svengali really is a Lenonist"
Steve Bannon, (click here) the former head of Breitbart News who is now President-elect Donald Trump’s bullshitter-in-chief — not an official title, although it should be — has been called many things in the past couple of weeks. According to many people who evidently don’t care for him, Bannon is a racist, a white supremacist or a white nationalist (which are not all the same thing), and may also be an anti-Semite and a misogynist. These epithets may or may not be accurate, but they strike me as giving off more heat than light. They provide very little information about what sort of person the incoming White House strategist might be, or what he might want.
According to the somewhat reliable testimony of writer Ronald Radosh, Bannon has embraced one unlikely “-ist” label. At a book party at Bannon’s Capitol Hill townhouse in November 2013, Radosh recounted in the Daily Beast, Donald Trump’s future Svengali referred to himself as a “Leninist.” We’ll get back to the details of Radosh’s account, but Bannon has not denied it, saying only he doesn’t remember the conversation. So let’s take Bannon at his word, sort of, or at least figure out what kind of Leninist he is. The parallels between the Trumpian mastermind and the man who shook the world are instructive, as are the differences....

In the days (click here) following the deadly protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, Attorney General Jeff Sessions spoke out against “racial bigotry” and “white supremacists” earlier ― and in stronger terms ― than his boss, the president of the United States.
Sessions unequivocally condemned Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan on Monday after a white nationalist rally turned violent on Saturday, leaving one person dead and at least 19 injured. Two state troopers also died after their helicopter crashed while they patrolled the area.
“Amazingly, Nazism remains alive, after all of the evil it has caused in the world,” Sessions said Monday on NBC’s “Today” morning show. “I think we take this seriously. We go after it morally, politically, legitimately ― in any way possible ― to reject this ideology that causes division and hatred in America. It’s just not part of our heritage.”
Sessions appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” minutes later and pledged that the Department of Justice would engage in “vigorous action” to protect U.S. citizens.
“It does meet the definition of domestic terrorism,” Sessions said in reference to James Alex Fields, a 20-year-old white nationalist, allegedly driving his car into a crowd of counterprotesters, killing 32-year-old Heather Heyer....
...AG Jeff Sessions is known to attend rallies of White Supremacists as a speaker. I would say perhaps he feels differently today since becoming the USA Attorney General, but, he spoke in recent time in California.
He is prosecuting the people that have committed crimes against those in the USA that believe violence and killing is an answer to their ideology. I am skeptical at the fact the MAGA Bomber is only charged with five crimes. There were 13 bombs delivered to some of the highest ranking members of the oppositional party to the Republicans; including two former Presidents and a Vice President, Cabinet Officer, First Lady, Attorney General, US House Representative and notable benefactors to humanitarian causes and the Democratic Party, one likes to assert his Freedom of Speech as a living citizen. Of those five crimes, there is a POTENTIAL of 58 years in prison. But, only a potential.
I worry about the people leading our country and their commitment to domestic peace and tranquility. I find the fact that while Steve Scalese was the recipient of a bullet from an another angry White Man, he also is a White Supremacist sympathizer and an attendee of European rallies. The bullet he received was random. He was not the target. It could have been any US Senator on the playing field. It is a serious offense none the less. There is no one to prosecute as the gunman is dead.
I fully expect the prosecutions of the criminals acting against innocent and notable Americans to feel the full weight of the law, without exception. Lady Liberty is blind to whom the perpetrator is or the crime, but, only adheres to the Rule of Law.
I don't like feeling as though there is any hesitation to charging criminals in the USA or it's interests abroad.
Besides these two crimes, there is the issue of an American citizen in Turkey in the Saudi Arabian consulate that was brutally murdered. I expect all those involved to receive the full weight of USA laws, including the Magnitsky Act. In recent statements coming out of Saudi leadership (Not the King), it was stated the world is reacting hysterically to the death of Jamal Khashoggi. If that is the way Saudi Arabia sees such a brutal death of a man simply trying to find his place in the new paradigm of his country as declared by the King; then so be it. Saudi Arabia needs to get used to the idea of a hysterical international community when it commits such atrocities.
I fully expect the USA Justice Department to do it's job and do it well. Political hate speech matters and those engaging it need to be held accountable. The Supreme Court seems to believe USA currency is used to express political speech and is considered equal to a citizen. The use of USA currency in POLITICAL HATE SPEECH is not exempt from laws when it contributes to domestic disharmony. Charlottesville was stated to be an act of Domestic Terrorism, I consider the MAGA Bomber and MAGA Assassin to be Domestic Terrorists.
This is a very unusual occurrence. Michael Moore's crew captured Sayoc on tape when filming his movie Fahrenheit 11/9.
From what I can gather from impressions of others, Sayoc was illiterate. The followers of Trump, even today, know what he tells them and not much more. When realizing the people Sayoc targeted, they were all in Trump's realm of insults, even Eric Holder.
The President should not embrace the anger of his followers. It is irrational and uninformed. When I observe a Trump rally, he first walks across the stage listening to the chants and then his words to them reflect the anger already in the room after they have waited for a tardy arrival. Trump is controlled by the crowd.

Here with our footage I can show you what he had actually become -- overdosed on steroids in what looks like some desperate attempt to hang on to what was left of his manhood. Men, people like Cesar have been led to believe, were and are under attack by the likes of Hillary and Michelle and all those "feminazis" who’ve had but one mission: political castration. The theft of power from the patriarchy that had been in place for 10,000 years. The end of men.
Here in this outtake from "Fahrenheit 11/9" is 3 minutes and 38 seconds of raw, unedited footage -- and you can see what Sayoc had become by early 2017, his body grossly deformed into what he thought a man should be, muscles the size of basketballs, he’s wearing a sleeveless white T-shirt, holding a big anti-CNN sign and, along with his fellow Trumpsters, is yelling at the journalists who had gathered in the media pen. You'll see him two or three times, each for a few seconds, but if you pause on him you will also see something profound. Underneath his threatening Hulk-like exterior, there is fear in his eyes and, for a quick moment, you can see he is already gone, a lost dog with no direction home....
There is sincere loss to the community in Pittsburgh by senseless and cowardly killings.

Two years ago, (click here) my father fell ill during a business trip in India, victimized by a gastrointestinal bug that strikes many travelers.
Alarmed and 8,000 miles from his Pittsburgh home, he called his doctor, Jerry Rabinowitz.
Dr. Rabinowitz, who practiced family medicine in a small, cozy office in Pittsburgh’s Bloomfield neighborhood, quickly returned the call.
My dad’s trip was far from over. He had to endure.
Dr. Rabinowitz called him on his cellphone daily for the remainder of my dad’s trip.
“He was genuinely concerned,” my father, Jerry Schmitt, told me. “He wanted to know what my symptoms were. He worked to calm me down. He called me — every day.”
I saw the name — Dr. Jerry Rabinowitz — Saturday night in a text message, while working at the Tribune-Review coordinating coverage of the mass shooting that morning inside a Squirrel Hill synagogue. He was there when a gunman stormed in and opened fire. He was dead.
The name hadn’t yet been officially confirmed. But I knew it was him....
These people were dearly loved by the community where they lived and worshipped. They were valued for their insight and wisdom. They contributed to the aesthetics of the life around them. The community was not truncated from the past for a vision of the future. These aren't just names, they were vastly loved and valued. Their loss is profound.

The chief medical examiner (click here) for Pennsylvania’s Allegheny County on Sunday released the names of the 11 people killed by a gunman at a Pittsburgh synagogue on Saturday in the deadliest attack against Jews in US history.
Dr. Karl Williams said the victims included a husband and wife, and two brothers. The youngest victim was 54 and the oldest, 97.

Places of worship must have locked doors, especially at times when people are known to gather. The access to these hatefilled morons is too easy. Bowers, Roof and others know they had easy access. Roof even went at time of study. Don’t compromise the faithful in the name of hope for possible conversions walking through the door. We lock our doors at home after we enter, why would the home where we find solace with God or a higher power be any different?
The mechanics of even securing a wooden door is not difficult. Any door to secure human life should have the proper placement of hardware. The safest door has impossibly strong hardware placed in the proper location in the door which is the center on one side with strong hinges on the other. It is physics that adds protection and not necessarily tensil strenght of big, heavy doors a 95 year old could never open. Physics, the quality of the nature of the world our Creators gave us is the best protector.
Door attendants are important when worshippers gather. Closed circuit camers can provide a view of those on the outside of a solid door and the approach as well. Reinforced glass doors provide optimal vision to whom approaches. Lighting as well for shadowed entries, evenings and nighttime movement of worshippers.
Why? Why the obstruction? TIME. And reaction. Law enforcement needs help to end the death tolls. The reaction of law enforcement is incredibly quick. It can’t be better. We need to help to protect life. Providing a physical obstruction to any assailant(s) wiil also carry alarm to those gathered and they can move to greater safety. The schools in the USA are required to have door reinforcements to every classroom, please take example to places of worship.

First, I think the Allegheny Medical Examiner’s office needs at least two Rabbis to work with them to move the forensics along to release the bodies for their final service. The community is familiar with body preparation to the final service as well. Perhaps the examiners office needs assistance from neighboring counties as time is important. Thank you.
This is going to sound bizarre, but, I caution federal law enforcement to think through the idea the gunman acted alone and this is not domestic terrorism. One of the last, if not the last statement on the gunman’s cyber account dismissed the patience being carried out by others in the community to exhibit an image to disguise their desires and at some point plans of mass killings to all those they hate.
The statement was, “Screw your optics, I am going in.” That is extremely telling of the entire community he is involved with and their aspirations. There are many more Bowers with private arsenal’s gearing up to carry out their long lived ideology. He is not a single individual acting alone. These actions followed attempted bombings of noteable political figures in this country. That is the peripheral members on edge to act.

Another, such as Dylan Roof has a particular affinity to hate African Americans and targeted a precious church. The two mass murders made choices to assault places of worship that are noteworthy among the greater community of worshipers. That is a methodology. While Bowers and Roof don’t know each other personally their aspirations to instill fear and loathing to a greater community of people through a common methodology begins to prove the ideology and it’s highly organized understanding to act to kill.
The White Supremist community, if you can call it that, is organized around hate. They have no other higher moral purpose or desire. Their ideology is hate based and seeks the goal of mass killings to achieve a genocide. That cannot or should be ignored.
Of course, this is a hate crime and Bowers should be charged criminally as such, but, it is also more, far more. It is time White Supremacists are seen for WHAT they are and that is a domestic group of killers waiting for an opportunity for victory to their ideology.

Trump is the leader of a parallel country, it is violent and it hears only him.
I want to add something about other Republicans following Trump's warrior example: During the Kavanaugh hearings Senator Grassley called Senator Feinstein, Senator Einstein. In other words, Senator Grassley stated, "Little Miss Know It All," under his breath and demeaned Senator Feinstein. That is a slight of a wonderful Senator that has brought morals and expertise to the Senate. I want it to stop.

Assaults by Donald Trump's supporters against protesters who exercised their constitutionally protected rights of free speech were a feature of his rallies.
Donald Trump, Republican leaders, Fox News and other parts of the right-wing echo chamber have endlessly slurred Bill and Hillary Clintons as monsters who hate America. Likewise, President Barack Obama has been depicted as a secret enemy, likely born overseas and possibly a Muslim, who hates America and was planning the country's downfall from within. Billionaire Democratic funder George Soros is portrayed as leading a left-wing plot against America and bankrolling all sorts of sinister activities. Given that Soros is Jewish and an immigrant from Hungary, his vilification by the far right and its media is consistent with anti-Semitic stereotypes straight out of "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion."
Between Monday and Thursday this week, at least 10 prominent Democrats or liberals who have criticized President Trump were targeted with mail bombs. So far the list includes Obama, Soros, the Clintons, Rep. Maxine Waters of California, former Vice President Joe Biden, former Attorney General Eric Holder, former CIA director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, along with actor and producer Robert De Niro....
I attended a Trump Rally ONLINE. I do that from time to time if I have spare moments, but, I usually only listen. This time I left comments and it turned out to be more than interesting. It touched me that I was received as well in this well honed online crowd. I received many supports. The "They can't read" stuff is definitely support for my position. I made seven comments and then could not deal with the hate coming from Trump's oral pharynx.
But, the return to my seven comments resulted in 55 responses of which 10 are above. Most comments were supportive, but, where they weren't their was anger and insults primarily.
Of all the responses I received I was most impressed at their ability to convey a clear understanding in only a few words. They were quick. These responses resulted from immediately to hours later. Most were immediate. These are smart folks. They know the situation and from what I wrote, comments to what I wrote and the other comments made other than any of mine, they are focused on a point of view they hold dear.
I will probably continue to comment now that I have a real feel for the dignity the online community holds between each other. There were no vulgarities. I would like that noted as well.

This is the deadliest attack on a Jewish Community in USA history. Today is Shabbat. The weekly Saturday service of the Hebrew faith. Shabbat is the seventh day of the week. The day of rest.
The skinhead knew what he was doing. He was prepared. He had his guns lined up in anticipation of using them someday. He engaged in a shootout with responding police officers and barricaded himself inside the building before surrendering. He is said to have been injured, and reportedly crawled toward police....
Trump thinks he has control of his hate speech. He doesn't. He is simply providing impetus to the White Supremacists. His leadership is inert to any idea that he can walk back the aggregation he provides to the White Supremacists in this country. Trump is providing a stage of PERMISSION to act. That goes for any "Dog Whistle Republican" as well. They don't have to give AN ORDER, it happens autonomously to the understanding of the White Supremacist community. They are always primed for the attack.

“HIAS (click here) likes to bring invaders in that kill our people,” Bowers wrote, referring to the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society. “I can’t sit by and watch my people get slaughtered.”
Bowers’s last line in the post: “Screw your optics, I’m going in.”
His since-deleted Gab account had in the bio: “jews are the children of satan. (john 8:44),” and, “the lord jesus Christ is come in the flesh.”...
The idea this White Supremacist is acting alone is wrong. He was on an internet website that supports this level of hate. Everyone on that same site are his friends. Right now, the White Supremacists in prison are counting their numbers and expecting a higher escalation of violence in the country. They are no different than the anti-abortion crowd. They are violent and they won't ever step down from THEIR LOYALTY to their beliefs.
The synagogues and African American churches are going to have to step up their security. It is a horrible idea because places of worship are supposed to be protected by God, but, God also expects the brains he gave human beings to work to their benefit when hatred is at all-time highs.
Places of worship need to lock their doors and provide ID cards with magnetic codes to allow MEMBERS into the building. I mean it. Get over it. There are memberships to places of worship for a reason and it isn't just for tithing. Worship is the center of spiritual life and is a community with common understanding. Sanctuary from everyday life.

The perpetrator entered the Tree of Life Congregation Synagogue and yelled 'All Jews must die,' according to KDKA, a local radio station.
An Israeli official confirmed it knows of eight casualties....
The White Supremacists are the ones the Kochs, the petroleum industry, coal industry empowers to vote with the RYAN FUND. This is a responsibility of the Supreme Court and the Citizens United decision. These are the folks they spend all their money on to propagate a vote to allow exploitation of the USA democracy. Take a good look America.
Eight people were already known dead when Trump defended the Gun Lobby by putting the blame on the synagogue. Eight dead and Trump is stating the lack fo ARMED GUARDS would have averted the tragedy. When are people going to see the indecency of this man and his party?

Washington – President Donald Trump (click here) responded to the shooting in Pittsburgh, which left at least eight dead inside a synagogue, by telling reporters that an armed guard could have prevented the tragedy before then announcing he would still hold his planned MAGA rally tonight in Illinois.
As Trump boarded Air Force 1 heading to Indianapolis, he told reporters he was monitoring the events unfolding near the Tree of Life Synagogue and said "something has to be done."
But, Trump rebuffed questions about whether now was the time to examine gun laws.
"This has little to do with it if you take a look," Trump said on gun laws. He continued, explaining armed guard could have prevented the tragedy....

Far-right extremists (click here) have ramped up an intimidating wave of anti-Semitic harassment against Jewish journalists, political candidates and others ahead of next month's U.S. midterm elections, according to a report released Friday by a Jewish civil rights group.
The Anti-Defamation League's report says its researchers analyzed more than 7.5 million Twitter messages from Aug. 31 to Sept. 17 and found nearly 30 percent of the accounts repeatedly tweeting derogatory terms about Jews appeared to be automated "bots."
But accounts controlled by real-life humans often mount the most "worrisome and harmful" anti-Semitic attacks, sometimes orchestrated by leaders of neo-Nazi or white nationalist groups, the researchers said....

New Hanover County -- The Cape Fear Fair and Expo (click here) will open a day late because of Friday’s threat of thunderstorms and possibly tornadoes, said Skip Watkins, the fair’s manager.
The Wilmington region was expected to see heavy rain from the remnants of Hurricane Willa, but the next several days are expected to be sunny, according to the National Weather Service.
“We’re looking to open up (Saturday) at noon, bright-eyed and bushy tailed,” said Watkins, who is also a New Hanover County commissioner....
The entries in the Fair are a bit sparse. It is stated the empty shelves and scarce farm animals on display are due to a lack of participation. Entries for the fair are down by 70 percent. That is a bit of a surprise. Some of the display animals are actually shelter animals for adoption. That is even more of a surprise. That reality is very worrisome to the idea there are significant numbers of farm livestock lost or stranded. This is a tough one. I think there is simply too much hardship these days and that leads to mental health issues.

Muncy’s walk-off homer in the bottom of the 18th inning gave the Los Angeles Dodgers a 3-2 victory in what was, by time, the longest game in World Series history. The homer saved a terrific effort by rookie starter Walker Buehler and ruined an outstanding relief outing by the Boston Red Sox’s Nathan Eovaldi.
Buehler was spectacular in the early part Game 3. The right-hander looked sharp from the start -- if not necessarily efficient. He struck out Mookie Betts and Xander Bogaerts while opening the game with a perfect first, but required 26 pitches to get through the inning -- an ominous sign for a pitcher who eclipsed the 100-pitch mark in only six of his 23 regular-season starts. But Buehler, whose fastball registered as high as 100.1 mph in the outing, made quicker work of the Boston lineup thereafter....
There are reasons why these confrontations occur and they are based in aggression by Israel or Israelis in many instances.

Islamic Jihad (click here) on Saturday took responsibility for the rocket fire from the Gaza Strip overnight and threatened further launches, as the Israeli military accused the Palestinian terror group of carrying out the attacks on behalf of Iran and Syria....
There were no Iranian and Syrian troops involved. The United Nations has a Small Arms Treaty. I suggest israel begin with that and move before the UN Security Council to record these incidents and begin investigations to violations by Iran and Syria in supplying small arms to militias in the region.

The Islamic Jihad (click here) announced Saturday that a cease-fire has been reached with Israel after a night of fighting. The Israel Defense Forces struck targets in Gaza overnight Friday, as a slew of rockets were fired in Israel's south. Five Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire earlier Friday in Gaza border protests, and another in the West Bank.
The cease-fire was brokered through Egypt, Islamic Jihad spokesman Daoud Shihab said. The Israel Air Force said it struck 95 targets Friday and Saturday, including 87 Hamas targets and eight Islamic Jihad. Thirty-six rockeEarts were launched at Israel's south.
According to an IDF spokesperson, dozens of fighter jets and other IDF aircrafts carried out the strikes in Gaza. Among the sites attacked were two major weapons manufacturing locations and five military compounds, as well as a building that serves Hamas' general security forces in Gaza City, according to the IDF....
Earlier this month a Palestinian woman was brutalized and she succumbed to that act. The stoning of the family in their car is stated to be a revenge attack. The problems arise because of the movement into Palestinian lands by Israeli settlers approved and sometimes not approved by Israel's government. The investigation of this incident will be conducted by Israeli police. They will completely ignore the fact these are SETTLERS VS PALESTINIANS. The investigators will concentrate on perpetrators and whether or not it was an aggravated incident.
This is what occurs and there needs to be an end to the aggression and hatred. At least Egypt is trying to end the killing. At least there is some movement to stop the loss of life. But, there needs to be a greater effort to end the conflicts altogether.
The USA is not seeking a peace, they are aggravating the situation by ending a Palestinian consulate and placing it in the basement of the new Israeli consulate in Jerusalem. The USA is being aggressive in it's own way and it is not helping the region whatsoever. At least Egypt is beginning to overcome these acts of violence to bring about stability and end the killing. No one should live like this; not Israelis, nor Palestinians. The USA needs to be helpful, not aggressive or dismissive to any act in this region which results in a movement toward peace and the protection of life.

A Palestinian woman (click here) has been killed after being struck in the head by a stone allegedly thrown by Israeli settlers.
Aisha Rabi, 48, was travelling with her husband and two daughters to their home in Bidya in the northern West Bank early on Saturday night when their vehicle was pelted with stones, a relative said.
Her cousin, Isam Rabi, said she was struck in the head and rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
He said her husband saw a small group of settlers nearby.
Israeli police have said they are investigating.
The area is near several ultra-nationalist Jewish settlements.
It had recently seen several attacks on Israelis, raising the possibility Ms Rabi was killed in a revenge attack.
Last Sunday, a Palestinian assailant killed two Israelis in a nearby settlement and on Thursday, a Palestinian man stabbed and wounded an Israeli soldier.
The Palestinians use the waters off Gaza to fish. There are Palestinian fishing boats. But, they are not allowed to move goods into or out of a harbor. The Isralis believe such movement of goods would result in movement of military armaments. That has been Israel's position for decades. This is 2018 and still today there is no hope for change to allow movement of goods in a Palestinian port. There must be answers to insure a greater peace, prosperity and a hope for both sides of this maintained hatred of each other.
The Trump White House through Jared Kushner is not doing anything productive except allowing old paradigms of aggression to march forward. It is refreshing to see Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife traveling to Middle Eastern neighbors to begin efforts of peace, cooperation and prosperity. The Prime Minister has started a new movement and that should continue until the region is peaceful, harmonious and propsperous again. Israel is losing land this week because there is little hope for peace and that is not a reasonable place for any government policy by Israel.
