A terrorist act is broadly defined as the calculated use of violence or the threat of violence to create a climate of fear and achieve political, religious, or ideological goals, often targeting civilians to instill widespread insecurity and influence decision-makers.

Being removed out of one's established life to be imprisoned for no reason is a violent act.

This act is having a profound effect on Green Card holders. That is one of the purposes of this mischief. Green Card holders are now looking at their status far differently and feel threatened. That is a terrorist act by President Donald Trump.

"I didn’t take him seriously. Clearly I was naive," said Abdalla, who is a U.S. citizen and pregnant with the couple's first child due next month.

Khalil, a 30-year-old with a green card, played a major role in pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University last year. Those protests helped the spread of similar action on campuses across the country.

According to a document seen by NBC News, President Donald Trump’s administration has said Khalil is "subject to removal from the United States."

"The Secretary of State has determined that your presence or activities in the United States would have serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States," that document said....

Federal employees are being relieved of their employment based in a LIE!

That is criminal. DoGE are criminal in their intent. It harms the USA Constitution, hence, the American people. Criminals do not belong in our federal government.

The group’s goal is to provide an arena where local constituents can voice whatever concerns they have about sweeping federal government changes since President Trump took office in January. But while Indivisible leaders say they’ve had productive conversations with Michigan Senators Gary Peters and Elissa Slotkin, they’ve been rebuffed by northern Michigan’s lone voice in the United States House of Representatives, Jack Bergman, who hasn’t held a single town hall in his district since 2017....

The Republicans have turned against the people of this country and the USA Constitution. Donald Trump is in office because he promised to carry out every aspect of ideology of MAGA and Project 2025. 

The American people need to hear these words clearly. 

Elon Musk is in violation. He must be held in Contempt of Congress. These people are criminals with criminal intent.

Really?

Russia sees the war (Putin calls it an incursion.) in Ukraine as having been started by Zelenskyy. Russia sees all the Ukrainian officials as human rights violators. 

Why? Well, Ukrainians in the eyes of Mother Russia, like any Post Soviet State, is disloyal to Putin. Therefore as special military operation is required to bring Ukrainians to heel.

Of course, being a human rights violator would never apply to Putin who has removed children from Ukraine to raise as Russians.

There are innocent Ukrainian people killed by Russian missile strikes as they waited at train stations to escape the violence. Killing them including Ukrainian children and infants has no meaning. It was an act of terror. Understand that as the truth. Russia committed an act of terror by killing unarmed, innocent people leaving for refuge in another country. The purpose was to stop innocent people from escaping Russia’s wrath. Putin wanted to make a prison of the entire of Ukraine. Putin is not only a murderer, he is a terrorist.

There is a warrant for Putin’s arrest and it must be honored in any peace proceedings.

Ukrainian blood is all over the hands of Vladimir Putin and he will never be washed clean.

The press in the room has not questioned Putin about his return to Syria. Interesting.

Pay Cut

Congress needs a 50 percent pay cut and an expense card with $1.00 balance. They may add money to the expense card for possible reimbursement if expenses proven necessary. 

This is a direct attack on the USA national defense.

While Trump is showing off his new set of wheels, Russia is rejoicing.

What else is there to say, except, today was Elon Musk’s big pay day.

Greenland had its elections.

Now, Greenland needs to rid itself of Trump pollution and begin work with Denmark to strengthen its best outcomes.

There may be human rights protections that need to be extended to Greenland regardless of its designation as a territory. Demands for independence occurs because there are unaddressed problems effecting quality of life. 

The Greenlanders should be considered for citizen rights. Greenland could become Denmark’s state rather than territory.

I look at the economic strength of Norway and perhaps Greenland can parallel that success to make the EU and NATO even stronger.

Double down on investment of high tariff countries

Trump exposed a weakness. It is never to occur again. The NATO alliance needs to be made stronger, not destroyed.

Countries being targeted by Trump for high tariffs should receive greater investment to build autonomy from relying on the USA economy. Canada and the European Union have populations capable of vibrant, domestic economies. Help them build autonomous economies and there will be profit. 

Trump touts America First while institutionalizing hubris and hate. That is not a basis for a good economy or a successful society.

There can be the exact same movement throughout the Free World saying Canada First, European Union First, etc. New investment success lies within the success of democracy, not the end of it. 

Canadians are staying home. There was a 20 percent drop in Canadian tourism in February. Twenty percent of Canadians did not cross into a once trusted neighbor. The USA is not only becoming a concern to Canadians, it is down right scary.

Mourning the loss of USA consumers in a profit structure isn’t a concern. An increasing number of Americans will be emigrating. These folks are consumers, too.

Reality orientation will never happen with Trump

Trump has created his own world. “Truth Social” is the new normal, except, it isn’t normal.

I remember hearing the words “new normal”

after the attacks of 911 and my gut reaction was one of nausea realizing there were rights of privacy being surrendered and in a way the terrorists had scored a victory. With each new discovery of terrorist activity, the shoes were put in the conveyor belt along with every carry on to prevent attacks on jets. Then the magnetometer was replaced by body scanners that allowed visualization of the body under clothing. 

That “new normal,” while injurious to privacy rights, was based in reality. Society and business still lived in the real world, but, a bit compromised. Compare that to today and the new normal Trump is chasing is based in lies. 

Elon Musk’s cars have been the focus of anger. I don’t know if any of the perpetrators have been caught, but, Teslas have been graffitied and even set on fire with Molotov cocktails. I am not going to voice an opinion here about it, except to say, “…it is a violation of law.” If I am going to stand up for the rule of law based in the truth then there are no exceptions.

But, since there is no cessation to these random acts of civil disobedience Trump and Elon put their heads together and decided everything would get better if Trump owned a Tesla. So, as a PR stunt, the two went on Truth Social and Musk gifted Trump a Tesla. Trump didn’t purchase one, it was gifted to him. If that wasn’t laughable enough, what were they thinking? Or the better question is, are they thinking?

I guess when issues are presented on Truth Social everything is magically transformed or something. It is a new normal, but, for who?

It seems as though Truth Social is “grievance media.” When Trump wants to complain he does so on Truth Social. Supposedly by Musk gifting a Tesla to Trump the value of the cars would be higher and all nasty attributes due to Musk’s wrong headed DoGE would vaporize. I don’t think that ideology is well founded. That magic isn’t real and the only ones walking through it believes it is real. 

The “new normal” Trump lives in is his alone to live in. A growing number of Americans are injured and/or disillusioned by Trump’s actions since taking office. As Trump World snowballs the less and less people will remain loyal to him. His ideology is one he created. It is not based in reality.

Follow?

Putin and Trump may see an ideological way forward, but, simply believing power brokering alone can create their perfect world is foolish. Trump’s new normal isn’t possible, but, he doesn’t know that because the media he uses is his own.

Putin isn’t encouraging Trump to go for the gusto because it will be good for the world, so much it is good for communists. Putin doesn’t care if the USA is destroyed along the ideological spectrum. I really think that is his goal. Basically, blowing smoke up Trump’s skirt is exactly the plan. The problem is that Trump is hugely vested in a strategy approved by Putin thinking it is the best outcome the world could hope for. Trump drank Kool-aid prepared by Putin and loves it. 

There is no waking Trump up and instilling patriotic norms. He has sold the farm and along with it the country he was elected to lead.

The longer Congress is patiently waiting for Trump’s methods to bloom into something ingeniously wonderful, the more damage to relationships with allies will be realized and a delicately balanced global economy will sink into disrepair it cannot recover from.

“Wait and see” will become, “what the heck happened here?”

The anger with Musk is not going to vaporize because Trump says do, and Trump’s extremism won’t make magic because Elon keeps throwing money and gifts at it.

There are far more serious problems in the world other than burning Tesla’s; like; arresting a Palestinian man legally in the USA and practicing freedom of speech in protest of a war where tens of thousands of Palestinians have died. The legally Green Card Palestinian man was carrying out a demonstration for real life reasons. He wasn’t in a fantasy. However, I am certain he is beginning to hope he wakes from his new nightmare soon.

We are headed down a black hole named Trump and Congress needs to wake up now and not wait until the next election. It will be too late.

The USA is in real trouble.

This aggression by Trump is ridiculousness. The government is moving in opposing directions. This nonsense is unsustainable. Congress is seeing very real reasons to fund this government, yet, Trump is attacking the USA economy to destroy it. In destroying the USA economy he destroys its tax base. We have real problems with the White House.

These tariffs will destroy the USA economy. It will make automobiles too costly for people to buy except for the very wealthy. This makes no sense.

Canada is our ally since the USA declared independence in 1776. Our allies are strong because of trade agreements. We don’t turn on our allies like this. Congress has to end the hatred oozing out of Trump’s White House.

There is no sustainable future for the USA currently on this path.

“Anora”

If folks are saying Anora, like Pretty Woman it is promoting prostitution, they are wrong. 

Anora is about broken lives and the reality some find themselves when life has failed them. No one wants their child to grow up to be a stripper. No matter the movie about women that use their nakedness to get by in the world there are always tradeoffs and sad realities.

Wasn’t Jennifer Lopez in a movie about stripping? 

But, as to Anora, there is not one character that lives a good life. Not one.

The film takes place with a twenty something that strips and allows men to touch her body in private booths otherwise known as lap dances. She makes money with the tips she receives. Of course, the men give her tips to encourage her nakedness and erotic movements.

With that understanding the film turns into a roller coaster ride with a young Russian man suffering from multiple substance abuses. The facilitator to the roller coaster ride is Russian Oligarch money.

The portrayal of the young son of a million-billionaire Russian is accurate. The property, the wealth, and the wild lifestyles some of the oligarchs live. If that seems unbelievable, then look up all the Russian real estate in the world while realizing governments like the UK would take them back as sovereign property in a heartbeat.

Ask young women who were taken for pleasure the kind of lives these Russian men live. Then when the oligarchs are finished with these young women recreationally they are turned loose to return to a life of poverty.

In Anora, the mother to the young Russian man is spot on. Beautiful women that rely on power to carry out their lavish lives. 

Anora actually believes she has found something wonderful and special in the young Russian when she consents to marry him. After the marriage a power struggle ensues and of course the wealthy parents win in the end spending money like water to return their arrogant social standards.

But, then what of Anora? The money she is paid in the end leaves her raw and vulnerable. The Russian man looking

after her safe return home, is not her usual client. He actually cared about her and the last scene where she cries in his arms with a broken heart clearly illustrates the pain of young women who find themselves simply a toy to wealth and power.

Anora is a great film if the viewer knows what they are looking at and seek the human side of the film rather than plugging into titillating sex scenes.

If one saw the film and “didn’t get it.” Then go back to see it again with new insights and judgement.

If Putin wanted to destroy the USA how would he do it?

Bill Gates started out in a garage. Microsoft may just end up back there. 

Don’t expect Trump to understand Wall Street. He is a technician, not a programmer of the right wing extremists. 

People in Israel are calling Trump more patriotic than Netanyahu because he appears to care more about the hostages. At the same time Trump is arresting a Palestinian that exerted freedom of speech on Columbia’s campus at the same time he is cutting off funding to Columbia.

There is no clear path forward. Trump is following Project 2025 and Elon Musk who is having his rockets explode regularly.

Wall Street knows a lot of their business directly or indirectly depends on the USA treasury and the policies of governments globally. Can the next Great Depression be far away?

Disastrous outcomes

When the petroleum industry enters a country there are disastrous outcomes for citizens. This is real and can be found today with at least two examples in Ecuador and Nigeria. 

In Nigeria the impacts exceeded environmental degradation, it also destroyed their society causing greed, corruption, and violence.

The Niger Delta oil exploitation initially caused a change in the government structure of Nigeria. The oil industry drilling was met with citizens attacking oil workers (which were brought by the company) and attacks of the oil rigs. As a result the government turned against their own citizens as the elite were bought, as a result casting the citizens into poverty and imprisonment.

The sadness of the citizen tragedy didn’t stop there. As it became obvious the government would do nothing to stop the air and water pollution resulting in the loss of food from coastal waters and inland rivers, the people were left little alternative but to harvest wasted oil floating in the water and scarring their land.

In order to sell the harvested oil the Nigerians developed crude processing technics that immersed human labor in oil making them ill, and causing chronic disease no different that what occurred in Ecuador.

Children in both these countries suffered from birth defects and disease. The women experienced miscarriages due to exposure to toxins.

These tragedies expose the petroleum industry for what it is, ruthless, much like the USA president that promises them the moon while destroying the living atmospheres of Earth.

Ecuador not only saw huge increases in cancer, but, the beauty and the land are irretrievably damaged. They lost habitat and any chance for the land to be used productively again.

Elections tomorrow in Greenland.

It expands the borders of a madman in the White House. Don’t do it. It puts Trump and Russia nearer to Europe and begins to cut off Canada on its east coast with Russia on the west coast.

Greenland has no autonomous military which would have to be established before any election. With such a small population it would have a militarized state police force similar to Jamaica. That means arming Greenland with weapons of war. The entire domestic picture would change.

For as much as Greenlanders want independence they should approach it with caution. Their independence will be traumatized by commercial interest by the petroleum industry. 

Trump doesn’t care about their blissful lives and beautiful country. He will seek control for exploitation. Their beautiful country will be scattered with invasion of commercial enterprise that will suck them dry and abandon them when profits dry up.

The children will not be better educated. Their elderly will not be more comfortable. Their health care will not improve. Their naivety will be exploited and that happy little country will no longer be at peace. 

More of the same Trump lawlessness.

This could be anyone. There is no respect for the Rule of Law. This is a hate based Executive Branch that uses power as a domestic tool to its goals. Everyone needs to fight this.

This is a direct assault on Habeas Corpus and Freedom of Speech.

Once detained what is next? Guantanamo? Or worse? Once people disappear it is to late to protect their life.

ICE didn’t decide this. It more than likely came from those targeting Columbia University. I can’t help to think this is Musk. He would have enough clout to lean on the top of the food chain at ICE.

ICE should require a court ordered warrant going forward. They are more than police enforcing the law. They run raids. They know who they are targeting, hence, a warrant requirement is reasonable. Using ICE to round up people without court permission has to stop. The cost of legal proceedings is prohibitive for most people.

This arrest is over the top. ICE needs guidance to their activities. A judicial warrant would prevent costly mistakes and prohibit abuse.

Proper clearance of warrants by ICE does not require public exposure. The FISA process is probably open to ICE as well.

Congress can establish a dedicated process and court for ICE to prevent lawless apprehension.

No sovereign power, oligarchs, or billionaires…

…should be interfering in Romanian elections. Romania’s people are completely capable of conducting their own governance and elections.

The Romanian elections belong to the citizens of Romania, not a bunch of communists. Communism and plutocrats have very similar character traits, they want control regardless of the impact and abuse of those that rightfully should have control of their futures.

Plutocrats actually do believe they are filthy rich because they are wiser. 

Not the case at all. The chaos throughout the federal government today has a purpose and it has nothing to do with government efficiency. DoGE is a distraction.

Musk bought Trump into the presidency of the USA to end all those investigations of him.

And Trump? 

Why did he encourage Musk’s dreamscape to purchase the presidency for him? All one has to do is look at the corruption occurring within the USA DOJ and know the answer to that question. Bondi is systematically disarming every investigation, criminal indictment, and criminal trial of Trump as fast as she can while holding the bright, shiny object of tabloid curiosity for Jeffery Epstein’s death while screaming cover-up.

The USA executive branch is reeking of racketeering. Certainly Romania wants nothing to do with such interference in their elections.
