The UK Royal Family

It is rather disturbing there are two members of the British Royal Family diagnosed with an abdominal cancer. Now we learn the King has pancreatic cancer. That is a very scary diagnosis. It is, on occasion treated with the Whipple Procedure (click here). It is a complicated and delicate surgery that once survived is a cure and not just a treatment.

The King with his advanced age is probably too high a risk for the surgery. That said, the only real risk factor is his age. I don’t recall a mention of a history of pancreatitis which can be a contributing factor. Considering all the issues that can accompany this diagnosis it seems prudent King Charles abdicate to William as soon as possible and act as a counselor to his son. I remind, the Late Queen Elizabeth took the thrown at a very early age. I can’t imagine Prince William is not up to it.

This entry is not for reasons of gossip so much as concern. With very few risk factors in the King’s life and thinking his age is his primary pre-condition I can’t help believe there is some worry for environmental factors. The buildings the family lives in are very old with questionable ventilation systems. It is my opinion the environment, including food and water, the Royals find themselves needs to be investigated for toxins and cancer risk factors. Start with the children’s environmental exposure to secure their safety and then continue to process the remaining areas. 

Since Princess Ann has taken on more royal duties due to the delicate nature of the King, her well being and environmental exposure should also be considered a high priority.

I wish them all well. William really needs to take the thrown. It is very unfortunate this is happening to them.

The Baltimore Key Bridge

The complexity of the deconstruction of the collapsed Key Bridge can’t be clearly understood. There will be surprises discovered by the deconstruction teams all the time. The need for safety can’t be understated.

The “dynamics” at play are pressure, not just water pressure with depth, but, the “boing” tension in the debris, including very sharp metal is present.

This is a deconstruction site, not a construction site. Normally construction sites are controlled by KNOWN dynamics of large pieces of steel and concrete. While accidents occur at construction sites, there is a degree of control that exists that does not exist with the collapsed Key Bridge.

The debris field of the Key Bridge is extremely large and within a fast flowing river. There are all kinds of fluid physics at play.

The people working in this debris field should be afforded all measures of safety simply because as the debris is moved high amounts of energy can be released with that movement. All that potential and kinetic and positional energy can cause deaths if mistaken judgement is made. 

This is a highly dangerous work environment and the experts involved need to be fully in charge of all the work being conducted. To realize how dangerous this work area is, is to realize the degree of expertise brought to bear.

I wish everyone without exception the greatest degree of safety and success.

The deconstruction site can be a tourist attraction AT A SAFE DISTANCE as determined by the engineers involved. School children can marvel at the size of “the big cranes.” The workers can be glamorous people deserving admiration.

I have no doubt the loss of life will be a previous reality of the story if this bridge. It is history.

Hate Crime

Displaying a violent message in any form on the tailgate of a pickup truck is a hate crime. Due to a hateful display of President Joe Biden on a pickup truck the danger to his life has increased. The hateful display is being promoted by Donald Trump.

All involved, including the owner of the truck, the artist that composed the hateful image, and Trump the promoter are all guilty of this assault of the hate and violence display.

This is more of the same violence exhibited and experienced by the country on January 6, 2021. I remind there was a gallows on the lawn of the U.S. Capitol. The gallows was not an art display.

Gaza will never belong to Palestine alone.

The demonstrators throughout the world aren’t just calling for safety for innocent Palestinians, they want the IDF to leave Gaza. That is not possible. I have stated it before.

There needs to be movement to secure Palestine under the PA because it is not capable of protecting innocent people from the danger of terrorist networks backed by Iran. Iran provides incredible munitions to terrorists and the PA can’t compete.

The PA was established a long time ago to provide governance to the people. Nearly as soon as the PA was established Hamas manifested in Gaza. It has been nothing but a nightmare since. Hamas, over time, was normalized and it is this return to instability and human shields that the demonstrators are demanding if they realize it or not.

Let me be clear, Iran will not stop its terrorist networks in Gaza. The PA is not capable of stability in Gaza with that chronic assault by Iran. There is absolutely no way Palestine will ever be capable of warding off Iran’s plans for that strip of land. There must be a co-governance with Gaza and the IDF and Israel. There is no alternative. Iran is a far stronger country than Palestine. Iran covets that land because of its proximity to Israel. Nothing more needs to be said or understood.

A demonstrator that wants things as it was in Gaza, backs terrorists and Palestinians as human shields and not a stable society for innocent people.

Trump’s funeral attendance is a lie, too.

One of the reasons I have cited over and over to regulate guns is because the danger increases for law enforcement. Officer Jonathan Diller was shot. Case in point. His death isn’t about crime because the crime rate is down in the USA. His death is about guns.

Baltimore Bridge Liability

Limitations of Liability Act of 1851 (click here). This citation is of a private firm familiar with the law. It is interesting because this maritime law does not completely dismiss the ship owners’ liability. The poor condition and what the owners knew have to be part of the legal procedure called “discovery.” 

There is no doubt this process of repayment of damages will take some time, but, not forever. This has not risen to a criminal issue yet. Any recklessness will trigger criminal charges. In other words, if the ship failure was due to negligence of known problems that brings in criminal law.

The procedural records of this company will have to be disclosed as well. Said differently if the owners have procedures that insulate them from knowledge of such dangerous operating problems then they may be liable anyway because their vigilance of the ship’s repairs and maintenance were dismissed.

President Biden is correct in pursuing funding for the port and rebuilding of the bridge. Being paid for the damages will take time. The port and US economy can’t wait forever.

It appears to me the first item on a long list of projects is clearing a path to allow the ships trapped in the port to leave. Once that occurs then the function of the port will be vital. 

The current debris field is extensive and difficult. In order to remove the bridge collapsed on the ship may need deconstruction of the bridge, including cutting it into pieces. It is a slow process. But, the Dali cannot be refloated until the bridge debris is removed.

This is an accident as we understand it currently, but, clearing the debris, refloating the ship, and returning function to the port is very important. It should begin as soon as possible. The timeline currently is Spring and Summer with better weather than Autumn and Winter. 

In this, which is extremely important, is to find the missing workers. The families require respect for their loss and grieving. Deconstructing the bridge over the ship can be conducted at the same time the debris field where the construction workers and vehicles are believed to be. There can be several teams working at the same time so long as there are high safety standards and the teams aren’t running into each other. The work requires oversight of an engineering firm with excellent reputations of safety standards. 

I am quite certain the U.S. Army Corp will be involved especially in dredging. The Army Corp has extensive records on the river. They are also required to maintain these records as a practice of the public trust. They are very used to working with private and public corporations to complete projects.

Putin’s propaganda

Ukraine has made incredible progress over the years this illegal war by Russia has existed. The people don’t want to surrender as their love of freedom exceeds the fear of Putin.

The winning of the war by Ukraine has not fallen off even in the face of casualties. Putin is far from successful. These days the only place Russia appears victorious is when Ukraine’s military pulls out of one area of the war theater in order to strengthen their war theater elsewhere.

The propaganda is an attempt to weaken the politics of the Free World. A good example is Germany’s far right politics (click here). Disrupting elections in the Free World seems to be Putin’s only hope. 

Vladimir Putin has lost control of Russia internally and he has only himself to thank. His continued occupation of the Russian presidency due to rigged elections was not met with complacency by the Russian people but more demonstrations and unrest. The added allowance of the terrorists’ attack domestically only cements the idea that he has no real control so much as the politics of fear.

I have the greatest sympathy for Ukraine, its corruption free leaders, and its NATO neighbors. Russia is unhinged as demonstrated by incursions into Poland’s airspace. Brinkmanship with hopes for expansionism is Putin’s great hope now.

It is wrong to place restrictions on Ukraine. It will expand its power as there are investments into Ukraine military factories. No one seems to appreciate the talent of Ukraine’s military manufacturers. Ukraine was, for a very long time, the very backbone of a Russian military. It now has its own borders to protect. Nothing should get in the way of the people’s success.

There is more evidence that Russian occupation of Crimea is illegal. In order to justify the occupation the Russian Duma is saying a 70 year old document defining Ukraine’s borders is illegal. This document clearly defines the sovereign country of Ukraine which includes Crimea. The Ukrainian military has been defending it’s legal border with Crimea, not seeking to invade Russian territory. This occupation after the removal of the corrupt Yanukovych is very illegal. 

Ukraine deserves strong, loyal Free World allies with all the help they can supply. So much good was accomplished by Ukraine prior to the Russian invasion it would be a profound loss to simply end support now. 

The Georgia Bar…

…should review the incompetence of Trump’s minion lawyers. These lawyers have a profound lack of knowledge of USA criminal law while claiming they are good defense lawyers. They are not. They are practicing enablement of crime. They are as much a participant to RICO as Trump.

Minion Lawyers…

…are on full display in Georgia. The Trump minion lawyers are trying to turn “criminal speech” into political speech and hence protected by the First Amendment. All speech, even criminal speech is protected by the first amendment. The First Amendment does not provide coverage of innocence for criminal speech.

Criminal speech is vital to gangland obedience  (click here). The key word is conspiracy. How does a conspiracy exert its needed organization? Through speech be it verbal, inference, or written.

We know that Trump uses speech in bringing about a hostile business environment as witnessed in the intimidation of Anheuser-Busch and the blue canned beers. So, the minion lawyers are trying to redefine the criminal act by Trump as freedom of speech. No one inhibited Trump’s criminal pleadings to “find votes” as he realized those would be fictitious votes that actually were not cast or cast for other candidates.

Trump’s suggestive pleadings to find votes was more than speech. If one boils down those words Trump is asking for a physical act to be carried out by others to benefit him. If the Georgia authorities actually changed votes or “found” votes (called ballot box stuffing) there would no doubt a challenge would be filed to that revelation. Hence, a recount would ensue and the fraud would have to exist in a physical and/or electronic signature. Trump’s words would then have a physical presence and ensnared many more people than just him.

The Rule of Law works and is completely evident in the Trump trials.

(Click here) Providing a security detail for Trump’s trial judges and family seem the easiest part of this. The cost of these measures need to be added to all the fines Trump is taking up. 

The real challenge is protecting the jury pool. I remember how police have to work harder to protect even witnesses during gangland trials. Well. Trump’s trials are the same as those gangland trials.

Of course, Trump breaks the law for his own purposes. Those purposes include attempts to prolong the trial process for reasons to appeal and appeal and appeal.

But.

What about the jury pool?

I sincerely believe Trump should be placed in prison ahead of even the mailings for jury recruitment. Juries should not be threatened by the defendants. Since, Trump has clearly demonstrated his defiance to our judicial process and the authorities that ensure a free and fair trial (with or without his lawyers instigation) imprisoning him without any media or public contact should be viewed as appropriate. Trump can also be held responsible for those prison costs so the people carry no burden or inhibitions to the best outcome for juror security.

Look, he is asking for it. Immunity or not his compliance is a separate issue and requires an effective answer. Trump or any of his minion lawyers are not above the law. Immunity does not apply to open assault of our criminal processes. 

Prostitution is legal in Mexico. Prostitution of anyone under the age of 18 is illegal.

F. E.C. doesn’t even discuss PACs.

(Click here) The FEC discusses individual contributions, but, not political action committees. The PAC phenomenon became popular while “W” was running for office. All of a sudden the IRS code of 501(c)4 became a focus for political issues. I want to stress the idea of issues.

What is curious is the use by Trump of a SuperPac funding his lawyers. Trump’s lawyers do not qualify for the SuperPAC designation.

The IRS code for these SuperPACs clearly states the organization cannot claim it is non-profit. It has to exist for profit. But, the definition doesn’t stop there. The IRS clearly states “must be operated exclusively to promote social welfare.” Trump’s legal fees are not social issues, they are personal costs.

There is also the PROBLEM that Trump’s family is stating any donation should first go to the RNC and then the SuperPAC. The family in promoting donations are not delineating separation of interest between the two entities. Follow?

The F.E.C. may have authority to request clarification of the two organizations and what their purposes are making one exclusively non-profit political organization and one for profit for a social issue. It seems very clear the Trump family is not treating either organization as an exclusive organization so much as two organizations for one purpose and that is Trump’s legal fees. I am fairly certain there is fraud by the Trump family in the treatment of both organizations as the organizations are achieving political donations beyond the FEC limit.

This maybe fall to the D.O.J., however it appears any investigation is most likely within the authority of the IRS. Given the egregious nature of the Trump family and a continued interest for promoting political domination of American elections to instill communism in the USA rather than democracy and the free market system an urgent investigation is needed. There is a lot wrong here and the IRS with possibly the FBI should treat this fraud urgently.

I sincerely believe in Israel’s resolve. I would be very surprised if Secretary Austin seeks to change the plans by Israel to end terrorist networks. Hamas has extensive support from Iran’s terrorist networks. There is also a profound lesson in the allowed ISIS attack in Moscow.

I believe the only difference that exists with Israel and the USA is the effort to end the danger to Palestinian civilians. The USA has to have Israel’s cooperation in ATTEMPTING any humanitarian mission. The one element not at that table is Hamas. Hamas is using every humanitarian effort to their favor in leveraging advantages over Israel.

It is a real quandary to me why Americans think the USA has to end the war declared by Israel. This is NOT a unilateral war. This war was declared in DEFENSE of Israel. It is not  Israel’s fault Palestinians are in the line of fire. Hamas is not interested in the Palestinians. Hamas is interested in killing Israelis and any other allies of Israel. Iran and Hamas and their allie don’t care who in the Free World dies. Please get that right! Hamas DELIBERATELY put Palestinians in the line of fire. Israel hasn’t used humans as shields.

Because Hamas and their allies don’t care about the Palestinians does not excuse the death of innocent people, but, it is really difficult to keep them alive and achieve the goals of a war no one asked for.

It is my hopes that Secretary Austin can find a way to address the humanitarian needs of the Palestinians. Israel has to agree. Israel will not compromise its gains and steady movement toward their goals. Again, there are parties, terrorist networks, that will not cooperate and create problems in administering these efforts. This is a near impossible goal by the USA with Israel.

I am sure Secretary Austin will find a way. He needs the support of Americans even through any problems and/or failures. Ending the war is not an option. The USA has national security issues with these terrorist networks even at near borders. Hamas opened Pandora's Box and they are not interested in putting the lid back on.

I wish both these defense authorities the best outcome with good efforts to have Palestinians understand their loyalties lie with the Free World and not Hamas.

The video at “Voice Of America” covers more time before the accident. It is a difficult video to watch knowing what is coming. There were definitely cars and a semi-truck traversing the bridge that made it to safety off the bridge. 

It appears the construction crew was near the second pile (click here) exhibited by flashing lights. The pile opposite of the crushed piling by the boat. The missing construction crew is most likely found nearer that area of the river, also providing for a strong river water flow. Cranes have to be put in place to move massive and heavy debris. Those cranes have to be found and moved into place atop an artificial island. This doesn’t happen immediately. Normally extensive plans exist before the cranes are moved into place when construction occurs.

This is so bizarre and tragic. Construction works carrying out the public interest are vital to everyone’s best interest. Americans came to appreciate public workers when the trauma of September 11th occurred. They were vital and fearless members of our society seeking to saves lives that horrible day. My sincerest sympathies for these lost workers’ families and friends. This is a traumatic loss for the country as well as the city. These families should receive support to help adjust to their loss. I wish them all peace. Their loved ones are heroes for their important work.

Every American knows President Biden’s faith. Most Americans believe the choice of faith or no-faith is a privacy issue. Evangelical practice is not practiced by the majority of Americans, yet, they make headlines because money has come to impact politics and power in the USA. The point is persons such as President Biden should feel free to talk about God. Not in excess as there are so many other policy issues that need discussion, but, the political platform currently has a few voices when it comes to religion.

I find that most religious folks have a favorite or family bible. It would be helpful if President Biden and First Lady Jill would balance abusive hawking of the Bible by presenting the affection that exists for personal bibles, family bibles, and the place for the good book in display in a home. 

The Bible has become a political tool rather than a personal choice. It is very, very wrong to blur the line between church and state. It would be helpful if that balance was restored.

As a side note, the Golden Sneaker was one of the items touted by Gorbachev’s glasnost and perestroika. The Russian Golden Sneaker was a huge flop in marketing.

The EPA needs to assess the Patapsco River.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed into the Patapsco River. There is no doubt the sediment contamination is off the scale. The Army Corp will have to remove all that concrete sediment, too.

There needs to be engineers looking at the port, ship movement, river, watershed, and where and how a bridge makes sense. The …Scott bridge was an attractive bridge but ships are different today from the time the bridge was built.

The President made a good point. The roadway and bridge were an interstate hwy. I-695. There is a federal responsibility to restore the transportation highway.

No doubt the owners of the ship are going to see proceedings to the liability they hold. I don’t know if Singapore holds financial responsibility so much as simply information for a flag ship. 

Secretary Buttigieg has his hands full, He was in Rhode Island about the 1-95 bridge.

Erin Hawley is the spouse of “January 6th” Hawley.

Ya know, the placenta can be a real bitch, too. The placenta is considered an organ. Does that mean the delivery of the placenta is illegal harvesting of an organ? How dare a woman expel only partially the placenta. Maybe women shouldn’t expel it at all. I suppose women need doctors, especially in healthcare deserts. Go figure. 

There is no integrity to Hawley’s ideas. This is nothing but political nonsense. She wants to bring every American woman to the low expectations of life that her clients embrace.

The Republicans need to trfund the money of the Evangelicals. 

Ya know, just to make it right. I mean. A dictatorship, really? That is what Hawley is asking for. She wants to change every American woman’s life to her standards. The Hawleys need a life. Seriously. 

I don’t know about healthcare deserts, but, most American women care read the “consent for procedure.” Those consents are required to discuss potential harm. Honestly, this is nothing but pathetic.

Major infrastructure loss.

The entire length of the Francis Scott Key bridge and roadway needs to be shut down until engineers can determine any damage due to transmitted vibrations with the collapse. 

Route all traffic away from the area. The port isn’t going to be usable until any and all rescue is conducted. It is going to be awhile. This is a tragedy to many people as well as the country, but, the immediate safety issues have to be addressed. A full complement of emergency workers are not readily available at this hour. 

Baltimore may need help from surrounding towns and cities. This is a major infrastructure tragedy. Route ship traffic away from the waterway.
