Sexual harassment is a cultural issue.

Individuals bring such harassment to the work place, but, it is definitely a cultural issue. Even Ivanka has stated it is difficult to remove the harassment from the work place completely, especially when it occurs on construction sites. 

I think the American woman is looking for a larger picture answer to this sincere dilemma for them. I am sure Ivanka would love it if she could cross a construction site without the harassment. That is what American women are looking for in their candidates.

How does the American woman defeat the culture that is not gratifying to them. The women that embrace the Wolf Howl or Whistle are in a very small minority. It needs to stop and the only way it will stop is by other men to be intolerant to the lack of respect.

I like Eric Trump and his loyalty to his father. He has withstood death threats to be at his father's side. He still needs to do his homework on sexual harassment in our culture.

The African American community is in crisis, especially in Baltimore. Using social media during confrontation with police does not insure life.

It is a false sense of security. So were the guns. Here we are again with powerful guns in the home and a danger to others. As a rule social media delivers testimony to the event. I have yet to witness social media being a faciliator to the end of any police action.

 

There is an understanding to the confrontation between police and Korryn Shandawn, but, there is no understanding to the reason they were there except to serve a warrant as she didn't appear in court. What was the reason she was suppose to be in court?

Police said officers fatally shot Korryn Shandawn Gaines, 23, who repeatedly threatened officers with a long gun.

What is the cause? The triple seven is beginning to show trends that cannot be ignored.

Boeing needs to define whether it's markets cause issues with it's reputation due to potential use of jets for political reasons and or the maintenance is not what it should be due to unsophisticated mechanics. But, this is an Emirates jet, the idea this is due to poor maintenance issues really doesn't sound right.

The Boeing 777 made it's debut in 1995. It relies heavily on computers. Jets usually have a longer life than that, however, there have to be questions about it's durability as the largest jet in the skies with a capacity of over 300 people.

An Emirates Airline flight (click here) from India caught fire after making an emergency landing at Dubai International Airport on Wednesday, but all 300 passengers and crew escaped from the burning fuselage, authorities said.
Video purportedly showed a tower of flame bursting from the front of the aircraft, and then a thick black plume of smoke rising into the sky. Reuters was unable to verify the footage independently.
Photographs posted on social media showed a plane lying crumpled on its belly on the tarmac with black smoke pouring from its upper section.
A spokesperson for operator Dubai Airports said all passengers and crew aboard flight EK521 coming from Thiruvananthapuram had been evacuated and emergency services were managing the situation.
A man waiting for relatives who were on the flight said he had spoken to them by phone. "They said they're safe and alright, but that they felt a great panic as the plane was on fire. I'll be comfortable when I see they are safe.

With any failed state the United Nations has a strong role to find a power sharing agreement to end instability that breeds Daesh.

Opportunity for terrorists in Libya existed long before the USA and France ended the slaughter of people in eastern Libya. The Libyan civil war existed before Qaddafi rolled tanks across the northern desert. Americans were evacuated from the Libyan capital of Tripoli before The West began it's bombing.

Tripoli was a safe place because Qaddafi lived there. When eastern Libya became an irritation the tanks were employed to kill no matter how many civilians were in their sights.

Today, Libya remains a challenge to stabilize. As the Arab Spring turns into stabilized governments there is less and less land available for invasions of international criminals such as Daesh.

President Obama has brought the global community to one table to protect sovereignty from internal instability by Daesh, unfortunately, Libya has no successful leadership to carry out the same sovereign stability as the rest of the world. I am quite certain there is an UN Resolution regarding Libya. That needs to be drawn upon to continue to build stability in Libya. 

A country does not become unstable overnight and bringing in new authority is all that much more difficult. If the current Libyan leadership needs assistance in defeating a toxic terrorist group I am sure the global community has no objection for the USA to enter the fray one more time in Libya. The United Nation's Security Council has it's work cut out for it. Keeping a lid on citizen's deaths is paramount to end illegal and immoral invasions.

The American military (click here) this week began bombing Islamic State targets in Libya, opening another front in its war against the terrorist group. The campaign was launched to help Libyan fighters allied with the country’s fledgling, internationally recognized government rout the Islamic State from Surt, a coastal city that, since 2014, has served as a base for ISIS’ efforts to establish a franchise in Libya.

Given the country’s fractured politics and the messy amalgam of militias born of the 2011 civil war, in which the United States played a key role, the Obama administration has long been hesitant to re-engage militarily. Still, American officials grew concerned as the Islamic State made quick inroads along Libya’s coast, enforcing draconian social laws and carrying out brutal executions. In recent weeks, militias aligned with the government have made significant progress in taking back territory from ISIS. But they were incurring heavy casualties, which led Libya’s prime minister, Fayez Serraj, to ask the United States to help with airstrikes....

Governor Rick Scott today criticised the US Republican Congress in ignoring it's responsibility in funding the fight against Zika. President Obama did his job in providing the needed structure to defeat this virus in the USA, BUT, Republicans ignored his work and went on vacation. Hopefully, the USA Republican Congress persons aren't bitten by a mosquito infected with Zika in their southern RED STATES. 

Trump got the message, but, remains 'on the outs' with establishment Republicans. Maybe that is the problem after all, Trump is a Republican willing to ACT to improve the quality of life of Americans.
 

This is a really silly political commercial.

Hillary Clinton is correct in her statements about outsourcing. Republicans have no interest in protecting American jobs. I would think the "W" administration was the best example of that. Those looking for work in 2 to 3 jobs were lucky to live in the USA where those jobs existed. Bush was no more interested in protecting American jobs than the "Man in the Moon." He liked to pretend most Americans missed the boat to build a Wall Street portfolio and enjoying "The Good Life." If anyone in the political landscape is laughable when it comes to succeeding with Wall Street it is "W." His three bankrupt petroleum companies are testament to what amounts to 'a real wise guy' to point to others as having 'missed the boat.'

But, in this video Hillary Clinton clearly states the USA government missed the boat when it did not invest in new technologies and business fronts. She is correct.

The USA's local economies have been the one place where economic stability exists and after 2008 the local economies have been the champion of the country. The local economies did and continues to do all the heavy lifting for the USA economy. The local economies have come under attack within it's own sovereign borders by the TPP. The TPP is one of the most toxic trade agreements to date. It has to be stopped before it begins. The really tragic part of the TPP is that the US Congress actually WANTS to defeat the local economy to benefit Wall Street. The Republicans and President Obama have been economic champions for Wall Street in this Trade Agreement.

The political focus is how Hillary Clinton guarantees outsourcing. She isn't guaranteeing anything because the USA Congress Republicans will act against a successful local economy wherever it can. Guaranteeing outsourcing is exactly what exists in the USA today because of Republicans and their profound lack of economic prowess. The USA Republicans 'have no clue' about what is an economy, they simple scream deregulation IN HOPES Wall Street will take advantage of it.

Divesting American citizens of their jobs is not an economic strategy, it is profound and entrenched corruption through Republicans that facilitate it with monies paid by Wall Street through "Citizens United."

Hillary Clinton's words in this film loop is correct. She speaks no evil, she states the truth and the blatant attack by the US Congress on American citizens. 

The USA media is completely befuddled by Donald Trump. FOX is using a "Wheel of Fortune" to find THE STATEMENT that will stick to the wall. MSNBC is insisting the RNC find Donald Trump incompetent. At least CNN is departing from the attempts to find a statement that sticks and actually is reporting the news. WOW, that is switch.

There is no reason to look for THE DEFINITIVE statement that will sink Donald Trump because it will change in the next 60 seconds.

The New York Times has an article about a central intelligence effort by Daesh. It has been known there is a "Charasmatic Daesh" since it's first KNOWN existence, so this article confirms it.

I had stated early on with Daesh, NATO has a real concern in Europe. There is no reason to expand the mission for NATO while a profound danger exists there.

The idea Daesh is a sovereign authority is way off base. It is a terrorist organization that seeks to destabilize sovereign governments. Daesh is not governed as a sovereign authority, it is governed as a terrorist theocracy. The beginnings of Daesh started in 2003 with the invasion into Iraq. The Ba'athists migrated to Syria and set up housekeeping no different than al Qaeda in Afghanistan among the Taliban.

Daesh does not have the range it claims into Iraq either. The reason Daesh exists at all in Anbar is to save lives until it can be defeated. Claiming to belong to Daesh, Anbar is simply treading water until it is defeated and driven out of Iraq. Anbar surrendered while it was alarmed by Daesh's existence. It isn't as though Daesh has a solid existence there. That fluid existence is typical of Daesh's claims in any destabilized country, including Libya. 

Daesh has no sovereign military. It has no munitions production and steals or buys with oil money every bit of it's armament. The real danger of other groups, in particular, those that exist in Pakistan, is that they have the capacity to produce their own guns. It is done by artisans in Pakistan that produce components of guns and assembled there. The Pakistani government has not been able to take down that capacity within it's sovereign borders, but, I don't know that was ever attempted either.

The artisan gun culture in Pakistan is a complete affront to the Small Arms Treaty of the United Nations. 

But, as to Daesh in general, it's greatest threat is within other sovereign countries. This migration to Europe was purposeful while Europe allowed itself to believe these young men were refugees. It is nonsense. The migration of these men became obvious to most observers as it occurred. The desire for Europe to have open borders between all it's members, including Turkey, caused the dissemination of the terrorists. Now, it is up to Europe's intelligence agencies to rout out the terrorists and bring them to court and/or prison if there is not an armed response in the first place. 

Realizing through this article by the NYTimes the reality of Daesh in Europe brings a far greater concern in that an armed presence may be necessary if the group is planning an uprising among the people. Intelligence needs to work as quickly as possible to identify the new men and bring them to authorities to deport back to Syria. They are not at all refugees. They are enemies of the country in which they have migrated. These men are a danger to Europe and need to be deported back to their homeland. Turkey also needs to harden it's borders with Syria. Turkey has to recognize Russia's right to assist an ally and provide a space for Russia to patrol the Syrian's borders since Turkey seems completely incapable of conducting that vital capacity to stem the movement of Daesh.

Daesh is a global concern, but, it is manageable. It is a terrorist organization that has existed since 2003 and it needs to be acted on to remove the threat. The global community can wait for people to carry out an attack as in Europe, however, Indonesia has been managing these dangerous people for a very long time. What is amazing about Indonesia is that is carries out it's sovereign authority as an island nation. Amazing.

Management by removing dangerous people among citizens is a far better approach then putting out fires as they occur. And, again, there is a strong reason for media to be a friend to the people in addressing these arrests and finding the fact to protect the innocent.

For Republicans, racism is fund raising.

AP - Hillary Clinton raised $63 million in July (click here) for her presidential campaign, her best month yet and a summertime haul that puts her ahead of President Barack Obama's fundraising at the same point in his re-election race.

The Democratic nominee also may have out raised her Republican opponent once again. In addition to her campaign money, she brought in another $26 million last month for the Democratic National Committee and state parties, bringing her total monthly fundraising to about $90 million.

Donald Trump said Monday that he'd raised $35.8 million for his campaign in small donations, but he has not disclosed his full July total. Like Clinton, Trump has a fundraising partnership with party allies through which he can collect checks of hundreds of thousands of dollars from individual donors.

Both campaigns must provide their latest fundraising details to federal regulators by August 20....

The party has a split. The establishment Republicans welcomed the money and politics of the Tea Party since 2008. The Tea Party was rolled out before the inauguration in 2009. The establishment Republicans were real happy to accept them then. Then they started to lose seats in primaries of the Tea Party. Well, they lost this nomination as well.

The establishment Republicans are ruthless and cater to the extremists. How did anyone think this was going to turn out?

Donald Trump is not going to release his tax returns. Romney didn't. In Romney's case he was offshoring money. Republicans are embarrassed by their tax returns that prove the cronies they would have as elected officials.

It is amazing to me that someone from outside the Washington inner circle is considered a threat, but, when Cheney was cooking the books at Halliburton he was never questioned as a Vice Presidential candidate.

"W" was the worst President this country has had in modern times. Eisenhower did not go back to war and even warned about using the military prowess of the USA for the wrong reasons. Eisenhower wasn't alone either. There have been Presidents across our history that have warned about the power the USA has and the prudent use of it.

Why didn't the media make a SCENE over "W" or Cheney. Only AFTER the fact did facts emerge to the wrongful path of the USA under their leadership. Why is that? Maybe because exposing tax returns seems enough to know about a potential president?

Rumsfeld's cabal was established long before the 2000 election.

The USA has a democratic process to be respected. Hijacking it is equally as bad as a supposedly "unfit" candidate. It is amazing to watch how people in power believe they have the RIGHT to control election outcomes.

It is a process to bring candidates before the people. When are the people going to be respected again for THE POWER they have.

The shape of each search was different: circular, semicircular, a straight sweep though a current. Now and then Takamatsu had an intuition that his wife was in one part of the sea or another, and Takahashi tried to accommodate his hopes. But there were many restricted areas — fishing routes, places with dangerous currents — and Takahashi had to coordinate each dive with the coast guard and fishermen.

On the first dive, Takamatsu took a boat out to sea. He was scared. The water wasn’t clear, and he knew that below the surface, there were dangers — he could get caught by a rope or cut by debris. A flipper might hit his head and flood his mask. The regulator might not work. He might panic. He could die of hypothermia, entanglement, the bends....

The love in this dedication is indescribable. No one can understand the depth at which these people loved each other. It would be good for Japan to find a way of honoring those lost in the tsunami. This is heartache. The idea the bodies are somewhere rational waiting to be retrieved does not have expectations defined in science.

Bodies recovered in the first week were in good condition, but the beginning signs of decomposition were present on a body recovered after eight days. The two bodies recovered after 20 days were highly decomposed and could only be identified through DNA analysis or dental records. As for warmer water, A 2008 study on two human bodies recovered following aircraft accidents found one body off of Sicily to be partially skeletonized after 34 days and a second body off of Namibia to be completely skeletonized after three months.*...

It is called democracy.

Most USA citizens don't want candidates groomed by and for Wall Street. Since "W" the people have seen a rise in non-Wall Street family businesses that seek control over the power of the USA. 

We aren't interested. Donald Trump while owning a family business is not carrying out promises of bailouts to failing petroleum industries. He is not pandering to money and uses the public and cable media to promote his candidacy. The Republicans of the Tea Party have a right to seek their own candidates. Now that they have everyone is scared to their civvies. 

Too bad. The Donald Trump campaign earned their current status legally and within the primary process.

I am quite surprised President Obama is attempting to dictate an outcome to the 2016 elections. Very surprised actually.

President Obama on Tuesday (click here) escalated his criticism of Donald Trump, calling him “unfit to serve as president,” as the Republican presidential nominee faced censure from members of both parties for disparaging the parents of a fallen army captain.
“The notion that he would attack a Gold Star family that made such extraordinary sacrifices on behalf of our country, the fact that he doesn’t appear to have basic knowledge around critical issues in Europe, in the Middle East, in Asia, means that he is woefully unprepared to do this job,” Obama said at the White House, during a news conference with the prime minister of Singapore.
Obama also challenged Republican leaders to go beyond distancing themselves from Trump, saying their objections “ring hollow” as long as they still pledge to vote for him....

I strongly suggest the Democratic movement begin their voter to the polls drives now. I am not afraid of democracy, I am afraid of men that move into the Pacific to bring pressure to major powers to act.

Denver — Three top officials (click here) at the Democratic National Committee will leave their posts this week amid the controversy over the release of a cache of hacked emails from the committee.
Chief executive Amy Dacey, Chief Financial Officer Brad Marshall and Communications Director Luis Miranda will leave the DNC just days after a new leader took the helm.
A trove of nearly 20,000 emails were posted on WikiLeaks last month. They included some emails that raised questions about the faith of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's primary rival, Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.), and others that seemed to disparage donors....

Today the Department of Justice (click here) revealed that a longtime employee of the Federal Bureau of Investigation has been charged with espionage on behalf of China, his homeland. Kun Shan Chun, who was employed by the FBI since 1997, was arrested back in March of this year and has already pleaded guilty to his betrayal.

Chun, who went by “Joey,” worked for nearly two decades as an electronics technician with the FBI’s huge New York field office, where ten percent of the Bureau is assigned. He held Top Secret security clearances since 1998. Part of his job, as one of the legions of technical personnel who support the FBI’s storied special agents, included accessing classified information. It seems safe to assume that was what Chun was sharing with Beijing.

Chun admitted that, from 2011 to 2016, he passed sensitive information to a Chinese official whom he knew to be a government representative, i.e. a spy. Among the classified information he passed included the identity and travel plans of an FBI agent, an internal organizational chart, plus photos taken by Chun of documents in a restricted area related to surveillance technology....

"Pokemon Go" demoralizes participants lives. Amazing. It should be banned on military bases. It is a national security issue.

A two-year-old toddler (click here) found crying outside his home after his parents allegedly left him alone to go play Pokemon Go, authorities said.

Brent and Brianne Daley, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, were arrested and charged with child endangerment after Pinal County Sheriff deputies found the boy barefoot and wearing only a diaper and T-shirt outside the home.

The Daleys admitted to leaving their child while he was sleeping to play the augmented reality game, which requires users to find Pokemon in real-world locations.

Reports claim the boy was left alone anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours, according to NBC 12 News and KTAR News.

At some point the boy exited the home while distraught in temperatures of approximately 95 degrees and was spotted around  10:30 pm....

Britain's oldest dog (click here) has been mauled to death while on a morning walk.

Jack, a 25-year-old Yorkie, was attacked and bitten by a black lakeland terrier near its home on Teeside.

Owner Ray Bunn, 70, said: "I am still in shock. We expected Jack to die quietly in his sleep, not in this horrible, violent way. The dog just came out of nowhere and grabbed Jack on his side.

"I was desperate to get the dog off Jack. I punched it, but it was about three minutes before it let go.

"Jack was bleeding heavily but still breathing. Someone had a blanket and we wrapped him up and put him in the back of the car."

The dog, who would be 117 in human years, was rescued by Ray and his wife Mary 17 years ago from a couple who could not care for it....

New Zealand to increase their refugee quota by one third.

Doubling the refugee quota (click here) would have cost $41.2 million more a year, according to Government estimates.

Cabinet ultimately decided to increase the annual quota from 750 to 1000 - a move that will cost $20.6 million a year in the long-run.

The costings have been outlined in documents relating to the refugee quota system released under the Official Information Act today.

Other detail includes advice from immigration officials that a suspension of the refugee quota programme would be considered in the event of a mass arrival of asylum seekers.

There has been strong lobbying from NGOs for the refugee quota to be at least doubled, a position that had broad support among other parties in Parliament.

Three options were presented to Cabinet as part of the Government's regular review of the quota - leaving the annual quota at 750, increasing it to 1000, or doubling it to 1500....
