The reasons young Muslims have gone to Syria is because no matter how they try at home they haven't been successful in building relationships and lives with families of their own. There needs to be forum 'at home' where they can meet others and talking safely about their future. The disintegration of generations is going to lead to sovereignty problems. I suggest The West place importance on the estrangement of their young people. Their futures have been abandoned post 2008.
