Harvard
About 30 percent of Harvard students are here on a scholar’s Visa. That is the J1 Program.
The J1 program is designed to provide access to the USA by a foreign person but it already requires a minimum income of $2000 per month to qualify for that Visa. Needless to say the J1 Visa holders are supported by family or other income. The reason for the requirement is to prevent the person from becoming a burden to the country’s taxpayers.
One other aspect to that program is the additional cost of spouses and children to the monthly income requirement.
With this additional cost to J1 Visa holders it seems as though by Trump using any excuse possible to deport them; they would have to pay increased costs to return or be eliminated from the program by sheer lack of funding.
I find the financial exploitation by the State Department very telling of an administration completely out of control of foundation knowledge as to how the world works. In the case of Harvard these policies are not only exploitive of the participants of our Visa programs, but, indirectly assaults the financial stability of the long standing institution.
Where does this exploitation stop? When does this administration stop seeking to destroy the solvency of our great institutions that took centuries to build?

If the jobs numbers aren’t bad enough, this will make it worse.
Congress needs to legislate these enormous changes. There is absolutely no research stating all these idiotic changes to USA policy is prudent. This is no different than the exploitive ideas surrounding the $5 million dollar gold card that buys citizenship to the USA. Trump is turning the USA into a racket rather than a country.
I am fairly confident that 99 percent of people seeking Visas cannot afford $15,000. People will stop seeking Visas and simply use their passports while being careful not to over stay the time allowed by a Passport.
Trump is turning the United States of America into an obstructionist until everyone Pays Up. Enough of this. The American people don’t know the number of Visa holders that aren’t here on vacation, but, work in places like hospitals to care for them.
This is pure exploitation and nothing more and more of Trump’s scheme to have everyone outside the USA to pay for the cost of governance. He will do anything to prevent the million-billionaire tax increase and ruining the country along the way.
It is time Congress reign in the Power Abusing President.
The job numbers under Trump are becoming…
…consistently bad. May and June were downgraded, however, those numbers were bad to begin with. I don’t care how one looks at this, it is not good news. Currently, Trump is ranting about July’s number, but, this is a full three months now. You mean to tell me May and June was okay with him and the public cringed at July so he finally thought he needs to cover up the truth by pretending there is fraud?
Huh?
And Trump is complaining about Powell. Really? Trump knows nothing about the failing economy and he wants to distract by starting a hate campaign of The Fed Chair. I don’t think so.
Why didn’t the jobs only tank in May? Because the economy was still riding on Biden’s steam the first three months after inauguration. There are serious problems here and Congress is sitting on their hands.
Enough! This can’t wait any longer. Our economy is tanking.
Putin is the only one pleased about this. Even Xi is scared.

Congressional districts are supposed to be set up so
Citizens get fair representation and services. This doesn’t look right. There is a reason for congressional districts and it is NOT about politics. It is about the people.
This is where the Republicans get carried away with power and money. Congressional districts are about fair representation of the people. It is not about cronies and corruption unless it is being prevented.
I’ve heard it all before. Nothing new.
They minimize the impacts for the sake of economics. The focus is not about human survival, it is about Wall Street survival. It is not about biotic content that allows humans to thrive. It is about promoting concrete over mud. The thing is this, concrete isn’t supported for human survival when it is floating in flood water.

Earth is not an economic entity; it is a planet revolving around Sol. The Fed could never come up with a percentage of decline of heating Earth. The United States of America is a democracy until it comes to Wall Street and the petroleum industry where scientists like these have the say over government policy.
The USA deserves to be marginalized with such rubbish being published by it’s completely irresponsible government.

It is being delivered at a surprising rate. Even plane travel is getting dicey. There are a lot of hostile encounters at the USA border for absolutely no reason at all except to bully people for a political show. The cross border gregariousness is leaving both countries. The USA economy is being ruined through aggression, bigotry, harassment, and hatred.
Isolationism is communist in nature. Realize what countries enjoy a vibrant economic culture and which do not. Fear alone is as good as sanctions.
ICE has no probable cause for detaining people. It is all based in bigoted ideology.
The collapse is well on its way. Tariffs won’t be the biggest insult to USA consumerism. The inability to purchase anything will be a startling reality when purchasing power ends as the economy disappears.
The collapse of economic vibrancy is the intangible commodity removed from the USA international ideology. The “idea” of the USA brought excitement to travel. Now, that enthusiasm is replaced with fear. People aren’t going to be coming to the USA anymore. Why waste a vacation in a detention facility?

There are limits on power. They can’t legislate mass murder although they can try pretending it is a real issue such as immigration. Every immigrant is on the radar as well as USA citizens. The concern is MAGA mission creep and pure racism, bigotry and hatred. That mission creep cannot be allowed to be normalized. It’s 4 percent of voters. Enough of the abuse of power. If they had a real issue it can become political. Hatred is not a permissible election issue. Neither is legislated greed.
The perfect crime, or, was it?
The timing is perfect for maximum return. It started at 8 am EST and ended at 1 PM EST. Banking hours basically. Look, if one is going to steal a whole lot of money it has to go somewhere. Most likely multiple accounts to be undetected. But, they would have to be large accounts that have a high flow rate.
I would like to say it was terrorists, but, it takes some knowledge of how Americans live their lives to achieve it.

By the way, I still use paper checks and the postal service. If a check is interrupted along the way my reputation usually covers any alarm over nonpayment. The bank cancels lost checks.
I think the crime is domestic in source. The origin could be outside the USA, but, I don’t think so. Perhaps the repairs at Maralago or the transient Air Force One requires more than the billion dollars stolen from the nuclear weapons update budget.

I would not call her a survivor. She must have had PTSD. PTSD IS KNOWN to occur with rape victims.
It also needs to be treated. A good beginning is having a rape kit processed to identify the rapist. That was not the case with Ms. Giuffre. She knew her rapist. Correction pedophile.
Women are never given the fact to be known that she wanted a life of HER choosing. In other words she wants to avail herself to a man (even as a teen) of her choosing whom she has feelings. Any molestation or assault will cause scars. Emotional scars that last a lifetime.
This is why Date Rape is an issue.
I really think the playboy lifestyle Trump engaged with people like Epstein has a very false face of women. (Click here. Ah, liquor and love). Supposedly women “want it.” “When she says no she really means yes.” All that nonsense is to justify a man’s aggression. “It has to happen sooner or later.”
Does anyone hear RESPECT in those colloquialisms? No. There is no respect for women in that male culture. None. Where are the men that openly state, “Don’t you know how to respect your own identity while respecting hers?”
See, a woman has no gray area in that culture. Either she is a whore or a virgin. That is polarizing identities and placing them in opposition of each other and not in parallel to each other in an understanding of each other in feeling intimate and the consent to “go there.”

I am so sorry to hear the victims of Trump and Epstein were so badly scarred they contemplated and/or ended their lives.
In the year 2025 can we please empower rape victims to, “Go, run, tell,” no different than a child confronted by a stranger? That social culture is far healthier than hiding in shame. Rape kits need to be in abundance in Urgent Care Centers as well as ERs. They need to be given priority in processing TO PREVENT the next rape.
Rape kits should always be free in processing because IT IS A CRIME.
It is easy to see why Ms. Giuffre demanded records to be released. She had no shame. She only had pain and wanted not only justice, but, PREVENTION from it happening to others including daughters or nieces or the neighbor. She wanted others to understand her pain. If that had occurred she might have received support and healed.
There is NO WAY inmate Maxwell should be released or given brevity in anything she states as fact.
Someone is looking at old results.
The Dem candidates need to be in motion by 2026 to be not only recognized, but, KNOWN. This is a 2024 survey. Governor Pritzker is a great governor. No one would know that by looking at this survey.
2028 is going to be more than beating Trump. As a matter of fact I think even bringing up his name is a mistake. Concentrate on everything Americans want including the real facts about boarder security and immigration.
I wouldn’t bother talking about Trump or blaming him. He is a liar and his statements change moment to moment. He took everything Kamala Harris said and made it his own. He lied about everything. Being a mimic to the Dems only proves the wayward focus of the MAGA party.
Real solutions with strong ideas based in doable paths to achieve them. If people see the light at the end of the tunnel competing with a liar will not matter. 2028 is about setting real achievements as the priority. The space race is glamor, but, solid achievable goals will matter to Americans.
