Recent phenomena during eclipse.

This reporting is on "Reddit." The original citing is a video on TikTok. Obviously the clouds had something to do with this, but, it is really weird. I don't subscribe to Tik Tok so I have no link to the video. I suppose it could be artificial intelligence, but, the video sounds legitimate. The clouds look like a spoke to a wheel. It seems to similar to be real. But, it is pretty cool.

Riddle me this.

The President of the USA frequently has pets. Frequently, the pets are dogs.

As a civilian the President has immunity from prosecution while performing duties. Within the staff at the White House is a lawn care person with different political practices than the President.

This dog belongs to the President.

1. The President’s dog bites the lawn care person for no apparent reason. Is the President liable? Is the President charged with a crime?

2. The President feels threatened by the lawn care person and the dog bites the lawn care person. Is the President liable? Is the President charged with a crime?

3. The President is feeling real animosity toward the lawn care person due to a brief conversation they had and the President orders the dog to attack the lawn care person. Is the President liable? Is the President charged with a crime? 

I will write what I believe to be the correct answer tomorrow. I wanted anyone who cares to a fair amount of time to deliberate the differences. Thank you.

In all three scenarios the President is liable for the dog biting the lawn care person. This is the President’s dog and should have the dog under control at all times. That doesn’t mean he alone is liable to the lawn care person. If there were personnel caring for the dog that dog attendant would be held liable as well, but, not in all three scenarios. At the point where the President takes control of the dog and sends it to attack the law care person, the President is solely liable. 

In the second scenario, the dog acted out of instinct, but, there was no physical aggression toward the President. The exhibition of fear would have trigger the attack. It is questionable as to what exactly about the lawn care person resulted in an expression of fear. At any rate the lawn care person is benign in his demeanor and cannot be the reason for the attack. The dog attendant and the President still should have maintained control. This was not a police action.

As to criminality. 

In the first scenario, there may be reason to contain the dog’s aggression differently and the dog may suffer consequences, but the President and the dog attendant are not criminally responsible.

In the second scenario there is an action by the President that triggered the dog’s aggression. Depending on what trigger the dog’s aggression, all three human beings could be held criminally liable. If the lawn care person deliberately acted as if aggressive  or there was a verbal exchange, the lawn care person could be held responsible for criminal assault. There was no physical altercation so the dog’s aggression cannot be justified. The other alternative is that the actions by the lawn care person are completely benign and the President over reacted either intentionally or unintentionally. Here again the aggression by the dog is legally fuzzy. One would have to read the President’s mind to know if the actions that triggered the dog were intentional. The dog in this scenario could have been the purpose of training. The dog has no consequences. There is no criminal charges that would apply to a surprise reaction by the President.

The third scenario is more clear to criminal intent. There was a verbal exchange of ideas and words, possibly angry expression by each of the persons. The dog would clearly be interested in such an exchange and the dog attendant would be more alert to the dog’s aggressive posture. But, the control falls to the President where at one point turns the dog loose to attack the lawn care person. There is definitely assault. The actual contact by the dog is battery. The President would be charged criminally. Depending on the outcome of the condition of the lawn care person there can be severe consequences for the President. The dog attendant better be trying to get the dog under control after the dog began the attack or the attendant could be held for criminal negligence.

The purpose to this entry is obviously as a thought experiment to begin a civil understanding of how nuance plays a huge role in law and its application. There are definitely clear understandings of law, but, there are also grey areas and why the USA have judges to weed out the truth as it applies to the very serious application of the law.

All these relationships are personal when there is interaction. The relationships turn professional when the duties are being carried out. The President’s animosity of the lawn care person is personal and not allowed in the duties. Retribution for personal political differences is illegal.

Hey, Texans, too. Pay attention. Retribution is not the Rule of Law. Retribution, depending on the severity, can be a crime. Popping a chewing gum bubble in a disliked person’s face isn’t illegal, but, publicly advertise a specific judge should be impeached IS a crime. It is a form of intimidation because of death threats.

It actually has to be said?

It should not have to be public discourse. Respect for judges is automatic. The courtroom is a place where innocence or guilt is decided. There is no public discourse.

What is to understand about someone who disobeys a court order?

Donald John Trump is carrying out personal animosities as President. That is not in the job description.

Call all of them up for contempt of court and let the lawyers make the arguments. Trump is a convicted criminal. This isn’t new. Charge whoever is necessary to charge including the border patrol, ICE, and any pilots involved.

He invoked an Act that applies to war. We are not at war. Trump cannot break the law every day of his presidency and get away with it. 

Let all involved argue it to the Supreme Court including charges of racism, hate crimes, and bigotry. Let the Supremes know what a mess they created for the country and economy.  I know they never intended this. They wanted to protect the President if he or she tripped over themselves. Not this. The order needs to be refined. It is not absolute. I am confident the Supremes did not intend for a president to lead an anarchy.

Venezuelans had special status because of the illegal and lethal government in that country. This is a humanitarian issue as well. These actions are NOT my country. These people were within our borders legal and probably paid every dollar they had to insuring their legal status. They were unarmed and trustworthy. They are not criminals.

Climate Crisis

I haven’t discussed the continuing climate crisis in awhile.

The death count in the USA with these events has been increasing. Now there are at least more than one hundred deaths and more like at least 125 deaths every time a major system comes through. This last one is no exception.

I have been tracking tropospheric vortices for 21 years or so. I have seen a maximum of seven at a time in the northern hemisphere but they were far smaller than the one that recently left the continent. That one was a monster that pulled equatorial air masses north and arctic air masses south. Let me see if I can find a discernible picture. 

This is too large, so I will make it smaller. That is better.

That is its minimum. Kindly notice the peripheral clouds in Canada. It circulates around the center which is over Iowa. There is a picture of the maximum.

It was a funky storm. It oscillated in size. I believe it oscillated because it was carrying out heat transfer very differently than vortices of the past. Before mid-latitude vortices would migrate to the Arctic Circle and pull equatorial air masses north over the ice of the Arctic Ocean. But, this one handled heat transfer by mixing air masses from the north and south. That is why it was so turbulent.

The early vortices were fairly benign. I would watch them from the ground. Their movement was dictated by the Earth’s rotation. Their clouds looked like railroad tracks with gaps in between cloud masses. The cloud masses lined up as the vortex in the north pulled that air northward. The clouds were the exact same size and spoke to Earth’s steadfast physics. The moving air masses lined up with consistent borders. Dead center of this moving mass of clouds was another cloud structure that literally looked like a human backbone. I have records of it all. 

The New York Times had a picture of one as it traveled north on their front page. It was Lower Manhattan with the heat transfer clouds over the Hudson River by estimate only. I don’t recall when that was, but, it was early on.

These cloud structures never rained. That wasn’t their function. They were heat transfer clouds and that is what they did and did it highly efficiently. At the time the Arctic was registering higher average temperatures consistently. Over time the ice in the Arctic Ocean diminished in size and age. We lost one year to five year ice every year. Now, there is just annual ice if we are lucky.

This past storm was highly volatile because of the mixing. The vortices didn’t do that before, but, Earth doesn’t have ice masses to draw on to cool the hotter air. The physics are similar, but, the dynamics far more dangerous. 

In Traverse City, Michigan the temperatures measured to 72 degrees after three days of warming that started at 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Within 12 hours of reaching 72 degrees the temperature plummeted to 30 degrees F, the wind increased to 23 mph and it snowed.

The ground was nearly bare from the melting. Within one hour after the temperature dropped and the snow started, the ground was covered again. It has been frigid to 15 degrees Fahrenheit which is 17 degrees F below zero ever since. The snow stopped when the extreme temperatures settled in.

For clarity, the warming was caused by air being pulled directly from the equator. As the vortex moved east, it passed and the Arctic air mass came to settle over the land.

This is without a doubt a climate crisis. With escalating deaths due to severe mixing, it is a climate emergency. Just because life goes on doesn’t mean we can ignore Earth’s grave warnings.

Yeah. It is the “Day After Tomorrow.”

This is outrageous.

These people are human beings with right to be treated humanly. Their identity in such a video can put them in danger. 

This president has mental health problems. This is NOT the way government addresses these issues.

Good call, New Jersey!

The New Jersey Sheriff from the coastal community was spot on. There were spy drones among the other recreational drones. 

Great call. Those spy drones were coming inland from an ocean location. They also avoided detection when they were being followed. Those drones are probably capable of carrying munitions inland. 

It is safe to assume they are a hostile power. The next question is arming against them. That is a foreign invasion with intelligence about a densely populated state. I think Patriot Missiles are a good idea to begin.  

Check with Raytheon (in Massachusetts), but, the Patriot systems also have a return delivery system. That means as soon as an incoming missile is detected and an interceptor deployed, a sister missile(s) is deployed to take out the hostile delivery system, in this case sitting offshore.

We are NOT playing around with this mess, it is an emergency.

I don’t want to hear anything from any federal agency about this, Alaska already has Patriots protecting them.

This may be a project for the Governor as he or she controls the National Guard.

Oh, the mother ship is probably still offshore. Think satellites.

As far as taking down drones, ask Zelenskyy. I would not trust anyone else. Hegseth is incompetent, politically driven by an ideologue, and purged the military top brass. I mean every word.

Zelenskyy could make an official visit to the USA with his generals and/or commanders. Ukraine uses drones and destroys them. They discern enemy from domestic from homeland military. They are the most sophisticated with experience.

New Jersey, no different than NYC after 911, can develop its own global intelligence.

Trustworthy

With Trump known to lie to judges, by three separate judges reporting, the Attorney General Pam Bondi as well as the Executive Branch secretaries as well as Trump, are untrustworthy.

This is highly unusual for an Executive branch if the USA government to fall into such disrepair and suspicion.

That said, all international activities may very well be based in falsehoods. I remind, Trump has his own propaganda arm that produces their own reality based in tabloid journalism. 

Trump is not trustworthy if he is lying to his own people and their judicial system. Congress is to blame for gross malpractice and negligence to their oath of office and Rule of Law.

Legal associations and State Attorney Generals can begin to address the ethical standings and criminality with federal elected officials. The people have power if the state power structures are willing to move in it. States like Texas have a long history of corruption and will not move to enforce good standards of the people.

Trump is gaslighting the judicial system.

Congress does nothing. The people and out democracy is compromised from within. Congress is corrupt.

Disobedience

Trump is disobeying judges orders. He is assaulting the USA Constitution. Where is Congress? Waiting for the Supreme Court to chime in? Trump is suppose to obey EVERY judge, not just choosing this one or that depending on whether it falls in line with his PLANS.

Trump is in contempt of court.

Trump’s contempt are not new tactics. This is NOT a constitutional crisis, it is criminal neglect by Congress.

Congress is not acting because a Plutocrat bought them at the point when Johnson became Speaker. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the USA Constitution. It is pure unadulterated corruption.

Trump’s actions in assaulting our immigration system is not system wide. He is deciding whom to kick out of the country and who can stay.

That is corruption based in transactional motives.

Gang members of any kind are best jailed and made to stand trial in the USA. Third world countries will experience violence in their streets from these criminals. Trump is grossly negligent to the safest outcomes of the people of the USA while satisfying his bigotry.

There is trauma through the entire shipping industry.

I would encourage all of the logistic industry to stand their ground and maintain fleets as they are today. Pass the tariffs on to American consumers. This is temporary and should not result in bankruptcy in countries with developing infrastructure.

In increased cost to American consumers due to tariffs won’t be felt for several months, but, once they start they linger even after tariffs end.

I think there is a possibility this “tariff thing” is to hold attention of the world by a malignant narcissist. The longest lingering will be in manufacturing.

The Republicans Congress gave Trump what he wanted. For six months. If Trump acts badly with DoGE it can be acted on before another funding bill is necessary.

Musk attached himself to Trump because the “Cult of Elon” absolutely believes he is better than NASA. He blows up rockets all the time, yet the belief in “Elon the God,” continues and why shouldn’t it; his minions are living their dream when they probably wouldn’t be hired by NASA.

And NASA would be right NOT to hire them.

If one recalls when Johnson was made Speaker of the USA House of Representatives there was lot of opposition at first. All of a sudden the entire House became quite to make in unison the Louisiana Congressman (was never qualified) their Speaker. There was not one vote dissenting. Not one. What happened there I believe, was Musk and his promise to Republicans. I suppose they needed someone other than Russia and the gun lobby.

But, the extremism being witnessed is way, way outside of what is to occur within the USA Constitution. There are statements being made like, “If we left it up to Congress the other party would be a problem,” and “they use our country for their own economy so it us right to charge tariffs.” 

Those statements are not campaign speeches they are statements of belief. It is true that if the USA Constitution was honored their would be another party seeing to it the people whom they serve would be okay without throwing them under the bus.

It is also true that our allies ENJOY profits from selling to the USA as raw materials or refined products. BUT. And that is a huge but. They are allies and it is our responsibility they are strong and capable. That especially means strong economies for the well being of their people as well as their friendship. France put on fantastic Olympics and the majority of Americans loved it. That IS our economy lending itself for the benevolence of all free people.

Both those statements are regressive and serve no one. The USA military is not a mercenary force to serve Wall Street and inflame the entire planet with war or worse mutual nuclear annihilation.

The sabotage by the Republicans in Congress is the problem. Trump is breaking the law and facilitating others to do so as well.

Americans need to fight back and make it clear to their elected officials they are in violation of the USA Constitution in doing nothing to protect that document.

Stop Trump and stop DoGE. The courts are holding but not if Congress allows legislation that changes the very moral character of this country. The White Evangelicals have it wrong. God is not hate.

Drop in consumer confidence

These are measures calculated to help investors estimate where their money is safe. The current numbers are dropping. The question is are they precipitous or simply a misperception by consumers?

I believe consumers are rightfully concerned and are becoming protective of the money they do have. When a federal government turns on its very employees as if a disease there is no reason to have confidence in the federal government and focus becomes local.

I want to understand why Wall Street is even looking at these numbers anymore. Trump wants his empire to be wealthy only to a few. Everyone else will be impoverished if they are not there already. If consumers have less and less viable income these indexes will be mothballed as a thing of the past.
