The Republicans gave investors to 'entertain' a movement away from the US to 'downgrade its reputation' if not its credit rating.

This news is not about the USA bonds, it is about Australian bonds.

While Speaker Boner is soliciting votes for his bill, it is already July 29th and a new trading day in Australia.

Aust bonds climbing on US default fears (click title to entry - thank you)

July 29, 2011 - 9:34AM
...Investors are flocking to the relative safety of Australian bonds, amid a looming August 2 deadline which could see the US default on its loans, should its debt limit not be raised by the government.
At 0830 AEST on Friday, the September 10-year bond futures contract was trading at 95.110 (implying a yield of 4.890 per cent), up from 95.090 (4.910 per cent) on Thursday.
The September three-year bond futures contract was at 95.490 (4.510 per cent), up from 95.480 (4.520 per cent).

By 0915 AEST, bonds had risen further with the 10-year contract reaching 95.145 (4.855 per cent) and the three-year contract at 95.530 (4.470 per cent)....

..."Even though that might involve an eventual (credit rating) downgrade of the US, I think everyone's more concerned about what that might mean for global market sentiment."...

This is Sarah Payne, another murdered child exploited by Murdoch's "News of the World." Is the list endless?

...Former News of the World editor Rebekah Brooks, (click title to entry - thank you) who became close friends with Ms Payne during the paper’s campaign, said the latest allegations were "abhorrent".
It is believed that the evidence found in Mulcaire’s files relates to a phone given to Ms Payne by the News of the World so she could contact her supporters, the Guardian reported.

Brooks said in a statement: "For the benefit of the campaign for Sarah’s Law, the News of the World have provided Sara with a mobile telephone for the last 11 years. It was not a personal gift....

For 11 years this child's mother had a phone to run a campaign to bring about a protection law provided by News of the World.  And for 11 years the media service could move freely into the phone and out to find out what was going on.  I doubt the mother agreed to any of it.  Nothing like desecrating a dead child's memory.  Is there anyone alive that can absolutely tolerate the Murdoch Media network?  There is just some morality that should never be allowed to exist in any form or affiliation.

The Speaker of the House might try offering to hold the vote for his bill in the Chapel. It may be where the caucus has decided to wait this out.

Republican (click title to entry - thank you) Conference Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R) of Texas (left) and Rep. Mike Pence (R) of Indiana walk from House Speaker John Boehner's office at the Capitol as the scheduled vote on Boehner's debt-ceiling bill is delayed in Washington Thursday.

I chose the Christian Science Monitor article because they have it more correct.  The Speaker is determined to pass his bill.  I sincerely don't believe it is going to happen.  I am sure President Obama has readied an Executive Order in case this division of the House Republicans continues.

I have never witnessed such brutal treatment of a House Speaker.  The longer the delay goes on the longer it is going to be.  I sincerely believe the Republicans are committed to their outcomes.  I also believe it is media driven by the Right Wing media.  Perhaps, if the Speaker would address the party on FOX there might be more support for the bill and things would turn around for him.  Hideous as it is, they have allowed Murdoch to be their king maker and Mike Pense openly thanked and praised Hannity after the 2010 elections to the point of nausea.  When one sells their soul to the devil there is dearly nothing a prayer can do to save you.  I could not be more serious.

…“If this were a parliamentary system, (click title to entry - thank you)  this would have been the equivalent of a no confidence vote,” says Stan Collender, a longtime federal budget analyst and partner at Qorvis Communications in Washington….

The House Republicans can't seem to get their minds around the issue that it was this Senate that voted down the President's Budget unanimously.  I don't know why they believe they are so far apart on anything that concerns the country's sovereign debt.  The differences occur when it is the citizens of the country vs Wall Street and the wealthy as a choice to DEBT REFORM.  Why is it that people of faith, and proclaimed abiding faith have a difficult time discerning the decision about that?

President Clinton never was threatened with a credit status downgrade,he never signed a pledge, he never sacrificed the well being of the American people and he never had headlines like this.

U.S. Treasuries weaken as debt, budget uncertainty persists (click title to entry - thank you)

11:39 28/07/2011
MOSCOW, July 28 (RIA Novosti)

The price of benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasuries edged down on Wednesday and demand at an auction to sell five-year bonds was low, as Congress failed to agree a deal on state debt increase and the budget deficit.

The 10-year paper yield rose six basis points to 3.01 percent. Bonds with a 3.125 percent coupon became 0.25 bp cheaper at 101.22 percent.

The U.S. Finance Ministry sold $35 billion worth of Treasuries at an auction where demand exceeded supply more than twice over, but was lower than at the last four sales.
The U.S. is on the brink of a default on its Treasuries - a previously unthinkable occurence - on August 2, unless Congress raises the ceiling for government borrowing. But congressmen link widening the debt limit with cutting the budget deficit, an issue on which Republicans and Democrats differ strongly....

The bottom line to all this is that the Majority Republican House has ruined the credibility and accountability of the Untied States of America.  They pledge their allegience to Wall Street rather than the country and they are the only ones accountable for the financial and fiscal emergency now facing the USA.

Click here for pie graph of debt distribution (click here) and how the interest is paid.  To most people 10 year Notes or T-Notes are unfamiliar jargon, but, in this graph it is noteworthy to realize that is the way the majority of the debt is financed.

This is an example from Wikipedia as to what T-Notes are and how they actually deliver on payment over ten years.  It is fairly simple and straight forward as to how the USA uses borrowed money to pay bills.

Treasury notes (or T-Notes) mature in one to ten years. They have a coupon payment every six months, and are commonly issued with maturities dates between 1 to 10 years, with denominations of $1,000. In the basic transaction, one buys a "$1,000" T-Note for say, $950, collects interest over 10 years of say, 3% per year, which comes to $30 yearly, and at the end of the 10 years cashes it in for $1000. So, $950 over the course of 10 years becomes $1300.

This is a second accounting of the same auction discussed in Ria Novosti, a Russia newspaper. This is from Reuters.

NEW YORK, July 27 (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury sold $35 billion worth (click here) of five-year notes on Wednesday in a lackluster auction, with foreign demand hitting a five-month low as time
runs short for the government to raise the national debt limit.

The auction, the second of this week's three offerings totaling $99 billion, extended a pattern of soft interest from overseas being offset by increasingly robust demand from large
domestic investors.

The rising domestic participation suggests some investors, at least, see no alternative to U.S. government bonds even in the face of a default or possible ratings downgrade. While not stellar, the auction was by no means a disaster, and the Treasury market only added modestly to earlier losses. Thursday's $29 billion auction of seven-year debt will end the week's offerings. For more, see [US/]...

This reporting about the US Treasury auction in July 27, 2011 is a realization that the decline in the interest in US Treasury Notes has already begun even before any downgrading.

The downgrading will cause less interest, but, will not eliminate the purchase of these form of securities in the financial markets.  What a downgrading means is that the interest paid on these notes will increase to investors and cost the USA citizen more money to pay.

This is a clear indication the Republican Caucus of the House of Representatives cares very little about the well being of the average citizen and prefer to keep their wealth in order to invest in commodities that help finance the USA debt such as foreign oil exporters.  Oh, yes.  See there is a conflict of interest with Republicans.  They can disregard any downgrading as their cronies don't really see it as a measure of USA sovereignty so much as a change in strategy for their investments in the market place.  Follow?  The Republicans and their cronies don't have anything at stake here.  Nothing.  They can pick up their chips and play elsewhere or better yet continue to invest in the Treasury Notes and receive higher interest.  See, the reason President Obama is upset up all this is because he knows the Republicans nearly prefer to have the USA default for reasons of higher income to their cronies and themselves while causing hardship to the Middle Class and higher incidence of poverty.

The debate by Republicans is sincerely void of any loyalty to the USA, so much as loyalty to Wall Street.  Republicans nearly prefer to have the USA rated with a B or C rating before sincerely showing concern.  To them our Treasury Notes are not so much about sovereignty, but, of where does one place their money to earn money.

Rarely does anyone bring up the reason why oil and gas are the primary forms of energy in the USA.  One of the reasons is not just that the USA is dependent, it is because the USA is 'secured' by that dependence.  Oil exporters are the third major holder of USA debt.  So, the USA is not necessarily resolved to change that so much as support their debt holders.  It is why most environmentalists sincerely don't understand the argument to "Drill Here, Drill Now."  They actually believe the drilling is for domestic use, no different than hydraulic fracturing to secure gas.  None of that is going to make a difference to the USA as LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) is being transported (adding the CO2 component to the LNG) to other countries such as India.  The offshore oil in the East and West Coast waters isn't really significant.  It is a very minor amount that will never sincerely serve as a way to reduce USA dependency because new drivers are added to the roads of the USA everyday in Motor Vehicle Agencies across the country.  The USA is dependent on oil and gas to support the holders of debt and according to Republicans that should happen rather than 'Go Green.'

Unfortunately, Treasury Secretary Geithner decided to allow more time three months ago to assist lawmakers, primarily in the House, to come to terms with what a National Debt Ceiling is and how it has to be treated to continue the sovereignty of the USA without any assault including the value of its currency and the esteem of its Treasury Notes.  He thought it would be helpful so that calamities that occurred on July 27th would not occur.  The Republicans refused to acknowledge their responsibility within that time limit so much as viewing it  as an inconvenience to the length of time before default and more time to 'play' political games full of nonsense.  So, while Joe What's His Name in the House BELIEVES he knows there is nothing to worry about regarding August 2nd, he is DEFINATELY "W"rong when it comes to the well being of the Middle Class and Poor of the USA.

DO NOT.

DO NOT.

DO NOT, elect Republicans to government at the federal level again !!!!!!!

The House of Representatives has time to watch movies, huh?

I actually thought the picture the GOP chose was quite tame compared to what I sincerely believe characterizes the Tea Party more and more.  If watches the Quintan Tarantino trailer of , "True Romance," at about 1 minute and 20 seconds the picture portrays the actual 'standoff' character of the Tea Party.  It is just a partisan effort to decide who the good guys are and who the bad guys are, or as President Obama might say,."... if there are any at all."

All I have to say about the Tarantino film is, Alfred Hitchcock did it better.  I never bothered seeing another one after this.

Oh, yeah, the scene where everyone is screaming 'put it down' while holding guns in each others faces, most of them end up dead, except of course, the star actors and actress.  They live to tell the tale.  The scene where she is held hostage to her returning husband is absolutely brutal.  She wins the day, but, oh babe the blood never stopped flying.

At the beginning of the calender year (12/28/10 map) the majority of this map (91.14 percent) was considered 'abnormally dry.'

I'll tell you want bothers me more than anything else.  The area is now profoundly in the state of drought.  One year ago the same area, that was one year ago this week 74.23 percent exhibited no drought what so ever at all.

Drought is a strange thing.  By definition it is a lack of rain and water.  But, in physics of the Earth, it is a long process.  It takes a lot to dry out an entire area until the soil cracks and is unproductive.  The 'heat wave' that, or I guess everyone was calling it a "Heat Bubble," spread to nearly the entire Midwest and East of the USA. The physics of Earth always, in my observations, gives a hint to the future by observing the present.  What often seems like an anomaly in 'passing' weather, not climate but weather, is a foretelling of the future.

This season I posted an increase in the depth of the drought and the reach of the drought.  It is my estimation that where the 'bubble' made itself known to the citizens of the USA is a foreshadowing of what is to come in the years ahead.

If I could wave a magic wand and Homeland Preparedness included tracking drought and its potential for future emergencies for the water supply of the country I would have done it this year, because, I sincerely believe we are going to see worsening drought in the next decade.  We witnessed a dry Lake Lanier.  It is a threat to reservoirs.  I don't believe I should morally withhold these concerns either.

Since the 'Heat Bubble' the 'abnormally dry' drought conditions extend into New Jersey, Western New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana where the severe heat reached its northern boundary.

Evidently, the Tea Baggers are sacking the country in 2012 and getting rid of my favorite Republican Speaker of the House...

I like Speaker Boner.  He tries to write reasonable legislation, even if he has to rewrite it.  That was a good attempt the the Speaker, rarely to Republicans actually write a bill that deals with difficult issues of the day.  They usually rely on rhetoric to be re-elected.  I am very pleased Speaker Boner gave it his best try.

Oh, I know I use the name "Boner" instead of "Baynor," but, I sincerely believe he is not using his name correctly.  Look, if the Republicans call The Affordable Care Act, "Obamacare," then I have a write to call who ever and what ever I want the name that sounds right to me.  Besides, "Boner and the Tea Baggers" has an interesting ring to it.

But, I found it interesting "The Old Guard" in every way has to go according to the Tea Baggers, especially after the mess they are causing over SIMPLY raising the Debt Ceiling which should be a paragraph long.  I mean they are not following Georgie's Manifesto.  He reduced the ABM treaty to three pages after all.

If there is a sure fire way to save on the National Debt, the much maligned Rep. Howard Coble has his own method.

Why I would think the House Right Wing Republicans could not get this bill to fhe floor fast enough.

Washington, Jul 26  (click title to entry - Thank you)
(Washington, D.C.)----Saying he’s not ready to give up on his career-long quest to reform the congressional pension system, U.S. Rep. Howard Coble (R-NC) announced today that he has introduced new legislation to change how the system operates.  Congressman Coble, who has refused to participate in the congressional pension program, said his new bill would change how quickly new members become vested.
“When all the debate in Washington is about sacrifice and how Americans may have to do more with less in the future,” Rep. Coble stated, “members of Congress are noticeably silent about what sacrifices they are willing to make.  I think it is imperative to show the American people that we – as public servants – are serious about changing the free-spending culture of Capitol Hill.  We can begin by reforming the lavish congressional pension system.”
Coble says his bill would require new members of Congress to serve for at least 12 years before they vest into the congressional pension program.  Under current law, members become eligible to receive lifetime pension benefits after only five years of service.  It also makes conforming changes to ensure that members cannot receive other pension benefits until they have served 12 years....

Representative Coble is what the Tea Baggers are calling, "The Old Guard."  Of course that would mean they are the only fiscally responsible New Guard.

Rep. Coble has been tryint to save the USA money for a long time, it is just that it was never in fashion and let's face it, the 'Retirement Fund' is rarely talked about and hardly known to exist by the people of the USA.

The 'humble' times of the Murdochs and their companies continue to be very revealing to the power brokering inside News Corp.

I want USA officals investigated for their close affiliation with this media empire.

We are living in a time of extreme national security, like, ah, what the hell is this?

The USA and the UK are allies through NATO.  I want this investigated and cut off right now !!!!

The extraordinary access (click title to entry - thank you)  that Cabinet ministers granted Rupert Murdoch and his children was revealed for the first time yesterday, with more than two dozen private meetings between the family and senior members of the Government in the 15 months since David Cameron entered Downing Street.
In total, Cabinet ministers have had private meetings with Murdoch executives more than 60 times and, if social events such as receptions at party conferences are included, the figure is at least 107.
On two occasions, James Murdoch and former News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks were given confidential defence briefings on Afghanistan and Britain's strategic defence review by the Defence Secretary, Liam Fox. A further briefing was held with Ms Brooks, Rupert Murdoch and the Sunday Times editor John Witherow....

Who's side are they on, Pakistan or China?

Speaking of oppression. Ever get the idea that Republicans are sincerely SCARED of democracy?

Walker Makes It Harder to Obtain Voter ID, Shuts DMV Offices in Dem. Areas (click title to entry - thank you)
by Mike Hall, Jul 26, 2011

In May, Gov. Scott Walker (R) signed a Voter ID bill that could disenfranchise tens of thousands of students, seniors, poor and minority Wisconsin voters who don’t have drivers’ licenses or state-issued photo IDs.
Now it appears as if the Walker administration is going a step further to keep voters who aren’t likely to be Walker supporters (see list below) away from the polls.  He’s closing 10 Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) offices where residents can obtain the photo IDs they will need before they are allowed to vote. Supposedly, the move is to free up DMV employees to staff offices that will have expanded hours to provide ID services.
But state Rep. Andy Jorgensen (D) says it appears the decisions were based on politics, with the department targeting offices for closure in Democratic areas and expanding hours for those in Republican districts. In an interview with The Associated Press, he asked:
What the heck is going on here?  Is politics at play here?
He probably also doesn’t believe the claims by Walker and his Republican cohorts in the legislature that the new law is necessary to stop voter fraud….
The information in the article speaks for itself.  The Wisconsin Republicans are afraid of democracy.  The way in which they are conducting the State governments it almost looks like they know the default is on its way.  Just a strange coincidence I guess.

On Thursday, Gov. Scott Walker is scheduled to speak(click here)  at the 45th anniversary of a fast-growing Wisconsin company with a long history of helping the disabled.
But Walker's appearance at Fort Atkinson-based Opportunities Inc. has been overshadowed by a whistleblower's claims the company runs an "American version of a Chinese sweatshop" where workers make $7.50 an hour with no benefits, no vacation and little hope of a raise.
In a letter to the Daily Jefferson County Union, Robert Heussner, a three-year employee, says he's disappointed the firm has "embraced the type of work environment that Gov. Walker is bringing to Wisconsin."
Walker is visiting at the company’s invitation….

Wow. It all makes too much sense.

A group undergoes (click title to entry - thank you) computer training on July 12 at STRIVE, a program in Harlem, New York, designed to prepare the unemployed for new jobs. A new study has found that blacks and Hispanics have lost a greater share of their net worth compared to whites in recent years as a result of the troubled economy.
Ann Hermes / The Christian Science Monitor

Every member of the Black Community in the USA needs to come together over this one.  A special funding institution for minoity home ownership needs to be developed from private funds.  It needs strong and resolute leadership with intense oversight.  Community development has to be a part of it.  I think it should be called, "The Forty Acres and a Mule Foundation."  I know that is in poor taste, but, I think the message is clear.

The housing bubble created by Bush to help buoy his economy failed the minority communities in the USA.  It failed them without any remorse.  When the investment banks were bailed out they ran to foreign markets to increase their wealth while victimizing the American people with a plummet of their economy.

I know the Black Community is up to this and a prime example of its capacity is the noble Vernon Jordan.

"A Conversation with Vernon Jordan."  (click here)  An interview with Charlie Rose in November of 2008.  A very proud time for this community.  Vernon Jordan is brilliant and knows the ins and outs of such a financial institution.  Don't let the government do this to minority Americans again.

RUSSELL CONTRERAS, Associated Press
Updated 02:27 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2011

BOSTON (AP) — The widening wealth gap between whites and minorities has wiped out gains made over the last 30 years and could foreshadow even more inequality if something isn't done to address it, National Urban League President and CEO Marc Morial told the Associated Press on Tuesday.
Speaking a day before the National Urban League begins its annual convention, Morial said new census data analyzed by the Pew Research Center shows that blacks and Latinos have especially been hit hard by the economic meltdown. He said the report is a "wake-up call" that those communities need more investments for long-term job creation.
"A paramount issue for this nation for the 21st century is to ensure the narrowing and closing of the racial wealth gap," said Morial, a former mayor of New Orleans. "It has deep social implications. It has deep political implications."...

Heck, at this point, the miniority communities of the USA should consider themselves oppressed ethnics and seek shelter from the IMF if necessary.  If this doesn't prove it then I don't know what does.

The USA Debt Clock (click title to entry - thank you)

Let's see, $14,292,905,200,000 is a nice round figure.

If that number divides President Obama's offer to decrease the debt by $4,700,000,000,000.  What percentage is that of the total national debt?

Very roughly the percentage of President Obama's Debt Ceiling proposal, which Republicans claims doesn't exist, is 28 or more like nearly 29% of the National Debt as it stands right now.  There is no other proposal that even comes near that today.

President Obama needs to write the Debt Ceiling Law and sign it with a note it is being invoked by the Executive Branch, with evidence as an attachment, under the 14th Amendment and take not nearly a third off the deficit, but, only 10%.

Then Congress can wrestle all the want until the next Debt Ceiling increase which may come sooner than two years if the USA Treasury Revenues continue to be destroyed.  They can wrestle as to how they can reduce the national debt.  And instead of a Balanced Budget Amendment, President Obama needs to sign with the law he passes under the 14th Amendment, the provision that EVERY spending measure will be paid for without increasing the national debt.  Not the debt ceiling, but, THE CURRENT national debt as it is on the day the spending bill is passed.  I do believe the Democrats call it "Pay Go."

This story is one of the most precious tales about the operation of the USA Post Office I have ever heard. Thank you.

"Owney" is a great American.
There are all sorts of 'service dogs' in this country.  I find this particular service dog a real morale boost and important for people to find a devoted companion to make the work a little lighter.
There are police dogs, military dogs, rescue dogs and all kinds of dogs that visit nursing homes to make everyone's day better.
It is a fascinating story and a real American treasure.  It is wonderful.  Love it.
It’s been more than 120 years (click title to entry - thank you)  since a little dog named Owney trotted into an Albany, New York post office and took up residence there, sleeping among the mail bags. For nine years, Owney, by then a beloved pet to the mail clerks, served as the unofficial mascot of the U.S. Railway Mail Service, riding the rails from state to state. After his death, his body was preserved and spent decades on display at the Smithsonian Institution. When Owney was transferred in 1993 to the Smithsonian’s new National Postal Museum, the scruffy Postal pub would became one of that museum’s most popular attractions. This summer, Owney is finally being honored with his own postage stamp, one with interactive features sure to endear him to new generations.
“It’s been in the works for a long, long, long time,” says Nancy Pope, historian and curator at the National Postal Museum, who recalls that there has been talk of an Owney stamp since the 1980s. “People would ask, ‘Shouldn’t there be a stamp with Owney on it,’ so it’s been one of those things that people bring up on a regular basis.”...

If the Republicans continue to destroy revenues the debt ceiling increase won't last for two years.

And the Wayward Republican House hits another foul ball.

The House of Representatives DOES NOT HAVE A UNION VOTE.

The reauthorization of the FAA bill is unconstitutional.

(Reuters) - Airlines (click title to entry - thank you) should not "pocket" revenue from a passenger tax that has lapsed during a partial aviation shutdown, two U.S. Senate transportation leaders said in a letter sent to the industry association on Tuesday.

"Although this policy may increase your bottom line in the short term, we are afraid it will have long-term repercussions for the industry," wrote Sen. Jay Rockefeller, chair of the Transportation Committee, and Sen. Maria Cantwell, chair of the Aviation Subcommittee.

"We urge the nation's airlines to put all of the profits that they are making from the lapse of the aviation taxes into an escrow account so they can be transferred BCX-1777 Congress reinstates the taxes," they added in the letter to Richard Anderson, CEO of Delta Air Lines (DAL.N) and the chairman of the board of directors at the Air Transport Association....

I could not be more serious.  In order to facilitate such an order from a federal authority regarding unions it would have to be validated by the Federal Labor Board and it would go something like this:

"If union MEMBERS do not vote after 90 days full notice by certified mail and an opportunity to file an absentee ballot at any day following that notice by the very nature of the business of TRAVEL, the TIE  BREAKING votes can be No instead of None."

That is the best anyone is going to do if there is to be such a provision, but, even that isn't constitutional.  The House of Representatives ASSUME the Unions do not have rules to decide TIES in any ballot they take.  The House of Representatives do not pay union dues for the privilege to vote in any of their ballots.  Payment of dues obtained through 'an employees labor' is a special form of member dues.  The House of Representatives do not perform work that other union members perform therefore they do not have the same privilege simply because they 'labor' as a government official.

The entire 'idea' that the federal government could dictate union laws in regard to member voting privileges without proof of corruption and/or inequality is hideous.

Hatred and violence cannot be tolerated. The 'Insane' that fall under its influence is an excellent reason why it does not deserve tolerance.

Advocating hatred and intolerance IS violence !  In the USA there are such crimes as Hate Crimes.  They started out of an understanding of intolerance.  Why should a civilized society tolerate intolerance to the point where violence is an outcome.  There is no reason.

Norway has a high standard of living and quality of life, the intolerance of such acts has to end where it begins.  The is not Darfur, or an oppressive regime of war criminals, this is a civilized nation where violence is never experienced, especially in such tragic levels.  Murder is different than this.  This is an 'act of influence' that cannot be tolerated.

EDL leader Stephen Lennon denies claims Anders Behring Breivik attended EDL demonstrations.  (click title to entry - thank you)

Photograph: Ben Stansall/AFP/Getty Images

Anti-racism campaigners believe they may have uncovered evidence thatAnders Behring Breivik, the man who carried out the mass killings in Norway, was in touch with activists from the English Defence League as recently as March.
Searchlight said the 32-year-old used the pseudonym of a 12th-century Norwegian king to communicate with people on the EDL forum before retreating to a remote farm to prepare for last week's attacks.
In one posting, on 9 March, the author called on rightwing activists in the UK to "keep up the good work".
"Hello. To you all good English men and women, just wanted to say that you're a blessing to all in Europe, in these dark times all of Europe are looking to you in such [sic] of inspiration, courage and even hope that we might turn this evil trend with islamisation all across our continent. Well, just wanted to say keep up the good work it's good to see others that care about their country and heritage. All the best to you all. Sigurd"
Breivik boasted about his links to the UK far-right group in his 1,500-page manifesto, written in English under his Anglicised name, Andrew Berwick.
In the document, he says he was given the codename "Sigurd (the Crusader)" at a meeting of a group called the Knights Templar Europe in London in 2002. There is no confirmation that the author is Breivik. Sigurd is a common name in Norway....

The United States of America is currently experiencing their portion of 'influential violence' which killed many and nearly killed a USA Congresswoman.  The gunman was insane, so they say, but  he received permission for violence from an understanding he held important in his life.  That came from somewhere.  On a personal level he is a problem to himself, but, on a social level he is a problem that needs to be addressed.  Insanity is no EXCUSE for a society to remedy the violence with an understanding the killer needs to be medicated until his death after sentencing so he understands what he did and why he is now going to die.  That is as insane as the act itself.
