The United States of America is no longer financially trustworthy.

Moody’s was the last hammer to fall. Basically, while federal spending is necessary for the economy and the country’s reputation there is not enough income. 

Just that simple. Republican leadership is irresponsible and willing to risk the USA Constitution and national security rather than asking the wealthy to pay tax revenue. There are several different mechanisms to support current spending but they are abandoned for hardship of the people. Expect more of the same.

Moody’s decision comes after decades of fiscal failure. This is a slide due to decades of failed leadership.

There is no miracle that is going to save the USA from the need for additional income. Raising taxes on the wealthy is absolutely necessary. The Congress needs to get on with it.

Climate?

I told you so.

The question is would Trump be bought by climate organizations and alternate energy companies as he was by IT and petroleum? My guess is probably not.

The thing with climate is that as the global community pushes all the right buttons to reverse this trend the USA Republican policy makers almost appear to be purposely pushing to end any gains. Quite frankly the bad behavior of USA policy makers is criminal and is so egregious it can invite war if other countries are imperiled by it.

The last few days have been nothing but pure devastation across the USA. The death toll is climbing and insurance companies will be going bankrupt because of the enormous property damage. How can an economy continue to operate well if a country’s infrastructure continues to be destroyed? For that reason alone war would probably not cause any more damage. 

All those Project 2025 Evangelicals really don’t seem to believe they are to be Shepards of God’s green Earth. Now, do they? They are far more interested in being the serpent in the Garden of Eden. It simply goes to prove they are driven by greed and not faith. Miracles of the return by Jesus Christ won’t be spawned by such sinners who disrespect God’s greatest creation; a common home for living things.

Venezuelans

They should seek shelter in Canada. The Trump administration should provide an opportunity for these special people a timeline to leaving to allow them to seek asylum elsewhere.

They are not criminals. They are no threat to anyone. 

Trump is full of hate for anyone but himself. They should leave as soon as possible. 

Pope Leo LIV may be helpful in advocating their relocation among free nations. I don’t know if the Vatican infrastructure is organized enough to mitigate humanity on Earth. The Holy See is under threat. The Vatican might find itself a necessary new role in the world and ally with countries who are willing. The USA is suffering a minority full of hate for “the other.” There should be no doubt about that fact.

Loyalty to Trump?

FOX News is so corrupt it no longer views the USA Constitution as the law of the land. 

The loyalty Trump is supposed to have is to the oath of office, not his insurrection.

Donald John Trump would see any judge that holds loyalty to their sworn responsibility to the people and the USA Constitution impeached. Trump is a criminal and an insurrectionist. He hides no fact he disdains the laws of this country.

Justice Barrett is carrying out her responsibilities, her oath to the USA Constitution, at very fundamental levels. The highest, most responsible court of this country has ruled. There was no unfairness to the Executive Branch. Due process is guaranteed to every person in this country. Trump decided solely on his own to deny protected people seeking asylum in fear for their lives status and simply rounded them up like animals and put them on an American transport to a country that wants to use them as a bargaining chip in a prisoner change with Venezuela.

Anyone knows as soon as the Venezuelans place a foot back on Venezuela soil, they will be used as scapegoats for Maduro who will point to the fact that even the Great United States can’t even justify the migration of those men while damning them to death with tattoos as evidence of wrong doing. 

FOX News is in violation of their permits to practice their profession if they continue to defame this great country. In turning toward a loyalty to Trump rather than the law of this land FOX News should not be hypocritical. They can stand in defiance of the Constitution, deny the truth necessary for this democracy, pack up their infotainment radio and TV stations and move their practice to Russia where the threat of freedom of speech does not exist. FOX News can forever be at ease knowing their broadcasts are scripted to serve Vladimir Putin. 

We live during a time when judges’ lives as well as their family are under threat by those with odd realities. When FOX defames judges it opens the possibility of violence against them. That is irresponsible and should be strong reason to deny them permits and remove their rights under the first amendment.

With entities like FOX News turning the key for Trump it is an act of bravery for all nine justices, regardless of their decisions, to sit in judgement of this administration and it’s gross misuse of the power granted the Executive Branch.

I.C.E. was receiving very bad instructions.

When a freely elected government official enters into a law enforcement facility it is on behalf of the people upset outside that law enforcement office. An I.C.E. facility is not an armed encampment in enemy territory.

Mayor Ras Baraka was completely unarmed without police escort with orders to fire the agents. When he went into a law enforcement facility to deescalate the circumstances with the citizens of Newark he should have been respected for his status and given the opportunity to restore confidence in the people of Newark.

That isn’t what happened. 

ICE had no right to treat the Newark Mayor as the enemy. I am confident Mayor Baraka is a citizen of this country. He is also the highest authority in Newark. I will not be surprised if the Newark council votes to have the ICE facility removed from inside the city limits. The council would be within their rights to do so.

I am not an expert on Newark but I did work at UMDNJ for years. At least five if my memory serves. I was a member, shop steward actually, in the union and worked with some of the finest and diverse peers in the healthcare profession including physicians, surgeons, and specialists of all kinds. The state trauma center was 40 percent funded by the State of New Jersey and never once did the police or ICE enter that hospital on the hunt for anyone. The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Hospital was considered a haven for well being. We were not a gun and knife club. During the years I was there not one hospital employee was ever injured or attacked.

The idea a government official was unwelcome within a federal facility that directly affected the city is a gross redirection of purpose and authority within the federal government. Homeland Security is carrying out orders based in hate and IT WILL STOP!

ICE in its capacity to find and detain illegal aliens is a guest in any corner of this country without authority to instill fear in citizens. ICE’s operation at any time anywhere in this country should be carried out so well no citizen should know what is happening. That is for many reasons including the FACT that any undocumented human being may be here to save their own lives while seeking asylum. ICE has a duty to this country and it does not include defaming any human being that has rights under the USA Constitution including the undocumented seeking asylum.

The Mayor of Newark and the very fine citizens of that city deserve an explanation and an apology for the wrongful arrest of Mayor Baraka.

Every agent involved should be fully ashamed of their inability to rise above hatred and adequately address the Mayor with respect.

Hegseth is out of his element.

To begin with, any military base in the USA considers itself more powerful than any trespasser. Besides that, USA military bases have vast amounts of acreage. They are bases and not sovereign countries. Americans wander into military areas all the time, either intentionally or not. I have never once heard of a military base patrolling for trespassing. The soldiers are not especially afraid of other Americans. Where there are sensitive military operations or munitions there are deterrents to entrance even by other military personnel.

The truth be known the USA military bases go out of their way to be received as quiet neighbors. They like Americans and try to be helpful if needed. So, the idea that Hegseth is turning soldiers into ICE is inappropriate. It is not in their job description and is the absolute wrong path for men and women who are trained for combat. 

Besides all the fear related ideas attached to the undocumented, this misuse of military personnel is rather disturbing. Two reasons. The first being the fact soldiers are not suppose to morph into government jailers or assassins. It is all too clear the military under Hegseth is not about national defense so much as law enforcement. Law enforcement is not the role of the USA military at any border or domestic land of the USA.

Secondly, with the USA military now practicing law enforcement its reputation and tolerance will be scrutinized by communities at the perimeters of USA military bases. The domestic military bases must continue to be kind and polite to American citizens. The USA military reputation should never be diminished in any way. These are warriors that live a warrior culture. They are to be respected for their dedication to defending this country and not feared for their very presence.

I believe it was General Raymond T. Odierno upon arriving in New Orleans stated as his first order to the soldiers there, “Put your guns down.” Why would he say that? Because Americans just having suffered through a catastrophic category 5 hurricane were in distress and their actions were unpredictable. Soldiers are trained with weapons and are on alert for danger. So, considering the fact a General would arrive to a dangerous, catastrophic event with orders to stand down speaks to the readiness of his soldiers.

This activity of law enforcement by Hegseth is completely counter culture to the practices of long standing respect for human beings domestically.

How much money did Trump make?

The way to build disgust with Trump is to follow the money. How much did he and his cronies and family and his coffers of any variety pocket? Four days among very wealthy men didn’t cost him a dime and was met with lavish lifestyle and gifts. How much did the son of a bitch take home?

See, what is missing with this administration, besides trust, is the “Public Trust.” The power Trump is using to carry out his chronic crimes was built up over centuries of time. There is an investment there. By Americans since the inception of this great democracy.

Every generation since the Revolutionary War has sacrificed for the very democracy that has grown to be the single most incredible democracy on Earth. Not even the Greeks or Romans can tout the citizen involvement in a country’s governance. We are a representative democracy, but, it has been honed over time to expand the power of the electorate. The power granted to those elected to office is the Public Trust AND its value to citizens both tangible and intangible. 

Two examples: 

The National Parks. These areas of land are beautiful and allow the least wealthy of Americans a place for respite and reflection in whatever manner they seek. They contain wonders of this world in the wilderness they protect and the healthy air available there. Today, because of the planned assault by Trump’s criminal network some of those magnificent public lands are closed to citizens. The Park Rangers that remain are stressed to the max and it is easy to realize how the danger of our Parks are no longer contained for the safety of Americans. What this administration has done is destroyed the Public Trust promised to Americans by centuries of hard work and sacrifice. Additionally, what is also being conducted on our public lands in the absence of visitors to them? Clear cutting of forest? Forests that belong to us and our love for the land they magnificently arise. Killing of wildlife? I don’t want hear one more complaint about grizzlies and wolves. They are allowed to be protected as an example of a country that values life and land. Spectators are allowed but senseless killing of increasing numbers of threatened and endangered species due to a heating planet is NOT. 

The Trump administration is in violation of the oaths of office they took to service this country and protect it. Being elected into office is an honor to serve carrying the Public Trust in one’s heart and the burden on their shoulders.

The Public Educational System. Ever hear of Pinkerton Academy? If memory serves me well that was the coveted place for young MEN to achieve education to carry forward sophistication at the beginning of the thirteen original colonies. Education has been a treasured gift of freedom and today it is under attack by those lacking moral fiber to maintain and GROW in outreach to every American. Today an idiot called Linda McMahon wants to close down the federal Department of Education that ensues high standards and sound universities. She is in violation of the oath of office she took when confirmed as Secretary of that great Caninet position.

Public schools from Pre-K to PhD and Postgraduate is NONE of her business. It is the business of every American in this country. The Secretary of Education’s responsibility is to ensue the educational system is as good as it gets producing valuable talents for Americans that touch every life and their chosen path. 

Her violation of the oath to that office is a national security risk that dummies down our magnificent brain trust and brings this country to the point of vast impoverishment lacking knowledge and opportunity PROMISED by centuries of hard work and sacrifice. She has no right to assault the integrity of our educational system and values. None! 

Across this great country there are public universities, some valued for their graduates over and above the private schools. Those public universities were established by recognition of federal land grants to protect this great country and bring about magnificent growth of an economy that cannot be killed by criminals. Every aspect of life is provided for in the curriculums developed by centuries of high moral standards and integrity.

Each state has universities that exist because the citizens of that state demand it. Chancellors and university presidents are required to bring ballot issues to the citizenry to approve the spending of precious taxes to improve and expand to accommodate a modern day society hungry for innovation and perfection. When those ballots are statewide they mostly pass providing monies that will result in better quality of life for the citizens it serves. States Rights as provided by the Constitution of the United States of America have the right to demand payment of federal taxes to fill in the gaps of funding to make sure every states’ citizens have equal opportunities to achieve as much education as desired. The Queen of the WWF has no right to inhibit excellence and achievement by the people of this country.

The Public Trust is a real thing. It exists in every American heart and mind with a clear understanding this country was built on hard work and promise the future awaits in the hope of every child born on USA soil. The Trump administration has no right to carry out criminal intentions to rob the people of their rightful place in a country. A country with a rich heritage and innate desire for a future that improves with every passing generation. 

The American Dream is real and is more than owning a home. It is about education and health, recreation and quality of life. NO CRIMINAL PRESIDENT and his CORRUPT CABINET has the right to remove the promise made by centuries of generations that strove for the best for it’s children and their quality of life.

This country wasn’t built by billionaires. It was built by us as Americans and it will always belong to the promise of tomorrow.

Pay up or find a lot of trouble. The highest bidder gets the AG’s loyalty. Florida’s AG election is the poster child for the wrongheadedness of Citizen’s United. Citizens’s United turned these bastards loose. 

You know how Musk got away with dissolving the probes that existed? That’s Florida and the relationship the Attorney General has with campaign donors, primarily car dealerships.

These guys are slime. Please don’t put respect into this picture. They don’t remotely deserve it. They are as dirty as the criminals they LEGITIMATELY prosecute. In the case of Trump he is far worse than the innocent people they throw out if the country to satisfy the White Supremist electorate.

Take a look at the relationship Trump has either Bondi, it goes all the way back to Trump University. While she was AG in Florida, there was nothing but corruption taking place in that office. She rolled the dice for DeSantis and she is doing the same thing for Trump. There are about four attorneys in the federal AG’s employ right now. Why? Because Bondi would end up in prison for the manufactured garbage she typing on her AI computer. It is all fraud. She doesn’t need help in producing the kind of corruption she generates. She just needs to type it out. 

Trump’s mistreatment of law firms and universities is all about extortion. They want the money. Between her and Trump they plan to drain any large sums of money being held by companies and colleges in the country, possibly the world. Universities can say good-bye to their endowments all in the name of justice and making America great again.

The American system of justice counts on some simple concepts, integrity and the truth. When those elements are discarded what is left is raw power for the purpose of wealth. Bondi will back every lying word Trump says and will roll anyone Trump believes necessary. No questions asked, her master’s voice is the truth.

It is long overdue for the excoriation of Republicans’ corruption before they completely destroy the greatest democracy ever known on this Earth.

The financial markets have to get in the groove. Trump declares tariffs are on them the markets will suffer and have losses. Jump to bonds and the best bear to be ridden. When Trump returns tariffs be prepared to be invested in the stocks that will soar and find the most aggressive bull in the market.

Trump is about simpletons and the way of extorting money. He doesn’t care about how he does it. He just does it with the worst set of cabinet officials in the country. 

Project 2025? Bring it on! He has an automatic electorate on their knees to God and the war with Satan.

When a man in the White House is the quintessential definition of corrupt power, who do you think will work with him? The best? The least qualified. Otherwise they would never have half a chance to say they worked for the President .

There is a limit to the investment foreign countries can make in the USA that cannot be changed with a presidential decree. Treaties are not made with a presidential decree either. The legislature is responsible for all that because it is supposed to be a representative democracy.

I believe Donald John Trump is guilty of conspiring to destroy the greatest democracy on Earth and replace it with a country intimidated into accepting him as a king to serve his whims and the delusional fantasy he has had all his life to be served in luxury by a world oppressed and beaten.

Syria needs to dialogue with the USA and possibly NATO to support its new democracy. The will of the people of Syria seems clear. However, with every revolution the aftermath always has rooted in its core corruption. It is the corruption that needs to be exposed while maintaining a stable governance. Ukraine managed to make it out of the corrupt Russian influence and so can Syria to secure its new government with strong allies.

As I realize the attempted coup by Trump it is easy to see “Make America Great Again” was nothing more than a ruse.

The tariffs did their work. They destroyed financial markets and magnificent companies returned to their homeland leaving behind voids of quality products. Then. Well lookey thar. Here comes MBS with a trillion US dollars to spend. If that is not a clear conspiracy then I don’t know what is. Last time it was the cleansing of an image with golf that turned the long standing PGA to a pandering beggar. It is time the dialogue in the country reflect that truth and not Trump’s fantasy.

Everyone is focused on China as a return to normalcy with tariff relief. Wrong. Trump relieved his tariff demands before he traveled.

He didn’t want tariff dialogue to burden his plans. It would have made him uncomfortable.

The problem is the Pakistani ISI is more a victim than a solution.

It would be nice if the world operated in a predictable and sane manner, but, it doesn't for a lot of reasons. I remember the Late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto pointing to ISI officers posted outside her home and stating they are here to watch me while killers are waiting. That was and continues to be an accurate statement of the Pakistani ISI.

Pakistan and India in relation to the Kashmir area is a bit of a tinderbox. The area, including Afghanistan is littered with incredibly beautiful, but, treacherous mountains that experience frequent earthquakes. It is impossible to control the area through civilized law enforcement. The mountains are where bin Laden passed into Pakistan where he was tolerated near the military school in Pakistan. These terrorists, no different than bin Laden know exactly how to behave to avoid detection. It was the mountains where the Taliban survived and were tolerated by Pakistan until their bloody return to Afghanistan.

In the case of Kashmir it has basically "de facto" borders called "The Line of Control (the red line on the map)." There are ethnic areas in the world that cause sovereign countries discomfort, but, are basically ungovernable. The problem is that TOLERACE exists in these areas. The terrorist elements in these parts of world (no different than Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan after he was exiled from the civilized world) have a say in the control of the land and will attack the sovereign government if provoked.

The terrorist elements govern basically as authoritarian militias and it doesn't matter they are sanctioned from munitions of any kind, they manufacture guns and bombs from elements they harvest from the land or steal. If one recalls the most troubling part of the USA military arrival in Afghanistan was the dependence of the people on opium poppies to make a living. It doesn't matter what is legal or illegal in these parts of the world, it is how the people live and survive. The people of Afghanistan that met our soldiers with donkeys after they parachuted in, only could respond civilly because of communication brochures they found in food and supplies dropped by American aircraft. Basically, the USA military, then under Don Rumsfeld grew a cultural understanding through these crude methods before the troops arrived. It worked. It was very hard pressed to find a television in the wilds of Afghanistan. Bin Laden used thumb drives to avoid detection.

India in this case decided it was time to disrupt the hostility of this region and took it upon itself to exert it's sovereign authority and make it clear killing randomly of innocent tourists is not an option. India is also having trouble with China along the "Line of Control." I am certain when innocent people were attacked India wasn't certain if such acts would get out of control with the contribution of munitions and supplies from China. I believe that is why India took the steps to end any incursions that might be encouraged by China. The issue of China as I write this is speculation. I don't believe there is evidence to China's involvement in tensions within Kashmir.

At any rate, this could be a new beginning for Pakistan and India. If they agree to MEANINGFUL dialogues that satisfy the issue of SECURE BORDERS it might work to end the tensions between them. Basically, Pakistan and India have sovereign borders in Kashmir. China is a neighbor and a hostile one toward India at times. If Pakistan and India find a dialogue that is productive and maintain it going forward, it can create a governance different than one of conflict and death.

The attacks by terrorist groups in Kashmir is not condoned by Pakistan, they are tolerated because that is how the ISI believes domestic peace can best be maintained. There are law enforcement activities in Pakistan. It is not a lawless land. Examples is the intervention of the Pakistani intelligence when Daniel Pearl was taken hostage and subsequently killed. There is also the issue of the Late President Pervez Musharraf and his frequent attacks by these groups. He would be traveling by car over a bridge and survived the explosion planned to kill him. So, there are methods of law enforcement in Pakistan, but, there is definitely a wild west, so to speak, that simply is not within law enforcement efforts, hence the idea that the ISI gives terrorists permission to operate. That is not exactly the case.

It really is up to the two sovereign authorities of these lands to find a way forward together. There are vast cultural differences that cause each country to hold their nose with their neighbors, but, that sort of disdain is best left to others. What has to be found is a way to identify the problems, work together to find reasonable solutions with an open mic between the two militaries. Also, Pakistan has to assure India there is no collusion with China with intent to harm India. 

Nuclear powers in the world have open dialogues between each other when tensions seem to be building without fully understanding the intent of those tensions. Wars start that cost many, many lives and precious sovereign assets when clear understandings of each other's intentions are not known. When it comes to Kashmir there is a clear powder keg between India and Pakistan. That powder keg has to be managed, otherwise sovereign attempts to tame that land with activities like tourism will chronically fail. I believe there is enough in common between India and Pakistan in this region such COOPERATION is very realistic. The leadership of both sovereign countries are fully capable of finding a way forward that will tame Kashmir and reduce the tensions that allowed for death on tourist land.

On Wednesday morning, India began a “focused, measured and non-escalatory” operation against nine sites of “terrorist infrastructure” in Pakistan, according to its ministry of defense.

While India administers Kashmir, both countries claim it, and significant numbers of troops — including highly trained special forces — are nose-to-nose on the disputed boundary. Both sides are breaking agreements for trading goods and conducting shipping at their Indian Ocean ports, and a crucial water treaty has been suspended. The US and China are attempting to calm the situation, to no avail....

...Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) is a long-established Islamic salafist militant group (click here) founded in 1986 in Pakistan and designated as a terrorist group by many countries. Its 2008 attack on Mumbai killed 166 people, including a number of foreign nationals.

Founded as the armed wing of the Markaz Dawat-ul Irshad, the centre for proselytisation and preaching, LeT emerged during the period of the then Pakistani leader Zia-ul-Haq’s policy of “Islamisation”, which aimed to turn Pakistan into a global centre for political Islam.

I hope every woman has a great day with the person they share equality in parenting.

To all mothers missing their dearly loved children my thoughts are with them to lift their losses to a country needing a return to a child’s safety.

He is calling for peace in all corners of the world.

Perhaps the ceasefire and peace processes should be conducted with diplomats at the Vatican for he and his staff to see it through. 

Or.

Perhaps the peace talks should have a Vatican representative involved to keep Pope Leo appraised of actual success.

Otherwise.

The Pope’s message is lost in deadly political rhetoric. If the spiritual leaders are made a part of talks they can bring peace and humanity consistently to the table.

I believe corruption exists at these talks. It is vital the people know since peace is being signed into a profoundly new reality.
