No. Think about the national parks and commute times to real jobs. Somehow putting housing projects in Yellowstone will result in failure. Where are the children going to school? Ohhhhhh. It is more than housing, entire cities need to be built on public lands to provide basic services.

Nothing like having a president with ideology to put a resort hotel in the tree of Redwoods and Sequoias.

Talking about housing the hatred the Republicans are spewing is marginalizing LGBTQ into homelessness (Click here). The hate speech is causing victimization and ostracizing people.

From a cinema perspective the film was made well. There are many story lines.

But, the overriding theme is the corrupt dealings of Trump and Roy Cohen. Trump has never come by his wealth honestly. Promoting  himself publicly was based in glamour. It became a method of power for both men, until the Apprentice became the Master and cast Cohen to the side.

Asheville house gone

The fast moving water is dirt brown in color. That color is resulted because of undermining and/or eroding land. 

President Biden is correct.

Helene has been a devastating storm. Asheville has no water supply. It is currently impossible to truck water into Asheville because there is no road access. People can go days without food but only 2 days without water. With no road access everything has to be flown in and the communication systems are down which limits any air flights into the area. This is a nearly impossible civilian effort. The National Guard needs to be involved and quite possibly the USA military as they were after Katrina.

Survival of the living has to come first otherwise people can become dehydrated and/or starve adding to the death toll. Search and rescue is a way to bring those surviving this storm to safety, food, shelter, and clothing.

The problems in North Carolina are compounded by the destruction in

Tennessee. Not being able to stage supplies in Tennessee to move to North Carolina makes the job far more difficult. Interstate 40 is impassable on the North Carolina side. Asheville is in the mountains. This is an extremely dangerous set of circumstances for the people trapped there.

Supplies into North Carolina are at the very least hours away if they can be moved by alternative routes. The infrastructure leading into the area in Western North Carolina maybe a concern considering the enormous amount of damage by the wind and water. The waterways have been torrents and will make the substrate that is normally safe at least questionable at this time. All the FEMA workers and NGOs responding to these areas in any state are at risk for unstable infrastructure.

The problems being faced by Americas today are unprecedented to the size and scope of this emergency. The devastation is bigger than Katrina with recovery 100 times more difficult.

I am grateful President Biden is in the White House with the experience of a lifetime to move mountains to save lives.

Senator Tester is too much of a gentleman to even bring it up, but, I don’t have a problem with that because I am worried about Big Sky Country, conservation and public lands.

Ryan Zinke. How the heck did he get back into government as a U.S. House Rep anyway?

Mr. Zinke took care of himself while Secretary of the Interior and while in the U.S. House he has been taking care of the opponent in this race for US Senator. Has anyone stopped to realize what a tag team they are going to be to assault our public lands?

What’s his name? Tim? Sheehy? Right? Tim Sheehy? 

He’s got lots of money. There is some discussion about the viability of his business though.

But, there is a direct link between his business in Montana and legislation passed to benefit it by Ryan Zinke. Isn’t that right, Tim?

I don’t know what the costs of fighting fires in Tribal areas are like, but, without real research or facts to justify this language in a bill that brought millions rolling into Montana, that is pure unadulterated corruption to benefit Tim who has poured lots of contributions into the Republican Party.

Tim is having a problem defining his position on climate. Why? MAGA. It seems as though when he discusses fires and his business he directly talks about how vital his business is to the climate. I am not going to get into that, but, his campaign seems to have the opposite message.

If the people of the USA are still having problems validating any concern for the climate crisis after witnessing the ravages of the hurricane that has devastated the infrastructure of the Southeast then I don’t know what will prove to them what a climate crisis is.

Senator Jon Tester is an honest man with excellent intentions for Montana and that is a fact by all his work for all Montanans. He is steadfast and isn’t corrupt.

And for crying’ out loud get rid of Zinke. He is known to be trouble. I don’t know what he has up his sleeve but he sent a lot of money to Montana to be sure he goes back to the US House.

The Attorney General should file a motion in support of Jack Smith’s request for public knowledge of the grand jury findings. It is obvious he afraid for this country. Perhaps the public needs to file a Freedom of Information Act request along with Jack Smith. If there terrible news in those reports it is important there is no error in judgement by the people of this democracy.

The FBI Director had no problems with disclosure in the closing months of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, why is there hesitation now?

I have been looking at memorials being posted online during this war by survivors of the Holocaust. I hope it is okay to call her by her first name. As a teacher in a classroom that is how I would address any student.

Czeslawa was lost to all of us by a hideous demand for power by those that believed they were the victims under Adolf Hitler. 

Czeslawa’s beautiful face, unrealized smile, wonderful mind, and possibly children born to her at some time in life, were all lost to us. That is a statement that can be made of all children lost to war, but, for the people of the Holocaust there is a deeper understanding of loss that assaults our very definition of humanity.

How do entire races of people forgive? The assault of genocide runs very deep for generation after generation. It is a reality which brings the deepest fear to any human being, in being killed due to the very genetics of one’s body.

I don’t know how to adequately address the Holocaust survivors and their descendants. At some point in time there needs to be a resolve to the fear of the other in order to go forward into a future of peace, prosperity, and pure existence. 

The war Israel is entrenched with began its existence long ago. This is not the first time these people have hated each other that resulted in war. Currently, however, it is to the point of allowing annihilation to manifest. I do not believe annihilation was ever the goal, but, the fear has caused a blindness to the worse rather than best outcomes. This war Israel is carrying out will not be over as generations after generations will see their very existence as hanging in the balance. 

While humanitarian definitions might be clear to some as to the injustice of the war, those definitions do not address the human condition as it actually exists today or that of the future. When a rational anger state presents itself between peoples there must be sovereign authority to define any war. There should be no allowance for terrorist organizations to be recognized as legitimate authority to any people.

To these understandings lies a greater definition of the war Israel and its free world allies now face. All countries of the world need to stop terrorist organizations from existing and incarcerate all that participate and hold account those who kill. 

No safe harbor anywhere in the world for terrorists, their agendas, their empowerment and weaponization; otherwise; these wars will continue to be a destabilizing threat to any sovereign country. How is the world going to address global stability if it is chronically destabilized in this way.

By allowing the hopes of peace to overshadow that of national security by providing a haven for terrorists such as Hamas and Hezbollah is proving to be a gross misjudgment to the peoples where terrorists found a foothold.

Genocide, as a fear, needs to be banished from the world. Fear is what empowers terrorists and dictators. For as crude this war of Israel’s retaliation is, it is carrying out a war to end those engaged in fear among Earth’s people. This is not a war between sovereign countries, it is a war to stop the ability of terrorists to kill and any sovereign authority that sanctions it. 

What is left to do?

Ahmed Muhammad Fahd and Hassan Nasrallah are both dead. Is it not time to begin the end of this war?

Trump verbally assaulted Former Vice President Pence.

It seems obvious to me that Trump verbally assaulted Mike Pence on Christmas Day. There is no way Mike Pence expected to be facing a barrage of insults and demands for criminal misconduct when he called the former president on Christmas Day. 

The Former Vice President is a deeply religious man, devoutly so that sometimes places him at a disadvantage politically. A phone call on Christmas Day would never be for any reason except to add to the understanding to the depth of that holy day. For Trump to turn the conversation into a demand for Mike Pence to break the law by decertifying election results and nullifying the will of the people was verbal assault that was meant to knock the former Vice President off balance on a day where prayerful friendship was in his heart. 

The former president did not exchange favorite Bible verses on that Christmas Day. Not at all. He attacked the former Vice President proposing a criminal plot to change the election results cast more than a month previously.

Someone shot and killed an extremely rare California condor (click here) near McPhee Reservoir in southwestern Colorado this spring, and wildlife officials are now asking for the public’s help in tracking down a poacher who eliminated one of the big birds that have been coaxed for decades into rewilding.

After avian flu in 2023 hit the complex condor revival program, there are only about 85 of the giants flying through canyons of northern Arizona and southern Utah, with occasional forays into Colorado. About 560 exist now from Mexico through the Southwest, and the reintroduction efforts recently expanded to the Pacific Northwest.

The shot condor was found just a day after it was killed in late March, Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials said Wednesday. The bird’s carcass was discovered west of McPhee Reservoir and northeast of Lewis, in a remote area. Cortez is the nearest larger town....

What is going on with people? This is Colorado where some of the most amazing human rights folks live, but, this? This senseless killing is so out of character for these folks. 

There have been three reintroduced (click here) killed in that state. It is more than livestock owners hating wolves. The entire population of Colorado voted to have reintroduction of wolves and someone(s) are killing them. Whoever it is has no respect for the law, yet alone wildlife.

There was also a wolf killed in Michigan (click here). So, who is giving themselves the right to kill at will? It is against the law. What else do animal killers need to understand? 

A guide thought it was a record size coyote. There is just no excuse. The killer should not have been allowed to keep the animal either.

The guide should have been protective of his client by stating, "That is far bigger an animal then I am used to, it is something I have to report to Fish and Wildlife." How about that idea, huh?

One of the greatest differences (click here) between the two species is size, which can be difficult to estimate determine at a distance. A gray wolf is much larger than a coyote. Wolves weigh 80 to 120 pounds, while coyotes weigh 20 to 50 pounds. Track size measures about four by five inches for wolves, compared to two by two and a half inches for coyotes. 

Ear shape is also much different; wolves have somewhat rounded ears while coyotes have taller, pointed ears. Wolves have a broader, shorter snout, while coyotes have a narrow more pointed nose. A wolf’s howl is long and drawn out, while a coyote produces a shorter, yapping sound. Fur coloration can be quite similar between wolves and coyotes and therefore is not a good characteristic for separating the two species. Large dogs and wolf-dog hybrids can also be mistaken for wolves, although they usually act more familiar with people. Wolf-dog hybrids can be unpredictable and aggressive. Some hybrids have been released into the wild, living like feral dogs. Distinctions between these hybrids and wild wolves can sometimes be made only by DNA testing.

And forget about the DNA testing, DO NOT SHOOT THEM. There are laws! Hybrids are gigantic (click here for picture above). I have seen hybrid wolves that came from litters by a dog. Why anyone wants a dog that size from that lineage is beyond understanding.

"The conduct here appears to be based on a reasonable and honest belief they were legally shooting a coyote,” Calhoun County prosecutor David Gilbert told The Associated Press.

The 84-pound wolf was killed roughly 300 miles (482 kilometers) south of the Upper Peninsula. The DNR said it learned through social media about someone shooting a “world record coyote.” But this was no coyote....

The energy perks proposed by Trump are crude and completely irresponsible.

One of the ideas being floated by the Right Wing media is that Trump can cut the cost of energy in half immediately upon winning the election and before inauguration. How that would work in how he would leverage power before inauguration must be an interesting discussion regardless of the proposed method. That is not why I am writing this.

There are costs to producing energy. There are production costs, but, one aspect of producing petroleum based energy are the HUMAN COSTS.

The USA and the rest of the world are involved in a severe and sudden climate crisis. This ABRUPT climate crisis has been developing since the Industrial Revolution and hasn't stopped. The progress being made to have human impacts minimized on the climate that supports human life has been moving forward at a more vigorous pace since the presidency of Barak Obama. Since the years of George W. Bush there have been changes in the way Earth is manifesting hurricanes with some of the worst having impact on lives beginning in 2005.

Currently, the North Carolina Outer Banks are experiencing extremely high sea level rise that is costing homeowners their property and homes. The property is disappearing as storms and high tides are taking away sand by the feet and not simply an inch or so. The latest in storms and high tides to hit the Outer Banks removed several feet of sand making it impossible for crews attempting to work on that emergency access. Now, the only recourse if to allow the homes to fall into the ocean.

This past year has seen record high temperatures across the USA. We are currently experiencing climate "at the nature of the planet" which only worsens as time goes by if nothing is done to reverse this deadly trend.

What do I mean by "at the nature of the planet?" Life on Earth is no longer based in levels of humidity to buffer the effects of the sun that results in infrared coming off the surface of Earth. The map above shows a drying land. There are some severely dry places in the red color, but, the overall condition of the land is drying. There simply isn't enough surface HUMIDITY to maintain benevolent temperatures. 

Example:

This is the weather right now in Detroit, Michigan. It is hot. Sustained heat will have an effect on people when there is no relief. On this report there is an actual temperature of 83 F which is reported to feel like 86 F with a feeling of 81 F in the shade.

There is also a nice breeze of 8 mph that helps with sweat evaporation that allows some relief from the heat so long as the person is well hydrated. The humidity is 40 percent with indoor humidity about the same. The dew point is 57 F if anyone can find an area of the land where it is 57 F. Have the folks of this country been experiencing DEW IN THE MORNING? I know I haven't and I should have as I am located near a body of water. There should have been mist drifting in and settling overnight with dew in the morning. That did not happen this year. The visibility is 25 miles which means there is no fog (water vapor).

Bear with me for awhile longer.

The temperatures are still elevated for autumn.

Below is the same reporting service with the same times of day but instead of an overview there is a humidity view.

The current humidity is 53 percent and the temperature is 78 F. Now, look at the overview of 2PM. The temperature is 80 with a humidity of 47 percent. The same trend holds true with 3PM, the temperature is 81 with a falling humidity of 45 percent and so on until 5 PM when there is a scant (see below) amount of rain and the humidity starts to recover. Why? Why isn't the humidity steady across the spectrum. I always thought heat made humidity worse and with higher suffering index. That isn't the case here.

Below when I say scant, I mean a total expected precipitation of 0.21 inches. The humidity starts to reverse at 5PM with some precipitation at 6PM in the amount of 0.01 inches. How much anyone wants to guess that if in Detroit when the precipitation starts a drizzle won't even be felt because it will simply evaporate in the heat?

On any given day, that was especially the case before September 21, 2024 during the summer months, the humidity would be higher in the morning UNTIL the sun came up. That is the nature of the planet, the difference is that there is low levels of humidity rather than experiencing dew on the surface of Earth. Then as the sun comes up to full sunlight the temperatures JUMP from 60s and 70s in Detroit, Michigan to the eights within less than an hour. During that same hour the humidity will drop considerably because the infrared is burning it out of the atmosphere.

The truth of what I am stating here is reflected in the Drought Monitor. All summer this phenomena has occurred where there is no dew on the ground and whatever humidity is in the air is burnt off resulting in less rainfall and an increasing dry Earth.

Anyone that wants to monitor their own reality will find that same phenomena going forward with an exceptionally hot summer in 2024.

The point to all this is that the USA and the Free World CANNOT go back to nurturing a fossil fuel energy economy. We are well on our way to an electric economy supplied more and more by alternative energies. We must continue that forward movement into the future if Earth is to return to it's old benevolence. I do not consider Earth benevolent right now. It is causing hardship that people cannot protect from and it is becoming more and more difficult to do so.

"We cannot go back." Promising consumers a 50% reduction in their energy costs including gas for the vehicles if still using gasoline requires the acceptance of the human costs that accompany that idea. There should be no tolerance to the idea human life is disposable to benefit the cost of energy. Wind is finding lower prices now than any fossil fuels.

There are a lot of costs involved with energy choices in 2024, don't be fooled by simply dollars and cents (click here). The moral outcomes of the future for this generation and the generations to come must be part of these decisions. Burning fossil fuels changes the trajectory of the ability of generations to have a sustainable lifestyle. Make the moral choice and it is not the return to MAYBE CHEAPER FOSSIL FUELS.

Land owners with their own windmills and solar panels on their roof have no additional costs and are selling excess electricity produced back to the grid.

Europe’s particle-physics laboratory (click here) CERN will expel hundreds of scientists who are affiliated with Russian institutions on 30 November unless they move to establishments outside of the nation. The date marks the official end of the lab’s collaboration with the Russian Federation, following CERN’s decision to cut ties with the country after its 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

But tension over CERN’s relationship with Russia remains among researchers, because the organization will continue to work with Russia-based scientists through an agreement with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) (click here), an intergovernmental centre in Dubna (click here), near Moscow. JINR’s arrangement with CERN is separate from Russia’s. The decision to not cut ties with the lab has divided researchers, some of whom point to its relationship with the Russian state, which continues its deadly war in Ukraine....

Russia needs to replace Czar Putin. The question is will the Russian affiliated scientists defect to the Free World for the sake of their craft and if so are they trustworthy? I remind there have been deaths as well as survived poisonings of Novichok. The decisions by these scientists and any continued contact with Russia is important to understand and reconcile. Is the science sound without Russia and it's scientists?

Dubnium (click here) is named after this unique city that is dedicated to science and the young scientist. These collaborations have been some of the most incredible cultural enrichment of people to benefit a path of peace and prosperity. It is difficult to simply say, "Good bye to colleagues."

It is most probably an algorithm.

I find it difficult to believe without forensic proof that the pagers were exploded by something like a plastic explosive (click here). Stuxnet was an Israeli algorithm that worked without detection until there was an investigation. I believe that is what occurred in Lebanon. It probably isn't Stuxnet, but, yet another brilliant invention by the Israeli Mossad.

In January 2010, (click here) inspectors with the International Atomic Energy Agency visiting the Natanz uranium enrichment plant in Iran noticed that centrifuges used to enrich uranium gas were failing at an unprecedented rate. The cause was a complete mystery—apparently as much to the Iranian technicians replacing the centrifuges as to the inspectors observing them.

Five months later a seemingly unrelated event occurred. A computer security firm in Belarus was called in to troubleshoot a series of computers in Iran that were crashing and rebooting repeatedly. Again, the cause of the problem was a mystery. That is, until the researchers found a handful of malicious files on one of the systems and discovered the world's first digital weapon.

Stuxnet, as it came to be known, was unlike any other virus or worm that came before. Rather than simply hijacking targeted computers or stealing information from them, it escaped the digital realm to wreak physical destruction on equipment the computers controlled....

It wasn't just one device. Different manufacturers. Now, I am to believe there was a global conspiracy against Hezbollah. There wasn't. The USA would have known ahead of the attack and it didn't. So, according to the fantasy war profile today the pagers and walkie talkies were interrupted in their shipments and diverted to Israel to install an explosive. Really?

This accounting by Franco seems to be a perfect storm. There had to be a lot to go perfectly if the mission was to be successful. It would have had a long time frame that would expose the operation to discovery (exposure of it's operation).

Occam's Razor dictates that simplicity is the answer to problems that continue to build in theoretical complexity. As far as I am concerned, Israel owns the cyber world globally if it can harness a devices software to carry out killings.

People die in war. War is not clean. If one looks at Russia's wars in the Middle East they are brutal, inhumane, and completely devastating. Russia's war in Syria looks exactly like Israel's war into Gaza. There is no difference.

...Given that the laws of war (click here) are intended to protect those who are not participating in hostilities during times of armed conflict, it may come as a surprise that civilians can still be lawfully killed in war. To be clear, the deliberate targeting of civilians is a war crime, nevertheless, in certain situations, the foreseen, but incidental killing of civilians is permissible in war. This article will lay out some of the responsibilities that combatants and fighters have towards civilians under the body of international law that regulates warfare: International Humanitarian Law (IHL)....

Ideally, Israel should have formed a coalition of countries it calls allies and carried out plans by such an alliance to round up Hamas members and other such terrorists in Gaza. The operation would look similar to the urban warfare the USA carried out in Iraq. This was Israel's call and it formed it's own war cabinet.

The people of Israel are up in arms about the conflict, hostages, and now the evacuation of northern Israel while it battles with Hezbollah at the border with Lebanon. The civilians of northern Israel want to go home. They want the fighting to stop.

Nasrallah is correct. There was an internal attack against Hezbollah. Hezbollah is recognized as a terrorist organization. Nasrallah has stated the killings were an act of war. In comparison, the USA had terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The USA acted to take down those networks and improve national security of a sovereign country. While Nasrallah is correct in stating the attacks within Lebanon is an act of war, it is not an act of war against Lebanon, it is against Hezbollah. Do the attacks of September 11th compare in the absolute right for retaliation by Hezbollah? Hezbollah is not a sovereign power and it would be wrong for Lebanon to take actions against Israel as the targets were obviously terrorists. The attacks also created carnage of civilians in the area of the dead terrorist. While Nasrallah is correct in that it is an act of war, it is not an act of war against a sovereign country. 

The Middle East is a very complex place. It always has been. The Free World has for decades tried to understand the intricacies of the HATE that exists between peoples in the region. There has been no easy answer and the peace processes only accomplish some degree of civil societies, but, they have in the past failed royally to give way to the dominance of terrorist networks. These networks grew into political parties, but, they never stopped their hatred or violence.

This entire situation with Israel is complex beyond any imagination to bring about peace. The people of Israel do not appear to be living in a democracy anymore, so much as a wartime sovereignty. Basically, a police state.

The USA State Department has a  difficult task. They have to understand an ally that is Israel while attempting to end the hate, bring about peace accords, and minimize the deaths of innocent people. It is an impossible task and it is not getting easier.

All I know is that Israel's Mossad are pure geniuses that currently own the world of cyber. I am getting rid of wireless in my life at every turn.
